Had a friends birthday at Sogno Toscano and it was fantastic! The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make our night special.We tried three different pastas, and hilariously, each person had a different favorite. Thats how good they all were!The real star? The sommelier. She was awesome, walking us through each wine pairing like a pro. She explained the geography and unique traits of each wine, making our tasting way more fun and interesting.Highly recommend for a great night out.

Yuliia went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience — she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed.The restaurant itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The service was incredibly fast, which is a huge bonus when dining with kids.Now, the food… wow! The pizza was absolutely divine. The kids couldn’t get enough of the mozzarella pizza — it was cheesy, fresh, and cooked to perfection.If you’re looking for high-quality food, outstanding service, and a family-friendly place, this is it. We are so happy to have this great spot in the neighborhood. They open at 8 am, the menu is the same from breakfast to dinner. You can order eggs all day or have pasta for breakfast. We found out this spot yesterday and have been here twice already!Their pastry are so fresh and delicious. The croissants are so fresh and on the weekends, they are sold out by noon, so make sure you get there a bit earlier.The sandwiches are to die for, my mouth is wastingnow as I’m writing this review. The bread is crunchy, but soft, it doesn’t hurt the top of your mouth. We ordered the Bufalina and Auténtica. The meat was so fresh and it was the perfect ratio of greens, cheese and meat. The prosciutto was not stringy when you bite into the sandwich. I hate it when I bite into a sandwich and a whole chunk of prosciutto for my next bite come along with it. This sandwich doesn’t have this problem! I don’t know what magic they do with it.Their coffee is great too! They only have vanilla flavored latte, but it’s made very well. I men’s they are Italians, flavored latte isn’t their thing. Their Chai is great too!! Not too spicy, yet very cinnamony.I also ordered the Carbonara for breakfast the next day. It was the perfect hungover dish. My husband got the Savory Croissant and it was really good too!Enough about the food, the space is really cozy like a European cafe. The outdoor area is nice for a warmer day out!Our server, Saveiro, adds to the experience with his friendly demeanor and authentic Italian accent, transporting us to a small town in Italy. Overall, the place offers truly authentic Italian food with the highest quality produce. Weve already recommended it to multiple neighbors, and they all love it too! Cant wait to explore more of their dishes.

Absolutely incredible Italian food and you can tell the stuff is imported fromItaly and the staff is in fact Italian, it’s as close as you get to actual European Italian not New York Italian. Delicate complex flavors and perfectly curated. It’s way more than a coffee and wine bar tho that is incredible too. I’ve never had a better crunchy crusty bread ever they serve with meals I could eat that until I did. The caprese was incredible as was the gnocchi such delicate flavoring it’s more then the basics and quality ingredients, I hope they expand and open more.

What a place 😍 We live in the area and saw this cutest cafe walking past the streets…Sogno Toscano is located in the iconic NYC Zaha Hadid building, and in addition to delicious Tuscan fare you will also get exposure to the most beautiful New York crowd and a very special opportunity to people watch - I promise just this fact by itself is worth checking this place out!We visited for dinner and there was Italian live jazz which was so lovely and created amazing vibe 🥰The cocktails were top notch (we went with Negroni and Aperol) and so was the food. Their Prosciutto pizza deserves a special Cudos - you will NOT see that much prosciutto anywhere else in the world!The staff is excellent and very personable - our server Max was very kind and made us feel very welcome and so was the restaurant manager Vanessa ❤️Definitely RECOMMEND coming in and looking forward to return to taste their pistachio croissant for breakfast ✨

The ambiance is inviting, and the staff is exceptional—Audrey and Yulia, in particular, always make our visits special with their outstanding service. Its truly a gem in the neighborhood, and were grateful to have such a wonderful place so close to home. Highly recommended

This little gem is an oasis in Chelsea just off the Highline. Jose, the chef, uses only ingredients from Italy to make his pastas and breads. The ingredients make the difference! No enriched flour here. Audrey and Julia will serve you an espresso or glass of wine to accompany Jose’s delectables, and save room for pastry. You will be tempted to stay all day in this jewel box of an Italian cafe.

I am Italian born and raised, and Sogno Toscano truly makes you feel as if you are in Italy! The delicious schiacciate, the home-made pastas, and the amazing cocktails are simply sublime. I had been to their other location in the West Village many times, but this location gives another wonderful vibe, which is typical of Sogno Toscano! The entrance is right next to the High Line and the cafe and wine bar is also adjacent to art galleries, which also adds an extra layer of coolness to the establishment! I love coming here and I will bring all friends and family when they’ll come visit me from Italy!

