    I really do like this location. Its the only spot in the neighborhood to enjoy a nice glass of wine and it delivers. The music is nice, the spot is cozy and the seating is comfortable. However, the TVs behind the bar are really distracting and ruin the romantic vibes. Along with turning off the TVs, please also consider changing the lighting of the awning and add little candles to the tables. It will make a much more sophisticated experience .

    What a lovely spot. We ordered the 3x3 cheese/meat board which was plentiful and delicious. The frugal and feta pierogies were a nice portion and delicious. The have a great wine selection and love that they have nice dessert wines as well. We had the lamb vindaloo and the braised short rib and both were flavorful and yummy. The decor, lighting, an music are great. Agreed with previous poster about TVs but at least when I was there the channels were HGTV and cooking show. The waitress/host was attentive and nice. Well worth a visit. We will come back!

    Great local wine bar, food is very good and they often change the menu seasonally. Also very interesting selection of international wines and sometimes beers. Please bring back the wine flights!!!!

    This place gave me nice, chill vibes. Great aesthetics all over. The staff was really friendly and attentive. They had a plethora of options when it came to wine, I would recommend buying a bottle. The food was also prepared well, everything was really fresh. I had the salmon burger and it’s by far the best salmon burger I’ve ever had. Who would of known.

    We love to split the meat and cheese and let the chef pick. Weve come back over and over and always leave happy. The service can be slower than wed like, so weve learned to sit at the bar and get our full order in asap.

    The absolute best wine bar in NYC. A must-visit for locals and tourists! Must try items: crab and avocado, muscles, perogies, and the meat and cheese board. Every single wine diligently researched and selected... by far the best wine selection in the entire city. Family owned and operated. My favorite place.

    First time going. The place is fairly small..so I guess you can call it cozy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating..going so far as to even laugh at all my stupid jokes!!! Food was excellent..we had the large Meat and Cheese board (5 of each). My twin seven year old daughters loved the grilled cheese sandwich along with the quesadillas!!! For wine we had the Pinot Grigio first but then switched over to a NY state wine..McGregor I think..dessert we shared a chocolate mousse that was heavenly and light!! We looked everything very much and are planning on going again real soon!!

    As I sit here on a Sunday I have to say very nice cool atmosphere. I came in no expectations I’m very big on vibes and the vibes are immaculate. You feel like family. I would recommend all day. Drinks are on point, oysters on point pizza on point my daughter is picky eater and she loved it hot and fresh. I don’t know how busy they get after hours but so far so good. This is coming from someone who is very hard to impress. This and Salas is the best I have in this neighborhood accompanied by good vibes and service

    The pros: cozy, decent wine & cheese selections, very interesting and diverse food menu. The pizzas we tried were quite good. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced.The cons: music/noise level was a bit much for a small place, server was extremely rude (she was the only one working, so I have some sympathy), from the food menu we also got a salad which had potential but something in it tasted a bit stale (likely the nuts) and made me sick.Overall, Im glad this place exists in the neighborhood and will come back to try it again, with the hope that a few things will be better next time.

    Came again for a lunch date with hubby and the food and atmosphere was perfect. Fresh and delicious. Lamb burger was moist and tasty. Great selection of meat, cheese and wine. We finished a bottle and had a nice and relaxing Friday lunch!

    Cozy and charming family-run restaurant with great food and excellent service. Tried several different things on the menu, they all were very good. My favorite is Manilla clams in green Thai curry sauce. The crowd tends to be very pleasant, which enhances the experience. Will definitely return again.

    What a great time! The wines were magnificent, and the selection is made very easy with great categories on the menu. Theres a custom flight of wines you can pick, you can taste before ordering a full glass and just generally a wonderful wine experience!The house (apartment) salad was delicious, as well as appetizers and a cheese plate.Pizza was not amazing, while the ingredients, toppings and combinations were great, the crust was not on par.Prices are really really great, as well as service. Will definitely be coming back here for many more times. Music was on point too!

