Bread was absolutely fantastic and the wine selection was great too. Sommelier was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the ragu special we had was so salty that we couldn’t eat it. The pesto pasta was extremely salty too. However they were super understanding and took it off our bill. I’m pretty sure this was an only tonight accident because otherwise the flavors were excellent. Service was fantastic as well they were super attentive. We ended up asking for more bread though because it was phenomenal. Ambiance is great!

Best meal of the year for me. Absolutely worth every penny. We took an amazing wine tasting class with Pasqueline and then had the opportunity to dine at the bar. Staff is quite knowledgeable about the food & wine.We dined pescatarian: Highly recommend the hamachi crudo, squid, tilefish, tomato salad, and the phyllo dessert.Everything was high quality, fresh and flavorful. Stunning wine list 🤩 We left full and happy and did not feel heavy.I cannot wait to try more of the menu, especially as the seasons change.

Lovely spot for an intimate meal - work dinner or with close friends. We sat at the kitchen and watched the chefs prepare delicious and beautiful dishes. The food is clean and wholesome. I loved the strawberry and pea salad, the risotto and the pork chop! Will be back to try more!We returned and every time we visit there is a different take on the risotto but its always a winner! Creamy, flavoursome and delicious. We also loved the mascarpone dessert.

  • Review 4 (2024-10-13 - Rating: 5)

Warm ambiance, fantastic service, and the food was beyond delicious. We will definitely be returning sooner rather than later but next time sitting at the chefs counter.

  • Review 5 (2024-12-29 - Rating: 5)

I live in the neighborhood and for the past year Chambers has been my go to spot at least once a month. The food is reliably creative and delicious. Even when a favorite dish rotates off I know it will return in season as appropriate. Everyone I bring or send enjoys themselves. Any seat (bar / chefs counter / table) is great.

  • Review 6 (2024-05-23 - Rating: 5)

Always an incredible dining experience at Chambers. Elevated cuisine, reasonable pricing for what you get. Extremely extensive and well curated wine list. Pairings for anything you can think of. Service is great, not pretentious and very light hearted which makes the experience very chill.

  • Review 7 (2024-04-27 - Rating: 5)

Theres something serendipitous about walking past a restaurant in New York that you havent heard of and can barely notice from the street and it turning out to be a gem.I would eat in this place even if the food were terrible because the acoustics were so good! Okay, Im lying, but this is a lovely restaurant and you can hear each other! The owner / manager, Jared was gracious and funny. The entire atmosphere of the restaurant is very chill. Even when it got busy there was still this calm and it was never crazy noisy.I was very intrigued by the sign over the bar that kept changing, like the ones you find in a train station. Very nice touch! The cocktails were elegant-looking and delicious. The names were fun and the flavors made you want to drink a pitcher of them. I resisted also getting the Tiki Or Not Tiki like rest of my group. Garnish was simple but striking -- a leaf of shiso in a glass with a large ice cube. They both loved it!I had the La Capilla which was a tricked out Paloma. The garnish was a sumac and salt edge around half the glass that I licked off happily.Chambers is like a neighborhood restaurant that you want to go to over and over. The food looked beautiful when it hit the table and each dish was well executed without being over handled. The bread -- sesame pizza bianca -- will make you cry. At first, I thought, No butter? Then, I tasted it and thought, Damn, thats good!”We had four appetizers, four mains, all the veggies, and two desserts.Loved the beets with one of my favorite blue cheeses ever the Bailey Hazen blue from Jasper Hill farms and smoked panko. The escarole salad was gorgeous looking. Tender yellow escarole that looked a bit like tulip petals and popped with the carrot slices and the pickled orange peppers.Manila clams in a celery root curry with stinging nettles, whod of thunk it? Very tasty! The mains were all solid. Great ingredients done well so they make you happy to eat them. The chicken was perfectly cooked, beautifully browned, topped with spinach on a puddle of sauce. The sauce on the sea bass was just really well done. Meyer lemon bernaise equals dreamy. The beef was tender and delish with spring alliums and mustardy potatoesOne of our party was allergic to mushrooms so we had to eat more of the pork tenderloin. I love that it wasnt overcooked. Pink pork can be a little off-putting for some but it was really good.Be sure to have the veggie sides.Im going to recreate the sweet potatoes at home tonight. Asparagus were all dente with an excellent anchovy mayo. The carrots were sticky with a tumble of toasted pistachios and fresh herbs. We had to Google the ice cream flavor, bordiga centum herbis = 100 herbs, served with the flourless chocolate cake because our Latin was rusty. It balanced really nicely with the bittersweet cake.We demolished the marscapone and phyllo Napoleon --crispy, creamy & yum!

