What an amazing hidden gem. The amazing high ceilings with an ambient vibe that oozes sensuality. The amazing friendly staff coupled with a steak cooked to perfection. This is a classy place. Well done Pensilvania 6 - a steak restaurant done right

  • Review 2 (2024-05-18 - Rating: 5)

A huge thank you to the owner and team for handling my disability and ensuring I’d have a place to sit when there were no more seats. Food is also delicious. I would recommend the Knickerbocker for sure! The bartender (I wish I got his name) noted that there were extra charges on our receipt before he even gave it to us and got it resolved asap. You guys are awesome!

I came here for the first time today and I have to say bravo to this restaurant. I was not only warmly greeted by the hostess, but she made sure that she checked my vaccination card and ID before I was seated. My waitress Brianna was friendly and attentive and the restaurant itself was very clean. I ordered the Cajun Salmon which was absolutely delicious. My Mai Tai gave me life. I will so definitely be back again!

  • Review 4 (2024-10-01 - Rating: 5)

Very fun place to watch a Bills game! Good game day specials, especially if you’re with a big group. $40/person min at a table. Highly recommend reservations if you want to sit to watch the game. Very crowded on game days.

Penn 6 has a good atmosphere in a great location! They have an amazing brunch deal. So, if you enjoy bottomless brunch, then this is the place to go. It is definitely a more sporty, chill vibe than a party vibe. So if that is what you want for brunch, this is not the place to go. But, if you want to catch up with friends and chill at a lowkey place with delightful food and drinks, then this is the spot. La croqué madame est magnifique !

  • Review 6 (2024-01-07 - Rating: 5)

Really cute spot and that’s next to a more crowded brunch spot but honestly the food here was better, it was less crowded, and I didn’t have to wait on line outside for a seat. The brunch pizza without potatoes was super delish along with the chicken breakfast sandwich and the cornbread. I’ll definitely be back.

  • Review 7 (2022-07-30 - Rating: 4)

Very loud and slow service. The place is juge and was only about 1 third full and was very loud. We ordered and waited quite a while. That being said the food was good and we were able to enjoy our meal. Avoid this place if you do not like loud noise. Also quite expensive but probably worth it.

  • Review 8 (2024-12-15 - Rating: 5)

One of the best ribeyes my eyes have ever seen. Warm atmosphere and a really cool spot. I give it 6 out of 5 stars.

  • Review 9 (2024-07-19 - Rating: 5)

This is a go-to place for me for work lunches. Great variety on the menu and everything is good. Highly recommend the shishito peppers and tuna sashimi salad. Solid wine selection and the martinis are excellent if looking for a happy hour spot. Service can be a bit slow during lunch, which I chalk up to them not having as much staff as they used to during the day. But Penn6 will continue to be a staple.

  • Review 10 (2018-09-19 - Rating: 4)

Gorgeous, yet pricey midtown Manhattan bar and restaurant. Cant lie though, food was delicious & drinks were on point. Our crew of 9 ordered:A tower of oysters (everyone said they were great)The burger (good)The lobster roll (great but not as filling as it should be)The short rib pappardelle (amazing. Mutiple people had bites of my pasta and I still left full and smiling)The sliders (solid)The lamb chops (devoured in seconds. Couldve used an extra chop tho)Our original bartender was great. Shout out to Cara. When she left, this nervous looking guy (didnt get his name) took over serving us for the most part (altho all bartenders will get you drinks). He was cool tho and seemed less anxious once we started talking about the Yankees. Shout out to him for not making a fuss about taking the creme brulee off the bill (my Yelp check in got me a free dessert).I dont go to many midtown spots near MSG with prices like this, but I gotta give props when the food is good and the drinks are tight. I might be back for a Knicks pregame session

  • Review 11 (2024-10-14 - Rating: 5)

Went to this place on a whim with a few co-workers and we absolutely loved it! The bartender (I believe her name was Annie) was one of the sweetest, friendliest people I’ve ever met and the food was great. Not pictured here, but we got a flight of five different dips with our fries, and we loved each option more than the last.Would absolutely recommend and will go back next time I’m in town.

