I stopped by Tartinery Cafe for lunch with friends and got the Lunch Combo ($15.50+), which includes a choice of soup and petite sandwich.I’d wanted the Chestnut and Mushroom Soup, but they only had Butternut Squash. For my sandwich, I chose the Smashed Avocado with Egg (additional $2.50+). I’d asked for it without cilantro, but they were putting it on as they were preparing it, so I had to ask them to remove it, again.The soup was a bit bland, but the Smashed Avocado was good.For $20, this wouldn’t be my first choice for lunch, but could be good if you’re looking for a small lunch.

Really loved chatting with the staff. I enjoyed my soup and coffee. It was a dreary day in New York but it made for a really cozy early morning coffee cause it overlooks the water. Would definitely recommend it as a place to hang out and have drinks too.

What a pleasant surprise to find this gem in a food court! Our server Carla was friendly and informative. She helped us choose our dishes by explaining the various options. She made delicious lattés and served a nice almond croissant while we waited for our brunch items. We loved our experience so much we came back another day during our visit to NYC. The restaurant has nice windows facing the waterfront to boot!

There are some great places to eat here. I decided on volcano fries and was pleasantly satisfied with the quality of the food, just disappointed with the quantity of chicken. they said it would be two peoples serving of chicken but these two people must have tiny appetites .... the fries were abundant but not the chicken but the flavors are on point and great!! the chicken we did have was delicious!! and views in this area are excellent. great for walking around after a good meal.

Stopped by for a quick drink after visiting the Cove right next door. I was tempted to order some food as it looked so good, but just wanted a smoothie, tea, and latte. There was only 2 other people in line, so was able to order quickly. Service was very friendly and prompt. All the drinks were ready within about 5-7 minutes. The Matchalicious smoothie wasnt too sweet and had a nice balance of fruits and Matcha. The lattes were equally as good and was served with a nice flower and heart design. Nice place to have a drink and relax in the food court.

I discovered this place almost a year ago . I was looking to have a glass of wine and a little bite on a sunday afternoon.. Of course. The fact that they have an all day happy hour made it perfect. They make a really great watermelon spritz, have a nice rose In addition to a few tasty tartines and soups. Service is always wonderful, Since I started going Isaac has always been a gem, really patient and professional. More recently I have been served by Torres and he makes a fantastic espresso Martini, and such helpful young man.. This will always be my go to spot.when I want a little bite and a cocktail or a glass of wine

Probably the nicest mall food court that Ive been to. Located on the second floor of Brookfield Place, Hudson Eats sticks to the luxurious, modern feel of the shopping center while offering a wide variety of food at not-too-cheap prices.The selection of places to eat is what shines here. Salads, tacos, BBQ, burgers, bagels, grilled cheese sandwiches, sushi, Chinese, Cambodian just for starters. Youll find something you want here.The prices match the upscale vibe and are not what youd expect to pay at a regular mall food court. That being said, this really isnt a regular mall food court. With clean tables that are regularly looked after and huge windows overlooking the Hudson River and Jersey City skyline, its not your average mall at all. Expect at least $14 for a burger, and around $10 for a breakfast sandwich.It gets absolutely packed around meal times - you may not be able to find a table. Because of the prices and the crowds, its not really a place I think Id find myself eating at regularly, but the sheer selection of food as well as the atmosphere make it a place definitely worth checking out.

Absolutely love this place. Its food court food, but just feels so fancy with the marble and water views and everything. Also, the selection of restaurants is great. Mighty Quinns, Umami Burger, and Dos Toros are my staples. When there are cool installations or performances in the atrium, its great to grab a bite and then hang out on the deck overlooking the atrium.If Im ever meeting folks downtown that I dont know very well and dont want to do a bar but just something easy, casual, and not worry about what kind of food they like, this place is perfect.

This food hall in the financial center has a great selection of NYC restaurant eats including Dos Toros, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, and others. The seating area isn’t huge, but there are options to go outside with the food or stay in at the tables in the hall. The prices are a bit high, but there is a premium to be paid for the location and options. You can also get beer at several of the restaurant counters which is great to pair with the food and recharge if exploring the area.

The variety pretty much cant be beat, you can find something for anybody here. They have just about any ethnic cuisine you could crave and even places for those of you with a sweet tooth. It can be a little pricey just for lunch, but you get very good quality for the price, especially in downtown Manhattan. My personal favorites are Fuku and Dos Torros. They even happen to have great happy hour specials if youre looking for a nice place to grab a drink after work without having to deal with the hassle and clutter of a bar.

Their happy hour deal is one of the best youll find downtown, $4.50 for a can and its for quality stuff (though if youre looking for mass produced, they dont have it). Its part of the Hudson Eats food court so you can park yourself at a table and relax and enjoy the view of the river and the Jersey City skyline or work on your side hustle with the free wi-fi (you will see remote workers here as well). Security and cleaners keep the place pleasant.Other than the Nutella tartine, skip the food, lots of pretentious stuff like kale and multi-grain toast. Get food elsewhere and your drink here.All is not perfect: BFP overheats the space in the winter and the sun beats on the windows in the spring and summer, you will sweat all 12 months sitting here. Also, without rhyme or reason its either serene or loud, crowded and chaotic seemingly based on the whims of the hybrid workers (you never see them on Monday or Friday) and what random day is the end of their workweek at AMEX and the other employers upstairs. If you dont like noise or you are doing work or studying (you see students too) it can present a problem particularly since you dont really know what day to just go someplace else. The good thing is the staff is outstanding and will meet you at the counter even when its slammed, and you can always retreat someplace else in Hudson Eats or the Winter Garden if need be.
