Cozy, dimly lit wine bar that is inviting. Prices for happy hour are very reasonable, a bottle of red wine costing $44. For nibbles we tried the goat and double cream cow cheese that came with a homemade apricot jam and spicy chutney - both which were very good. We sat at the bar in front of where they were prepping ingredients so got some marcona almonds and a spoonful of their delicious chocolate mousse. Would definitely come back.

Cozy Wine Bar with Stellar ServiceI had a delightful experience at Lelabar, a charming little wine bar. The ambiance was warm and inviting. But what truly stole the show was our waitress, Sarah.Sarah was attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing. She helped us navigate the extensive wine list, offering thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences. Her passion for wine was infectious, and she made the entire experience even more enjoyable.We ended up trying a delicious orange wine that Sarah recommended, and it paired perfectly with the cheese plate we ordered. The selection of cheeses was impressive, and the accompaniments (artisan bread) were all top-notch.The wine selection is excellent, the food is delicious, and the service is truly outstanding. And if youre lucky enough to be served by Sarah, youre in for a real treat!

Amazing food and service. Met my bestie for some bites and drinks after work. Our bartender (short dark hair, glasses) was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She was energetic and gave the best recommendations. Even tried an orange wine (who knew!?) that complimented our shrimps and cheese. Yummy in my tummy. 100% recommend.

Lelabar gets it right across the board - from their stellar selection of wines to their curated list of cheese, charcuterie and menu of small bites to their beautifully designed and inviting space. The staff is warm and welcoming - they are extremely knowledgeable about their wines and will always ensure that you are drinking exactly what you’re in the mood for. They have outdoor seating in the summer, and I love sitting with a glass of orange, a fennel salad and noshing on their dangerously delicious bread. This is not only my local but go-to bar for all occasions!

A cozy spot to enjoy a vast array of wines alongside a selection of meats, cheeses, and small plates. Happy hour was packed, but still managed to find a seat with a little patience. Great choices by the glass, but if you want to be adventurous you can get one of the 700 bottles from the list. Also, most bottles can be opened if you commit to 2 glasses. And despite being busy, the staff was all very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Cool wine bar with a wide selection of wines but they need staff who do a better job characterizing and selling their wines - we had someone basically convince us that wine they had wasn’t even worth tasting which confused us. Outdoor vibes are great when the weather is warmer but they’re extremely limited so come early. They have a live jazz band on evenings which is cool!

Love this place! Stumbled upon here while looking up wine bars in the area. The place is small and cozy, and set up in a circle (can see how this can get crowded during peak hours). There is an extensive wine menu and great little apps to pick at. Had the burrata and olives and it was perfect! Will definitely be back to check out their happy hour, they have great specials!

Met up with a friend here last night and think I might have found my new favorite wine bar. The atmosphere is so fun and energetic and with a reservation (since its really hot in NYC right now) you can sit inside by the bar and enjoy the AC. To this end, do think they might need to get the AC cranked higher because it did get hot at the bar. The happy hour ends at 6P so get there early to partake of a good assortment of wine and snacks. Heres where I think they really provide a great experience. Their cheese and meat plates are perfectly curated. Lelabar - Give the man putting them together a promotion. Not only was he the friendliest person in there, he clearly is an artist. ⭐️ The only reason I gave a 4 on service was because it did take quite a while to get the bartenders attention initially (and it was crowded so understandable) but then he was lovely throughout. Great time. Will be back!

I had an outstanding experience at Lelabar! With nearly 800 different wines, their selection is truly impressive. Each wine I was suggested was right to the point. I was here over a year ago on trip to NY. They now have a full kitchen, and the creative, delicious small plates complemented the wine perfectly. Its a very busy spot with a great ambiance, and the knowledgeable and friendly staff made my visit a five-star experience all the way.

If you get to Lelabar, ask for the full wine menu. With 800 different wines, theres something for everyone, from the casual drinker to the most serious wine lover, including many gems. The small plates pair wonderfully with the wines. We had the Spanish charcuterie board, cherry salad, fantastic cheese board, and the meatball sandwich. Great atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Five stars! See you again very soon.

Happening location in the West Village on Hudson Street, my first visit and it was a busy Friday night, beautiful weather. The hostess/waitress worked to find us a table as soon as was possible and we got a nice spot on the sidewalk. Just had one glass of vermintino on this visit. I will say that I was expecting even a little bit more generous of a pour. I think it may have been a standard sized pour because my friend and I were served identical amounts. It wasn’t the most expensive wine at $14 but I would like more than three sips.

That said, the wine seems like maybe the bottle has been open a day or two and many of the wine options are expensive. Like $25 to $50 a glass. I would say go, have a glass of wine or two and some cheese, but its probably not something to plan your whole evening around.

We had an outstanding California cabernet. Had a great white on a prior visit. Didn’t get a chance to try to their food menu, which seems to have a broad range of offerings. Had a number of servings of their charcuterie, which was OK, but my sense is are not worth the price. A few very small pieces of cheese and very thing slices of salami with big chunks of bread. I was there a few times as a guest, so cannot comment on the prices. A great place to spend a few hours

Amazing date place or chill place to get a glass of wine. Great selection of white, red and orange wines with great bites as well. This place is ideal because the neighborhood is rather quiet and doesn’t get crowded like many other winebars in the area. Several times I’ve been there they’ve had a special where if you can guess the region and type of wine you can get a glass for free. Highly recommended.

This was a find! Amazing selection of wines and great snacks. Get the cheese and meat platter. The staff here is really knowledgeable and they will pair your snacks with the wine should you wish so. I liked the round bar setting because you get to see barmen work their magic and you can easily strike up a chat with them. Not suitable for groups larger than 4 because youd have a hard time talking and the space is limited around the bar. This is truly a West Village gem and its perfect for a romantic night out.
