    Excitement! What a great atmosphere! The service is genuinely friendly. A great place to go before or after a movie. Even if you dont go to the theater, a happy hour youd love. The food was good, but I which it is mentioned when there is pork or shellfish in certain good. The honey for the chicken had bacon in it.

    This could of easily went from a 5 star rating to a 1 star rating.We went here for happy hour and to have dinner. The drinks are limited and even not having margaritas available it was even more limited for cocktail drinks.The actual entrees are not at all what we anticipated, honestly the happy hour food selection which were appetizers were better than the actual entrees.Given this a 4 star because of the customer service. The server who served us was the only one working. I felt bad for her because she was very nice and welcoming. She really puts the above and beyond in customer service. Talk about short staff and we were the only ones there until it got really busy and the wait time for things just became even longer. We were not happy with the steak which was fatty nor the Shrimp Linguini. The pasta was extremely oily as if it was drenched in olive oil. It only came with 4 pieces of shrimp. For the steak it doesn’t even come with mashed potatoes. We ordered the side of Pommes Aligot but they didn’t even have it in stock.On there website they do state there may be items that are out of stock due to shortages. However we didn’t anticipated mash potatoes to be out. If you’re ordering steak just know you’re paying almost $40 for one strip and a couple of green beans.Overall experience was nice, nothing special. Wait times can be very long due to the kitchen being shared with the iPic theater.This place would be recommended for happy hour but not dinner.

    Everything we had was so good. Highly recommend pork lettuce wrap Ktown slider and fried string beans to share. Lobster cob salad and bone marrow burger as entree was a great choice. I’d love to go back again. Forgot to mention. The decor was insanely gorgeous.

    Came on Sunday 7/28, had a little wait for our window seat but Jeff was very nice and paid for my drink. Omar and Noah were very informative and helpful. And I love their music selection. I would highly recommend The Tuck!

    We were going to the IPiC theater, but we had gotten there too early. We decided to get something to eat, and we went upstairs to the Tuck Room. We had what they offer from the menu they had for restaurant week. The place was full and the decor was very bright. I am not sure if they were short staff, but the server was really slow. Overall, it was a nice place, and the view from where we were seated was beautiful.

    The Tuck Room is a beautiful restaurant located within the iPic theater. I believe you can access the restaurant from outside as well without having to actually be at the theater.The restaurant is beyond beautiful. All of the small details from the piano to the book shelves make this feel like a cozy fancy restaurant. They do have two sections where you can potentially host dinner parties. One space is large and seems to fit 25 to 30 people. The second space is smaller and seems to maybe accommodate 10 people.I have entered this restaurant multiple times as the iPic theater doesnt have a bathroom on its floor so you have to go through the restaurant to use theirs. I never noticed how big this space is but they actually have more seating beyond the bar section. I had never noticed it before.Upon entering we were greeted by a food runner, i believe. He was extremely friendly and accommodating. He greeted us as soon as we stepped off the escalators and directed us to a table. Our waitress was also extremely helpful and nice as well.We ended up ordering the Crispy Tuna and Bone Marrow for appetizer. We also got the special which was Peruvian Steak Kabobs and the Boss Burger. The crispy tuna lacked, not in flavor but texture. The rice was not crispy at all. I could tell immediately when the plate was dropped on the table. The rice was too light so i knew they didnt take the time to truly crisp it up. The bone marrow was good, certainly something different to try. I liked having to scoop out the center and adding it to the toast myself. I think the onion jam put on top could of been more savory, It was sweet. The boss burger was amazing. Its a double pattie so be ready to be full. They do offer truffle fries, regular fries and sweet potato fries. We opted for sweet potato. They were amazing. The Peruvian kabobs were so good. I wish they were bigger as the photo gives the impression that its a bigger dish. The steak was cooked well and was tender, great flavor too. The sauces on the plate were amazing. I couldnt get enough of them. The potatoes were really good but looked nothing like the photo. I believe they were supposed to be deep fried and crispy, it wasnt. They were soft layers that broke off as soon as you tried to pick it up. Either way, it was still delicious. The food was good and had great flavor. A few execution issues but nothing that wouldnt make me come back and try more food.For drinks we had The Orchard and the Refresher. Both drinks were mocktails and were absolutely delicious. I love the fact that they had mocktails, not everyone is a drinker so having these options is amazing.The service was fairly quick. The restaurant wasnt packed yet but it was certainly lively and had multiple tables occupied.Overall this place is great. I definitely recommend it for an after work dinner and drinks vibe. I cannot wait to come back and try more items here.

    The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The place is classy and the food is absolute yum. I recommend trying the Trios.They also have daily specials which are all great to have.

    This was our first dining experience in our trip in New York and it was fantastic. The service and the atmosphere was great. The food was superb. My partner had the Stilton and bacon burger and I had the beef rib sliders. Both dishes were extremely tasty and well presented. The meal was terrific value and i would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone, you wont be disappointed.

