The pizza was not hot. Which was obviously disappointing. The French fries were hot and delicious. The burger which I am glad I shared wasnt so great. Instead of gueyere cheese, cheddar or american would suffice. For such a nice establishment the food should delicious.

If you’re coming to this place then you’re absolutely coming for the experience. During the holiday they open the igloos and it was an enjoyable experience. There is this place and another rooftop bars that are the only to do this in Manhattan. This place was very accommodating, and we were able to get a reservation two days before. We got lucky because the reservations book up pretty fast. There is a minimum of $250 in food and beverage, for up to five guests and they charge you additional for each guest. The price wasn’t so bad compared to the other location in Manhattan which I believe is up to $80 per person. Reservations are only for a 90-minute seating. The staff was attentive and helpful, and they allowed us to sit some additional time since the reservation after us had canceled which was kind of them.Once again, you’re really coming to this place for the experience, the coziness and the views of beautiful Rockefeller Center during the winter.

Fun pop-up right at Rockefeller, outdoor only (some closed up igloos). Spacing available, have sanitizer too. Menu includes wine on tap, some snacks. Open until 8 pm. Look out for the food truck across American Girl store off 51st

My girlfriend took me down to the city on Wednesday to go see the tree and do some shopping we ended up stopping by here and grab a glass of wine and enjoy the views. The guys there were so kind and attentive we loved our experience there and I ended up leaving there a fiancée!!! Thank you for the amazing time we will definitely be back

Great atmosphere, great service, and I ordered no food. We just came here for drinks. BUT while good, we had two tiny glasses of wine for $28. We enjoyed our drinks and then went elsewhere to continue the night, haha.

Honestly, we just stopped in here because the wine truck and the little private domes just caught my eye. We grabbed a quick glass of wine with friends while out and about. Our server was super friendly, nice music and ambiance. Wine was good-- nothing spectacular. The atmosphere though does make this a nice spot just to gather and catch up with friends.

We rented an igloo and it was such a fun experience! It’s close to ice skating and the Christmas tree, but far enough away to be out of the crowd. The igloo is decorated with Christmas lights and a personal heater.Service was also great!

Always a “must” whenever we are in NYC! Great wine, great staff, great atmosphere in the shadows of 30Rock.

I’m sitting in Rockefeller Plaza at cute City Winery with little white lights and plants and barrels all around in a quieter area in the shade and with a breeze on a hot day drinking a glass of Rose 🍷. What more could one want?

**Update**: I wanted to update my prior negative review of City Winery. My main issue was having trouble finding the pop-up location (which I now know is located across from the Jewel Hotel).Shortly after posting my review I was contacted by the City Winery team who apologized and we’re very concerned about my experience. They coordinated with my wife to find time for us to visit and we had an enjoyable experience the following weekend! The tents were very warm and the view of the Rockefeller tree was great. They took great care of us and the service was amazing, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the charcuterie board and everything tasted great and paired well with the wine. As for the wine, we tried the Rose, Riesling, and Cava and enjoyed all three of them. This was the experience we were hoping for initially and I have to say they delivered. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun Christmas-y outing in NYC

Beautiful place to stop and take a break from shopping and tourist stuff. Music was great. Not much seating but we lucked out

Awesome experience! Love the guys working here, especially Joe. The bubbles are cozy and warm. Highly recommend!

The pop up bar is actually across Rockefeller Plaza just north of the tree and ice skating rink. Great way to get out of the crowds while taking in the Christmas sprit and view of the tree and have a drink. They offer a few wines, beer, some snacks.Look around for seating because some is tucked away in corners like these under the umbrellas. The winter domes (clear plastic heated seating) can be privately booked online at Resy for $250 food/beverage minimum for 5 people over 90 minutes. There was one dome that was open to the public when we were there but it was at capacity so I didn’t get to go inside.

We had a wine here. The ambiente is very cool and cosy, the service is good too but the prices are a little high. Also the wine came in plastic cups.

Update: After initially being unable to find the location for my husbands birthday, city winery kindly offered an alternate date for us to visit and we had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was amazing and we had a wonderful time in one of the bubbles which was well heated and had fun Christmas music playing. The staff was attentive and the wines were delicious. It’s rare to feel so relaxed and comfortable in the heart of Rockefeller center during Christmas time. They were even kind enough to compensate us with a couple drinks for the mix-up the week before. I have to say we had a fantastic time and appreciate the way they took care of us. I would highly recommend this experience!

Place is awesome!! Great place to rest your feet, people watch, and grab a brew/wine. Would definitely go back.

Great afternoon at City Winery in the heart of Rockefeller Center. We were even able to snag a cool igloo with a view of the RW EMT arrived (scaffolded) Rock Center tree. Mark did an awesome job sanitizing the bubble between diners. It was heated, quiet and cozy! Perfect for catching up with a dear friend. Both Mark and Jake (bartender) were friendly and fun. Made the visit really comfortable (in these crazy times) ans enjoyable. We had nuts rather than “Cuomo chips” with our beers. You gotta eat! Highly recommend. A beautiful quiet respite in the (hope to be soon again) bustling NYC.

The wine was very good. The atmosphere too but above all Andy treated us GREAT, super friendly and professional. He deserves a raise for sure! 👏🏼👏🏼

  • Review 21 (2023-04-03 - Rating: 4)

Fantastic and very funny. They put you in mini plastic tents that insulate you from the cold. Its quite an experience.

14 dollars per plastic cup, the charm of a beach bar and of course a great location. The really high price and the fact that unfortunately there were no cushions on the benches are degrading. The service is nice and of course the location has to be paid for. You cant crash here, otherwise youll be poor. ;)