  • Review 8 (2023-04-30 - Rating: 4)

Great, amazingly tasty dishes! Every dish was very well executed and packed with flavor. My favorite was the Berkshire pork loin. Our server who took our orders was attentive and friendly. However, the rest of the servers, who delivered our dishes, were aloof and even borderline rude. Often they would put the dishes near the edge of the table and walk away without a word, without placing them so each of us could easily reach them. Its a shame because the meal was excellent otherwise. The ambiance was nice. It has a modern, but relaxed vibe.Overall, Id recommend. But the service makes me hesitate to go back.

  • Review 9 (2024-08-10 - Rating: 5)

Best restaurant in Tribeca and its not even close. Inventive and delicious from start to finish (including the bar snacks and dessert). Love the castelfranco salad, the sesame pizza, the cavatelli (especially the spring tomato vodka version), the chicken, the eggplant parm, and the rhubarb dessert was phenomenal. The lafayette cocktail and their whole wine program is great too. Love their neighborhood-first concept, the design, and the ability to get a table. Amazing gem.

  • Review 10 (2022-10-17 - Rating: 5)

This restaurant has been a great new discovery. The wine program is simply amazing with the depth and variety that it has to offer. Despite the long list it’s also very well curated with both reasonably priced bottles and bottles for a special occasion. The food is excellent. I especially like the use of seasonal vegetables in the menu. I think this place is unlikely to do anything but become progressively harder to get to see that.

  • Review 11 (2024-08-19 - Rating: 5)

Probably one of the most amazing treasure filled restaurants in New York City.Ive been to many Michelin star restaurants and this experience blows them all away.Jared sets the tone as soon as you walk in the door. The man is amazing, he has the heart of gold and hes gifted in every manner of restaurant hospitality. The wine list is so expansive its not for the faint of heart, you should probably familiarize yourself with the list because it is amazing.Of course, there is help around the corner with a wonderful woman from France who knows wine inside and out.The food is wow spectacular amazing tantalizing tempting taunting titillating. I dont know what to say but this wine and food combination is off the charts. The ambience was eclectic... People who clearly understand food go to eat there with a low level of noise and a concentration on the the food the staff and the wine.Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves, there was laughter there was Joy there was general exuberance to be at this restaurant. There are only a few restaurants that tick the boxes like this one; its small, its beautiful and it does everything flawlessly.I cant wait to go back!!!

  • Review 12 (2024-12-04 - Rating: 5)

Chambers never ceases to blow me away. The food and wine are exquisite which is why Chambers draws such a crowd, but the service easily matches that quality. This is one restaurant that you must visit to understand why its reputation is so impeccable. The chicken and a side of carrots are perfect comfort food.

  • Review 13 (2023-04-30 - Rating: 5)

Chambers is a new restaurant in Tribeca. We visited on a rainy night and it was still packed. That is always a good sign. We were greeted and seated quickly by the friendly staff. Drink orders were taken with ample explanation for those of us with questions about the offerings. We had a few minutes to enjoy conversation within our table before the waitperson approached us about our appetizer selections. Again, we were given answers to our questions. The food selection on the menu was limited, but extremely delicious. Fish, pasta, meat dishes were chosen and were all excellent. Everyone was very pleased with the food. We shared the mascarpone dessert together and we all enjoyed it too. This is a great restaurant with great service and great food.Highly recommended.

  • Review 14 (2024-12-07 - Rating: 5)

Spectacular experience. Excellent food, extensive wine menu, and stellar service. Will be back!