  • Review 12 (2024-09-18 - Rating: 5)

I went there with a bunch of friends to watch the Buffalo Bill’s vs Cardinals football game. This is the Bills backers bar in Manhattan. The atmosphere was total Buffalo which made the game super enjoyable. The server was very friendly and attentive. The wings were good and they had Buffalo beers and other Buffalo food. It’s a definite stop if you are on this super town and eager to watch the Bills on game day.

  • Review 13 (2022-05-01 - Rating: 4)

Brunch was good, service friendly, steak and potatoes had little flavoring, but not a deal breaker

  • Review 14 (2021-10-31 - Rating: 5)

This is a great boozy brunch spot! The music is pretty loud, so I would recommend drink cocktails first and enjoy the vibe.

  • Review 15 (2019-02-10 - Rating: 5)

I love a good chicken waffle and this place has it. My friend and I got the bottomless mimosas for 2 hours. We got our monies worth and then some. Our server read out minds every time she came around and she was super professional and amazing. I walked in and just attentive and attention to detail of the serving staff and cooking staff. Great place to go for brunch with your boys, girlfriends or besties. I really enjoyed my meal that I wish didnt end. Nice juicy fried chicken and tasty waffles with cream. Another wonderful NYC gem. I would totally go here again.

  • Review 16 (2019-04-22 - Rating: 5)

Well, we just wanted something good near the hotel and found this restaurant , one of the best burgers that we ordered, the pizza for the kids was magnificent and the entire was some delicious, good place to visit

  • Review 17 (2019-05-26 - Rating: 5)

The restaurant nextdoor seemed more appealing because of the reviews, but there was a line and it was extremely noisy. So, I popped into Freidmans that was much more tranquil wihere I was greeted by a friendly hostess who sat me in the coziest corner with an outlet to charge my phone. The waitress brought me a Belini sample because I asked her what it was even though I didnt ask for a sample. How thoughtful! The eggs in purgatory were divine! Perfect portion, each bite was an experience and highest quality ingredients. Im definitely coming back here with family and friends. Compliments to the chef and staff!

  • Review 18 (2021-07-24 - Rating: 4)

I’ve come here a few times for drinks and snacks. I usually sit outside, but given different temperatures and Weathers I’ve also started to sit inside now during Covid. They’ve done a good job of keeping tables separate. I also usually request quieter tables and they are able to comply. They have a lot of seating, a large amount of space at the bar and lots of smaller tables in two very large rooms. The wait staff usually knows what specials they have for the day and are very friendly and helpful. I usually think of this as an upscale bar with good service.I’ve tried the tacos as well as the I’ll have another cocktail and the Manhattan 36. I also really like the Tuna sashimi on avocado which is really good and I would recommend getting that every time. I don’t really recommend a lot of the vegetarian dishes except perhaps for the elote. The cauliflower is deep fried and over sweet but I did like the shishito peppers.Ill be back for sure, its one of the better spots near Penn Station.

  • Review 19 (2021-08-08 - Rating: 5)

Very good brunch! Food and service was amazing!!

  • Review 20 (2018-04-19 - Rating: 4)

I have to say its a nice placeWhat stands out the most is the service. The Tomahawk steak is a great piece to share, or keep it for yourself!

  • Review 21 (2020-01-21 - Rating: 5)

Such a good brunch! For 32 dollars you get unlimited mimosas/bloody Marys/bellinis for two hours AND a entree from their brunch menu. I think this is a great deal for New York City. They also have a raw bar with different menu options. Strongly recommend it. It was delicious and it prolonged the food which made it so easy to definitely get our moneys worth with the drinks!Delicious! Would definitely recommend it and would absolutely go again!

  • Review 22 (2024-02-05 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic brunch! The avocado toast with sunny side up eggs was perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful, as was the accompanying side salad. The service was friendly and attentive, and they were able to store our luggage in their coat room. Add in great background music (but not too loud) plus a variety of (muted) sports on the big screens, and it was a wonderful brunch. Highly recommended!

  • Review 23 (2024-10-27 - Rating: 5)

Really nice space and atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming and kind including the manager/owner!

  • Review 24 (2024-12-28 - Rating: 5)

The food at Pennsylvania6 was absolutely fantastic! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The variety on the menu catered to all tastes, and the presentation was impeccable. The service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable meal!

