We went there on a Sunday around 6 pm. The place was pretty packed and we waited in a waiting list for around 30 minutes because we did not make a reservation. (We went to walk at Times Square in the meantime). When in the restaurant we sat on the second floor and all looked pretty tight. The servers were very attentive with everything we needed. We ordered wine, a platter of cheeses, hams and prosciutto as well as fried calamari as an appetizer which was all delicious. For the main course we ordered gnocchi, ravioli, spaghetti carbonara, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken Parm and all were delicious. In conclusion all was amazing. Pretty good restaurant.

We dine here every year when we visit NYC and the food is fantastic every time . I can’t give it high enough praise. This is our favorite restaurant in the city.

  • Review 3 (2024-09-25 - Rating: 5)

Excellent service, and equally good food! If your server recommends a special, get it! Its not like places that put on a special because they need to move product. Its because they got something special for a particular dish on a particular day. Every course was fantastic. Servers are fabulous, and the menu offers a selection for every taste.

  • Review 4 (2024-12-29 - Rating: 5)

Drinks are really good and so was Pizza. We did not have any reservations as we walked in but they accommodated.

  • Review 5 (2024-11-25 - Rating: 5)

With reservations, 5pm for a party of 10 after RadioCity Christmas Spectacular. We were seated upstairs immediately & comfortably at one table with a clean restroom nearby. Server was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Each person in our party ordered different dinners and every single one was amazing. The desserts were incredible.Highly recommend as an easy walk from Times Square area, accommodating for large groups, and absolutely delicious. Will return.

  • Review 6 (2024-09-25 - Rating: 5)

Excellent in all senses! Clean and comfortable, great service, fantastic food. Feels like Italy.

  • Review 7 (2023-11-20 - Rating: 5)

This is our go to restaurant in midtown and today did not disappoint. We went after a broadway show and had a reservation. We were greeted by the host and seated promptly. All of our servers were friendly and attentive. All of our meals were excellent. We had the caprice salad, fried mozzarella for appetizers. For main courses we had chicken Parmigiana, rigatoni with vodka sauce and Chicken Fantasia all of which were excellent. I would highly recommend Trattoria Trecolori for a great meal at reasonable prices.

  • Review 8 (2024-03-11 - Rating: 5)

I had a pre-show dinner at this place tonight. Very friendly service. The soup was ok, and the linguine nere was pretty good. Especially the squid was perfectly cooked, with great texture. The pasta sauce was simple and beautiful: tomato sauce with onion, garlic, and fresh herbs.

  • Review 9 (2021-05-12 - Rating: 5)

Stopped here for lunch and it was exactly what we were looking for! They had a clean outdoor dining space and the inside was beautiful. The homemade pasta and imported meats and cheese were delicious, and we found all of our dishes to be so flavorful. Our server was excellent and our food came out quickly. I will be recommending this spot and will be sure to come back on my future NYC visits!

  • Review 10 (2024-04-01 - Rating: 4)

My steak was a bit overdone but was still tender. Other dishes were good as well. In total we ordered steak, salmon, and chicken alfredo dishes. I recommend this place if ever in the Time Square area and in the mood for Itailian.

  • Review 11 (2023-01-18 - Rating: 5)

We arrived close to 4pm on a Wednesday. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was well staffed, staff was friendly, responsive and respectful. The food was amazing! Being vegetarians, we ordered pasta with mushroom. Both orders were delicious. We had Tiramisu for dessert, it was light yet heavenly.Would definitely return.

  • Review 12 (2025-01-03 - Rating: 4)

An old style Italian restaurant with great food and good service. Just give yourself plenty of time because it takes forever for the entrees to be brought to the table. Also, make sure you’re not too hungry because the portions are just ok.

  • Review 13 (2023-11-17 - Rating: 5)

Incredible experience at Trattoria Trecolori. Amazing service and atmosphere. The food was as good as it gets for Italian food in the US. The rigatoni was excellent. The chocolate mousse cake was fantastic. When I come back to NYC, I will do my best to return!

  • Review 14 (2023-03-13 - Rating: 4)

Superb Italian food right in the theater district. Great for a quick bite before a show. Wasnt overpriced like most suchi places. Great service too.The sea bass just just perfection.

  • Review 15 (2018-09-03 - Rating: 5)

Trattoria Trecolori filled our hearts and our stomachs! The service was exceptional. We called an hour ahead to reserve a table for 10 people, and it was no issue for them. The waiter recommended some delicious dishes for us that we all devoured. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our experience at Trattoria Trecolori.

