My review is going to be a little bit unusual. My friend and I went to ZiZi wine Bar before the MET on New Years Eve, 12.31.2024, I was not hungry and didnt eat anything so cant tell anything about food or drink...but would love to say something about people who work here - they are very honest and kind.We left bar and were on our way to the MET, we were almost there....when I realized I dont have my bag with me, bag where was my ticket to the MET and key from my friends apartment, she is away for a week and left her key with me🤦🏻♀️I had exactly 15 min before the performance....And who knew I can run faster than Usain Bolt!😂I was at my seat right on time🙌🏻Just wanted to say BIG THANK YOU, ZiZi Wine Bar!You saved my New Years Eve❤️Happy and healthy New Year everyone! -

A very nice addition to the neighborhood, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a wide range of wines. Perfect spot for a date! I didn’t try the food, but there are some very appealing options on the menu. -

Cute little wine bar in the UWS. Has small, shareable plates that looked good. The wine list was interesting - strong focus on Mediterranean wines outside of the traditional scope (think more Turkey/Greece/Italy) rather than the typical French focus. I thought it was a great concept and a fairly decent happy hour deal. The space is cozy but small, and we were feeling a bit cramped in by the end of the night. Otherwise really great spot. -

Absolutely loved it. Interesting wines, delicious little dishes, and a chill atmosphere. On top of that, finally a restaurant that doesn’t charge $20 for a glass of wine. Can’t wait to go again. -

Wine list is solid, food is good if you get the snacks, the protein courses were small and a little underwhelming. Prices are super reasonable though so for a snack or happy hour it’s good. Inside is two levels and a little dark. A couple outside tables on the street but it’s Broadway near Lincoln center so that can be an adventure. We had the ricotta, chicken shawarma, hummus and fish and chips. Ricotta was good but tiny (two pieces of bread that were smaller than a sandwich loaf slice), chicken shawarma was under seasoned and the main disappointment, hummus was what you would expect but pita was warm, fish and chips was probably the best thing we had but overall I’d rather see higher prices for larger portions of the protein dishes. Staff was friendly but not overly so. -

Wonderful ambience with candles, soft lighting, and music. Great wine selection with special happy hour prices. Loved the sparkling French rose! Review 33 (2023-10-20 - Rating: 4)
This is a pleasant, welcoming place for wine and good food. The prices are in line with the neighborhood. A meal light or greater is easy to assemble from the small plates, which have portions shareable by two. Well go back. We ate a Jerusalem Bagel (which we especially enjoy), Crazy Baba, Cauliflower Tahini, and a Fish Kebab; all were good to very good. Our bottle of wine, Alexakis Assyrtiko, was very good.TIP The seating is tight in some spaces.TIP The Chelsea location on 8 Avenue is very good, with a larger menu and full bar.TIP Breads are a significant element of the foods appeal. -
