    After a day of traveling to get to the city, this was the first place we went to! We were pretty hungry and enjoyed our food. Cocktails were really good too. Our serve was friendly, just like the host and other staff. I also really enjoyed the fact that our serve sang my favorite song from the Last 5 Years

    I would give 4.5 stars, because the waiters and singing were stellar. They really did a great job.The part that takes away from the experience is the feeling that they want you out quickly (i.e. the time limit sign and the hostess folk seem very rushed).We only had dessert ($20 milkshake and $10 cookie plate) and that was pretty good. I do like that they take reservations but its not as fun to be seated by the bar - even though we had reservations we werent seated in the main room.

    Omg the singers were amazing!! I came with a group and we all had a blast! the only negative is that my food was cold, but it’s ok there were a lot of mouths in my group to feed. We even got to see a server audition which was fun (best of luck to him😁) We had a blast thank you for having us!!

    I came here for dinner to celebrate a friend’s birthdayThe experience here is great, and the service and ambiance are so niceI love the chocolate fudge brownie milkshake, and while it is a really good milkshake, it isn’t the best one I’ve ever hadIn between waiting tables, I loved hearing the waitstaff sing and put on a show for diners4 stars out of 5 for the atmosphere only because the tables were pretty close togetherI also had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, which was so good, and if I have the opportunity to dine here again, I would love to also try other things on the menuIt’s a restaurant you’ll need a reservation for, and it would probably be better to (1) have a reservation slightly earlier than you would like and (2) come at the time of your reservation because we did have to wait for about 15 minutes after we arrived for our reservation, even though we came on time

    I love this place. I tend to say this a lot: my biggest regret is not finding this place sooner. The atmosphere here is so much fun. You experience regular musical performances by the waitstaff while you dine. On top of that the food was really good. We came here for dinner before a show. We made reservations in advance and had no issues whatsoever. You don’t have to be a Broadway fan to enjoy the experience but if you are I know you will love it too.

    Gayles Broadway Rose Restaurant provided an unforgettable dining experience during our trip to NYC. The atmosphere was delightful, and the servers showcased impressive talent. While the food was enjoyable, the cocktails didnt quite meet our expectations. Nonetheless, we found ourselves returning for a second visit within our five-day trip. We would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to friends in the UK.

    My husband and I had an incredible time at Gayles. First of all, management was so sweet and accommodating with our request to switch tables. The food was some of the best we had in New York and the atmosphere was a mix of old New York architecture with incredible musical performances by the waiters/Broadway actors.

    I love Gayle’s Broadway Rose so very very much. It is a really fun treat if you’re in the city to see a show as either a pre- or post-theater experience - but I have also gone into the city just to go here. The talent is unmatched, plus the service is great. We have been multiple times and have never had a bad experience. It can get pretty busy on the weekend, so if you want a more intimate time go on a Monday. It’s also pretty reasonably priced for a night out in the city. A+, would recommend and have recommended many times.

    This place is wonderful! Our server Alex was so kind and generous with her attention and time. She had a very pleasant and upbeat serving style and I never felt as if she was trying to rush us. And with all that…boy can she SING! All the singing servers there provided absolutely stunning vocals and engaged with any customer in their path. Thanks Gayle Broadway Rose!     Oh my goodness!!! So much fun! If you love Broadway, this is an absolute must. Your server could absolutely be in a show the next time youre here (I was blown away by the vocal talent). The food is good, the service is good, but thats not the reason to come. Im so glad we found this place, we will never forget this unique and fun experience!

    Went here mid week at 6.45, easy to get a reservation and seated straight away. Singing was amazing and the staff took their turns on the Mike plus did many duets. Guy Introducing the singers was great, kept it all flowing and made sure he gave credit to the singers, reminding them to tip the singers separately if they were enjoying the performances. (Tip jar on the bar) but it wasnt rammed down your throat.Food was great, daughters burger was so juicy, side Brussels good and my salmon was cooked to perfection with a nice amount of mash and spinach and a tiny bit of sweet heat.Almost a shame they finished at 8 but maybe its being part of a hotel. I personally would then keep the bar open and have the singers stay and perform more hits with a smallish entrance fee charged as these guys were Broadway quality and it was great to hear some of the tunes from all the shows so maybe doing a request show🤷‍♀️Only negative would be occasionally I couldnt hear the announcer clearly with a tiny bit of vibration. I could speak with my daughter ok during it all so not sure why there are loud complaints on these reviews and the singers walk around a lot and interact with the guests so you can see them sometimes.Great celebration for my daughter getting in the Animation and illustration program at sjsu!!!

