Overall a wonderful dinner. Pasta was good, but the salumeria is just out of this world. Fabulous! Nice service too. Definitely recommend. -

A wonderful discovery for me, and a return after the pandemic for my lunch partner. Terrific Italian food, great service, and lots of attention to detail. -

Salumeria Rosi is the place to go for wonderful, tasty Italian food served in a warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere. The ricotta with pears is delicious and the cheese plate is terrific.Must try prosciutto!!! Homemade green pappardelle with sundried tomatoes and mascarpone is unbelievably good also. The wine selection is short but very good. Macchiatos and biscotti were just right and the ricotta cheese cake was excellent. In many places tiramisu is almost always cloying and sweet and mushy but this was ideal. This is a terrific little restaurant on the Upper West Side. -

Went for my birthday. Such a beautiful restaurant and the servers were so kind and charming. The food was delicious. I thought after the antipasti id be full but finished my entire plate of lasagna with no problem. Great vibe. And I can’t wait to come again. -

Was looking for a spot to eat while in the area. Salumeria Rosi is as authentic as it gets. Food was outstanding & service was exceptional!! Will be back for sure!! -

Salumeria Rosi is my FAVORITE neighborhood Italian restaurant! Food is delicious my husband and I love this place so much. Salumeria Rosi is our home away from home. This was our kitchen when we were doing renovations for literally a year. You can never be disappointed no matter what you eat. Menu is authentic and you can taste it in every bite. Some delicious dishes are fried artichokes, spaghetti pomodori, skirt steak. Desserts are all so tasty. I love the lemon cake, and tiramisu. Their rose wine is my favorite all year round! -

The staff was lovely. The food was great it was busy but we were never ignored. I was visiting with a friend. I have not seen her in about four years. I didnt have a reservation they still seated us within 10 minutes. Thank you for a good night -
Review 9 (2024-12-22 - Rating: 5)
A nice coffee but on the more expensive side, tbh there is better espresso to be found within a 0.1 mile radius. Very high quality market items, breads etc, and make sure you get a prosciutto puff. Also very pretty on the inside. -

We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday dinner, and the night was fantastic! The food was amazing, the wine perfect, and Glenn, as our waiter, was the star of the night. We had some of the best service and it was a wonderful evening overall. Would highly recommend! God bless Glenn!! -

Do not miss out on Rosi. I’ve been here for a wide variety of occasions. Standard dinner, solo brunch, work lunch, drinks … it’s always really really good. The service is top tier. Exactly what you expect from a busy uws restaurant. Attentive, Friendly and Accommodating, always. The food is spot on delicious. Lots of options for every diet. fresh pasta options with a seasonal menu too. I love wine options and this place delivers on that too! -
Review 12 (2024-10-10 - Rating: 5)
I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Salumeria Rosi in Upper West Side, NYC. Focusing on classic Italian dishes and various Italian cured meats. We had a blast enjoying all these specialties. This is also located not far from some Central Park highlights. -

It wasnt a very big place, but was very busy. Thats usually a sign of a great restaurant. The food was delicious and unfortunately my stomach was only so big otherwise I would have had more. -

Amazing meat and cheese plate. Prosciutto San Daniele is always my favorite. Tiny place and tight but great atmosphere. We went in late afternoon to beat the dinner crowd. Love this place. -

Came across this place walking with my family, we sat outside on their patio which is adorable. It’s so inviting! We had some meats and cheeses to start with crispy fried artichokes followed by spaghetti pomdori and their special ragu. Food was really to die for. So much flavor I thought I was in Italy. Wine was good it paired well with everything. Our server Nicole was amazing the best waitress Beyond courteous, super sweet. We will for sure be back! 🤍 -
Review 20 (2022-09-03 - Rating: 5)
Absolutely phenomenal experience at this restaurant. I knew we were in for an awesome meal from the moment we sat down. Our server Arianna was so warm and attentive. The chef was coming out to say hi to the regulars. We started with a meat board and a caprese salad before finishing with lasagna. Truly perfect food, every single bite. I seriously can’t wait to go back, this place is something special. -
Review 21 (2024-11-13 - Rating: 5)
The meat was delicious, and I’d definitely want to have it again. The potatoes were a bit oily, but balanced and enjoyable with the house red. I expected the bread to be warm, though. -