Really nice american restaurant where you can have typical food.the staff is very nice and helpful. the price is a bit high but it’s worth it.the food is great and the choice is pretty wide.

  • Review 29 (2022-05-08 - Rating: 5)

Really nice and chill environment!Brunch was delicious and they gave out a free mimosa for Mother’s Day which was really sweet !

  • Review 30 (2022-07-26 - Rating: 5)

They helped me host a benefit. It was a huge success and the staff were accommodating even with last minute requests. Def recommend this place and the food is great!

  • Review 31 (2024-03-02 - Rating: 5)

I promise this restaurant at Bottomless Brunch is EXCELLENT. But, above all, the waitress MEL is exceptional. I did my doctoral thesis on the profession of waitressing and this wonderful woman is one of the best waitresses I have ever met. Thank you for making my friend’s 50th birthday one of the best moments of our trip! Marie-Ève

  • Review 32 (2023-10-16 - Rating: 5)

Great ambiance. I had the buffalo cauliflower for an appetizer and the lobster roll. Delicious! Even though the bar and the dining area were separate, it was not loud. I will return to this establishment.

  • Review 33 (2023-11-19 - Rating: 5)

BUFFALO BILLS FANS our group went last year for the December game vs Miami… service was pretty lousy, prices are pretty high but we had a hell of a great time!!! The atmosphere was top tier! We almost felt like we were back home in Buffalo.Be sure to make reservations well in advance and they usually have all included deals per table. We did an unlimited beer and wing deal. Had to be on the waitress or we weren’t going to get anything but again the atmosphere made up for it all.GO BILLS!!

  • Review 34 (2023-10-07 - Rating: 5)

Melanie was our server and was awesome. She was very attentive and very accommodating for my mom who has celiac disease. My mom always gets nervous ordering at places but Melanie made it a point to make sure she was as comfortable as possible and had nothing to worry about. Definitely recommend if you’re gluten intolerant or celiac!

  • Review 35 (2024-01-08 - Rating: 5)

Visiting the city from Buffalo & wow what an incredible experience!! They have their system down!! The Staff were outrageously amazing!! Fun, helpful, just great people!! Food was awesome!! DJ was kickin!! Best BILLS backers bar! In the City!!! Can’t wait to come back!! Go BILLS!!!

  • Review 36 (2021-08-03 - Rating: 5)

Came here for a birthday brunch. The food was great along with the drink. The location is perfect, the staff were very nice, and place was clean, beautifully decorated, and they had awesome music. It’s 38 dollars for unlimited drinks for 2 hours and an entree which I think is great. Our waitress Emily was an absolute pleasure. She was always around and very helpful. We were a big crowd and not once was she annoyed with how loud we were or how we constantly called her over. Will definitely be coming again.

  • Review 37 (2022-07-02 - Rating: 5)

Excuse the silly photo but it was the only one I took. My husband and I came here over a year ago so my review has a bit of a delay. The environment was great! Food & drinks were awesome as well. We had a chance to meet the owner (whose name I forget). He was very kind and personable and gave us a card for a free drink next time we are in town. We are in town again but just for the night and it made me think of this spot and the wonderful service we had. The owner really made out experience great. Thanks!!!

  • Review 38 (2022-12-06 - Rating: 4)

Came here for Bottomless Brunch, Place did not disappoint. Food was great a lot of different options for under $20 and even with bottomless it wasn’t too expensive. Highly recommend for large groups.

  • Review 39 (2023-11-12 - Rating: 5)

Happy with this place as the home of the Rutgers games for alumni. Good food and decent specials. Outside of the specials the beers I had at regular price were super expensive so watch out for that.

  • Review 40 (2022-11-21 - Rating: 5)

I went to Penn 6 for the Bills game (since they are the new Buffalo Bills center for NYC) and had a great time! I would recommend reservations even thought the policy is strict because the bar does get super crowded at game time. The food was really very good and the game menu was reasonably priced. If you are not a big drinker or dont care for wings, I would recommend the a la carte menu. They had a DJ to play during the commercials, but the game came through loud and clear. Lastly our server (Melanie M) was the best. She took amazing care of us the whole game, even through the madness. I am definitely going back!