    Great place for a date night & to have a drink with friends. The area is posh, with nice seating areas. Theres a curtained off area for private events.Bartenders are friendly and engaging. My bartender recommended a whiskey which was great. 👍🏼The ambiance is low key where people can have conversations without loud music in the background.My friend and I just went for drinks so I cant comment on the food.Overall: 5 stars for good service, atmosphere, cleanliness.

    So me and my girlfriend went here while we were at the south street seaport. It was our first time eating here and the food was very good. I had a burger along with the french fries and the burger was cooked perfect. My girlfriend had boneless buttermilk chicken along with there cornbread both of them was very good as well. The atmosphere is nice and the people who work their have very welcoming. Our waiter was nice as well we asked him questions about some stuff on the menu and he answered them and he was great. His name was Melvin. Definitely will be back to eat here again and try some of there other food. Definitely recommend this place.

    Ambiance is great, pork belly was amazing. Service took a while to get to us. But the bartenders were friendly. As far as the cocktails go, the sangria is different. Very flavorful, full definitely a delicious, different take on a sangria. Truffle fries were cooked perfectly cooked but needed more truffle flavor. Overall I had a great time.

    Great bar with cosy decor, nice food and drinks, and cheerful service.Lots of good options on the food, from small plates to big meals, and there’s a tipple to suit and fancy or occasion. There were some great cocktails and local beers on offer which my group enjoyed extensively!It’s in a nice setting with views of the river at one end, and nestled in the shopping / entertainment village it’s well worth a stop-off!

    Had a corporate dinner here last night and it was wonderful. We had a private room, which was nice and the decor was beautiful. We had a pre-fix menu - the portions were really generous. Most of those who ordered the duck couldn’t even finish because it was a lot!Overall, everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food. Would definitely come back again for a more casual outing. Our server was Mikala (sp?) and she was great!!

    Stopped here for dinner last night, food was very good and service was a little slow. When we received the bill we saw a $3 charge added to one of the drink orders a scotch on the rocks. We questioned this with the waiter and he explained that when you order a drink on the rocks there is an extra charge for premium ice which is a clear ice cube. Then we spoke with the manager and she advised us of the same, we told her this should have been communicated to us upon ordering the drink or it should be noted in the drink menu. Watch out for the $3 Ice Cube up charge on certain drink orders.

    Great Location, Delicious Food!We stumbled across the Tuck Room whilst visiting Pier 17 which is incredibly close by.The restaurant is also part of a cinema and is quite well disguised. We would never have known that there was a restaurant up top.The atmosphere is great and the staff were all very friendly and attentive.We visited on a Monday lunch time, and it was quite quiet. Chris, our waiter was very helpful in explaining further details on the food. I was really impressed with the food quality and portion size and would certainly return. If you are visiting Pier 17 and fancy a bite to eat at lunch time like we did, this is a great venue, very tastefully designed also.

    We had such an amazing experience at The Tuck Room! We went for my friend’s bachelorette party. After paying for the bill a manager greeted us with a glasses of bubbly and then escorted us to their special speakeasy room! The food and drinks were delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make this such a special night! I would highly recommend going here!

    Restaurant week should be a no brainer for both customers and establishments. So it’s kind of a bummer when on a Friday night at 630 they’re already out of food. What we ordered was great although arrived not as ordered it still tasted good.The steak ordered medium rare came out medium closer to medium well and the salmon ordered med rare also coming out medium.

    Visited the Tuck Room this past Sunday when NYC was freezing. The restaurant was warm and cozy and provided a great view of South Street Seaport and Brooklyn Bridge Park across the water. Food & service were excellent. Our waitress was so sweet. I definitely suggest the shrimp tacos and the chocolate bomb for dessert. Its a great place for good grubs in a quiet atmosphere.

    Came to the Tuck Room late last night, tucked away on the top floor of a movie theater (I see what I did there), and even though it is listed as open until 2am, the kitchen closes at 11pm, 5 minutes after we got there. However, we were seated and served with all the courtesy a nice place like this deserves and the food was fantastic, the ahi tuna poke was exceptional and the smores dessert was the perfect way to end the day.

    Great ambiance and nice outside seating area. My favorite is the Lobster Cobb Salad. It is $8 and a hefty portion! Cannot go wrong for lunch if you are in this area. This is also a great date night location because they have the iPic theater that has recline seating and their menu is from the Tuck Room. Romantic, funny and hip vibe. Lets not forget to mention their marvelous and top shelf drink options. Highly recommended.

    Ran into this cool joint unexpectedly after a quick trip to tkts (it is right around the corner). Food (tuna tartare on crispy rice and seared salmon on charred corn with beurre Blanc), drinks (sparkling rose) and service were all excellent! A perfect lunch!!