  • Review 15 (2023-01-22 - Rating: 5)

Chambers is the best restaurant in NYC. The food is outstanding, every time. While I always intend to try something else, I just can’t steer away from the ricotta cavatelli. It’s outrageous. Like a French onion soup meets pasta. Beware: everyone will have their fork in it in no time. This is the type of place where you’d be remiss not to order a starter and some sides. The wine list is extensive but not intimidating because the somm is amazing and makes incredibly approachable recommendations. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff, Chef included, are super fun. Great option for walk ins, too. We love it here!

  • Review 16 (2024-12-29 - Rating: 5)

My wife and I moved to TriBeCa in September and have been trying one local restaurant a week since we arrived. This was hands down our favourite. The food was delicious, the service was perfect and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly.

  • Review 17 (2022-11-13 - Rating: 4)

Excellent resty with a great and interesting wine list! All the food was delicious and well executed. For the service, our waiter did not have a lot of personality, we had to ask the questions rather than him guiding us as it was our first time. If service is improved, I expect many more accolades for this place!

  • Review 18 (2024-12-11 - Rating: 4)

Calm and intimate atmosphere, good food, great wine. The chicken and the Manila clams were both very good, as was the complimentary bread. The monkfish had great texture, but the sauce was a bit salty. The flourless chocolate cake was rich (in a good way) and beautifully offset by the lemongrass ice cream.

  • Review 19 (2024-10-20 - Rating: 5)

It was a great experience from perfect welcome to the services from all employees. And the best was to discover incredible wines perfectly associated with the nice food. All this explained and discussed in details with one of the most famous and talented wine expert Pascaline Lepeltier :)

  • Review 20 (2022-09-10 - Rating: 5)

Excellent food. The wine program is fantastic and very deep. The team really takes the time to talk with you and find the perfect bottle/pairing. Cant wait to go back!

  • Review 21 (2025-01-03 - Rating: 5)

I want to shout from the rooftops about this extraordinary gem in NYCs Lower Manhattan - just a stones throw from City Hall. The general manager of a midtown restaurant recommended we try it because of its extensive collection of Chartreuse and great wine list. To enjoy a dinner with rare 1960s and even a sip of an even earlier bottling of the French liquer would have been worth the trek from UES, but the food alone overseen by head chef John was brilliantly conceived and full of flavor. Each dish was lovingly crafted and presented professionally by the team at Chambers. The divine tuna and equisitely dressed kohlrabi salad were wonderful starters, but the halibut with sunchokes and cheese gnudi entrees were delicious. Desserts, prepared in front of us at the kitchen counter seating, were amazing finales to start iur new year obsession with this special restaurant. We cannot wait to return often as we understand that the menu changes often even though the sommelier in chiefs wine list remains a constant that will impress most connoisseurs.

  • Review 22 (2024-12-08 - Rating: 5)

This is our favorite restaurant in New York. It feels very relaxed, but everything is done to perfection. The food is wonderful and matches a superb wine list that is masterfully curated by Pasqhualine Lepelitier.

  • Review 23 (2024-11-09 - Rating: 5)

Chambers is a breath of fresh air in a city that is doing too much with everything. The ambience is simple and refined, the service (the service!) is attentive and helpful, and the food lets the ingredients shine while still giving the wow factor of complicated preparations. It’s amazing that the team here has kept a neighborhood feel despite the high level food coming out of the kitchen. Gold medal to the bar team — you won’t get better bar service anywhere in the city. Speed, knowledge, conversation, truly an excellent all around performance.

  • Review 24 (2024-12-13 - Rating: 5)

Owner, not only knows her wines and pairings but ur truly delightful. The good is delicious but I cannot get away from ordering the chicken! It is to die for!

  • Review 25 (2024-12-08 - Rating: 4)

Food was absolutely delicious but the service was horrible. The manager explained our food like he couldn’t be bothered to be there. The only thing that came out timely was our water. Everything else was so slow - we ended up getting frustrated - our drinks, bread, mains just felt like never came out. Unfortunate….

  • Review 26 (2024-04-30 - Rating: 5)

My dining experiences at Chambers have been consistently enjoyable. The food is delicious, vibe is cordial, and the service is knowledgeable and attentive. The extensive wine list is amazing, with bottles on offer that can fit a range of budgets. My dinner companions on my last visit were teetotalers, so I branched out to cocktails and can definitely vouch for the “Continental Baths”.