Review 23 (2021-06-30 - Rating: 5)
Invited here for dinner by some friends. Found parking in a lot about a block away. Had reservations and was immediately seated inside. Over small in location but mighty in quality and service. After my first bite of pasta I asked for some details and as suspected it was handmade on site that day.I also had the steak “manzo” it was delish ! I asked to have it prepared as the chef would suggest and best move. No additional sauce or additions needed. Had a few, several drinks and they were all great. Service was also great. No rushed, everything explained and suggestions were made. Also felt the meal was spaced out very well. Strongly suggest you try ! -

Waw wawThank youGrazie milleI have in the city for a year! And it’s the first time iam having real Italian food! I lived in Italy and I was frustrated since I moved here because all the Italian places I have been to from middle to upper scale restaurants don’t have Italian chefs and you feel it!Grazie mille. Service is great. Good wines. Very cool atmosphere, I felt I was in Milan.I had a great time and will come back. -
Review 25 (2018-12-19 - Rating: 4)
Hidden gem. Lots of people think it’s a real deli type place just for hams, wine etc. But this is a full on restaurant with a good menu and brunch options! The place is popular with locals, small and crowded. I got the steak and egg sandwich brunch (shown in picture). For dinner the small plates are great, but we weren’t completely taken in with the pasta (4/5). -
Review 26 (2022-06-27 - Rating: 4)
I liked the lasagna. Orchiette was al dente and also good. Salad was generous with dressing but good. Cute atmosphere. -
Review 27 (2024-04-30 - Rating: 5)
Excellent lasagna, and decent wine by the glass. Our server was very helpful with wine suggestions, and was decently attentive. We ate in the enclosed parklet, however a homeless person entered during our meal, and asked every dining patron for money before another member of the service staff arrived to guide the man out of the dining area. -
Review 28 (2022-11-17 - Rating: 4)
Insalata caprese is the Italian mozzarella salad, nothing too special but not bad. Gnocchi is very chewy and savory, a little too salty. Rigatoni alla campidanese is the best one, it tastes really good. -

Review 35 (2023-08-22 - Rating: 5)
I had a really good dining experience at this establishment. I went in with a friend and it was our first time there. Our serve Nicole was phenomenal. She took the time to explain the menu and the concept of the restaurant to us. She was very attentive and really made sure our dining experience was phenomenal. The food was really delicious as well, we had the fried artichokes which were super delicious. And the fusilli pesto which was also very good. Overall, great food and great service. I would literally just come back to have Nicole as a server again her energy and attentiveness were top notch. -

Review 44 (2024-05-13 - Rating: 4)
I had an okay time here but was disappointed that they dont have the giant jugs of Carlo Rossi. I kept sending all of the wine back because it was too delicious and I try to only drink wines that taste like Kool Aid mixed with soap so I dont become an alcoholic. -