  • Review 16 (2023-12-17 - Rating: 5)

We decided to celebrate my wifes birthday at this restaurant before heading to a Broadway show, and it turned out to be an incredible dining experience. The food surpassed all expectations and can easily be considered some of the best Ive ever had. From the mouthwatering Fettucini Alfredo and Gnochi with homemade noodles and sauce to the heavenly tiramisu and lattes, every dish was simply out of this world. Carlos, our waiter, along with the rest of the wait staff, provided impeccable service, showing great attentiveness to our needs. Without a doubt, we will be returning to this restaurant when we visit again.

  • Review 17 (2023-12-04 - Rating: 5)

I stopped in here on a whim before a show across the street and so glad I did. I was just looking for a quick, light lunch. I was able to get 2 seats at the bar. We ordered a few appetizers and dessert. The charcuterie was fresh and had a great selection of meats and cheeses. But the real star of the show was the frutti di mare. The service was excellent and so were the prices. It was clean and cozy inside. Highly recommend!

  • Review 18 (2023-11-06 - Rating: 5)

Enjoyed a spectacular, soul-warming dinner here at 8pm on a Sunday without a reservation - the place was buzzing, but we still didnt have to wait to get a table. You can taste the freshness and care in every dish. This is Italian food done right - bringing out the exquisite quality of simple ingredients without needing to be overly fussy. Service was wonderfully attentive.

  • Review 19 (2024-12-21 - Rating: 5)

All of our meals were exceptional. The cheese tortellini with ham and peas in a cream sauce was the best!

  • Review 20 (2023-02-22 - Rating: 5)

Trattoria Trecolori has become the go to place for us before any Broadway show! Every time we go the food & service is always top notch. Tonight we started off with the Fritto Misto and it was perfect. Nice and crispy with a delicious dipping sauce. I had never tried their chicken parm and I wanted to give it a shot. I was able to ask for a special request which was to switch the marinara sauce to vodka instead. No issues whatsoever. Highly recommend dining here, will be a staple of our Broadway show tradition!

  • Review 21 (2021-08-12 - Rating: 5)

Food is amazing! Prices are reasonable for its location and the atmosphere. Not oily like typical American Italian restaurants. The Fettuccini Alfredo, I added grilled chicken. The chicken is tender and seasoned just right.Services is very good! Everything is clean and neat!

  • Review 22 (2022-08-18 - Rating: 5)

We were in NYC for a day and decided to go to Traytoria Trecolori for dinner. The whole experience was amazing. Beautiful decor and the food was so, so good. Hubby ordered the soup of the day which included muscles in the shell - exactly like how they serve muscle soup in Italy. The drinks were good as well. Our waiter made the entire dinner fabulous.

  • Review 23 (2024-03-03 - Rating: 5)

Stopped in Saturday evening after show around 6pm it was very busy but enjoyed dinner at the bar would recommend a reservation. Food tasted delicious and service was very good really enjoyed dinner.

  • Review 24 (2022-12-04 - Rating: 5)

We went for lunch and sat at the bar. Greeted by an outstanding and funny bartender. Started with a Peroni. We ordered the cheese tortellini and chicken alfredo. The tortellini was accent with ham and peas and the chicken on the alredo was nice and thin. One of the servers brought us some complimentary bread. The service was exceptional. When our entrees arrived we were offered fresh parmesan and cracked black pepper. The sauce was light and delicious. We finished our meal as is appropriate with a lemoncello. We would definitely return and were impressed with the professional and efficient staff.

  • Review 25 (2023-08-12 - Rating: 5)

Ordered the Martini Veal, and it was so very good. We had no reservations, so were seated at the bar, but we had very good service nonetheless. The draft Peroni needed a little attention from the deft barman. However, they were a great accompaniment to the veal. Highly recommended, I would definitely do again.

  • Review 26 (2024-08-14 - Rating: 5)

Ive been to this restaurant twice with a good friend of mine who recommended it. I must say it is excellent on all levels. The drinks, the food, the service, the atmosphere are all excellent. Special shout-out to the bartender/waiter, Gustavo.

  • Review 27 (2024-10-19 - Rating: 4)

The service was great. I thought the food overall was good, but I didn’t love my dish, the garganelli alla trecolori, and I’m not a picky eater. My husband raved about his chicken dish. I’d still go back and order something else.

  • Review 28 (2024-10-26 - Rating: 5)

Despite the long private party taking longer from leaving the establishment, which caused seating delays, we had a wonderful meal and great service. Would highly recommend but please make reservations and make sure there are no private events before your seating time.