  • Review 27 (2023-10-16 - Rating: 5)

Excellent service a little too quick on the wine refills and pushing to purchase another bottle, the wine list is excellent and picked by master sommelier Pascaline Lepeltier.

  • Review 28 (2024-04-29 - Rating: 5)

Simply a stunning experience each time. From dining at the bar, to a private event, this is probably the best kept secret restaurant in NYC. Run, don’t walk, to the best wine list you’ve yet to fawn over. Food has yet to miss, and blow a kiss to the jumbo chartreuse bottles.

  • Review 29 (2024-06-25 - Rating: 5)

One of the best meals Ive had in a while.

  • Review 30 (2024-07-19 - Rating: 5)

Chambers is a culinary gem that offers an extraordinary dining experience, blending sophisticated flavors with impeccable service. The menu at Chambers is a testament to the chef’s creativity and dedication to excellence. Each dish is crafted with precision, using the finest ingredients. From the delicate starters to the sumptuous main courses, every bite is a symphony of flavors.During my visit, I had the pleasure of savoring the sugar snap peas, which were perfectly cooked and accompanied by a delightful citrus beurre blanc. The main course, a perfectly cooked risotto, was served with ramp pesto and leeks. Each dish was beautifully presented, demonstrating an attention to detail that elevated the dining experience to new heights. The dessert selection at Chambers is equally impressive. The mascarpone phyllo, was the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable meal.

  • Review 31 (2024-10-09 - Rating: 5)

Place of wine lovers, Pascaline knows her stuff.

  • Review 32 (2024-10-24 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 33 (2022-12-02 - Rating: 5)

Had a great dinner with a friend. The staff was so attentive and knowledgeable. Every dish was amazing. I cant wait to go back.

  • Review 34 (2024-08-01 - Rating: 5)

This is one of NYC’s top destinations to enjoy delicious food, a uniquely thoughtful beverage program (including a wine selection second to none), and hospitality that can’t be beat, all in a space with a minimalist warmth that creates an incredibly calm and welcoming sensation upon entering…just like a luxury spa. As a huge bonus, a carefully-curated audio component effectively wraps your table in its own sound bubble, allowing for crystal-clear conversation so you can discuss every detail of your culinary experience without feeling any audio intrusion from the table next to you. Chambers is as close to perfect as it gets for lovers of fine (but humbly unpretentious) dining.

  • Review 35 (2024-11-13 - Rating: 5)

Sat at the bar -- a reservation made the night before for one. AMAZING wine list, and food was brilliant.

  • Review 36 (2024-09-05 - Rating: 5)

Delicious market food, one of the city’s best wine lists, reasonably spaced tables and low enough sound so you can have a conversation, cool vibe without being overly hip.

  • Review 37 (2023-12-06 - Rating: 5)

One of the most enjoyable dinners Ive ever had in New York City. The food is delicious and accompanied by one of the best-curated wine menus ever. Other restaurants in New York try to impress with 30 vintages of a wine youll never be able to afford, this one offers you selections that is so rare you couldnt buy it for any money in the world... and at a markup that is almost unbelievably fair for NYC!For me, the true testament to the brilliance of this place was their service: I forgot my backpack after the dinner. The restaurant was closed the next day and I had to catch a plane, but Jared went out of his way to help me very quickly and ship the backpack across the ocean!Thank you, Ill be back.

  • Review 38 (2024-06-13 - Rating: 5)

Chambers is as good as it gets. Neighborhood vibe with quality and consistency: the food, drinks, & service are all top tier. Ive been 4x and each time the experience is memorable - Worth traveling for.

  • Review 39 (2024-08-16 - Rating: 5)

Always one of my favorites. Great food, great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and spectacular wine list.

  • Review 40 (2024-06-20 - Rating: 5)

Another wonderful Chambers experience, this time celebrating an anniversary. Warmly welcomed by Jarred, then following a discussion w/somm Pascaline on our likes and menu choices, she chose a wonderful champagne, Solera, by Olivier Horiot in Riceys. Almond, oregano, herby and also a little hoppy, with a nice long finish, it expertly complemented the mackerel as well as the foie gras torchon, and squid. For the delicious sirloin w/chimichurri, the new (to us( super friendly somm, Oliviero, gamely suggested if we’d like to try two different reds - Roagna Dolcetto D’Alba and a Portuguese Dao from Antonio Madeira (more rustic) - so we could compare and contrast which we liked best, a lovely idea. As it happened my wife liked the more rustic Dao while I was quite taken with the silkier Nebbiolo. Finishing with a rhubarb cake, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Our server Siarra was delightful, always at the ready, when needed.