Small elegant space. The wait for 2 people around 7pm was short. Food was delicious, and the staff was very kind. They offer small or large plates for some of their dishes, the small plates were the perfect portion for the both of us :) -
Review 49 (2023-11-29 - Rating: 4)
Loves this place! The service was great too.. They all seemed happy to work there. Shared the cured meat selection plate- which I highly recommend then followed it up with farro, crostini, bean salad, mixed green salad, leek tart.. Best meal! -
Review 50 (2021-12-08 - Rating: 5)
The food was excellent. Had an excellent selection of meats and cheese. Generous portions and high quality. Also had the gnocchi, which was the best I’ve had in quite some time.Above all else the service was wonderful. Our waiter Christopher was incredibly knowledgeable and rattled of detailed recommendations from their wine list to pair with our entrees. Checked on us with a smile and made our meal an even better experience. The staff behind the meat counter were also friendly to everyone who came up and seemed like experts at their trade.Pleasant surprise for a small neighborhood restaurant. Can’t wait to bring more folks here in the future -
Review 51 (2022-11-20 - Rating: 5)
We ate here twice on our visit from Alabama. Nicole was our waitress, and remembered us the second time…and actually remembered what we ordered. We were so impressed with the food, the service and the ambiance. We will put this restaurant top of our list next time we visit! There is also gluten free options!! Love love loved this place, and Nicole! -
Review 52 (2024-09-19 - Rating: 5)
Coming to Salumeria is always a great experience. I love the fresh and authentic food. The watermelon salad is one of my favorite. The rigatoni a la Salumeria is my favorite pasta there. However the dish that I love the most is the chicken scallopini, I wish they could carry this all year long. The service is fantastic and the wine selection fabulous. I cannot wait to come back! -
Review 53 (2022-08-20 - Rating: 5)
JP the manager created a table for us, when the restaurant was full! The watermelon 🍉 salad is great! The homemade lasagna is wonderful. The service is attentive and the bathrooms are clean! -
Review 54 (2024-08-04 - Rating: 5)
Fabulous experience! The service is polished and professional. Managing Director Michael is a true professional and made our visit exceptional. Food is 10/10. And on top the dining area is beautifully decorated so a night out here will please all guests. Highly recommend and I only review businesses that I highly recommend (for whatever that is worth). Me and a friend went last night to celebrate a friend who lost his life 2 years ago. We sat at the bar which is very small having only 3 seats but, I loved it and preferred it over the regular seats that are pretty close. They have outdoor sitting as well.We started with a beautiful appetizer of fried artichoke! Ummm yummyI had the Caesar salad which was very good and since I love tomatoes I asked them to add them and I loved how big and beautiful they were. My friend had the watermelon salad that I tasted and loved too and so did she.I ordered the lasagna and she had the spaghetti with clams. Both were good and I’m about to eat leftovers now.We didn’t have dessert but, I ordered the prosciutto with fresh mozzarella and omg it was amazing! I only wish I had crackers to eat it on.The staff was amazing and they all checked on us to make sure we were okay and enjoying everything and I wish I remembered every name but, there’s a guy that works at the bar who is a real hoot and truly entertaining! 😁I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will be visiting again myself.Excuse typos(sent from iPhone) -

Had dinner there before the Jason Bonham show. Excellent food and service. Ate on the sidewalk in NYC. So much fun. NYC is just extraordinary.I had the skirt steak with potato halves and Charlotte had the risotto. Really good.If youre going to the Beacon and youre looking for a dinner spot, this restaurant should be on your list. -

Tried for the first time and loved everything I tried so much! Highly recommend the antipasto. -
Review 62 (2023-12-12 - Rating: 5)
Charcuterie plate was delicious as was the tiramisu. The place was close with people and bustling, but the staff is excellent - they made us feel welcome and well cared for. -
Review 63 (2021-08-31 - Rating: 4)
Pretty young and hip crowd here when I went. This place also has the swankiest bathroom far and wide, though it is very small. Other than that, its on a very busy street so make sure you get a table further in the back if you want to dine outdoors. Service was good, and prices were reasonable but I was missing more drink options. Of the food, nothing stood out to me especially. The charcuterie counter does look great however, so if you like that it might be a good thing to try. Might be better for lunch than for dinner -
Review 64 (2022-10-03 - Rating: 5)
I hesitate to review Salumeria Rosi....if everyone knows how amazing the food is here it will make my life more complicated.Ive dined here several times with groups and every dish weve had has been fantastic. Best Italian restaurant in NYC! -