  • Review 29 (2021-10-05 - Rating: 5)

Convenient location, delicious food and reasonable prices. We had meat Lasagna and squid-ink pasta ( I dont remember what the name is). They both were amazing. The pasta came with a lot of seafood. The pasta sauce was so yummy. No condiments needed. Highly recommend if you visit Time square area.

  • Review 30 (2023-03-11 - Rating: 4)

The place is nice. For the location near times square this is one of the most decent. The food can be hit and miss but overall it was decent. The prices match the quality.

  • Review 31 (2024-10-02 - Rating: 5)

Came here for dinner before a broadway play. Food was exceptional. Wine selections were good. The fried seafood appetizer platter was very good. The caprese was good, though could have used more fresh basil and oil. House made red sauce and gnocchi were to die for. Don’t leave without getting an affogato-wonderfully delicious restaurant and friendly and attentive staff.

  • Review 32 (2024-10-02 - Rating: 5)

When we arrived and look the outside it doesn’t seems very nice but when we entered the restaurant it’s very nice and cozy. Our waiter Jose was professional, friendly and helpful. Food was awesome! Five star for sue!

  • Review 33 (2024-09-14 - Rating: 5)

Ordered pick up, of Chicken Parm. Truly wonderful. Fantastic flavor, chicken cooked perfectly, loved the sauce and fresh melted parmesean cheese. Spaghetti cooked perfectly too- and they very generously included some bread and a lot of shredded parm separately for the pasta.Food was ready within 10 minutes and thought it was wonderful quality for the price.

  • Review 34 (2023-03-01 - Rating: 5)

The service and food are 10/10 stars. Such a Warm happy greeting from the staff and service. The chicken francese over linguini, chicken fettuccine Alfredo was so damn good it made everyones eyeballs roll backwards. The bread basket was warm and dense and chewy I wanted the whole basket all to myself. Lol. The crispy seafood appetizer was so crispy yet light and airy I didnt even feel guilty eating it. 10/10 x 10000000!!!!!!! Will be back

  • Review 35 (2021-08-20 - Rating: 4)

Overall a good experience, they were very accommodating to my friends dietary preferences and modified the food accordingly. Good food and atmosphere. Took off a star because a wow element was definitely missing.

  • Review 36 (2019-05-18 - Rating: 5)

This is a superb traditional Italian restaurant just off of Broadway and Times Square. The pasta is made in house, the recipes are from the familys father who was born in Italy, and the result is some of the best Italian food this side of the Atlantic. Reservations are recommended, as are the specials of the day. The bread they serve is soft and still hot from the oven, there are several varieties of olives brought to the table, and while it is busy it is not so loud that you cant have a good conversation at dinner. We will be back.

  • Review 37 (2022-02-28 - Rating: 5)

Have to love a straight up Italian food restaurant that gets it right. We stopped in tonight for dinner and had their chicken parmigiana and special of the day, ravioli del Giorno.Chicken Parm (with spaghetti) was crispy on the outside and just right inside, great sauce and cheese and the plate sizing was on point. The ravioli with its pesto-esque sauce was very tasty as well, and new to both of us. It really worked well and the flavors were rich and very good. The tiramisu for dessert was delicious and light and fluffy. The sorbet was a somewhat odd combo of coconut, mango and raspberry, and wasnt my favorite rendition. The raspberry had an odd flavor at first, then seemed to morph a bit into almost a medicine-y taste. The coconut was sort of a Pina colada type of flavor. The mango was good, the best of the three imho.Overall, really excellent service, very nice dinner, recommend, just perhaps a different dessert than the sorbetto. The core, most important dishes were really great!

