I keep going back for the Insalata Nizzarda—its easily one of my favorite dishes. While everything else on the menu is solid, classic Italian, the Nizzarda stands out for me. The restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere, especially when you get a chance to sit outside. There are a few tables on the sidewalk, and on a nice day, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the neighborhood vibe. -

Love the vibe of this place. The cocktails here are supers strong and smooth. We came here for lunch with a group of friends and stayed here till early dinner. They have many food and drink options. Decently priced. I had the Melanzane Caprino and it was delicious. Definitely recommend. -

When arriving around 4pm the restaurant was empty but when heading out a few hours later there was no empty seat in the house. The servers did a great job and sang for me for my birthday! I had the chance to try octopus for my first time and it was delicious. I enjoyed the space between tables, since it wasn’t tight like a lot of NYC bars. There is a large selection of drinks and the serving sizes were perfect. Enough to get full and finish your plate without feeling like you overate. I also liked that the restaurant served clients of all ages. Families, friend groups and couples can dine at Terra and feel comfortable. -

I recently dined at this wonderful Italian restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, combining the charm of modern Italy with the vibrant spirit of New York. The interior was beautifully designed, making for a perfect dining ambiance. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, especially with my children. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Fettuccine Bolognese, which was rich and flavorful. My children loved the Spaghetti and Meatballs and my spouse thoroughly enjoyed the Mushroom Truffle Fungi. Each dish was a perfect $18 and very fulfilling.Overall, this restaurant offers a delightful blend of great food, beautiful ambiance and excellent service. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience a few blocks away from PIER 25/26. -

Great little Italian gem in Tribeca. Pizza and pasta tasted fresh and flavorful. The small places makes for a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a repeat. -
Review 6 (2023-04-30 - Rating: 5)
I had dinner by myself here a few days ago. I stumbled upon this place after running an errand in this neighborhood. Let me preface that I’m originally from Italy and my mom’s cooking sets a high standard. This restaurant is authentic and the food is delicious. I had the prosciutto with buratta followed by the gnocchi and the tiramisu for dessert. No complaints and would definitely return. Portion sizes and prices were fair. I ate outside and would recommend this for a date night spot or getting dinner with a small group of friends. Finally, the wait staff was amazing. I will definitely be returning here. -

Absolutely delicious pizza!!! It was clutch! Shrimp artichoke and a special made one with the grilled veggies - both fanatstic.Im not always a beet guy, but i rolled the dice and was not disappointed. One of us had the bolognese and the noodles and sauce were great.Nice cool room temp on a fairly warm day. -
Review 8 (2023-02-25 - Rating: 4)
Overall the food was quite good here at Terra. It’s hard to beat the price right in the heart of Tribeca. The atmosphere: was a small intimate dining room. The design was a mix of modern and contemporary; overall, it was nice. The service: was a bit slow. While the staff was friendly, I don’t think they have a real bartender because I had toe explain what a French 75 was.The food: was very good for the price. This is a great go-to for $18 pasta dishes! -

Wonderful place to eat. Not cheap, but worth your money. Excellent food quality, awesome menu options and really tasty stuff overall. Staff were very elegant, it actually made me feel a bit uncomfortable because Im not used to being treated so respectfully. Coincidentally, we had just had dinner at their sister restaurant Aria the night before and happened to enter Terra the next day without knowing their relation, but were very happy to double down on their excellent food. Highly recommended. -

We are locals here and wanted to take our family and friends who were visiting to dinner (keep in mind we had a party of 11). Terra restaurant was so accommodating last minute and Samet specifically was our server and was absolutely amazing. We had so many laughs, great cocktails, and even better food. Truly a great experience and this place made us feel like family -

Review 13 (2024-12-28 - Rating: 4)
Probably one of the richest sauces Ive encountered for pasta in an Italian restaurant. Their base sauce for their pasta dishes is rich, thick, creamy and flavour rich, hinting at it being done the right way (slow cooked) which, makes most red sauce based dishes here beautiful! I had the seafood linguini which was a delight. The wine selection is very decent too. What makes this place special is the beautiful decor and chic ambience, which makes it a perfect spot for a good date or a quick lunch or even a slow wine and meal brunch or evening with friends! A definite recommendation from me! -
Review 14 (2021-12-07 - Rating: 5)
Perfect vibe for small gathering over lunch. Their tiramisu is excellent, with the fingers soaked with Kahlua. The cream cheese is not too sweet, with smooth texture. The grilled octopus salad was delicious as well. The octopus was so tender and resolved in my mouth. We also got tuna tartare, which was also delicious. A lot of other customers got wine as well. -