Review 69 (2023-04-20 - Rating: 5)
Tonight was probably my 20th dinner at Rosi. This neighborhood gem serves perfectly al dente pasta and Italian classics with style and flair. Would recommend for anyone seeing a show at the Beacon, or just looking for a fantastic meal. My regular server, Nicole, in generous in spirit and clearly takes her job seriously. The entire staff is second to none. Don’t miss out on a meal here if you have the chance. -

Amazing Insalata con Manzo (steak salad) and you can’t go wrong with prosciutto or their Calabrese. -
Review 71 (2022-07-03 - Rating: 5)
The food was excellent as was the service! Everything from apps to dessert was excellent. Evan our waiter was helpful, kind and helpful. My one ask would be that the manager show a little more interest in the customers (I’m a former restaurant manager) by touching the tables during dessert or dinner. -
Review 72 (2024-10-07 - Rating: 5)
What a surprise to have such great food and an amazing staff who care for your every need! Take their recommendations and you wont be disappointed! -
Review 73 (2022-07-12 - Rating: 5)
Really nice italian restaurant. Manager and staff were kind. Food was good. I ordered a main course and was given some bread, olive oil and some salt as an appetizer, free of charge. The bread was very good. My main dish was a spaghetti carbonara. Not the best Ive had, but pretty good. I really appreciated that they offered two sizes for many dishes, so you dont waste food (or money) if you eat less, like me. My drink was called Giulio, I think - or something similar. I chose it because it looked very sweet - and it was. Very good. As dessert, I had the chocolate mousse with blueberries. It was pretty good, and refreshing on a warm Summer day. The restaurant also has a gourmet deli, with multiple types of cheese and salami. -

Review 75 (2024-07-08 - Rating: 5)
Salumeria Rosi is Excellent. I live in the neighborhood, and am so grateful to have this little slice of Italian goodness in my world-- the food is authentic, fresh, and flavorful; the menu is seasonal and flexible, great for dining alone or with a group; the atmosphere is warm and easy-going yet upscale and classy, and the staff and service are absolutely lovely. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around. Salumeria Rosi really stands out on the Upper West Side, and quite frankly in the city in general. -
Review 76 (2018-06-17 - Rating: 5)
My wife and myself have made this restaurant our go to haven on the Upper West Side.Never had a bad meal and service always pleasant and efficient.I read many reviews for this restaurant and found most all of them, very positive.I found one review rather shocking from a person named Clare. Not the part of waitng 15 minutes for a table, but the slur thrown at the owner , Donato , who I always found to be a gentleman and one of the main reasons I go here.He makes the dining experience a true pleasure and the food is always superior and of the highest quality.I could never see him demeaning anyone , and especially women.Great man and excellent restaurant. -

My friend and I went there because we were on our way to the Hummas Place and her eyes widened at the food patrons were eating in the sidewalk seating. We decided to walk back and check it out. I was amazed at the quality and superb flavor of the dishes we ordered. The service from the bus boys and waiter to the owner who made me feel at home when he came over and asked how the food and we were doing. The chianti was reasonable and delicious, all-in-all a great meal in a great place surrounded by great people. What else do you want in New York but great food, great wine, and great service? Maybe some more apropos synonyms for great..... -
Review 82 (2019-07-20 - Rating: 5)
Superb mid-priced Italian restaurant. Came here with my wife, mother and father. Each of us ordered a different dish, we shared two desserts and had coffee. There wasn’t a false note in the entire meal. My wife and I have spent a quite a lot of time in Italy, and during the past year that we’ve resided in NY have frequented many of the city’s excellent Italian restaurants. This may well be the best one of all, certainly at this price point. The service and ambience are worthy of mention too. -

