    I came in September with my family and LOVED the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. I came back now on October and it’s the same as I remembered it. Loved the taste. The size of the plate is huge! I usually share but it was so good I ate almost all of it

    This was some very delicious Italian food. The pappardelle bolognese was well cooked and light in flavor. The pesto gnocchi was fantastic and the lobster ravioli was our favorite thing. This would be a regular spot if we lived here. Homemade bread to start the meal was also good. Fine prices for what you get. Big portion sizes! We shared three pasta dishes and were stuffed. 12/10.

    Very busy place which is a good sign that it had good food. Spaghetti with chicken parmigiana was good. Burrata starter was delicious. Carbonara was a bummer without the egg yolk experience. Servers seem overwhelmed with how busy they were on a weekend.

    Best Italian food in Little Italy. We travel from Chicago about 6 times a year and it’s a must to come eat here a few times during our visit: try their lobster ravioli!!!! It’s AMAZING. The service - impeccable too. We love our server Renaldo. He is very gracious and fast.

    I go up to the city a few times a year from Maryland. I always go to the same Italian restaurant every time I go. Every. Time. Today we decided to try something different. I was looking for a dog friendly restaurant (I figured I would have to dine outside) but was pleased way beyond my expectations. Not only did they not require us to eat outside, the lady escorted us inside the restaurant and treated our pooch like the princess she is. Dinner was delicious! This is my new restaurant. There are no other restaurants in the city 😘

    Lovely place in little Italy. Especially the middle aged woman was so friendly and welcoming. In the beginning, I didn’t know where to eat in the area . She asked friendly- but not pushing too hard- if I want to eat here and where to sit. Service was great, food was beyond. Strong recommendation for this place

    Picked La Bella Vita as we walked by in Little Italy and read the reviews. Did not disappoint!! Great spot, service and meals. Had the special ravioli and family tried bolognese and vodka sauce pasta dishes. Outstanding!!

    It was raining and we ran in to have a snack and keep warm. Pizza is not the best and carbonara is not either. I didnt like the pizza dough, the margarita was ordinary, and the 4 cheeses were very salty. The service is excellent, the staff is pleasant. Serving dishes for 35 minutes. Expensive, the taste of the food is average. I would not recommend it.

    I had the pasta with meatballs…I finished most of it lol before the picture was taken but you kinda get an idea of what you get. But just so you know the food was really good and the service was on point! It’s a wonderful place and I’m glad they found us a seat right away.

    Bella Vita is located next to about 30 other Italian restaurants that are probably also quite good, and I only ended up here because my friends had come here before and said it was good. It was very easy to get a seat on a Friday evening, and we sat outside next to the road.I ordered a shrimp scampi, which ended up being quite good! The portion size was very healthy and there was a good amount of shrimp. Its one of the better shrimp scampis that Ive eaten.Overall a good Italian spot thats reasonably priced and a place that Id definitely recommend.

    Service was AMAZING! The hostess sat us down very quickly with so much kindness after another restaurant rejected us. All the boys coming in and out were also so nice too. The food was DELICIOUS. I will definitely be coming back for the food and the service.

    During a chaotic day out, we were fortunate enough to be greeted by a young gentleman, showing us a menu before we could even decide where to eat. At that moment, he was just what we needed. When we received our food, we were extremely pleased beyond words. The staff was on top of it as well! Will be coming back.

    The owner and staff are so nice. We keep coming back. We’ve gotten free deserts and grown closer as a friend group here. The food is beyond amazing, and so much variety from pasta to salad to pizza, it’s the perfect Italian place. Overall it is my favorite spot in nyc. It feels like home.

    Based on other good reviews here on Google maps, we decided to eat here. We were pleasantly surprised and had a delightful evening meal here. The service was absolutely amazing and the food was positively perfect. We will definitely come back on our next trip to New York City.The hostess is Maryory, She was so sweet and welcoming!

    So many options to choose from in little Italy, but so glad we landed here. Ordered the antipasto, cannoli and some drinks. The service team, especially Renaldo, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ate outside in Nov and the heater and shelter made it feel like we were inside. Will visit again.

    Really good food, but it took forever to come out and we were one of only 2 tables in the restaurant. We also had to wait a while to get the check. Service was otherwise ok. The bread wasnt my favorite, though, as it was mushy, weirdly sweet, and pretty much the opposite of the bread youd expect at an Italian restaurant.