  • Review 38 (2021-12-24 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely phenomenal dinner here. We just flew in to town from Florida and after a long day of travel this dinner was absolutely perfect.Just to start because theyre the unsung heroes, the staff was amazing. Not only our server but all the staff from the hostess to the bussers, even the owner (found out after he was the owner when I talked to him) served our drinks. The found was absolutely outstanding. Specials were wonderful, a tortellini soup that was superb and my wife got the ravolis pictured here that she loved. I got the chicken fantasia, fresh mozzarella and asparagus cooked perfectly with extremely tender chicken and a wonderful sauce, noodles cooked perfectly al dente. Also, the old fashioned was mixed extremely well, the second I ordered was a little stronger, not that I minded but the mix wasnt exactly consistent but both were delicious. However, overall the highlight of the place was how well they accommodated our child. Hes 4, almost 5 as hell tell you. This place does not have any form of kids menu and really any options for children, yet they got him a special cup for his water with a lid and straw, served him apple juice in a rocks glass which he loved cause it was a glass Just like dada but they got him a half portion spaghetti, treated him like he was any other patron, looked at him like another customer not just the kid with the family. There was another family there that I could see was getting similar treatment as well. For a place that may not be aimed at families with kids specifically, they went above and beyond and my son absolutely loved that he was treated like an adult at the table. It might not be the same effect for everyone but the fact that they did and it made his night he was extactic. Were only here for four days and he already asked if we could come back tomorrow, he was actually upset when we told him they were closed on Christmas eve and day. Told him we might on Sunday if we have time after our show.Lastly, something that really impressed me, we came in not knowing the quality of the place or what to expect, just pulled it off of Google. This restaurant has some class to it, the decor is great, it has a cozy feel, and we came in a little dressed down for being on flights all day, Ive been to restaurants that I came in looking a little out of dress for it before and gotten the cold shoulder, slow service, rude behavior, etc. Even dressed down and somewhat disheveled from a day of travel, we were treated wonderfully, which truly says something about the staff and management. That they truly care about their customers.I dont know when Ill be back in NYC but I can say next time I do I will go out of my way to come here. If youre looking for a place thats not in the touristy area of Times Square, only a short walk, easy to make even with a four year old, this is the place to go.

  • Review 39 (2020-02-15 - Rating: 4)

In the heart of Broadway. A warm stop on a cold night! Super service, attentive and swift (so you won’t miss your show)! Delicious home cooked Italian food specials, hot coffee and special desserts! Enjoy!

  • Review 40 (2018-12-21 - Rating: 5)

Centrally located Italian restaurant. Celebrated Birthday here. Calamari was delicious and fresh. White wine went really well with clams linguine pasta. Carbonara pasta was delicious too. Ended with tiramisu. Risotto was delicious as well. Enjoyed our meal.

  • Review 41 (2022-08-01 - Rating: 4)

Normal Italian food, better then some big famous Italian restaurants around, not better than some other Italian restaurant around. If you just want to eat, it’s a good choice. Prices are fair. I’d even say that for the location midtown it was a bit cheaper then other restaurants we went. Food was simple but tasty enough. Service was fine. We booked a table for 7 in the same day, for a quite late (9:45 pm) time, because we came from a Broadway show, so we needed to order the food quite fast, because we were informed the kitchen was closing. I believe they close early so it wouldn’t be my option to come back after another Broadway show. Nevertheless we had a good diner time.

  • Review 42 (2017-10-02 - Rating: 5)

Honestly I am super picky and this meal was amazing. So fresh. Homemade desert and prices were very fair. Highly recommend. Been to NYC three times now staying in this Area in particular and it’s been the best meal

  • Review 43 (2024-12-28 - Rating: 5)

The chicken parmesan was out of this world, will definitely come back and I would recommend to anyone looking for that authentic Italian taste!

  • Review 44 (2018-08-09 - Rating: 5)

Came here based on Yelp and we were not disappointed. Located in the heart of the theatre district, it’s easy to think of this as another tourist trap, but the food was excellent. Typical ambiance for the area, but the food was amazing. We started with the pasta fagioli soup and the minestrone. Both were rich and flavorful. The minestrone was light and brothy while the pasta fagioli was savory and rich. For our entrees we had the rigatoni with sausage and the tortellini. The rigatoni was a little overwhelmed by the pesto flavor, but the tortellini was light and delicious. It was perfectly balanced without being too heavy given it was a cream based sauce. Would highly recommend it and will be back next time!

  • Review 45 (2024-01-04 - Rating: 5)

By far my favorite restaurant on the planet. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. As Sollazzo said in The Godfather Try the veal. Its the best in the City.

  • Review 46 (2022-10-29 - Rating: 4)

Excellent restaurant for Italian food in Times Square. The staff were excellent very friendly but were not over zealous during the meal. The gratuity was included in the final bill already so that was nice. Food was very reasonably priced but 4* as I felt the beer was a little on the pricey side. Food was top notch though. Highly recommended

  • Review 47 (2023-12-26 - Rating: 5)

This place is amazing!! I came here with my boyfriend and his family. There were 9 of us. I ordered linguini alfredo and it was soo good. Definitely the best alfredo I‘ve ever had from a restaurant. My boyfriend ordered some lamb chops which were also really good. His family all loved their food. This place is pricey but it‘s definitely worth the money.