  • Review 41 (2024-06-01 - Rating: 4)

Outstanding food, especially relative to price paid. Great wine list and sommelier. Subpar service. Unfortunately, staff talks to you like they are doing you a favor. The sommelier was the exception-great guy and v knowledgeable

  • Review 42 (2024-05-20 - Rating: 5)

Run, dont walk!!Simply outstanding in every aspect....The food is spot on, the service impeccable & delightfully non intrusive & then of course theres the WINE LIST....Pascaline Lepeltier, in my humble opinion, has curated a superbly unique list of producers, all of whom farm their land with integrity & the well being of future generations in mind & craft their wine’s with minimal intervention & the well being of their consumers in mind.It is also one that allows you to choose superb wines at every price point & I love that as its in total keeping with one of three cornerstone words of Frances motto - Egalité (equality). There’s literally something for everybody.Thank you everyone at Chambers for a perfect evening......

  • Review 43 (2023-06-01 - Rating: 5)

This is one of the best restaurants in NY. Their staff is warm, friendly and attentive. Their food menu changes seasonally and is always exciting. Highly recommend regardless of the season, order the sweetbreads. Currently they have sun chokes on the menu and they are cooked to perfection. You can’t forget about the cocktails and wine list. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. The staff will guide you to your beverage choice 🍸

  • Review 44 (2024-05-10 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely love Chambers in Tribeca! Impeccable wine selection, with an amazing sommelier whos more than happy to guide you through blind tastings if you ask! The food is inventive and delicious, made with excellent products. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance - not too dark or noisy. The staff is incredibly welcoming. A must-visit gem in Tribeca!

  • Review 45 (2024-01-08 - Rating: 5)

Without a doubt this place is a must try if you want a elevated dining experience. I recently celebrated my moms birthday at this restaurant, and it was a truly 5-star experience! We indulged in a variety of dishes from the extensive menu for a party of four, and every bite was exceptional. Even my mom, who can be quite discerning, had little to no complaints. The atmosphere is perfect for special occasions like birthdays or date nights. Me and my party of four managed to try the entire menu including having all of the desert items in one sitting. My only regret is that I didn’t have any to take home for leftovers ☹️

  • Review 46 (2023-04-08 - Rating: 4)

Cute location, nice food and rapifly served. Cool to go there with friends for. Cozy/ chill evening

  • Review 47 (2024-12-19 - Rating: 5)

A excellent local TriBeCa place in a generous sliver on Chambers Street. A curated menu that may seem limited but not limited in flavor, ingredients and preparation. All dishes are covered-- veg, fish, beef and chicken. One of those rare places where you can pick with eyes closed and everything on the menu is full of flavor and unique preparation. Flavors are rich but feel like clean eating. Though its a smallish restaurant the seating variety is terrific--bar, kitchen view(fabulous to watch prep!), community table or regular table. A lively spot and chic understated digs that highlight the food.

  • Review 48 (2023-07-30 - Rating: 5)

Best restaurant Ive been to in a long time. We had group of 5 and basically ordered every item on the menu. Every single dish, from the starters, mains and desserts, was excellent - super fresh, creative and flavorful. Service and vibe were also great, surprisingly quiet, with a nice list to top it off. Will be back!

  • Review 56 (2024-06-12 - Rating: 4)

Loved the food, ambiance and the wine list is simply fabulous. I sat alone at the bar so I opted for wine by the glass, something I like doing when the wine selection is very interesting which was the case here. I guess I got unlucky with the service?... I was expecting a bit more of a proactive, pationate approach to help me chose the wine. A bit more tasting before choosing which is exactly what the couple next to me was experiencing. Try this it’s great with oysters, compare it to this other one, etc I will try again, fingers crossed.