Review 16 (2023-06-12 - Rating: 4)
Yesterday, me and the homie came here fresh out of an immersive experience called Destination Cosmos that really just turned out to be a 45-minute NASA propaganda piece. Wouldnt recommend, but Terra was there to ease the pain of our shared trauma. We sat outside and shared a bottle of Chianti (obviously) and the Rosemary Parmesan Fries. Nothing quite like a good fries and wine combo, its just so dynamic. Jamal Murray and Jokic-esque.They serve water in a former Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey bottle and I couldn’t have been more impressed with a seemingly innocuous detail. I don’t know. Good glassware gets me, it’s the little things. When I lived in Tribeca, I frequented Terra often as it is a tasteful ambiance without being over the top. It really feels to me like an Italian Tapas place, and what more could you ask for in this life? It is also reasonably priced. The words reasonably priced and Tribeca rarely go hand in hand, so thank you Terra. -

Wanted a nice, simple and quiet Italian dinner and it is exactly what we got. The price/ quality ratio of this place is great. I had the mushroom pizza and it was so good! Would definitely come back! They had a great wine selection too -

I walked around to find a restaurant or bar that’s open on Christmas Day and they did! The food was amazing - we had a risotto, truffle gnocchi, and burrata which were their specials. I also loved the ambience - high ceiling, long bar counters and tables. I will definitely come back. -
Review 19 (2022-09-12 - Rating: 4)
Great restaurant with a good selection of Italian wine, appetizers and pastas. I’ve been coming here for years and always had the best experience. Unfortunately, the service deteriorated recently and isn’t as fast and friendly as before. Hope this can be improved in the future. -

Quite and quaint place with a great wine selection. Special atmosphere that gets you comfortable.Came back a year later; still amazing! Great food & service -
Review 21 (2024-03-27 - Rating: 5)
Ordered the polpette spaghetti via UberEats. Pasta was still warm upon delivery within 30 minutes. It was also classically good with a balanced portion relative to the price. It’s a bit pricey vs others as it’s in Tribeca / FiDi but that’s a given living in the area. Can I make a similar dish? Of course but I was tired that night and this is when food delivery comes handy. -
Review 22 (2022-03-21 - Rating: 5)
The food is sooo good. Such a friendly service. I highly recommend this place, the prices are very good for the quality service and ingredients. Great ambiance! Definitely be back! -

Cozy go-to spot in Tribeca. Good food and good prices. For those with gluten allergies, they are very accommodating and knowledgeable. They have gluten free pizza however it is not celiac safe. They were willing to boil GF pasta in separate water though! I got the skirt steak and subbed potatoes for fries (fries are in a shared fryer with gluten containing items). -

Review 28 (2019-03-18 - Rating: 5)
Cozy corner Italian spot in TriBeCa. The pasta menu is extensive and all dishes we ordered were fantastic. The restaurant staff was very attentive to our large party of eight and the experience couldn’t have been better. Ambiance was great for a birthday celebration. The list of daily specials was extensive and the wine list had plenty of options for all palettes. -

Review 33 (2024-05-02 - Rating: 4)
Cute spot with solid food. We shared the appetizer specials (tuna tartare; mango goat cheese salad), both of which were good. I got the linguine vongole, which was also tasty. -
Review 34 (2024-03-05 - Rating: 5)

Review 35 (2022-10-15 - Rating: 5)
Starting off the BEAUTIFUL indoor and outdoor design so much green plants. Here have the had the perfect weather for outdoor terrace seating. And the mini dessert platter with the yummiest bites esp the strawberry custard tart & and hazelnut cake. The oysters were so soft and fresh and the salmoriglio sauce made it so savory and special. -
Review 36 (2022-05-31 - Rating: 5)
The food was wonderful but the view from their outside seating on a sunny day is hard to beat. If you’d appreciate good outdoor dining in Manhattan, void of the tourists, this is the place for you. I had their beet and goat cheese salad (named much more fancily on the menu) and paired it with an order of their meatballs. So delicious! The bread was complementary. Prices were reasonable and their wine list was composed of a good selection. I opted for a Prosecco which paired nicely with my meal. Overall, would recommend. -

Review 39 (2021-11-03 - Rating: 5)
Had a lovely dinner with my grandmother here. The staff is absolutely wonderful, our outdoor table stood out from other restaurants by providing a nice view while making us feel out of the way of pedestrian traffic. This meal felt elegant without making us feel uncomfortable. Definitely recommend the ricotta cheesecake. -