  • Review 49 (2020-02-20 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 50 (2022-04-11 - Rating: 4)

    - 👍🏼 NOT A TOURIST TRAP - authentic Italian trattoria. Wood sounding floors reflected with warm yet bright dichroic lighting. Tables full with patrons whom you may notice true Italians in their eat. Nice and fast service. Very impressed to find such a decent Italian restaurant in such a touristic area. We were passing by, hangry stopped and got really lucky. Cuore felice a pancia piena.Carpaccio fresh, fresh and tasty pecorino on top. Carbonara, not quite the real deal but a nice try. At least it was made with egg yolk although cream was added for consistency.

  • Review 51 (2022-04-12 - Rating: 5)

Great pasta and risotto, and also a wide range of selection for cocktails, beers and wines!I would recommend the Risotto Del’ Giorno the most!It is filled with lots of seafood and the sauce is creamy and refreshing with tomato sauce.I would also recommend their beer as it is rather cheap and comes with a reasonable portion. The service is pretty good as well, we had a good time having dinner at the bar seat. The price is not cheap but still reasonable though (30-40 after tax and tips for a dish).Still a recommended restaurant near Time Square :)

  • Review 71 (2022-10-11 - Rating: 4)

I visited on a Sunday night. The linguine Neri was really good and the portion was larger than expected. I wasn’t table to eat it all. I’m only giving 4 starts instead of 5 because of their napkins material. I wore a black dress and when I removed the napkin from my lap I was covered in white particles. This wasn’t my last stop for the night so it out a hamper on things.

  • Review 72 (2019-06-27 - Rating: 5)

Excellent, from the service to the meal. Server was attentive and very nice. The Grouper with Linguini was delicious, as was the Fettuccine with Portobello. As was the Caeser salad. Tip: you can ask for half sizes, which was perfect for me.

  • Review 73 (2018-03-24 - Rating: 4)

  • Review 76 (2020-02-25 - Rating: 5)

The squid ink seafood pasta was WELL worth the $29!! I only ate the seafood off the top and didnt even finish it, it was soo much food. I now have at least two more meals. The aperol spritz was very tasty as well! They also give you olives and bread to start. Highly recommended for people eating alone in New York during the week (me, because I was attending a conference), as sitting at the bar was perfect

  • Review 77 (2023-02-14 - Rating: 5)

Unexpected find. We got a last minute reservation. Vaccination evidence is required. The food was amazing and the service too.

  • Review 86 (2023-09-20 - Rating: 5)

You cant be disappointed with this restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely and warm. The staff is welcoming. The food is delicious. We ate here twice in three days and between us tried the fish special, lemon veal, carbonara, parmagiana, and appetizer board. Nothing failed to impress. Their house beer - 1905 - is great. The house Cabernet is perfectly suited to the menu. Take the staff recommendations and you wont go wrong. Our experience with Carlos and Nancy was superior. Perfect timing and attention. If this restaurant was in my town wed eat there three times a week.

Delicious Italian food in the heart of the theater district. We sat at the bar, and service was fast, friendly and attentive. The rigatoni is delicious and warming.

  • Review 92 (2023-11-07 - Rating: 5)

Our celebration at Trattoria Trecolori was absolutely fantastic! The ambiance was perfect, with a warm and elegant setting that made our group feel right at home. The attentive and friendly staff added to the experience, making sure we had everything we needed. But the highlight of the night was the food. The shrimp cocktail and truffle-infused mushroom bruschetta were personal favorites. The service even surprised us with a delightful birthday cake.We highly recommend it for any special occasion or a memorable night out.

  • Review 93 (2022-05-27 - Rating: 5)

Spectacular food and service. Nice atmosphere and close to the theaters. We loved it!

  • Review 94 (2024-05-30 - Rating: 4)

Food and service were great. Really loud due to acoustics and closely spaced tables. Reasonably priced by new york standards.

  • Review 95 (2022-09-08 - Rating: 5)

Cocktails were top shelf. Spaghetti carbonara was fantastic, as well as, Chicken Parmesan. Chicken was tenderized to very thin constancy, with a delicious sauce…

  • Review 96 (2023-10-13 - Rating: 5)

The food is unbelievable. The pasta was perfect. The service was meh to the point where I thought for sure gratuity was going to be included automatically. The tables are pretty close together, but not unbearably so. It is a bit expensive, but no more than I would expect for a nice Italian restaurant in Manhattan. Definitely worth trying once for yourself just for the food alone.

Excellent Gluten Free Options. Pastas & Service

  • Review 98 (2023-01-28 - Rating: 4)

Respectable Italian food with very efficient and professional service.