  • Review 41 (2022-11-22 - Rating: 5)

Pennsylvania 6 has been a long time great go to spot in the Penn Station area for a sophisticated drink or a great meal. The Penn Station surrounding area has longed lacked higher end establishments but this place is one of them within the area. I couldnt recommend Penn 6 highly enough, have spent many meals here with clients and co-workers over the years!

  • Review 42 (2023-07-08 - Rating: 5)

Food is amazing and the staff was perfect! The manager, Karrah, was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be coming back hungry for more. The only downside was that my stomach wasn’t big enough to try everything they had on the menu!

  • Review 43 (2022-07-09 - Rating: 5)

I’m giving it a five star because of the waitress Mel, she was wonderful and very informative! I went with my girlfriends on our weekend getaway! The French Toast was good and the eggs with cheese was good! The service was impeccable and I do recommend this restaurant! This was expensive!

  • Review 44 (2020-09-06 - Rating: 5)

There brunch is amazing!! I did it twice and it was even better the second time. Emily is the best server, period!! So accommodating and sweet, and the food/drinks was fantastic for the price!! The brunch pizza is better than expected and you dont feel gross or fat after eating it, highly recommend. I love this place, and will make this place a regular for me!

  • Review 45 (2022-04-02 - Rating: 5)

First time here, great experience. Food was delicious. Tried fries, chips, penne burger, and chicken sandwich, portions were generous and tasty. Host and waitresses were above and beyond. Restaurant decor was nice. Tables and restrooms were clean. Traveling with luggage, I was able to enjoy my meal since there were the option of holding my luggage. I recommend this place.

  • Review 46 (2024-02-25 - Rating: 5)

I have to say, the food was amazing, the drinks plentiful, and the waitress (Alaska) was probably the most beautiful and sweetest person I’ve ever encountered. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!

  • Review 47 (2018-01-13 - Rating: 5)

Very nice for brunch! Friendly staff and very good food. They have a nice raw bar and a great ambient.

  • Review 48 (2022-03-31 - Rating: 4)

Been here twice: once for my sons 7th birthday (they were very accommodating and helped me plan it without any additional cost except for the cake cutting) and a few weeks later with my Mom and son for brunch. Great food and drinks, nice atmosphere with different types of people and age groups. Lively but not loud. However the wait staff sometimes disappears on you. Their buffalo Mac and cheese is soooo good.

  • Review 49 (2021-08-28 - Rating: 5)

I planned my birthday party here and it was PHENOMENAL!! Personalized menus, decorations and 38$ Bottomless brunch! Our server Emily was so kind and accommodating. I couldn’t be happier this is a great place!! The food was also incredible I couldn’t have imagined a better spot to celebrate!AND THEY BROUGHT OUT BIRTHDAY SPARKLERS!!!

  • Review 50 (2022-06-19 - Rating: 4)

Brunch is always solid here as is the service. Ive been here 2x. The second time we had the bottomless brunch. Our server definitely kept checking in on us and refilling without is having to flag her down. She was awesome. We both wanted food options that were more than the listed $18, so we just paid the difference which was great. Its a good deal for $40. (You get bottomless drinks for 2 hours and it includes 1 meal for $18 or less- but like i said before if yiu want something thats more expensive you just pay the difference). I like that its walking distance from Penn Station, so it was easy for me to meet someone in the city then easily hop back on the train to go home.

  • Review 51 (2023-10-14 - Rating: 5)

Nice place for brunch, just steps away from Penn Station. Convenient place to meet for some food and drinks before venturing around NYC.Note that this place is a college football bar (Rutgers, USC) so it gets very loud on game days. Still a fun atmosphere.Croque Madame was a filling and delicious dish, with the sandwich smothered with cheese and topped with a sunny side-up egg. The salad on the side provided a nice, fresh contrast.

  • Review 52 (2017-10-02 - Rating: 5)

Great drinks!! Friendly bar staff, Stefan was very tentative and always checked in to make sure we were doing well. Truffle pizza is really good, just make sure you add some caramelized onions or shallots as it needs some sweetness to it! Overall good spot and quick visit for us but would go again for sure!! Want to explore the rest of the menu!