    The food was very tasty, everyone was very friendly and helpful. They help you choose Italian food, but I recommend that you follow the chefs recommendations because otherwise you will miss out on other delicious dishes. The atmosphere was very good.As soon as you sit down at the table, they bring you some delicious bread rolls, with a glass of water, they always try to ensure that you have a glass full of water.

    There are a million restaurants in little Italy, but THIS IS THE BEST. The food is HOT, authentic, and delicious. The ambiance is wonderful. We sat outside.But Brandon the host is top notch. Totally recommend the linguini frutti de la mare and the carbonar.We went to other restaurants on different days and this was our last day. Had we known we would’ve not wasted our money elsewhere.This was worth it.

    This beautiful Italian restaurant off Mulberry st in NYC, has some of the best Gnocchi I have had. The sauce had so much flavor and love cooked in. While this restaurant might be in the middle of the bustling city, they seem to have kept their family owned vibe all 27 years they have been open. The service was the best ive seen. They greeted me with a smile and didnt judge me for being alone. Within less that 5 minutes after seating me I had a glass of wine and bread with olive oil. Less than 10 minutes later the Gnocchi Napolitano was placed in front of me. I then received a glass of wine on the house. These lovely people are the wonderful staff that took lovely care of me.It has been a while since I have had amazing Italian food and sauce! These smiling faces made the whole experience even better

    Amazingly extraordinary experience. The service was great, tha atmosphere exceptional and the food world class.     La Bella Vita, beautiful life. Italians really know their food. This place had very good food actually my daughter ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, I’m not really a big fan but that was in my 57 years THE best I have ever tasted. I ordered the linguini de fruti di mare it was also very good. Of course like you would imagine everything is over priced a $10-15 bottle of wine $49 but hey when am I going back to Little Italy in manhattan? I can’t tell you so go for it splurge and enjoy the food atmosphere and wine here at La Bella Vita we really enjoyed the time spent here with the familia. Ciao amicos!

    Food was great! Pasta cooked to perfection and servers were nice. I only have tiny complaint, the bill came out a little more than I expected. We had two drinks, two pastas from lunch menu and two coffees (coffee was low price and good quality). I expected the bill to be around $60-65 but it was I think $85. Not a big deal but it’s definitely one of the priciest meals I have had on a random day lol.

    What a lovely evening in Italy! Their house red is one of the best house refs I’ve ever had. As someone who makes their own sauce weekly, this red sauce impressed! My mom and I had a great time and the staff was so nice to let us spend time, chat, and enjoy. The salad was so fresh too with great dressing, and is big enough to share—all the portions were very generous.

    Greeted outside with a 😁 on a chilly winter ❄️ evening!! Seated immediately and order taken within 2 minutes. We had one of 👨‍🍳 chefs specials (seafood risotto) 😋 very tasty dish.     Looking for a traditional NYC Italian Restaurant? La Bella Vita does not disappoint. Located in the heart of Little Italy on Mulberry, it might take a moment to locate the Restaurant. Like many places on Mulberry, the parking along the curb adds additional seats for folks wanting to eat outside.My wife ordered the Seafood Pasta Diavolo and I chose the Chicken Picata.The seafood was good, but a little over the top with the shells that was more about presentation than substance. The pasta and spices were great, low to medium heat on the Scoville scale. This dish looks too much, a lot going on, but definately is well prepared.I ordered Chicken Picata . La Bella Vitas Picata dishes rates up there with the best Italian food restaurants Ive visited over the years. The lemon butter sauce was not too tart as you will get at some places that add the lemon juice in too early.I wish I could have tried more dishes, but I was in NYC for only a short time. If Im back in Manhattan, I will revisit La Bella Vita. It seems it is still turning out authentic Italian dishes.

    Lesser known gem in New Yorks Little Italy.We had an amazing lunch here today during the last day of San Genaro festival, an afternoon filled with people, noises and food. I hadnt expected a pizza to taste this good in a restaurant outside of Roma but it did! The wait staff is very attentive, the atmosphere is nice (although today was very loud), the bathroom was clean and we enjoyed ourselves.Will definitely return on an off-season day.

    Delicious food. I had the spaghetti agli e olio and my wife had the penne a la vodka. I would give the place a 5 star for the food, but it’s not something I give lightly. There are a few areas for improvement (having a choice of pasta apparent on the menu for instance)The service was off the hook. Ronaldo was an immense help with the area, giving us the finer points for areas we could also visit in Little Italy. We will be sure to come back to visit La Belle Vita in our next visit to NYC! I don’t understand the reviews on here, the Penne Alla Vodka was gorgeous. I had it again in New York twice after, but it did not taste the same and I was gutted. Would definitely come back again.
