    👍👍👍The experience was genuinely remarkable! The steak boasts a tender and rich flavor that I find incredibly satisfying. I favor it cooked medium-rare, and this restaurant nails it perfectly. It practically melts in my mouth! The selection of appetizers is also quite impressive. The vibe of the restaurant is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. I will certainly return!🫶🏻

    We always have great time at The Capital Grille, and this time it wasnt any different. Very classy and elegant resturant, good for dates.The Kona-crusted NY steak was salty, and not the best I had at The Capital Grille, so I suggest you choose other steaks, their steaks are almost always great, juicy and tasty.The Salmon was delicious, although farmed and not a wild caught, and the portions are huge, providing good value for money. The fried calamari dish was gigantic, enough for 4 people as an appetizer.The staff were great as well, particularly Riya (I hope I got it right).The only thing negative I have is the lack of non-alcoholic drinks variety and mocktails.

    This was my first time dining at a Capital Grille and rest assured, IT LIVED UP TO ALL THE HYPE! NYC always has the best food, but the dishes we had here at their Wall Street location were phenomenal. I ordered ribeye steak and mashed potatoes, and I promise you, that was the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. The mashed potatoes may have been the best I’ve ever had, as well. We were also delighted with yummy lollipop lamb chops and calamari for our apps. I don’t even really like calamari, but, it was delish! For dessert, we had cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake. Not a huge fan of flourless chocolate cake, but that cheesecake was so divine, I’m still thinking about it now. Lol. On top of some of the best food I’ve ever had, the service was beyond five star. I am late to the party, but officially a huge fan of Capital Grille. Can’t wait to go again!

    Great service & delicious dishes. I’m giving it a 9 out of 10 because the complementary bread was not fresh at all. “Lobster & Crab Cakes” are one of the best crab cakes I have ever had. “Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails” is a small portion but both tenderloin and lobster were unexpectedly perfect, tender and almost melts in my mouth. What a great experience❤️

    Kyle’s service is so excellent this man needs to be promoted!!, if he isn’t in then I won’t come here.He is outstanding, I came here with my boyfriend and he gave me a rose for our anniversary. Shout out to his service!I had the lamb chops, spinach and crème brûlée.Quick and accurate as well.

    This spot is my staple. Food never dissapoints, my go-to Friday dine-in. The best service and staff. (Shout out to: Heidi David, John, Khalid) have tried every item on their menu and its always flavorful and delicious!! A definite try is their Lobster mac-n-cheese, their Au Gratin potatoes, their Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip with Shallot Butter, dessert a must try is their creme brulee and their coconut cream pie!

    Came here with my husband for my birthday and they surpassed all my expectations! They decorated our table and had a Birthday message waiting for me. Our server Frederick aka “Derick” was amazing as was the food from start to finish. He brought out their signature lobster mac and cheese along with our meals as a birthday treat. It’s definitely a must have! So creamy and flavorful! The dry aged steak was wonderful and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Thank you for making my birthday one to remember!

    Nice chain steakhouse that reopened earlier this year after 14 months due to fire damage. Steaks, appetizers were good. Nothing too impressive but servers were fast and food came out very quick which is always appreciated. Steak was cooked correctly at medium rare.

    I finally got the chance to experience restaurant week and picked the best place to start - The Capital Grille. The restaurant was beautiful, elegant and classic. In the historic Equitable Building, what was once a mighty bank vault is now the entrance to the private dinning rooms on the lower level. Just stunning, dont forget to check it out.For starters we ordered the Clam Chowder and Green Salad w/ Parmesan vinaigrette. The clam chowder was soft, creamy and had a substantial amount of clam in each bite. Now, Im a fan of green salads but this had to be the best salad dressing Ive ever had. I loveeeee Parmesan cheese and the vinaigrette was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I ate every single bite of the salad and really could gone for more.We ordered a Blackberry Bourbon cocktail and an Old Fashion. The blackberry bourbon drink was delish, just the right blend to accompany the mouth watering steak.We ordered just about the same thing, the Bone-In Dry Aged NY Strip 14oz, one with lobster, one with jumbo shrimp and both with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were just melt in your mouth creamy. It was such a great side to the steak. He ordered his steak medium and mine medium - rare. When they arrived to the table his steak wasnt cooked to his liking and the waiter Donavon noticed by the look on his face. Donavan asked him if he wanted to order another steak to his exact liking, he hesitated for a bit but then went with Donavons suggestion to eat the steak exactly the way you want it. Moments later Donavan returned with a steak cooked medium- rare that was exactly how he wanted. Thank goodness Donavan asked him a couple of times because it was really worth the extra little wait. I genuinely appreciated Donavans attention to detail and vibe. Donavan was just a delight, exceptional service, fun and very helpful. His service was 10/10.Oh and just when we thought we were done, the desserts arrived. Hello chocolate cakes! First bite into the cake and I knew this was the right decision. The cake was served with raspberries on the side which allowed for a wonderful blend of sweetness from the cake and a bit of tartness from the raspberry. I really didnt have enough space to finish the entire cake but I did my absolute best.I highly recommend this location we had a wonderful dining experience and cant wait to comeback.