  • Review 53 (2023-02-11 - Rating: 5)

Great place to watch a game and the quality of food was surprising! Wasnt expecting that at all but looks are deceiving. Had such a fun Sunday there during the football game and met so many nice people.

  • Review 54 (2018-07-12 - Rating: 4)

This restaurant and bar has very good food for lunch (when I visited), and a good assortment of bar favorites both in food and drink. I sat at the bar and had appetizers and a salad for lunch and enjoyed both. The food came out quite fast, and the service was attentive and courteous. Two comments on the atmosphere: it is pretty dark inside, which at night would be peachy, but at noon it seemed like overkill; they had TVs broadcasting a World Cup game with the volume cranked up high enough that it would have made a quiet conversation a challenge.

  • Review 55 (2024-05-24 - Rating: 5)

Great food and service. Steaks perfectly cooked and chimicurri sauce especially delicious!

  • Review 56 (2022-06-27 - Rating: 5)

Stopped by our lunch break. Oh boy was this delicious! We ordered cajun salmon and crabcake dish (cant find it on online menu now) both were amazing. The califlower puree was divine. The crabcake was one of the best Ive ever had. The salad that came with it was incredible as well (cucumbers, avocados, and something else). Definitely worth the price. The staff was fantastic as well.

  • Review 57 (2022-10-21 - Rating: 4)

I was looking for a French Dip and they have one on the menu. Simple criteria. But I discovered when I walked in the door that it was also a Buffalo Bills bar! Im a Bills fan. Cool surprise. The French Dip was very good and came out really hot -- they must have just made it. Service less so. I had to flag down the server to order and ultimately to pay; didnt see him otherwise. It was fairly busy, though, so Im not unreasonable. I think I was simply seated in a weird spot out of sight (out of mind). But its a Bills bar, so Ill give it another shot when Im back in town next week.

  • Review 58 (2019-12-14 - Rating: 4)

Overall a pretty good experience at Penn6. The food was good, oysters here were great. Tripp our server was flawless and very attentive. I was there for a business meeting and it was much louder atmosphere than I expected. Also there was some confusion about my request when I made the reservation but after a short wait they got it fixed and everything turned out well.

  • Review 59 (2014-01-07 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is one of a kind, especially for the area. Think 1920s Prohibition era - and very classy. Perfect for a date or a client meeting, or even to watch the game. Somehow they simultaneously pull off all 3.Ive had the burger here as well as a few of the appetizers - all very good. What was truly unforgettable was the Blue Crab Mac and Cheese. Definitely a great experience!

  • Review 60 (2024-01-24 - Rating: 5)

I didnt eat here, but bartenders were friendly, and drinks were great. Happy coat check person was the best!

  • Review 61 (2023-10-17 - Rating: 5)

Very good food. They have lots of American food options on the menu. The brunch was very good and our server was nice

  • Review 62 (2019-06-22 - Rating: 4)

The service here is great as long as it’s not too busy. We went for the social bottomless brunch. We were able to get multiple drinks in the time limit. The peach Bellini is extremely fizzy. All drinks contain a decent amount of alcohol. As it got more crowded, drinks came slower. The reason for four stars is the food. The food is pretty good but not amazing. We got the brunch pizza, which was slightly burned on the bottom, and their breakfast of two eggs, meat, and potatoes. Overall, the price and service warrants returning to this bottomless brunch, just don’t expect gourmet food.

  • Review 63 (2017-06-01 - Rating: 4)

Surprisingly good food. The space is huge, and was entirely empty when I went for a late lunch. Despite the emptiness, the service and food were terrific actually, with a nice jazz ambiance in the background. My vegetable hot pot (which does not sound exciting Im aware) was one of the best vegetarian, and incidentally vegan dishes, Ive ever had.