  • Review 57 (2022-07-16 - Rating: 5)

Really one of the best restaurants we’ve been to since before the pandemic. We felt excited about every dish and the wine was magnificent. Warm, down to earth but professional staff and a comfortable, not stuffy setting. A truly special experience, we look forward to going back!

  • Review 58 (2023-06-23 - Rating: 4)

Have wanted to come here for a while. overall a very enjoyable experience.food is really stellar - almost a 10/10. i’d say portion sizes are fantastic, not too big or small - we shared 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts, between 3 of us.the sesame pizza bianca at the beginning was fresh, warm, chewy and totally superb. we ordered it twice.starters of gem salad, strawberries, and hamachi - all great. mains of hanger steak and pork - mine was the hanger steak, which was really to die for. every bite was perfect. like wow.sides of asparagus and potato. asparagus was cold which was not what i was expecting - still great. the potatoes were heavenly with the steak.deserts… the millefeuille and then strawberries were stellar. the millefeuille was one of the best i’ve ever had. i’d say the chocolate cake was a bit of a miss — the cocoa powder on top ruined it (i have no idea why restaurants do this!)only thing that was a bit of a miss was the service. we waited FOREVER (almost 45 mins) for the sommelier…. didn’t order until 30 mins in. service was a bit eh… no one really seemed that friendly.

You like wine? And you haven’t been to Chambers? And you think this is funny? Go. Now. Then show me a better list of the same size. The list is a monster bound in leather, and trying to absorb it in a single night is akin to trying to speed-read Infinite Jest or House of Leaves or that book about the color blue. Stop reading this and just walk in (because you can; it’s a key part of their hospitality philosophy.) 6 Stars & 3 thumbs up.

I came here for dinner with a guest I was hosting. Id never dined at Chambers but trusted the reviews and booked a reservation for the chefs counter.I thought the food was fresh and there was depth in flavor, but to be honest, just lacking in salt by 20%. The swordfish with artichokes and olives was particularly delicious. The chocolate creme brulee was to die for where I wanted to jump over the counter and ask anyone who would tell me how they made it.As someone who explores a lot of N/A and low-alcoholic options anywhere and everywhere, I was delighted to see that they had the 2% alcohol bi lemongrass on the menu. Although they ran out by the time we were there, having this on the menu would entice me to bring my low-alcohol friends for the experience.

Perhaps the most interesting wine program in the world? Pascaline is a global superstar and if I ate here every night I would not exhaust the wines that I want to try on their list. There are interesting choices at any price range and they are particularly strong in the Loire Valley and emerging regions like the Jura and Savoie. Delicious food and friendly service as well, in a stylish but casual setting. I wish it were around the corner from me.

Food overshadowed by bad service. Seated 30 min late, mains arrived late. Generally apathetic crew, aside some the sommelier - he was great.

This is the best thing to happen to the Tribeca food scene in a while. Incredible space, great cocktail program, and a delicious unpretentious market based menu

  • Review 71 (2023-01-21 - Rating: 5)

One of the best restaurants in nyc and one of our favorites. Easily the best wine list in the city and the som always finds the perfect bottle for the occasion. Food is outright delicious. Have tried most things on the menu and can’t remember a dish that wasn’t top notch. My wife would eat the ricotta cavatelli every night if that was at all possible. Definitely order any dessert! The team are heaps of fun too. Super welcoming and friendly.

I’ve been meaning to come here since they opened. the hanger steak with asparagus and brown butter hollandaise was a sensation, i made it disappear. the wine list is incredible, and i love the selection of rare chartreuses. i’m very much looking forward to coming back with someone on a night i can do more damage to the menu. friendly staff and very cool ambiance.

This is one of our go to restaurants whenever we go to NYC (we are from Bmore). Started as Racine and has not missed a beat. Best wine list in NY and I do not just mean the big names but some really nice small operations. Very deep Loire section and the sommelier is really nice and knowledgeable; let her find something great that you never heard of. And the food is the equal to the wine and as others have said - great casual vibe.

  • Review 79 (2022-07-21 - Rating: 5)

Best spot in Tribeca, hands down. Wine selection and cocktails are unbeatable. Food is creative and delicious every time. Staff is welcoming and so knowledgeable.