    Had an amazing experience. Dined for Restaurant Week Winter 2020. The food was delicious as well as the drinks. It was my colleagues birthday. I mentioned in the reservations if they could put a candle on her cake when it was time for dessert. They went above and beyond by firstly giving her a hand written card, birthday confetti on the table, and then bringing out a sampler of their chocolate cake and cheesecake with candles on top of the dessert that was part of the pre-fixe menu. To top it off, they brought us champagne on the house to toast to her birthday. With such an amazing experience I intend to return to celebrate my birthday or anniversary. Shoutout to Cisse and Rebecca for their hospitality and smiles. Theyre a great duo.

    Went for the takeout restaurant week special for $20.21, & got the burger with fries! 🍔 🍟. YUM! Cooked to perfection & my order was ready the second I walked into the door & was within the estimated time of readiness. Service interaction was wonderful! Typically when I can dine in, I order the lobster mac & steak au poivre with a side of mash. Always a winner to me! Cant wait for indoor dining again. Miss the ambiance of this place! Highly recommend & will always be back.

    Very good dining experience, even in the context of premium prices.Cozy and elegant VENUE. Well spaced tables with many configurations available. Attentive service.Everything is very good and well presented, even the bread!I enjoyed the bacon appetizer and lobster Mac n cheese (must haves). Very good tomahawk steak.Also good: mash potatoes, calamari, mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto.

    WOW, Wow, wow. Spectacular Dinner. Everything was delicious, from the lobster Bisque, the potatoes au gratin, grilled asparagus, omg, the best, melt in your mouth Rib eye steak Ive ever had, topped with lump crabmeat & lobster, all the way to the best tasting cheese cake & espresso cake, served w/fresh seasonal berries. We were celebrating our 41st anniversary & having a fantastic time. We were beyond stuffed after dinner, however, Zack, our friendly server insisted we try the delicious complimentary dessert he had for us. Im ashamed at how we scraped the desert plate clean. Lol. Smh.

    Had a great time tonight. I met new people, and the bartenders and staff were all very nice. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is perfect. From the unobtrusive lighting to the dark wood throughout, the entire background is meant to give you a sense of intimacy, even if the bar is standing room only. I met a few great people, and was well taken care of by the bartender. The drinks moved very well, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and my Thursday night was made all the better by coming here. Highly recommend!

    I had a great experience dining at Capital Grille Wall Street location. It reopened after closing for renovation awhile. It continued to impress me with delicious food, great dining environment and great customer service. Whether it is for birthday dinner or date night, my wife and I always had a good time and were taken care of by the staff. Capital Grille does a good job and this location is better than ever.

    Went on a Saturday (it was my actual birthday) with my girlfriend whose birthday was actually two days prior. Kyle, was extra attentive, letting us know about the menu and making recommendations. He was even kind enough to be sure to include my girlfriend in the celebration. Our steaks (22oz rib eye and 10oz filet mignon) were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The lobster mac was savory, crunchy and full of lobster. Cream spinach, lobster bisque did NOT disappoint. Kudos to the bartender for making two exceptional French 75s for my girlfriend. Going on a weekend was a great idea (except for parking) because you get a more intimate setting, away from the hustle and bustle of going during the week. Be sure to ask for Kyle, as he covered all bases and made the experience amazing. Thanks Kyle!

    Booked the Capital Grille for a business lunch and was seated in a private room in the vault. Front desk staff was a little abrasive.... but the wait staff was wonderful- they were attentive and helpful without being overly present while we discussed business. The food was very good. This restaurant is perfect for business or pleasure. Overall nice experience and will be back.