  • Review 64 (2017-12-14 - Rating: 5)

Came into Pennsylvania 6 with my boyfriend for brunch after we tried to go to Friedmans but there was an hour wait. There wasnt a wait here at ~1030, in fact it was pretty dead. It did pick up around 11/1130, though. We actually ended up happy that our original plan didnt work out (no offense to Friedmans). I had the Chicken and Waffles and he had the Eggs Benedict. The Chicken and Waffles was surprisingly light (read: I didnt hate myself after I ate it). We both got bottomless coffee, but there was a bottomless booze option that was very cheap and had different drinks than your regular mimosas & bloody marys. The service was friendly, quick and attentive. The location is very convenient to Penn Station and Herald Square, but its not overpriced. We will likely be back

  • Review 65 (2018-04-21 - Rating: 5)

Brunch was fantastic. Get the Social for bottomless mimosas, Bellinis, Bloody Mary’s, Spritz, and an entree. This goes until 4 pm Saturday’s. We had a group of 10 and they got us right in. The waitress was fun and kept the drinks coming (maybe too fast?)!

  • Review 66 (2013-09-13 - Rating: 4)

Definitely a great addition to the already growing list of bars that serve a good variety of beer that happen to be close to Penn Station. Amazing TV behind the bar (if you dont like large TVs, sit at the end of the bar). Servers friendly and knowledgeable. While Im not complaining about the beer selection--it doesnt change very often, if ever. Having said that, there is something for every taste either on drought or in a bottle. The bar area is quite spacious and the room is very attractive. Never ate (except bar nibbles) but looking at the food going out, it looks quite well presented and tasty.

  • Review 67 (2019-10-15 - Rating: 5)

We found this restaurant by accident as we were wandering around New York. Excellent in every way. A nice bar and a good restaurant albeit it was at a quiet time when we ate there. The burgers we had were the best we’d had in New York City and the Merlot we drunk was also really nice. Good service and a fair price. We couldn’t have asked for more.

  • Review 68 (2024-07-07 - Rating: 5)

Delicious food! Great service and atmosphere

  • Review 69 (2018-11-06 - Rating: 4)

Second time here. I really like the dark wood and nice bar area. We came in from the rain and the waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. We both had salads and I would recommend the tuna. Soft music would be welcome instead of a constant stream of sports dribble but the experience was pleasant.

  • Review 70 (2021-05-16 - Rating: 5)

My fiancé and I went for our anniversary and so glad we did! They brought us champagne which was so nice. We had the croque madame and the eggs Benedict, both were very tasty. I was sad the Frose machine wasn’t up and running unfortunately. The music set the perfect vibe, we dined outside. Our server Nicole was great. Definitely want to visit again!

  • Review 71 (2023-12-12 - Rating: 5)

    Great food

  • Review 72 (2021-07-17 - Rating: 5)

We popped in just before the kitchen closed down so wait service was a bit sketchy however the food here is excellent. We had The Knickerbockers and chicken Caesar salad. My daughter said they were the best sliders she’d ever eaten.

  • Review 73 (2021-06-14 - Rating: 4)

Brunch pizza is top tier. Drinks are premium, especially the Frosé. Customer service is amazing. Definitely a spot to repeat.

The service from the host and from the waiter was amazing today!! Davina gave us an excellent service during our visit. My coffee and my french toast was really delicious as well as the burger. They do have the option to eat outside and they have some headers to keep you warm while you enjoy your food 👌🏽🙏🏻❄️😁

Nice place! Enjoyed the atmosphere. A plus if youre a Rutgers alumni!

  • Review 76 (2021-07-31 - Rating: 5)

Awesome bartender and amazing food! The French Dip is incredible. The bartenders knowledge of the scotch, rye and bourbon selection was second to none. This bar is an unrecognized gem in the Penn Station vicinity.

We are visiting NYC for the weekend. We followed other Georgia fans to Pennsylvania 6. The precious owner/manager put the game on the big screen and turned the sound on for us. It was such a fun time. We had a ball.

  • Review 78 (2023-09-14 - Rating: 5)

I cant say enough wonderful things about this place. We came here to watch the USC football game. The food was great, we ordered a couple of appetizers off their special game night menu. The service was incredible. The hostess was very accommodating and our server Emily was nothing less than spectacular. Our party of 4 grew to a party of 10 by the end of the night. We had so much fun.

  • Review 79 (2019-03-11 - Rating: 5)

Large restaurant and bar space in a bustling area. I would recommend making a reservation as it tends to get busy with the after work crowd. The food portions are big and worth the price, Ive visited for dinner as well and brunch are both time the meal came out perfectly. The staff has been friendly and engaging.