    Came here for Thanksgiving and had the pre fix menu and it was delicious. Every part of the meal was amazing. The soup and salad were served quickly and were both amazing. The turkey was fantastic and came with mashed potatoes, stuffing, spinach, and cranberry sauce that was wonderful. Dan was very nice and accommodating. Great music wonderful atmosphere.

    Nice selection of wines including some interesting varieties for the palate. The food options are plenty depending on your hunger level. I’d say the place holds ~25 seated people so chances of not getting a spot are 50/50 depending on the day/time

    I come here each time when I visit NYC from London, and there hasnt been a single time in the last 2 years when this place has disappointed. Great wine selection, cosy atmosphere, very friendly staff and the food is fantastic. My Queens born fiancee said the pastrami sandwich is one of the best shes ever had! See you next time we are in Forest Hills!

    Keuka Kafe!!!Service: As soon as my sister and I walked in it was all smiles and very welcoming. We walked in and were asked if we had a reservation - to which I replied no and sat down at one of the tables that wasnt reserved. I let the server know I had a Groupon and he asked are you Sandy?... I said yes how how do you know that? 🤔. He then said you do have a reservation and moved us over to the reserved table lol. I was laughing so hard because it was so unexpected. He saw on Facebook that I talked about going and was kind enough to reserve a table for me! Carlos the amazing bartender was much more than a bartender, he was the bartender, host, busboy, and server. Honestly I wouldnt be surprised if he was the chef too 😂😂😂 (hes not). I was a little worried that I saw him doing everything alone but he surpassed my expectations. Everybody was happy, he left Noone waiting at any point in time, and he was very attentive and catered to everyone. The service was impeccable.Food: There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try! I had the Groupon so we started with a nice dry bottle of red wine from Italy. We started with the Crab n Avocado appetizer which was soooo good, it reminded me of my favorite appetizer as Havana Central, lobster stuffed avocado, but this was actually a lot more flavorful and it came with pieces of toasted bread that was delicious . The bread had some kind of garlic spread on it which was amazing.We also ordered the mussels everybody was raving about in the riesling garlic sauce. They were soaked in the sauce and they didnt have that fishy taste that mussels usually have. It was fantastic. They really were as good as you guys said. As you can see the portions are GENEROUS. We didnt even finish everything, packed some of the food to go. And then came the Keuka Pizza we ordered. We were already pretty full off of the wine and Appetizers so I feel like I couldnt really appreciate the pizza as much as I wanted to. The jack cheese on the thin crust pizza was so good. The crust was my favorite part, perfectly crispy and thin just how I like it. It had avocado pesto, shrimp, Jack cheese and cilantro. It was very different, but good. We did get a second bottle of the wine because we werent ready to leave... which we also finished lol.I will definitely be returning for dinner, I forgot to try the cheese and meat platter. I definitely have to try that the next time. I LOVE cheese. I also got to meet the famous Oleg because we were there until close! Very nice guy as well! Actually we were there after closing time because I thought they closed at 11 but they closed at 10. I felt so bad that we were still there preventing him from closing but Carlos was very kind and did not rush us out. I definitely recommend. Thank you Carlos for a fantastic evening. We had a great evening together on our sister date.Ps: I loved all the candles everywhere, the dim lighting and the music. It had an intimate, cozy vibe. Very nice for a date night!

    Pretty small place that seats maybe 25 or so people between the bar tables and window high chairs. Maybe 10 people inside on a Saturday night. Pretty good wine and cheese menu and a surprisingly good selection of foods as well. I had the soup of the day which was quinoa sausage and chicken with a gouda cheese grilled cheese sandwich. I would give it 4/5 for taste. I also had the chicken quesadillas which were 4/5 in terms of taste. Wine comes in wine glasses and is served in smaller 5.3 oz amounts so that you can sample more wine for an overall lower cost. 5/5 service.

