I had an amazing time at Cafe Angelo! Eduardo was our server, and he went above and beyond, not only with his attentive service but also with an unforgettable cheese wheel presentation that included truffle—absolutely unstoppable! The Lemon Cello martini was hands down the best I’ve ever had, a perfect complement to the incredible meal.The service here is by far the best I’ve experienced in Little Italy. To top it all off, we were treated to a delightful performance by a local band, playing Christmas songs and even taking a few of our requests.I absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back for more truffle pasta!

Sure! Heres your review in English:---We had an amazing dining experience at DAngelo in Little Italy. Our server, Salvador, was incredibly attentive, kind, and exceptional throughout the meal. We ordered the truffle cream pasta, the Diavolo pizza, and the cannelloni – everything was absolutely exquisite. To top it off, they kindly offered us a complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal, which was the perfect finishing touch. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the outstanding service!And Bruno was so nice to us!!!!We will definitely come back again!Visiting from Ponce, Puerto Rico :)---Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

We had many other food I didnt get to take pictures of but from what I had it was amazing. We started off with the meatballs, mussel, baked clams and pulpo (octopus) salad (its cold pulpo FYI). I had the seafood special with lobsters, mussels, baby clams and shrimp. It was good. One of my other guest i was with had shrimp scampi (only posted cause i try) and it was delicious as well. For dessert i got try cheesecake and crème brûlée. I would be honest the crème brûlée its way better if you had pick and choose out those 2 options. But both desserts were good. Florin the waiter is amazing guy, speaks few languages and is very catering ! Thank you for your service and amazing food. Would definitely come back !

If youre looking for a truly Italian restaurant experience this is the place. It is within the little Italy area.Staff is very friendly and attentive.Eating and drinking options are quite decent.Desserts are very nice,While I got surprised by the price of the main dish, truffle pasta, I still think it was worth.Definitely a great place for a nice dinner. We had an 8:30 reservation on Christmas Day. Showed up 45 minutes early and, shortly, were able to accommodate our party of five (was super cold outside, so we hung out in their heated staging area). Food was amazing. Service was quick and well-executed. Atmosphere was intimate and friendly (my family enjoyed a meal alone and sang Happy Birthday to another table).Will absolutely return and highly recommend.

Had a great lunch at Casa D Angelo today! By far and away Service was the best part of the experience. Florian and Cameron provided great recommendations! The Octopus salad was incredible and light! Also had the Linguine ai Frutti di Mare. Also very good! We sat at the bar and watched several people get the linguine with truffle. It looked amazing and in hindsight we should have ordered that as well. Overall fantastic experience in Little Italy!

What an amazing evening! We were familiar with Angelo’s prior to the renovations and new ownership but hadn’t been since they got new owners but boy did they not disappoint! Our waiter Fort made our evening memorable and special for a colleagues birthday - they had the whole restaurant engaged in singing happy birthday (which is embarrassing but fun and forever a memory)The food is also fabulous with all fresh pasta. You can’t go wrong with this little Italy spot!!

We took a day trip to NY to explore and go to a show at RCMH later at night. We walked through China town and little Italy and we’re flagged down by this guy who convinced us to sit down and eat some dinner… no regrets from that moment on. The calamari was fried perfectly and the sauce for it was incredible. Was definitely a homemade sauce. The pizza was amazing, the cheese really put it over the top with the slight char on the crust. The tortellini was creamy and delicious.We also had the red sangria during happy hour and it was the perfect mix of wine taste and fruit/sweet.Really had a great dinner and will come back again next time we visit the area.

Went for a tour of the catacombs in St. patricks Basilica and came across this gem.From the young man that was standing outside inviting people in, he was convincing. From the window showcasing the making of the fresh pasta, that was my selling point.The staff works amazingly well as a team. Turn tables very well, efficient, clean. Might i add theyre all hard working Latinos. Which I love. Casa D Angelo exceeded the expectations my wife and I had. I was set on ordering a lasagna until our waiter Eduardo G. told all the specials. We ended up sharing a Caesar salad to begin, then our entree, we also shared was the wheel cheese pasta. The pasta was made by our waiter and I am pretty sure he needs double the pay for being an amazing waiter, as well as an impeccable chef. I was also able to watch him make the wheel cheese pasta from (you guessed it) a cheese wheel. Eduardo explained the process to me entirely, in which he was very knowledgeable. The experience was a very memorable one. The food will absolutely be missed as we are not from the area. If you are looking for great, fresh Italian food, Casa D Angelo is the place to go!

We had a lovely time - we came for lunch as a family with children and the ambience was perfect. My husband ordered the special where they prepared and served in an aged Parmesan cheese wheel with freshly shaved black truffles and oil. It was pricey but worth it when you consider the ingredients and table side preparation. The sweet iced tea had a light citrus flavor and the Caesar salad bruschetta and rigatoni vodka was delicious. Portions are large so we did share the salad and pasta. Our serve Fort G was very hospitable. We will come again.

I came here with my girlfriend for our 5 year anniversary and they did not disappoint in any facet. The wait for the food was very short despite the restaurant being fairly busy at the time, and when we tasted it we realized that we had some to the right place. Our first dish was the Four Cheese Pizza and to say that it was fresh would be an understatement, the cheeses were melted to a perfect degree, whereas to not cause mess, but still pulled apart when you took a bite. Despite having an avid dislike for blue cheese, on this pizza it added a beautifully harmonious tang to the rest of the smooth cheeses. The crust was thin and reminded me of an expertly baked pastry, having a smooth and flakey texture which elevated the taste of the pizza. After we had finished our fill of the pizza, they brought out our fettuccine alfredo and the pizza greatly foreshadowed how this dish would be. The creaminess of the alfredo sauce was unrivaled from anything Ive tasted before and the presentation they fought it out with was amazing. The prices reflect a more expensive night out with your family, friends or loved ones, but I would be lying to say it isnt worth every penny. Our server, Florin, was amazing, quick on his feet, and was very helpful, we never had to wait long for anything, and he even went the extra mile and offered us a glass of champagne on the house on account of the occasion. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and homey. As I was typing out this review I was thinking of anything at all that would make me to rate it any lower than a 5 stars, but there wasnt a single thing that I could see anyone disliking about Casa DAngelo. Thank you for the wonderful service and we will definitely be returning.

But the service and the care in presentation and just pure deliciousness was far superior to other Italian restaurants that I haved gone to on Mulberry Street in New York City. Just delicious. The visual presentation does not convey and can not deliver the aroma and tactical delight of the culinary experience. I highly recommend this Italian wonder. And the sizes of the dishes plenty to share. I recommend eating them family style as there is to much for one person to finish in this way you can try more dishes.