  • Review 99 (2023-11-13 - Rating: 5)

We made reservations for 5 about 75 minutes before a weeknight Broadway show. The service was spot on, the portions were just right, everything tasted great, and it was surprisingly affordable. The lighting, decor, and music volume was all right where it needed to be to have a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Our server was attentive and our food came out with plenty of time to get to our show. We got the fantasia (Chicken Francese), gnocci, lasagna, and seafood salad. My whole party enjoyed their meals. We all got the mini canoli to top off dinner with a sweet bite, and that was perfect. I have a sensitive stomach sometimes and everything sat just right with me for the show too.

  • Review 100 (2024-06-11 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 101 (2023-06-03 - Rating: 5)

I was a solo traveler in NYC, and I went to this restaurant given its proximity to my hotel. What a gem! Everyone was so friendly, and I met a bunch of similar solo travelers at the bar where there was easy conversation (not something guaranteed when you’re traveling alone). The server at the bar was fantastic! He was very attentive despite the busy crowd, and he persuaded me to try a different dessert compared to what I originally was going to choose. I’m glad I listened to his recommendation! All in all, I found this Italian restaurant to be a welcoming, warm place where you feel right at home!

  • Review 102 (2023-06-15 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 103 (2022-10-24 - Rating: 5)

Sooooo delicious. The music was a little loud. My water was refilled multiple times. Get the carbonara.

  • Review 104 (2024-11-26 - Rating: 5)

Great food. Great carbonara and chicken parm.

  • Review 105 (2022-06-22 - Rating: 5)

What a great place to get dinner before catching a show!! Nice ambiance and a good menu. I made a same-day reservation and they had a table ready for us when we got there. Food is good quality and tastes great. This night, we had the special which was ravioli with a pistachio pesto cream sauce. We also ordered the veal parmigiana. Portions are perfect: not too large but youre definitely not leaving hungry. Of course there are better and more authentic Italian places in Manhattan, but this place fully succeeds for what it is. The real standout here is the service! You get 5 Star fine dining service here. They treat each customer like a VIP guest. A very nice restaurant where you can go and feel like you had nice night out and you will not break the bank.

This was an excellent place to go after a show, the service is amazing for how packed the place can be and the food is consistently impressive. It could easily fall into (and live on) the tourist idea of New York but it doesn’t it is just great food at a completely fair price not falling into traps that would be reliable but are not going to gain a ton of repeat visitors.

  • Review 124 (2022-02-08 - Rating: 5)

I hadn’t been here since before the pandemic when I was still working in midtown. It had always been our go to spot for Italian food in the area. Glad to say it was still just as good, if not better! The food was delicious and the service was great. We were a group of 10 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Definitely recommend!

  • Review 125 (2022-08-23 - Rating: 4)

The food wasn’t amazing but that was okay. The store was much bigger than I thought after I first entered I realize there was so much space further in.I got the calamari, magsinore, and risotto. This store had pretty good value because the portion sizes were huge and also they gave a lot of squid - lightly fried. However, I do have to say I had to ask the waiter for more lemon for our calamari, hoping that the calamari could have some more flavor.Slightly slow on service, and wasn’t quick to refill water but they were quite busy. We were actually really full just from the bread and appetizer so I ended up packing my risotto to go.

We dined here after catching a musical. They welcomed us in with the kitchen closing in 10 minutes. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was amazing, we were not rushed and in fact the servers stopped to offer their opinions on menu items. Everything smelled and tasted delicious. The prices were way more than reasonable for post covid and midtown location.MUST TRY THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!

  • Review 128 (2023-10-18 - Rating: 5)

Food was incredible, the crab and red snapper ravioli special was out of this world. Chicken marsala was well loved too. Service was great from the second we walked in. Will definitely be back

  • Review 129 (2022-04-24 - Rating: 5)

Hearty, rustic, authentic Italian comfort food exquisitely prepared. Service is nothing short of outstanding. Waiter was attentive without being overbearing. Supportive staff (food deliverers, busboys) were on point and busy keeping you happy with refilled glasses of water and used plates removed promptly. We had the Pasta Carbonara and Cheese-filled Ravioli Bolognese...both were delicious. Salad and sides, excellent. Espresso/cappuccino was brewed beautifully. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

We went for dinner prior to a show, and they were ready and fast at serving. But dont think that meant the food was not yummy. It was absolutely delicious and I loved it!

  • Review 131 (2022-06-01 - Rating: 5)

Awesome dinner. Would have eaten every meal there if they were open for all of them. Every plate was awesome. We had four of us and ate there multiple times. Different dishes each time and every one was better than the last one. Highly recommend! Dont miss this restaurant if you can get there.