You can stock up on authentic Italian imported goodies, invite a friend, or enjoy some alone time getting work done or reading a book. The local business has an another cafe & wine bar located in Chelsea and an alternate location in Santa Monica, CA. My new favorite spot in NYC! Very aesthetic & atmospheric space, they’ve done a terrific job with the interior design although the indoor space is quite narrow but they have two additional outdoor terrace areas that are lovely. The café really accommodates both coffee beverages and alcoholic ones, you feel comfortable ordering both, the space fits for both.I’ve been trying to find ‘lit’ / ‘sceney’ / ‘downtowny’ / ‘buzzy’ spots in this Lower Midtown West section of Manhattan (pretty much everything West of the NQRW, between 14th & Hudson Yards), the short answer: there aren’t any. Turn around & keep going down👇🏽. There’s no “scene” here. There are other things however:✅ Chelsea is excellent for culture, e.g.:—Printed Matter Inc. bookstore—192 Books bookstore—Passageway Books was great, sadly now closed 🚫 :(—Poster House museum, truly excellent programming—The Shed great exhibition space—Chisholm Larsson poster gallery—Jim Kempner Gallery very visually stimulating architecture—Rudolf Steiner bookstore also cool—all the artwork on the walls @ Hotel Chelsea, most of the artwork you see is art by the many famous artists who once resided there. Often tendered as rent when they were too broke to pay cash.+ + Garage Sale is a pretty cool brocante style store+ + I guess there’s a preservative quality to this neighborhood because Chelsea happens to be home to some of the last standing classic old school diners in NYC. A pretty cool feature of the neighborhood. Makes for great photographs.✅ Chelsea is excellent for restaurants, e.g.:—Empire Diner recently renovated and restored to its former glory, looks fantastic—Bottino next door—Juban ! Excellent Japanese—Shukette buzzy Mediterranean food spot—Kame famous ramen—Vito’s Slices & Ices awesome classic New York casual pizzeria❌ Chelsea is not excellent at café-bakeries—La Bergamote is great. One of the few. Proper in house baking and charming space. Great café-bakery.(—Sogno Toscano)That’s pretty much it.—Yanni’s Coffee is nice—Super Nice just opened their 3rd location here in Chelsea but the space has no charm. The donuts are excellent though.—Fellini Coffee just opened and looks charming. Need to go check it out.—there’s a Kossar’s in the area❌ Chelsea is not excellent for drinks / going out. Limited options in this department.—Loulou’s speakeasy is fun—Bathtub Gin is well known—McKittrick Hotel also well known—Empire Diner would make for a good spot to get a drink—the Hotel Chelsea bar is a buzzy spotThat’s about it. This is by far one of the best places in the city and everyone has to come here at least once. It is my favorite cafe in NYC and every time I step in it is like stepping into Italy. From the moment you step in, the staff greets you with warmth. The coffee- iced americano snd cappuccinos are delicious. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner is cooked/baked with care and love. By day it is a charming Italian cafe and by night it turns into a cozy wine bar. I was born and raised in NYC and have tried plenty of food places, but when I want a taste of Italy and to decompress this is where I come. I will be bringing my friend from Tuscany who is coming to visit in a couple of weeks and I know she will give it her stamp of approval with pride. Thank you Sogno Toscano. My boyfriend and I love coming here

Sogno Toscano in NYC is a hidden gem! Daniela provided outstanding service, making me feel right at home. The pistachio croissant was the best Ive ever had, perfectly creamy and delish ! Paired with their rich coffee, it was a treat. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for getting work done. I can’t wait to return!

Everything is just impeccable.Food is incredible, service is pristine, and the atmosphere is done so tastefully.Cinzia waited our table, with utmost patience, care, and smile.One of the very few spots in Chelsea that has an elegant outdoor seating that doesnt feel you are seated on the sidewalk. The space indoors is also very elegant and comfortable at the same time.I have been to the original location in West Village as well, and both spots are great.Whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch dinner, or just meeting a friend over a cup of coffee or a glass of Franciacorta, I highly recommend this place.Enjoy!

Ive been going to Sogno for a year and a half first at the Perry Street location and then Chelsea. The staff always has the perfect recommendations and they are constantly bringing new dishes to the menu each one better than the last. Their emphasis on sourcing the best ingredients always shows and the ambiance/presentation is a warm welcome to the area.Best schiacciate in the city - highly recommend the Bologna and an aperol spritz! You wont be disappointed
