This lovely restaurant on the first floor of the Grayson Hotel used to have the best avocado toast in NYC. Unfortunately, they have removed the micro greens and the bread is no longer a fabulous sourdough from Sullivan St Bakery. The result is middle of the road. The bread pudding (listed as French toast) is still fabulous.

I enjoyed a nice meal at Harta after a really long day. The paper plane bourbon mixed drink was perfectly prepared by the bartender and it was delicious. Gisela, the server, has great positive energy - she made me feel extremely welcome and at home making the meal extra special. The skin on the Atlantic Salmon was perfectly crisp without overcooking the salmon. Great experience. The only reason I dont give 5 stars on atmosphere is that some of the bar patrons were unusually loud, but it was a such a lovely dinner I didnt mind much.

Great for cocktails and a last minute meet up! Staff was accommodating despite how busy the venue was that night. Disappointed there was no holiday drink menu nor happy hour despite going for that specific reason.

Such friendly staff and wonderfully delicious cocktails! The food was great but my favorite was the salmon and the crushed avocado dip. The hummus was great texture but just needed a little more salt. The soft serve options was delicious but chocolate flavor was my favorite! Ambiance is wonderful and centrally located. Highly recommend checking out !

Great service, delicious food and drinks, and a chill vibe. Very much enjoyed our dinner here at Harta. Food was absolutely phenomenal. Tried the Black angus sirloin with a peppercorn crust, fingerling potatoes, and a watercress salad. Every bite was perfect. Their cocktails were superb. I had the Mure which was Wodka Vodka, Blackberry, Oloroso Sherry, Lillet Rose. The service was friendly and interactive. Definitely recommend stopping by here for dinner or a drink.Now for my standard COVID comments as of March 2023. Masks aren’t worn indoors as much as I’d like but the interior here was very clean. Seating is comfortable. I had no issues during our time there.

My family was visiting from Chile and staying nearby. We came to Harta twice, because the food was good there was outdoor seating. We had the good fortune of having Ruben as our waiter both times and he took outstanding care of us.

I cannot say enough about the light, velvety and flavorful Romesco roasted red pepper spread with marcona almonds and house-baked bread with an “everything bagel”-style seasoning atop. It is phenomenal. The black bass was cooked to perfection and melt-in-your-mouth. Absolutely delicious. Salt cod croquettes- enchanting and bursting with flavor + delightful texture. The Evergreen cocktail was refreshing and infused with just the right amount of sweetness and citrus/apple. The entire experience, one for the books and for repeating again and again and again!

I hosted an event here and everything was spectacular. Katie was on top of everything we spoke about and everyone was raving about the food, drinks, and service. Jeff, our main server, was phenomenal. He was everywhere all at once ensuring that everything was taken care of. The timing of service was perfect and the overall vibe was so chic. We couldnt have asked for a better spot to host our event!

Always a vibe. Surprisingly spacious by Times Square. Great rooftop bar (not part of the restaurant) to visit after your meal. Salmon crispy rice is amazing along with the shrimp pasta dish and steak frites. Service always on point!

Had dinner (restaurant Week) few hours agoat Harta (Thursday evening).Host(she) greeted friendly yet politely that made me comfortable and helped to enjoy the atmosphere. My sever was excellent, her recommendation of drink was perfect. Lastly, had Octopus & Burrata for appetizer, and sirloin steak & Black bass as a main dish with my friend. The dishes were just perfect. Felt bad when I couldn’t finish desert because I was so full. Though, it was such an amazing dinner and had to share! Hope people find this gem and enjoy as well!Would definitely go back with my beloved ones.

The waitstaff was very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend getting the romesco and the badger flame beets. The cocktails are some of the best I have had, the lavender and the gyokuro were amazing.The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, and I will definitely be back.

The starter were all amazing, beautiful presentation and tasted really good. The entrees were not as good to me. The tuna had too many tendons and was hard to cut or chew, we also tried the chicken tagine but it was not flavorful enough, for dessert we had a crème brûlée which was exquisite, and ended the experience on a great note.

I stayed with my mother at the Grayson for 3 days. The entire experience was really good, from the cozy rooms to the great location. We had breakfast every morning. The avocado toast was amazing and our server Ruben was super attentive and funny! I have no doubt I will come back again.

Every season it is a tradition for my friend and me to participate in Restaurant Week. This season we decided to try the lunch pre-fix menu at Harta Mediterranean Brasserie. picked this menu in particular because of the variety they offered and the fact thatI hadnt had chicken tagine in a very long time. For the pre-fixe lunch we had the option of picking a small plate and a main dish.For my small platel chose the tuna crudo. The tuna had a nice combination of flavors which had me pleasantly surprised. Roasted peppers were layered between thinly sliced raw tuna and hazelnut pieces added some additional texture to the dish. Thinly sliced green onions also helped to balance out the flavors. There was a sauce that everything was laid over that provided the perfect amount of salt to the dish. Overall a very pleasant light appetizer!Onto the entree, the chicken tagine. The chicken itself was super moist and flavorful which made this dish absolutely delicious. There was a slight sweetness to go with the savory flavor of the nicely seasoned chicken. You receive a chicken breast and attached thigh to make for good sized portion for the price. The chicken was served over a mixture of rice and vermiceli pilaf with caramelized onions and pomegranate mixed in. particularly enjoyed the texture of the pilaf and was overall very happy with this dish.The service was also on point. was seated immediately and our waitress checked in appropriately (as in not too much or too little). She asked if we had questions and was happy to provide her thoughts on what was popular and what her favorite smal dish was (it was the Tuna Crudo and completely agree that it was great).Overall, a fantastic experience from what I believe to be a newer restaurant (at least at the time of this review). Would recommend!

Harta, a Mediterranean brassiere, is located on the lower floor of the new Grayson Hotel on W 39th St. Since my wife and I were staying here on our holiday NYC trip decided to take advantage to enjoy breakfast before venturing out on the streets of Manhattan. The decor was very upscale with a modern twist.As we sat at a small round table I studied the menu and decided upon the Breakfast Sandwich. The menu described it as applewood smoked bacon, two eggs, Vermont cheddar, brioche bun, crispy Yukon Gold potatoes. It’s prepared by some firepower in the kitchen from the team of Apicii, led by Chief Culinary Officer Jonathon Benno and Executive Chef Mark Zuckerman. Michelin stars seem to be circulating around this place so had to have my first NYC meal here.When my plate was placed in front of me I was in awe. It looked and smelled so good. Great presentation. This was a huge egg sandwich where I guess contained four eggs. I had to cut it in half and after one bit it had outstanding flavor. The eggs were dark yellow with cheese on it where must have came from healthy free roaming chickens. The bacon was delightful and something took some care to give it tasty flavor. The potatoes were amazing too. It was a lot of food which pretty much filled me up for the rest of the day.Overall with the excellent breakfast was a great staff and atmosphere.

Also best shishitos I’ve ever had, though the portion was small.