Review 43 (2022-05-11 - Rating: 5)
I went here with 4 of my friends and we had a blast! The setting is very intimate so it’s perfect for a date night and even better because the prices are so reasonable. I mean $16 for a pasta plate was pretty great. We shared the following appetizers; grilled octopus, burrata and beef meatballs. All were really good especially the octopus. For mains we shared the special truffle gnocchi (8/10), bolognese tagliatelle (10/10), orecchiette with sausage and broccoli (6.5/10). Definitely recommend coming here and will be going back for date night! We also shared two bottles of red which were good but I’m not a wine connoisseur just a foodie. -

Review 45 (2023-01-05 - Rating: 5)
Great atmosphere, food was also really good. I was generally disappointed with the Italian food I found in Brooklyn and Manhattan but this place was one of the few bright spots on my trip. I will definitely be back. -
Review 46 (2021-12-17 - Rating: 5)
I only get to go to NYC every few years. I’ve been to this place the last three times I was in town. This restaurant is beautiful and small and feels like an old European building. The foods are awesome, and the waiters know their sh&t regarding the menu and their wine. This place totally makes you feel like you’re at a locals restaurant. -
Review 47 (2019-04-28 - Rating: 4)
Love the ambiance - lighting is perfect for a date night or catching up with a friend over a drink and some apps. It was a bit loud when I went on a weeknight around 8 pm but that is expected. Great wine selection by the glass and an even better menu by the bottle. Will definitely be going back -

I was staying at Sheraton Tribeca and this place popped up on a search for good wine/pizza place with bar seating. I was on my own and sat at the bar. Got the Montipulciana and pizza diavola. Both were delicious and bar tender was attentive. -
Review 54 (2016-06-07 - Rating: 5)
This is a great restaurant loved their food and wine. The staffs are fast and helpful. During the summer time they have out door seating which is great. I recommend trying the lamb chop which had good flavor and well balanced and also trying the crab cakes. Overall great wine bar and food. -

Review 56 (2016-11-29 - Rating: 5)
I love this restaurant. Its dimly lit with candles at every table. The wine is great and all the food Ive tried have been delicious and flavorful. The kale salad is wonderful and has great texture. Try the linguine with clams and the broccoli rabe. -
Review 57 (2016-10-17 - Rating: 5)
The place was really full when we got there, but they did find us a table right away. Due to the number of people in the space, it was quite noisy, but we were still able to hold a conversation. The food was excellent, I had the appetizer special of Burrata cheese for $21 and cheese tortellini with prosciutto, all pasta dishes are $14. -
Review 58 (2022-02-08 - Rating: 4)
Really good experience two consecutive nights.First night the cold cut & cheese platter, 2nd night pasta with shrimp and with italian sausage. All very tasty and with different wines accompanying. The “quartino” size is good for 2-3 people tasting. -

Review 66 (2017-01-03 - Rating: 4)
Very good food. We shared the warm octopus salad and tuna tartare specials. Highly recommend the octopus. For main course I had the skirt steak (bisteca). It was delicious, and a very generous serving. The total bill wasnt bad for Manhattan. Great for groups and many good options for vegetarians. -
Review 67 (2018-05-27 - Rating: 5)
I absolutely love tapas- this place just made me love it even more. I mean who doesnt like eating a million different plates? Especially when theyre so reasonably priced! This is a wonderful place especially for the summer, outdoor seating and open windows. They have small dishes and salad for $12 and pasta for $14, and other smaller side dishes/salumi for $7. Cheese is $6 and main dishes are different prices.Octopus Salad- 5/5 This was their specials and its one of my favorite dishes, so you know I had to get it. They do give you a decent portion and good enough to share for two. The octopus is perfectly made, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Its also very well seasoned and even the little veggies were great!Aragosta e Avocado ($12)- 5/5 This was basically lobster salad, Im not really sure where the avocado came in but it was still delicious. Very light and enjoyable- the lobster and the arugula were seasoned well and tasted amazing with a splash of lemon.Tuna Tartar- 4/5 They give you a quite generous portion of tuna on top of the avocado. Then like two toasted bread on top of the tuna and some oils and herbs on the side which tasted amazing. The tuna was fishy or stringy so that was good! -
Review 68 (2022-03-28 - Rating: 5)
I’ve been coming to Terra every other few weeks to enjoy a solo dinner. I always order their tuna tartare because it’s the best I’ve ever tried, and they definitely don’t spare fish. The wine selection is also great. My favorite about this place though is the atmosphere. Very lovely. Highly recommend! -
Review 69 (2022-02-23 - Rating: 5)
Came for a late lunch on Sunday (around 3) and they weren’t very busy. Staff is super nice. My waitress suggested a few dishes that were solid choices. There was a lot to choose from on the menu. I had a glass of the Gavi and Pinot Grigio. Both very good. We started with the grilled octopus salad and we’re surprised at what a large portion it was. My boyfriend ordered the mushroom fettuccine and also the branzino. Both were good. I must say, the mushroom risotto special was spectacular. Very pleased with the choice of restaurant. Clean and beautiful. -