    Great restaurant especially being part of a chain. This is one of my goto restaurant in the financial district. I been here many times and also been to the one in midtown. This location is way better than the one in midtown. The food, especially the steaks, are cooked to perfection. The wait staff are always great. If you enjoy steak but don’t eat lots of meat, I recommend coming here on restaurants’s week. The size of their steak is perfect for those who doesn’t want to consume too much meat.

    We ate there last night during restaurant week. The food and service were excellent. The steak was tender and flavorful, there were several types of homemade warm, dinner rolls, and the portion sizes were generous. Our waiter was the best. He checked on us often but not too often. We were not rushed. He removed dishes and tidied up the table at appropriate times. I definitely recommend the Capital Grille!

    We were celebrating as a family and decided to come to The Capital Grille for a meal.In terms of service, we were well taken care of by the staff. But, our menu items did not show up in time. One appetizer came out, French Onion Soup, and the rest did not show up until the main course. It’s odd to not enjoy the meal in stages, especially in a fine dining restaurant like this.Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal, from steaks, tuna tartare, creamed spinach. I’m one of two vegan / vegetarians at the table, and I was easily accommodated. I asked my server to give me the fields green salad as my main with added avocado and mango, and balsamic on the side.Overall, it was my first time here and I understand that some nights do not go smoothly. The staff here was wonderful and made up for cracks.

    The ambience and the service was great. The bread on the table is great too.However, the truth is the steak wasn’t so great. My friend ordered a filet mignon and it was both overcooked and dry. Surprisingly, it was the worst piece of meat when it was supposed to be the most tender. The two other pieces, a dry aged NY strip and the rib eye were average. They didn’t excel in their flavours and the rib eye was very chewy and fatty. The best piece of the table was the lamb chop, but this shouldn’t have been the case for a steakhouse.The seafood starter was not fresh. The lobster tails and the shrimps tasted out of season. I would not recommend ordering.I really wanted to try this restaurant and after this experience I have to sadly admit that it is bot worth spending for a fine dining experience if the quality of the food is fluctuating and leaning toward the lower end. We spent $120 per person.

    Came here for a corporate dinner of 65ppl. Service was incredible and good was delicious! I was doing some filming and they delayed and held my ribeye steak for me. Came out perfectly. Desert was really good too with. A trio of cake, creme brulee and cheese cake.

    Is this a steak deserving 5 stars? Yes! Is is the best steak I have ever had and I cant wait to go back? Its not. Good steak, reasonable prices. The veal was unbelievable definetly worth a try.     Legitimately the best meal Ive had! I had the Sea Bass with Shiitake mushrooms and asparagus.. it was topped with a rich butter sauce which was AMAZING. Everything went so well together it was great. If you are choosing between one of the sides, choose the mashes potatoes!! I dont know how they do, but these potatoes are so creamy and not gooey. Our waiter Sam was also great. So genuine, helpful and overall just so great at his job. Had an amazing experience here, and will definitely come back when visiting NYC again.

    The level of service was excellent. Very polite and accommodating staff. Food was very tasty. Would recommend the clam chowder, crème brûlée cheesecake and Ribeye. The sides are excellent.     I was blown away with the decor, the ambience and even the smell of this place lol. From the detailed walls to the bronze eagle statues throughout, it was breathtaking.I had the seared sea bass it was fresh, a thick-cut portion of the fish, was moist inside plus the top and bottom of the fish had this thin, flavorful crust that I will not forget.The staff were attentive, kind and were happy to serve you. The host that check me in came over to me while sitting to ask if the service is good. I really appreciated that. Cheers the my host Eden, she’s amazing!GO HERE!

    Ive been a big fan of this place since they opened in 2009. It gets really busy here. The service at this location is good. The servers are always prompt and accommodating. Theres sometimes a wait to be seated, but this is a busy location. The safe is so cool.Both, the New England clam chowder and white cheddar potato soup are really good. The sliced filet mignon entree is delicious. Even the sides of mashed pots and corn are so good. Regardless what entree I order, I always order a side of the grilled asparagus with it.

    Since I work down the street, Ive done quite a few lunches here. The steaks are good, though not as good as S&W or Wolfgangs. Where the steaks are lacking, the cheeseburger is simply amazing. Its huge, juicy (get it medium), and the dijon mustard brings it all together. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, but its not cheap to eat here.

    Honestly, the best steak Ive ever had! My boyfriend and I visited NYC from Toronto. We decided we wanted to go to a fancy fine dining restaurant. His sister recommended Capital Grille and I couldnt be any happier with our experience. It was our anniversary and our server brought us complimentary champagne, - dessert as well. When we first sat down at the table there was a card wishing us a happy anniversary. From finish to end the service was too perfect.