Review 86 (2020-01-18 - Rating: 5)
Not a typical trattoria-style Italian but more like an osteria/tapas-centered dining, so to speak. The whole place is driven by quality meats and ingredients. Beautiful spot to sit outdoor, watching pedestrians at the heart of the Upper West Side with a glass of house wine. -
Review 87 (2020-02-08 - Rating: 5)
The food is fantastic. Ive been here twice and loved it both times, for dinner and lunch. There isnt anything that isnt delicious on that menu, Id like to try all the weekly specials, but the gnocchi is just so good. Service is also excellent. -
Review 88 (2016-11-14 - Rating: 4)
Great spot on upper west side. Our waitress was not particularly likable but the rest of the staff made up for her. Great food and not outrageously expensive. unfortunately very small place and had to sit next to the door which kept opening and freezing my *** off and chilling the warm food. perhaps they can invest in an enclosure temporarily for cold weather? -
Review 89 (2022-11-29 - Rating: 5)
The kind service needs to be recognized immediately. They are awesome and helpful. Their selection of Italian groceries for a charcuterie board is fantastic. At least stop by and get some of their bread. Wow -
Review 90 (2021-04-08 - Rating: 5)
I mean, wow. This was one of the best dining experiences weve ever had in the city, bar none. The service was exceptionally attentive and our server, Chris, was personable, knowledgeable and really helped make our anniversary dinner one to remember. The mozzarella in the Prosciutto con Pistachio was devine, the gnocchi melts in your mouth, and the home-made tagliatella was accompanied with a perfect blend of pesto and parmigiano reggiano. My only regret is not coming here sooner. -

First time ever that I give 5 stars to an Italian restaurant in NYC! I am Italian and I know well how the vast majority of Italian restaurants are not true Italian. One thing is cooking Italian recipes another is doing it right and with gusto. This restaurant is absolutely outstanding, on every possible aspect:1) true Italian menu: not Americanized. Already starting from the menu it seemed to me that I was back in Italy again. No compromises, only genuine, proper Italian dishes. First star.2) all is cooked (and served) like it should be done. I had fried carciofo (carciofo alla giudia) that even if not done with Roman artichokes (impossible to find here), it was done great, more than great, superlative. With also an amazing cheese cream aside.I ordered also lasagne, it was what we call in Italy white lasagna, basically with not so much sauce as usual, it was simply perfect. Period. Its hard to make a not dry white lasagna, but this was absolutely spot on. Plus: it smelled so much real Italian food (Italians will understand what I mean...) that I almost cried for the joy... :) second star.3) the selection: finding Italian ingredients here in the States is not impossible, but pretty difficult. I am in the food & beverage sector, so I can say that I saw in their counter pretty difficult to find Italian ingredients. Those that come from small factories, and when you eat them, the difference is in fact huge. Third star.4) the service: we were served by a waiter called Marina, she truly deserves a special mention. Since the first moments she was very kind, polite, supportive and very competent on the menu. She was also genuinely interested in having my opinion on their food, as Italian customer and she not only welcomed us along the dinner but she left us with a gift, a fantastic chocolate mouse that was absolutely out of this world (and I usually dont like ice creams and sweets in general). She did her job with true Italian passion and hospitality, this is extremely difficult to find in NYC. Fourth star.5) The Chef, honestly speaking, this place is by far the best Italian restaurant that Ive found in NYC, and I ate in many also much more famous. Italian cousine is simple, genuine and freshly made, and all in this place is done this way. I was told that the Chef, Lorenzo, wasnt present last night, so I couldnt say bravo!! to him, but this made me appreciate his work even more, since eating so well in a restaurant while the Chef is not there means that this guy is also a great teacher and he trained his staff in a fantastic way. Fifth star. One more thing: we have been there on Monday night, that in this new post pandemic NYC is the slowest day in the week, especially for restaurants. Well, this place was packed. And they absolutely deserve it, like they deserve to have way more awards and fame.So ultimately a BRAVO!!! goes to the owner/s since the work done in this place is meticulous and passionate.Ill be back very often, and very soon... -

The lasagna I had was truly good and very different from the industrially produced ones you buy at retailers. Great interior and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend. -

