This is a great a place, local with tons of people. If youre out of town this is a good local place to visit, go downstairs, theres a live dj the vibe changes completely then tthe upstairs. I had fun in good company. Have some cash on you in case you need it at the entranceHave fun rookies !

LOVE this place. I came right at 5pm when they open and got a seat at the bar (always my fave spot when dining solo). Staff was wonderful, food and cocktails were amazing, and the ambiance is fantastic. This will be a huge hit in the neighborhood. Hopefully, I will be able to sneak in and grab a seat at the bar.

French inspired dive bar (as the name would suggest). Its tight and cozy. Bar service is competent. The food is the real show stopper here, kinda unexpected. Its all great, people really love the Steak Frites, and the burger kills, but the salads really put out. Pea shoots folks! Its kinda like you hit up a really good neighborhood brasserie in a small French town. Try the radishes and butter 🧈!

Very cute night cap spot. The bartender tonight (we are writing this live from the bar) is extremely hot and charming, had cute curly hair, great biceps and a wild back arch when he leans over. Would recommend 100%

Le Dive has great ambience and I like some of the food options. I definitely prefer upstairs to downstairs. My only grievance is the amount of times the staff comes around to check your plate/progress. There’d be a rotation of like 3 people coming to check our table three times in under 10 minutes. I understand the limited seating, but it really made me feel like leaving sooner than I wanted to.

Who knew there was such a cute, authentic little French bistro right in the heart of LES. If you play your cards right sitting outside in the sun is the rockstar move. Sit side by side and watch the world go past.I didn’t capture much of what we ate but it was all delicious. Pork Rillette, mushroom pate, Niçoise salad and fries. All were wonderful each with their own little special something.Add in a couple of glasses of rose and we managed to extend a summer afternoon in Cannes into a moment in November in NYC if just for a day

This place has the best vibes. You can sit for hours, sipping wine or a martini and having a cigarette. The people watching is fantastic and the staff is attentive yet chill and never makes you feel rushed. The fries are consistently delicious and the plate of olives is 10/10. Had the most delicious dinner here with colleagues. Fantastic martinis and excellent oysters. The falafel and prawns were delectable, as was the chicken. I cannot wait to return with friends and family!

They got the French bar a vins down pat with the fashionably horrendous service and tables on top of one another. The place was only barely redeemed by their earlier opening time than other area natural wine bars, they actually have some decent wines, and they have an outdoor heater. Not really their fault, yet it kind of is, inasamuch as they dont advocate/involve themselves in beautification efforts, but theres so much trash and grime all around.

Food overall was quite good for a french bistro. Our favorites were the mushroom pate, pork rillettes, brandade and steak frites. Our wines by the glass seemed to taste a bit watered down though. Not sure if we just made poor choice of wines that were offered by the glass.

Vibrant, two level bar at the epicenter of Chinatown’s Dimes Square. The service and snacks are surprisingly lovely. Le Dive may be trying to give off Parisian vibes, but the overall scene could only be in downtown NYC: cramped tables, beautiful people, and a loud, four-to-the-floor soundtrack.

Ordered the steak frites for $34 and it was a terribly small portion. Flavor was lackluster. I only ordered it bc I wanted to go to forgetaboutit but it was craaaaaazy packed. It’s $17 at their location and also looked like it had chimichurri. Service and atmosphere are great but I think I would have been more satisfied with a charcuterie board. If you do go don’t get the steak frites bc it didn’t taste like $34 and came with a pathetic salad.

My first visit to Le Dive was a 10/10 and I cant wait to come back. Every dish was perfectly executed and the natural, primarily old world wine list extremely fun to peruse through and sample. This is the perfect NYC restaurant. Stand-out food, unfussy but attentive service, and casual-yet-romantic ambience.

Le Dive is the kind of restaurant and watering hole that would never survive anywhere but a top 10 world city. Its in some ways unremarkable, except that it does what it does really well. The perfect spot to hang out drinking a martini waiting for your date to arrive. Get the artichokes.

Popped in without a reservation to have a drink at the bar around 4 on a Friday. Greeted and seated promptly! I had a martini (very good) and they brought out complimentary chips, bread, and olives for happy hour. Friendly service. Bar chairs are a bit uncomfortable for shorties like me (4’10”), and that’s a very personal opinion, so next time I might opt for a table reservation instead of grabbing a spot at the bar. :)