    We recently had our wedding reception dinner at the Capital Grille on Wall Street and it was nothing short of amazing! The marketing manager, Jaime, was a delight to work with, and she was able to accommodate every request we had. The food, service and staff were fantastic. The night could not have gone better, and all of our wedding guests agreed. They are sure to find the Capital Grille closest to them for their next steak dinner. Cant thank the staff enough for making our evening incredible.

    Capital Grill does not disappoint. It’s a regular dinner spot for us back in Atlanta where we live. This time though, I met a friend for lunch. I’d never been in for lunch, so it was nice to grab a burger and see what that was about. Really solid.. as if I needed another reason to go!

    The food was so good that I didnt even stop to take pictures. Now thats saying something, for me. I got the filet mignon with pureed potatoes and sauteed Brussels sprouts. Im not sure what the Brussels sprouts were cooked in but they had kind of a sweet flavor that was just delicious. The potatoes were just perception. The steak was good, however, I think I ruined it by asking for it medium well. I was hoping that it would have been a bit more moist. Next time I will ask for medium. As an appetizer, the potato leek soup is a great choice. It has a rich flavor and they add just a hint of sour cream. But the real king of the menu, in my opinion, is the truffle parmesan fries. They are everything good in life. Trust me. The dessert menu had a decent selection. I had the coconut cream pie. I would absolutely recommend this dessert in particular if youre looking for something light to finish off your meal. Its not too rich and goes perfect with coffee. The wait staff were great. Extremely attentive and polite. Looking forward to my next dining experience here.

    I enjoy this place and sometimes.would come for lunch. The Salmon Avocado Tomato Salad is my go to. Tonight I decided to come for dinner and chose the Sea Bass. I was blown away. The miso butter was rich yet light and paired well with the shitake mushrooms, asparagus and the sweet bass that had the perfect crisp on one side.The coconut cream pie is a must WHEN you come.

    Definitely one of the best steak dinners Ive ever had. If you find yourself near a Capital Grille do yourself a favor and go in!!! Even though theyre a steakhouse the crab cakes app were amazing, we also order the lamb chops for the table not listed as an app but definitely works well as one (you get 4 pieces I believe). My wife had the salmon (I know, I know) but in all fairness probably was one of the better cooked salmon weve tried even comapred to some seafood restaurants. I had the seared tenderloin with poached lobster tail and all I can say is OMG!!! And the MVP of the menu our friend ordered the rib eye and yea we all had try a piece and unanimously agreed it surpassed all expectations. If youre at the Wall Street location ask for Donovan, he knows the menu well and wines even better!!!

    Have never had a bad meal at Capital Grille (any of them - in five different cities). Steak was perfectly cooked (I love the peppercorn encrusted steak with the brandy cream sauce). Family enjoyed some snapper (very good) and the kona crusted steak (this one is definite a winner as well - complex flavors). We got a little asparagus as a side, a little salad and then lobster bisque too (yeah that as tasty).

    I got a salad to start. I have never tasted a better vinaigrette. I couldnt decide between the filet mignon and the salmon, do I got both with a side of mash potatoes. I feel almost dizzy with how good the filet is. The salmon tastes like Atlantic salmon but its still cooked to perfection. I almost moaned out loud while eating. My server, Max, had given me completely honest and true commentary on the dishes. I definitely plan on coming back. Maybe having parties here, important dinners. My damn wedding reception. Might even give birth here while Im at it.Downstairs there is a honest to god bank vault door. The bathrooms are spotless. This visit was a spur of the moment thing and it isnt cheap, but it is well worth the price. Get Max a raise.

    I actually was at the Capital Grille by Wall Street, it was very hard to find the location and I had to ask several people for the restaurant. I went to a luncheon here and it started with the frozen shrimp-the waiters figured 1 each. This was a table of 8. Next they came out with steak which was awesome but a bit spicy. I enjoyed the potato au gratin I did have to ask the staff for water and others kept waiting for their drinks.

    Came here for my boys bachelor weekend, the food is fantastic. The filet mignon looks like that steak that Cipher eats in the Matrix. Shared lobster Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes with my friends. Cheese puffs and champagne on the house. Our waiter Elie was incredibly professional and helpful, and the hostesses Cara and Maggie helped me get my hat back when I left it there. Love it