The Summer Fixe menu was outstanding from start to finish. Unbelievably good value and, most of all, exquisite food, accompanied by Chambers gracious service. Cannot wait to try each Summer Fixe offering, as they debut a new menu every two weeks.

This cozy, seasonal, farm-to-table restaurant had great ambiance, food, and amazing desserts. The staff were friendly and the sommelier had great suggestions for wine (she goes for the good stuff, not just the expensive).Their focaccia bread comes out warm, fluffy and so gooooood. Dont miss it. Our other favourites were their beets, duck, and mascarpone dessert. Worth checking out & a return visit.💛🍞🍷💛

  • Review 90 (2022-09-24 - Rating: 5)

What a delightful & delicious experience! By the end we almost wanted to move to TriBeCa just so we could dine there every week. No prob tho, just take the E train to World Trade (last stop) and walk two more blocks to Chambers. We eschewed the first course offerings in favor of an entree and side per each which was great but we noticed the four-top next to us made an entire meal sharing nearly, if not all, of the starters...an idea for next time. Eggplant parm was thin, light, crispy & cheesy. The sauce had real depth and the entire dish was entirely satisfying. The roasted lamb with cranberry beans and artichokes was absolutely perfect...tender and flavorful way beyond expectation. We accompanied both with a mega order of roasted late season okra dusted with BBQ seasonings and a creamy presentation of barely cooked but warm yellow corn in a not overpowering ramp pesto. Our wine choice was driven by our new interest in all things Portuguese...see below. We were quite well handled by our waiter Ryan but the sommelier could have been a bit more attentive. The atmosphere is modern, convivial and almost a remembrance of how things used to be pre-pandemic. Maybe if we all squint a little (or a lot)...it never really happened at all!

Chambers is one of those restaurants I often think about - and always try to visit when Im in New York. The minute you walk through the door, the casual, yet sophisticated vibe sets the tone for a memorable experience. The cuisine is well sourced and brought to full potential by the talented kitchen team. The Manilla Clams and Risotto were standouts this visit, and the beautifully toasted sesame pizza Bianca could have been a meal in itself with a glass of wine! Chambers is noted for its extensive wine list, yet features a strong craft cocktail program including some delicious non-alcoholic selections. As always service at the bar was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. I look forward to returning to Chambers as soon as possible.

  • Review 96 (2024-06-12 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely fabulous place. Been several times over the years and will keep going back every time Im in NYC. From Racines to the current iteration called Chambers, the people who run this place (in particular Jared and Pascaline) have found a winning and sustainable formula. The food and wine are outstanding and reasonably priced. The ambience is unpretentious and comfortable. Really, can’t praise this place enough. Most recently, loved the pesto risotto and drank a sublime bottle of Chardonnay from Chateau de Beru. I might even move to Chambers Street just to be next door to this restaurant ;-)

Amazing restaurant in the heart of Tribeca NYC ! The food was great, service adorable and they have a great menu of drinks. I do not drink wine but everyone around us was enjoying and complimenting the wine menu!! Congratulations!

  • Review 103 (2023-09-01 - Rating: 5)

I love their meat and poultry. So far I havent found anywhere else that can cook pork loin and chicken so brilliantly. Their desert with peach was also very impressive. However, I would expect them to have a better service team. I was feeling that I was the last to be taken care of, though I arrived earlier than many of the other guests.Another thing Id like to mention is that they didn’t provide an introduction to the courses when they were served. That is somewhat disappointing.Anyways, the food was great.

  • Review 104 (2023-11-30 - Rating: 5)

My partner and I dined at Chambers and were so moved by the hospitality we were shown; the somm Ellis intuited what we were looking for in just a few moments and treated us so kindly throughout our visit. The food was delicious; not fussy but so thoughtful and so well executed. We cant wait to come back the next time were in town and well recommend visiting to anyone who will listen.

Chambers is exceptional. I dont often go out of my way to write reviews, but everything about the meal- Food, drink, service, ambiance, was all excellent. Also, Pascalines knowledge (and the resulting wine list....) is truly next-level. One of a kind.Edit: Been there a bunch more times since. Still exceptional, every single time.