    Tuck Room never disappoints! The service, the quality of food, the portions and the drinks are awesome.     My wife and son got the southern chicken sandwich, I got the tuck burger. She says the best chicken sandwich shes ever had. My burger was really good as well. However, the service was extremely slow for the number of people there. Took forever to get the server to bring water and the check. We would go back for sure. Hopefully, it was a bad day and not that way all the time.

    The Tuck Room is a delicious new addition to the lower Manhattan options. If you want to try them out I would strongly suggest Happy Hour. I would suggest the Apple cocktail and the pork belly wraps.

    The Tuck Room offers great food, drink and decor, and the restroom is clean, but the service is extremely slow. I understand the kitchen is busy fulfilling orders for moviegoers dine-in requests, but it doesnt make sense that regular diners need to wait half an hour for each item ordered.

    We had our office holiday party here (2018) and it was a sweet spot. The most charming detail was the bookcase that greeted us upon entry. See how perfectly they fit with one another?The bar is long and large. There are many spots to congregate and it is easy to walk from one spot to another.They have a secret room, a speakeasy!, there too. The food was good. The bathrooms are spacious and lounge-like, with seating and counters.

    For being located in NYC, this restaurant is actually worth the price and the food is incredible.I had dinner here for the first time with two family members after not being in NYC for over 5 years (I live in FL and occasionally visit NJ to see family.We came during happy hour and my family members ordered a few drinks for some reasonable prices. The prices of some appetizers are also reduced during happy hour. I ordered the Green Goddess Turkey Burger and the deviled eggs - both amazing. Honestly, I can’t stress this enough - if you’re looking for a quick bite in a cozy restaurant, this is for you. The prices are reasonable and the service was incredible. Also, seeing as how NYC is my favorite place on Earth, get a seat next to window to get a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge.A few drawbacks though. Waiting for food did take a while, especially the dessert. Upon reading other reviews, it’s because they share a kitchen with the movie theater a floor below. The music is also a bit questionable but idrc

    I came here for some drinks before my movie showing at the Ipic downstairs from here. I caught the happy hour menu and I have no complaints at all. 2 drinks and an order of truffle fries for only $21 is unheard of. If you’re catching a movie you have to check out The Tuck Room.

    1st time here. Cute restaurant in same building as IPIC movie theater. Food menu was creative. We tried battered fried fish with sweet potato fries, the Tuck Burger and the Sweet and Spicy Bacon Blue Burger with regar fries. All were delicious! I had a chocolate martini cocktail because I love dark chocolate. It tasted light on alcohol to me, but the chocolate flavor was on point. But kudos to our server, Tommy! He was professional in his suggestions, attentive and funny! Give him a raise! Giving 4 stars because 5 is perfect and nothing is!

    We were walking from China Town back to our hotel and knew that we would need refreshments on the way. The tuck room was offering happy hour $5 draught beers and $10 chicken wings. We had lemon and pepper. A very nice bar with friendly staff.

    Made a reservation and got a great table by a window. Nice interior and cool ambience for dinner except that there was a DJ in the bar section so it was a bit noisy and the bass was heavy. Dinner was very good! My burger was top-tier quality. Appetizers (short rib sliders and farmers pizza) were delicious. Our server Oliver was very nice and helpful, however the water glasses were small so my party was left thirsty throughout the meal, to no fault of the server. We brought our own desert and the kitchen was out of plates so we had to eat off of extra napkins. Not an ideal way to the end the experience. But all-in-all I’d recommend this place to grab a bite near the waterfront. Great Brooklyn Bridge photo ops right across the street!!

    The food here was amazing. I highly suggest the Marrow Burger and the pork belly wraps. Best food Ive had in a long time. The place is somewhat expensive but thats what you get in the financial district. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be they are slow getting your drinks. Overall I highly reccomened this place.

    Restaurant week review on a Monday night - Amazing food, ambience, decor and great price!We actually came here to celebrate our friends birthday and wanted a restaurant that was a little bit more unique and this place served that purpose. It looks like a cute mix between speakeasy and library, the walls are large bookcases and just overall decor was just super chiq.We had a party of 14 people and were seated in the back which was definitely much more intimate and had the feeling that it was a restaurant all to ourselves.The pre-fix menu was quite nice, there an abundance of food for the price because this is not the first restaurant week that I have ever been to. There was a full three course menu where you walked out feeling...wow I am so full. We started off with a full appetizer, my main course was a salmon - cooked to perfection and the dessert...there were three! Not three options but you got to taste all three!! There was so much desert most of us did not even eat it all. There was a chocolate lava cake, a orange sorbet and ice cream and wow...all three was phenomenal.Would recommend coming back!

    Lovely drinks - happy hour on a Wednesday was great. There was a little apprehension from the hostess to sit the three of us at a table on a Friday as we said we weren’t sure whether we were just having a drink, drinks and apps, or full dinner (so that lost them a star)
