I have lived on the Upper East Side for nearly ten years now and can say with my whole heart that La Bomboniera is my favorite place in the neighborhood. It is so cozy and welcoming, and a perfect place to either sit by yourself to read and work or to bring your friends to catch up. But what makes this spot so wonderful is the incredibly kind, wonderful humans who work there. Every time I go, getting to catch up with them is the absolute highlight of my day. We are all especially lucky to have Rozanna and Livvy brightening our lives. I adore this lovely spot so much that I can barely remember a time when it wasnt here — it feels like a happy little home.

Met a friend for afternoon coffee, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well apportioned, and wasnt loud. The serving staff were polite and discreet. And, as an establishments bathroom is often a sign of their overall cleanliness and efficiency, Id say their bathroom was clean and well maintained. I was a little disappointed they didnt have 2% milk and I had to use whole milk, but that wasnt a deal breaker. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

I stumbled upon La Bomboniera and it was such a nice surprise to have found this little gem!They have a little terrace outside to sit, relax and good for people watching.The inside is also very cosy and charming with its bistro chairs and tables, the Italian pop music playing in the background.The waitress Rozanna is amazing - her service is impeccable, she placed a menu and a bottle and glass of water as soon as I sat down, so there is no wait and you immediately feel welcomed 😊.At La Bomboniera, you have everything you need right away - sugar, napkin, spoon, fork, etc. which I often find missing in other places where you have to ask for sugar or a spoon, etc. The cappuccino, expresso coffee, bombolini and paninis are delicious, it feels as if you are transported in Italy 🥰😍!

I did not have food here as I happened to eat a bit before but I came to work in the cafe with a friend. The staff was amazing as they helped me order a bottle of wine 🍷. I had the Lambrusco, which surprised me, it was soooo good I’ll probably come back again to get it just because. They checked on us every so often, it wasn’t too much & it wasn’t too little. While we were there, they happened to be fixing their A/C so that was kinda crazy. Also their wifi only works for an hour it seems, there was a note on the menu asking to limit laptop use to only one hour so I’m just assuming that’s what happened. Anyway, I love it here, I’ll be back soon

We walked near this cafe and, after reading very good reviews about this place, decided to eat there. This is a very cozy cafe in European style. Italian music is played here.