  • Review 111 (2023-01-29 - Rating: 5)

We had a wonderful dinner at Chambers last week. The restaurant is designed in a minimalist and relaxed style. Dinner was superb, without being fussy. The sommelier has prepared an encyclopedic wine list with selections at all price points. She was extremely helpful and a pleasure chat with. It was a delicious, relaxing and fun evening.

One of my favorite restaurants in New York. Very cozy and the crew is friendly and on top of everything. Every dish blows my mind - flavor pairings that I’ve never thought of - the carrots and pork chop are probably my go to’s. Don’t skip out on dessert - chocolate mousse is unreal

Can’t say enough good things about Chambers. The service is effortless and perfect. The kitchen puts out delicious food and accommodated my allergy. And of course the wine. Pure genius. Pascaline and Ellis do an incredible job. I was stunned by the Chenin we choose. Can’t think of a better place to have wine that stimulates the mind. Bravo!

  • Review 121 (2023-01-24 - Rating: 5)

In Racine’s space a similar wine centric place with excellent food. The room is warm and well lit. The music is unobtrusive which is remarkable these days. So nice to see and hear easily! Service was impeccable and a surprise for such a casual spot. We enjoyed an expertly balanced Bamboo and several superb wines from Ellis the Somm. Gave him a budget and a few words of direction and were just blown away. World class. We especially recommend: outstanding, light sweetbreads too often breaded and mushy, steelhead trout and whole gulf shrimp, monkfish and carrots with curry vinaigrette. For dessert we liked cheese and crackers and the honey crisp apple with chartreuse ice cream. We felt it was an excellent value and look forward to going back.

If you’re big into wine, this place is also for you.

  • Review 137 (2025-01-08 - Rating: 5)

Chambers is a restaurant which immediately goes from first visit to obsession. It is an amalgamation of food, drinks and place - think of a symphony orchestra playing. The frequently changing food menu has perfect choices, for us it was lobster bisque and chicken - latter always staying on the menu because it is so good! Cocktails were crafty and unique. Then there is the wine list curated by Pascaline Lepeltier, Decanters rising star 2024 and the most approachable wine expert I have ever come across. She grew up in Loire Valley, France and has amassed a list of unparalleled Loire wines. Oh how I would like to drink through the whole list! The overall experience is seamless perfection and when you sit down you feel like you belong - no better feeling to enjoy superb food and drink.

  • Review 139 (2024-10-30 - Rating: 5)

@lydieats 💕 Delicious dishes, quality ingredients, elevated vibes, and just a curated dining experience. Love that it’s a calmer space so you get to hear each other speak without yelling. Perfect for smaller groups!Starting with the fav, you NEED to get the mascarpone dessert. Layers of crispy phyllo, scrumptious creme with caramel and lemon pistachio crunch 🥰 It’s that perfect sweet bite and the diff textures come together effortlessly. Another must is the chicken (and I don’t even like ordering chicken). SO tender and juicy with the most amazing skin. A lot of flavor too from the sherry& thyme sauce.First round of bread is complimentary and let me tell you this is some GOOD bread. Sesame pizza bianca on paper so simply said, chewy pizza crust🔥 Simple yet perfectly executed. Solid salad but the smoked breadcrumbs takes it over the top. As for the rest, pork is good just a tad salty. Hamachi is good quality just not as exciting.💕 mascarpone $15*💕 snowdance chicken $38*💕little gems $18💕 berkshire pork $39💕 summer squash $11💕 hamachi $22I was sick of eating, but I ate here and was completely cured. As expected, my taste is a modern, clean wine bar 🤭 The atmosphere is calm, the dishes are delicious, and its the perfect space to relax after work. Do you feel like all dishes have solid basics? It seems simple and yet flavorful, but it is a bit salty, which is inevitable since it is American food. The best is the aperitif bread and the chicken & mascarpone dessert. Be sure to eat three of these. Especially chicken!! So moist and soft. This mille-feuille-like dessert is made with phyllo dough and is perfectly crispy. The combination of light cream and caramel is perfect 💯

A very good restaurant in Tribeca. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed. All dishes taste excellent and are of the best quality. Pair it with a nice wine from the very remarkable wine list, but the selection of international beers is also first-class. A cold pineapple with the ribeye...Simply wonderful. The employees are all very friendly and accommodating. You can enjoy a very nice evening here.