The Italian “French” toast brought me so much joy. And the steak & egg breakfast sandwich was a good savoury compliment. Great outdoor vibe too, and overall a really delicious time! -

The outdoor seating is great for enjoying the weather and people watching (even some celebrity spotting!). The smaller pasta dishes look small at first but theyre actually very filling, especially if you get appetizers. Apparently some of their pasta has been on the Food Network, so ask about that! -

Waitress was awesome with us (forgot her name) so service was great. Food was excellent, we had the cheese and meat plate with some of the dishes (tapas) to have a complete meal. Great place when youre in a group. -

Sooo good. This place was a really delectable experience. I went with a friend. We were overwhelmed by the menu - so many good options, so many things I didn’t know what they were. We had the cheese selection, small meet selection, and olives to start - all amazing. We shared the vegetable of the day and gnocchi. The gnocchi was fantastic. I had a cocktail that was very tasty. Thought about taking some cheese to go but was too full after the meal. Staff was very attentive. We walked in around 7:30 on a Monday and were seated within 5 minutes even though we didn’t have a reservation. Highly recommend. -

This is the place to come for delicious Italian influenced food on the Upper West Side: fried artichokes, figs, burrata, and coppa, sardines, pasta with any number of sauces, fish and meats, delicious wines and cocktails. The staff is delightful and the environment is comforting. -

Overall 4. Food was a 5. Very good and prices were very reasonable for fine Italian food. Try the trofie with pesto. It is some sort of imported noodle. I have never seen it at a resturant before and it was really good. Unfortunately the host was terrible. We made a reservation weeks in advance. They called the day before to confirm the reservation and then when we showed up, on time, there was no room for us. The hosted wanted to place us next to the busy entrance and before she left she informed us they had another reservation for our space in 1.5 hours. She made us feel like we were her burden not her guest. -

Loved our meal here last night. Still dreaming about the grilled peaches and ricotta. Caponetta and Orchietti w/fennel sausage were winners too. Your Rose Prosecco was the perfect partner. Mile high cappuccino and bread pudding topped off this very memorable meal. Will need to return to experience more! Bravo! -

Salumeria Rosi is one of those places that shines from the inside out. I could tell you how wonderful the ambiance is for brunch or a spontaneous bite when you’re buzzing around the city, or how the place really shines with its moody, mirrored walls for an intimate yet lively dinner. I could rave about the fresh ingredients, many flown in directly from Italy, each carefully selected with exquisite taste, deep pride, and expert knowledge. I could rave about the rich Caesar salad with anchovies, the perfectly balanced ricotta with peaches, any of the many special pastas, the excellently cooked manzo and fingerling potatoes or the absolutely decadent, one of a kind pistachio panna cotta. Yet, all of this does not cover the most important, genuine and unique part of this restaurant - the spectacular crew of individuals that serve this beautiful neighborhood each day and night. I’ve been many places and it’s a rare occurrence to find humans as kind, fun and truly desiring of providing an amazing dining experience as the ones here. Every time I get the chance to spend a little time at Salumeria Rosi I leave feeling full in more ways than just any meal can provide. And so I encourage anyone to visit and be welcomed a friend and leave as family. -

Review 104 (2019-07-25 - Rating: 5)
This is very good Italian style food. The Troflie pasta with pesto, tiny green beans & potatoes was amazing! The tuna entree was delicious, as was the beef cheeks-the excess fat cut off & crisped to make exquisite cracklings! I always love the peaches with ricotta, honey & walnuts; & usually the melon & prosciutto with a bit of buffalo mozzarella is great. Tonight, it seemed a bit skimpy. Still tasty. -

It was a delightful experience, its not my first time dining in Salumeria but definitely it wont be the last one either. You can taste the Tuscan flavor and style, either on their food or selection of red wines. Having different dishes in the menu, I can say it was pretty comfortable to order a dish that I was excited to try out ever since I had some difficulty with certain food, they helped to order a dish that could not hurt my stomac. If you ever come here, definitely go for the cured cuts and pasta, its to kill for. They have an extraordinary outstanding service when it comes to make you feel cozy and taken care of. Definitely coming back soon. -