    My friends and I had an excellent time here, and the staff went far beyond what they needed to in order to give us a great experience. We called earlier in the week to make sure there would be space for us, and Ollie made sure we would have an area saved for our party of eight and that we would have food even though the kitchen was closed. Becca was an outstanding bartender, happy to tell us what meats and cheeses were in the platter every time someone asked (we were drunk, so that was a lot) and always available the second we needed something. I cant recommend them enough.

    Ollie and Olga always have great themed events with stellar menus. These nights are PACKED for a reason. There is a real passion that these two have with their food and wine parings and Id like to think it shows in their presentation and vast knowledge.     This is a family-run place very popular with the locals both for the food, the wines, and the friendly casual atmosphere. Not pretentious like other wine bars. We booked a small party and tried many of the things on the menu. Everyone was raving about the food. The owner, Ollie is really good with making recommendations about wine and is also a fantastic chef. Get on their mailing list for special events and you’ll make lots of friends there. It’s small so call ahead to avoid disappointment.

    I’ve been here often over the years. There just isn’t a whole lot of choice in Forest hills for decent after work hang out/happy hour. I usually end up here and the wine has been consistently good over the years. I usually get happy hour but the wine list is varied and large with lots of good options from the finger lakes region (dry reisling is a standout). I don’t love the food. They have a lot of inconsistency in the kitchen. I guess different cooks depending on the day. I usually get a pizza. Sometimes they overcook it and the crust is burnt. But that’s better than when it comes out wet and floppy (gag). About half the time it comes out perfect. I’ll still come because it’s a chill place to get a drink and BS with friends during the week. I just wish they trained their cooks better!!!

    Full disclosure: This is my cheers.If you are a novice to the wine world , this is a fantastic place to start, the staff is knowledge in the wine severed and pair them to food which will never leave you with a greasy feelings. The chief is always thinking up new dishes to enjoy. Brunch is laid back and Mondays are a great time to visit to try be wines. A neighborhood treasure.

    Over 50 years of having been to wineries in villages like Hammondsport, and other spots in the Finger Lakes, Im unquestionably impressed by Keuka Kafe. This is the very ultimate of Manhattan style in Forest Hills. The wine flights are samplings that Id recommend. Those photos that show how appetizing the offerings could easily substitute a thousand words. Two concerns, though: a) Add beer selections like Ithaca Brewing Company, Binghamton Brewing or Southern Tier Beer to the menu, and b) Could make more generally affordable selections on specific, less traffic, nights of the week.

    A true gem on Queen Blvd, came with low expectations and was happily surprised with great service, an experienced and super friendly bartender and a delicious cheese and meat plate. Already planning on coming back to try the rest of the menu. Definitely worth a try!

    Wonderful cozy neighborhood bar with table service and a well thought out beer & wine list. We enjoy their sandwiches, soups, and the best Watermelon Salad in New York. Lunch and dinner there are always a pleasure.

    Lovely quaint bar with six tables, and 5 hi top seats at the counter. Excellent choices of Finger Lake wines coupled with a decent Ipa and Pilsner beer menu.Food was served promptly, tasty,and with favorable presentation.Wait staff was very pleasant.

    Amazing wine bar on Queens Boulevard that serves an amazing Crab N Avocado app. The owner is very personable, sweet and gives great recommendations.With a check in, you get a free glass of wine with every appetizer you order.And depending on availability, the owner might do you a solid and give you an amazing glass!We ordered 4 apps, got a bottle of this amazing Leva 2010 Muscat-Chardonnay Blend. The white wine was fruity, light, juicy and perfect with cheeses.Then we ordered mussels, bruschetta trio, Mediterranean plate, and Crab and Avocado.The garlic white sauce for the mussels was great!And that crab and avocado dip came with crispy bread. So creamy, and so many chunks of crab meat! Delicious.