Review 71 (2016-03-16 - Rating: 4)
We were on the look for a light Sunday meal and Terra Tribeca seemed like a good pick. Casual but still upscale enough for everyone’s taste. The cavernous dimly restaurant as a communal bar seating and table plus a downstairs and outside when the weather is nice. You are greeted immediately by the hostess upon entry. We chose a bar seat facing the large open window looking out into the city. The menu is simple here with small tapas style, salads, pasta and entrée dishes. We choose to go for the small dish route. Our bread and water came quickly after seating. The nice rustic Italian bread with olive oil dipping. Our stoically face waiter greeted gave us the specials, got the drinks and hurriedly off. He came back a few minutes later with wine and just enough time to pick our dishes. The food was very good. Each coming for us about 2 at a time which was nice. Enough to enjoy the bite sized meal and then the next. The lamb chops tender, the crab cakes crispy shell and soft on the inside. The Burrata with prosciutto was milky smooth and the cured salty was perfect with it. Where we sat was perfect for conversation but I imagine it would be a bit louder beyond. It was a nice evening meal. The stoic waiter was attentive but not necessarily amicable. Everything that came out of the kitchen was good. I’ll have to try the pasta dishes the next time we are there. -

We were a party of 6 and ordered many different dishes. We did like the Chichetti (aka tapas) approach and especially liked octopus salad, seafood fritto and Bruschetta ai Funghi.Burratta could have been served with a better (more ripe/tasty) tomato, but the prosciutto it was atop of was decent.Pasta dishes, branzino and lamb shank were great, as well. We brought our own cake to celebrate a birthday and paid $35 fee for it - a bit steep, but buying individual desserts would have cost as much. -

Our first time back since pandemic (so glad the restaurant is still here!). Our food was just as wonderful as we remembered. We started with Nero DAvola wine (my daughters fav!), gimlet, s. blanc and chianti. Drinks were nice size. Then, olives with feta (really nice feta, but olives do have pits), meatballs (a hit!).Entrees: pesto pasta with artichokes (so creamy), lobster ravioli (my adult son was over the moon with this! The ravioli was thick with nice size lobster pieces), gnocchi with marinara sauce (good, but would have preferred a creamy tomato sauce that is often served in gnocchi), octopus special (lots of potato chunks made it filling), truffle mac n cheese (very smooth, with nice amount of truffle flavor in the pasta and topping), & side of garlic spinach to round things out.We couldnt pass up dessert & had one of each: Cheesecake (really creamy, great texture and surprise creme brulee style topping & came with scoop of vanilla ice cream & a few perfect marinated strawberry slices, outstanding!), tiramisu (nice thick square, my son enjoyed every bite), choc soufflé with ice cream (my husband certainly enjoyed).Food was served quickly, too (which on the night before Thanksgiving was impressive) by a friendly server.Anyway, we will be back! Happy Thanksgiving- -

Italian small plates with a diverse menu and options for everyone. This is our new go-to weekend spot. They tend to get busy but also have a sister restaurant across the street for overflow. -
Review 87 (2021-12-14 - Rating: 5)
Tables are sat very close to each other to make more room for capacity I assume, so it may seem a bit hard to get around sometimes. Came here looking for the lamb chops I saw online but found out it’s not a main but an appetizer (had two orders of the same to make a main). Very delicious and staff allow you to split bills (based on what you ordered actually, not just splitting equally so we’re actually surprised)! -

OMG the food is amazing! So amazing that I ordered it several times when I was house sitting on the LES. Specifically, the pasta w/ clams still in the shell is perfectly cooked with a creamy sauce. The tuna tartare is so fresh and a really nice guacamole. Though, the 2 chips are a little too soft and could stand to be a little crispier. I adored the crab & shrimp cakes. The mushrooms and capers add such a wonderful specialness to this dish. Lastly, the chocolate lava cake with strawberries perfect way to end an evening. Though with delivery the whip cream didnt hold up. -

Incredible people working here and I love the vibe. Baratta is amazing, as is the manzo. I wouldnt come here for a full meal. You will enjoy it more with a drink and a few of their small plates. -

Found myself out on this cold December crowded evening with my husband. If it wasn’t for the Exceptional service of a very funny, tall gentleman with a great accent I would’ve only given one star for the mediocre food and overpriced wine. Jodie -

This Hilton Garden Inn has a nice view of the Stanton ferry and Governors island. It has a comfortable king bed with Keurig coffee in room and fresh coffee in the lobby in the mornings. They have a nice workout room and a restaurant on the 2nd floor and plenty of good restaurants near by. Recomend. -