We stumbled upon this restaurant last November and then had to return on our next trip with our 7 guests in January.Unbelievable food, fantastic service. Run by a small family who is obviously familiar with how to properly run a restaurant. They offered is a crazy dessert - candied bacon, parmesan cheesecake ... I thought, no way! But was BLOWN AWAY!So creative, so delicious!Back in NYC tonight, so guess where we have reservations?!Cant wait to be blown away again xoxo -

Absolutely extraordinary Italian tapas. Keep in mind the portions are small, but so fresh and tasty! Service was quick and friendly as well. The parmacotto was a bit lackluster--I would recommend trying a different charcuterie as they have so many that all look delicious. But the gnocchi in tomato sauce is stunning, the brunch bruschetta inventive, and the caprese salad stunningly fresh. -

I love the convenience of this bakery. Its just too easy to swing by after a hard days shopping in NYC before you catch your train back home ;) they have a range of popular cupcakes, iv tried a fair few but my favourites are still the vanilla with chocolate frosting or chocolate with chocolate frosting. The cupcakes arent the largest or the most creatively decorated but they are moist, sugary and delicious. For an extra dollar twenty five you can get a whole slice of cake, which I think is somewhat better value. They sometimes have lemonade which Im a fan of, its tart yet thirst quenching.Im yet to try the banana pudding. Maybe next time. -

Some people say you should never eat at the same restaurant twice in NYC because there are so many good restaurants. But some restaurants are so good, that rule must be broken! Salumeria Rosi is worthy of breaking that rule. As NYC residents, this was our go to dining experience. When friends visit NYC, this is always our top recommendation. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive and knows how to guide every patron into a memorable experience. Andrew, Nicole, Evan and the team became our NYC family. Start with a cocktail to go with some artisan meat and cheese, followed by Insalata Mista to prepare your palate for any of the authentically delicious pasta, meat or seafood dishes. You cannot go wrong. Save room for dessert and drinks, as their selections are the right way finish to your meal! -

This is simply a magic place. If it happens you’re in town you have to try its food, if you live in NY then you might fall in love for it. It’s a pure pearl of Italian food in Manhattan while it’s finely curated and well designed the menu of the chef Lorenzo will offer you an aesthetic experience of taste in which you would get lost amazed. Don’t ask for some specific food, simply ask the chef to offer you his talent and you’ll get surprised and delighted. You can also buy great and tasty food to cook at home. -

First night of our anniversary tour to NYC. I cannot think of a better opening meal experience. Andrew the owner GM worked us into a packed Saturday night slate -- thank you! Treat yourself to a great night with unique ambiance and personal service. Well done. -

If you are looking for high quality authentic & delicious italian food, eat here. from assaggi di salumi i tried: prosciutto di parma, mortadella di bologna, soppressata and bresaola. all excellent, but portions are too small. good italian wine list. in a few words: food and wine are very good although overpriced considering that they want to move you out like you are in a fast food restaurant. -

This small Tuscan spot is much more than a salumeria under the helm of Chef Cesare Casella. One taste of his porcetta and you will be transported to an Italian countryside. Much of the same can be said for most other dishes Ive had from his menu too.Note that reservations are recommended due to the space limitations here. -

Tonight (11/16/08) we tried out Salumeria Rossi, Cesare Casellas Italian grocery con ristorante that just opened on 74th and Amsterdam. The Italian salami, ham and delicious bresaola (which Im eating while writing this - one if the advantages of having an integrated grocery) are delicious and the small, hot dishes (we had Trippa and Penne) show good potential, although they arent quite there yet. The place fits very well into the neighborhood and will surely become a regular for all the neighbors who are looking for a quick, 1 hour escape to Tuscany without even the swipe of a Metrocard. -