  • Review 133 (2022-06-05 - Rating: 5)

Great food stop in the theater district. Vegans, vegetarians & meat eaters in our family ALL happy - which is not always easy. They were thoughtful in suggesting items that could be made vegan, & even had sorbets for a dairy free dessert option. Great service & value for the area as well.

  • Review 134 (2022-09-29 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful experience. Very tasty food, definitely can call themselves an Italian restaurant. The staff is also incredibly caring and quick. Adding to my favorites for sure.Found this place when I was looking for an Italian place where to order pizza (Google Maps said there is pizza here also) but there was none here. Although that was a bummer, I definitely don’t regret coming here.

  • Review 135 (2019-03-08 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful food, atmosphere and charming, professional staff.Had one of their specials, the vegetable lasagna. It was packed with mushrooms and fresh veggies with a great red sauce. Alarge portion too. They also have a fantastic menu with lots of traditional dishes. Did I mention, very good desserts. The prices are reasonable and its located right in the middle of the theater district. You must make a reservation. Its very popular and they have lots of regular customers.

My husband took me here for our first anniversary dinner. The vibe and atmosphere was great. The server was very attentive. The food was good, but it was not as great as I was expecting. Im a pretty tough critic when it comes to Italian food, and I was hoping that it would be more authentic. My husband got the carbonara, which he loved. And I got the Gnocchi. It was still good! Just not amazing.

  • Review 138 (2023-12-13 - Rating: 5)

The food was good. I gave it a 4 because the fish was slightly overcooked on the sides. The carbonara was good. Excellent price point for the location.

This is my new favorite restaurant! I made a reservation for a group and it went smoothly. There was a slight wait but it wasnt a problem at all. The staff were so courteous and kind! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Seriously delicious. All of my guests were pleased with the food as well. Everyones food was served at the same time which was impressive! Also, the drinks are great! They do NOT skimp on the liquor and its much appreciated. Cant wait to go back... SOON.

We had a terrific meal at Trattoria Trecolori on December 17. The service was excellent, but the food was even better. Delicious and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was happy and energetic, but not nearly as packed together as some NY restaurants can be. Well be back for sure!

  • Review 143 (2020-11-26 - Rating: 5)

Truly inviting. We spontaneously called and were encouraged to dine in. Upon arriving we were welcomed with open arms minutes before the kitchen closed. We were never rushed and treated like family. They gave us the full treatment with the option of dessert at the end!! I could have never imagined a better experience.I will definitely be returning and recommending this establishment to friends & family.

  • Review 144 (2019-04-01 - Rating: 5)

Of all the Italian I’ve had in Manhattan, this one is at the top. The pasta here is absolutely incredible and it is made fresh for every dish. The salads that my group had came with freshest of veggies and the dressings were all very yummy. The employees here are very professional and they are very attentive to your needs. Before I even had to think of something that I might need they had already taken care of it. I ordered the Tortellini dish with peas and ham and it was perfect. The parmesan white sauce was excellently balanced and wasn’t like some of the sauces that are too much at other restaurants. The location where it is at is a bit busy and causes for higher traffic. I would recommend a reservation for this restaurant. Other wise you may be waiting for a while.

  • Review 145 (2022-02-27 - Rating: 4)

Food was fantastic. First server ( an older white man) was nasty. Was not pleasant. I dont think he cared for me and my daughter. I think he took over another servers table, the other server took our table back. I was so please. Very nice Black young man with an accent. Save my New York outing. Its been a while since Ive been in NYC. Was having a good time until that first server. One person can ruin a nice outing.

  • Review 146 (2022-09-08 - Rating: 4)

This restaurant never disappoints. Its our go to for dining before or after seeing a Broadway show. The food is very good (the veal is my favorite), the wait staff is courteous and very helpful AND the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend.

  • Review 147 (2018-06-28 - Rating: 4)

Went for dinner but to be honest in this part of NYC wasn’t expecting anything great. Was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was very nice- pretty rustic decor, easy to have a conversation. They didn’t rush us or push us to order, eat and get out. They let us take our time. The wine menu is great! The specials were tasty and seemed all fresh and pasta seemed homemade. We enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

Tre Colori is finally back - now open with upscale outdoor seating, a fun vibe, and the same delicious food and trademark service as before! I saw them open whilst on a walk this afternoon and thought Id have a quick coffee. Four plates later, I returned home thrilled with the experience. This folks, is how outdoor dining in midtown should be done!Marco and the entire team took excellent care of me. They were attentive to every need and truly made me feel at home. The food brought back memories of flavors that no other Italian restaurant in our neighborhood had been able to replicate this summer. Fresh salad and vegetables, hearty gnocchi, pungent pepper, and the perfect espresso to pick me up after a long day.Covid-wise the tables were spaced out well, masks were worn by all waitstaff, restrooms were spotless, and the ambiance was perfect for solo dining, a date, dinner with friends, or even with my parents. Very glad to have them open again and cant wait to return! Thanks for a memorable meal guys!