  • Review 80 (2019-02-09 - Rating: 4)

Excellent drinks and cocktails spot. Food is excellent and waitstaff is attentive. Oozes with atmosphere. If you want that Dagny Taggart martini off the train, this is your spot. Make a reservation.

  • Review 81 (2019-01-19 - Rating: 5)

I was in NYC for a few hours to go to a meeting. I didnt want to drag my bags around, so I used BagBNB to find a place to store them for a few hours and was directed to Pennsylvania 6. After storing my bags in a secure room I told my staff that we needed to find a place nearby with wifi and electric outlets so we could get work done before our meeting. The hostess overheard us and said we have plugs and wifi over here and directed us to a quiet area by the bar. I was surprised by how quickly she offered up her space to us and we ended up working there for about an hour and a half without any issues. After our meeting we came back to pick up our bags and despite it being significantly busier the hostess kindly and quickly got us our items. While I cant tell you about the food, I can tell you the people are great. The entrance has a small ledge to get in, but still accessible. The bathroom has an accessible stall and was easy to navigate.

  • Review 82 (2022-06-23 - Rating: 4)

Solid food and drinks. The service could’ve definitely been better for the price range/atmosphere and it was a little overpriced, but overall a surprisingly good experience for a Midtown restaurant.

  • Review 83 (2024-01-02 - Rating: 5)

I stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant before going to the phish show at MSG on NYE! I had the Filet, French fries, and French onion soup. The food was delicious and came out quick considering the holiday! So good definitely eat here !

Food was great, service was great. A little let down by the have you booked, no... then let me put you at our worst table by the toilets even though we are only 25% full experience i thought was reserved for the UK.

  • Review 85 (2019-05-23 - Rating: 5)

We came here for the luggage storage, but booked a table for our dinner. The place is really noisy, and a lot of people, but the service is promt and the food comes quite fast. By the way, did I mension the food was great? It was.

  • Review 86 (2021-07-06 - Rating: 5)

Great place and very convenient one block from Penn Station. Ambiente is good for business lunches, menu is good too. Great selection of beers and whiskeys. Only thing missing is the ability to light up a cigar.

Have been here three times now, and each time has been better. The food is solid, and the cocktails are made well. Friendly staff and attentive service.

  • Review 91 (2023-06-25 - Rating: 5)

Our waitress Carolyn can only be described as… the coolest cousin who you see every few years but always makes you feel so safe and appreciated and also smokes you out in the backyard. She encouraged us to have the best time without making us feel pressured, a rare but wonderful skill. She is mother, she is sister, she is just part of a great great establishment. Can’t wait to come back here just for my girl and slam potatoes and mimosas with Carolyn.

  • Review 92 (2018-03-29 - Rating: 5)

Every year, we stay at the Stewart Hotel for the Westminster Dog Show, and every year we find ourselves back at Pennsylvania 6. Sometimes we just have a few people, sometimes we have a large group (20+), but no matter how many in the party, the service is always exquisite! The food is always quite good, and they have a great cocktail, beer, and wine menu, as well... If youre finding yourself looking for a place around Madison Square Garden, definitely check out Pennsylvania 6!!

Fab seafood tower. The oysters are great, as is the large TV screen

  • Review 158 (2023-02-08 - Rating: 4)

Made dinner reservations for 5pm before a concert at MSG. When we arrived there was a sign on the door that read the restaurant would be closed for a private event at 7pm.Was kinda annoyed about that considering nobody informed me when I made the reservation or at least let me know the day of. My friend & I had planned to stay after dinner to drink at the bar & now had to figure out plans last minute. Our waiter wasn’t the friendliest either, BUT other than that service was great. Food & drinks were excellent. Love the vibe & it’s a short walk to MSG. I would definitely go back.

Met friends here for brunch and had a great time. Good foood, even better service. They keep the bottomless drinks bottomless. Kinda of pricey especially for some of the portion sizes on the food, but quality was there. Very noisey. I like a lively atomsphere but we felt like we were shouting across the table. Id still go back though so it wasnt that much of a deterant :)