Went there tonight and Alejandro was our server. His expertise of the menu items allowed for us to make an educated decision, and the food was absolutely delicious. Not only was his service impeccable, but many of his peers were quick to refill our water, bread, and so forth. We finished with the Tara Misu which was absolutely delicious. The food was terrific, the service was great, and the pricing was reasonable (especially given the area). Strongly recommend (see my profile I rarely give 5 stars).

  • Review 150 (2021-09-08 - Rating: 5)

Everything here was a perfect NYC dining experience from the charming host and hostess quickly offering to relieve us of our hurricane soaked umbrellas, to the impeccable service of the wait staff, and culminating in perfect presentation and taste of the culinary delights prepared for us. We had a wonderful meal and highly recommend. Bonus: They were checking vaccination cards to further offer a modicum of comfort and safety to the entirely pleasant dining experience.

Celebrating combined birthdays with old friend, I had dinner at Trattoria Trecolori after the theater. We had reservations and were seated right on time. Restaurant has two floors, we were seated on second floor which is much quieter than the lower level. The food and service were both really good. Bar prices and drinks also great for the heart of the theater district. We also had the pleasure of being seated near very lovely people, including a young member of the cast from show we had just seen.

  • Review 152 (2021-08-07 - Rating: 5)

Wow! We just stopped by here for dinner this afternoon and loved it! The lamb chops were the best I’ve ever had, and the ravioli special that my wife had was great. We also enjoyed the excellent service, and the special chocolate mouse cake to finish off an excellent meal. Bravo!!!

  • Review 154 (2022-11-01 - Rating: 4)

All the best places below 300 in New York are acceptable to me. So I go to this restaurant which is in 140th place. I am not looking for real Italian cuisine, I have always been disappointed with it, but I am looking for that Americanized cuisine that is closest to our cuisine. I am satisfied with a mozzarella in carrozza, a caprese and a plate of ham. Cooking so to speak, but even these products, if they are not good, cannot be eaten. All above average. Very good desserts and very kind entrance staff, a little less than the one at the bank. Very nice place a stones throw from time square, clean and welcoming. Also good for us who ate at the counter. I think Ill be back, but if you want to eat well, the American dishes are better.

Love this place. Its always packed after work, so the bf and I often eat at the bar. The fried calamari here is to die for. Large portion too. Very authentic Italian place, with an extensive wine list. Service is quick and attentive, even at the bar. Bread before the meal is also great.

Our first dinner here was a late night stumble-upon as we left Times Square looking for a restaurant without a line-up. Very impressed by the quick service, generous bread and olive freebies, ample main course portions, and all very tasty. So 2 nights later when we were hungry we went back to the same place and enjoyed the same great experience. Very switched-on staff with excellent service

We ordered takeout this evening and the meals were prepared quickly and to perfection. Little Italy has nothing on this restaurant. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. They provided one the best meals ever and we plan on eating there as often as we can. If we could rate higher than 5 stars we would!!! Service was excellent as well. Dont miss this gem.

Very nice restaurant nearby Times Square with surprisingly low prices (because it‘s in front of an tourist hot spot😅)The waiters were friendly but sometimes a little bit inattentive. My boyfriend has ordered Carbonara without onions (please ignore the fact, that in the original Carbonara recipe is no onions inside) but were served with them anyway. The food itself was very good.

  • Review 169 (2022-05-23 - Rating: 5)

Delicious Italian! Bread, butter, oil, and balsamic vinegar is provided for the table, and you can ask for more bread if you run out. The chicken parm was really good, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It’s really flat but good! The Alfredo is nice and light and tasty. We added chicken but it tasted burnt so we didn’t eat it, and they took it off our check when we mentioned it. Someone in our group asked for just spaghetti and bolognese sauce and it was no problem for them to provide it although it wasn’t on the menu. Tiramisu is homemade, light, and delicious! The wait was an hour when we went around 5:30pm on a Sunday, and the restraint was loud while they were busy, but mellowed out as people left. Great atmosphere and great food!