    We made a trip to the city to see a show on Broadway and found this hidden gem on TikTok so made a reservation just to see and boy did it pay off! The whole experience was amazing! And Gayle herself even came by our table to talk to us about our trip! We had the best time with all the music and performances! Definitely will be a regular stop on our future trips

    Hands down a must do when visiting New York! The staff is some of the most amazing talent you can find in this city! Not only are they your servers giving you outstanding service, they are belching out some of the best Broadway hits. Whether it be a solo ballad, a group musical, classic Broadway, new Broadway, or even Disney. This is the best spot to go. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Drinks perfectly mixed and garnished. I could go on and on about this place.

    Other singing-server restaurants have good food, but Gayles Broadway Rose was GREAT food! Large portions, cocktails poured well (loved the Spicy Styles). The real winner, of course, is the performers who balance their service with their singing amazingly. They are all Broadway ready, with great range, and great charisma. Dinner for two, with an app and three cocktails was about $130, but for this one time treat for an out-of-town family members birthday was well worth it! 10/10 for a fun time and great food! (shoutout to Brian!)

    Our theater department kids and chaperones from Fargo North Dakota went to Gayle’s before we went to our show and it absolutely amazing. So fun to hear our kids get excited to hear broadway actors/actresses showcase their talents with their singing abilities. My personal favorite was Satisfied/Helpless (Hamilton) I was in absolute awe of those ladies!! Bravo! Definitely will be back next time we come to NYC

    We had a wonderful experience at Gayle’s Broadway Rose! From making our large party reservation to walking out after our meal, the experience was seamless.     I have come to this restaurant so many times and I have felt so comfortable and right where I belong.     The only downside to GBR is that it’s only available from 5-8, I hope in the future they’re able to expand into their own property. I would go for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!We had Faith as our server and she was fantastic! I took my daughter with me and discreetly let Faith know we were celebrating her birthday. I requested a song from SIX (in honor of my daughter turning six). Despite not having enough Queens to sing all six parts, Faith worked her magic and made it happen (shout out to the gentleman who jumped in to sing as the sixth Queen!).The team made our visit a dream come true, and my daughter is still raving about the “singing girls and boys.”

    I have been to Gayle’s 4 times (i live in louisiana) so i would say the plane ride and traveling to nyc to see these amazing servers and eat the wonderful food is100% a great idea, all the seats are great because of the amazing waiters and waitresses who will come and sing by every section. so you get to enjoy the beautiful experience, and i’ll be back in nyc and at gayle’s in july so again go try it.

    Heaven for gluten free musical lovers! I had an amazing experience here as a coeliac as almost all of the menu could be made gluten free and in a coeliac safe way. The food arrived with a little gluten free flag which was really reassuring. Then the entertainment was outstanding! The waiters and waitresses were so talented and sang a range of classic and current musical songs and interacted with the guests whilst doing so. The perfect pre Broadway show dinner location and perhaps the highlight of my trip to New York! Would 100% recommend!

    Second time coming here, food and drinks are nothing to write home about, you definitely are paying for the show.Singers are incredibly talented and really sing amazingly. Service this time was absolutely flawless, Julia K was the sweetest and most attentive server Ive had in a long time living in NYC, huge shout out to her. Hostess, one of them, the tallest one I guess (monday 24), needs a huge attitude check, condescending and showing you how little she cares about what taste she leaves on costumers after sitting them (therefore making a servers job harder). Having 3 Hostesses youd think theyll do a better job.Overall, this is a place for tourists or where youll take your family and friends from out of town and might leave not entirely satisfied. Im giving a 4 star review just cause our server was great, everything else was a 2-3 star situation

    Great experience. We had a group of 13; ages 6-76yo. They were very accommodating. The singing was nonstop and sang tunes all ages could enjoy. Despite the pressures of continuous entertainment, the service was attentive and prompt. Weve been to other singing restaurants, but would recommend this one hands down!

    Gayles Broadway Rose is a hidden gem in NYC. Tucked away right in the theater district, it’s easy access to all the Broadway shows. My daughter follows tori, one of the singing waitresses, on TikTok. Gayle, the owner, came and introduced herself, when we first arrived, and was so genuine and kind. The singing starts right at 5pm and what WONDERFUL performances by all of the wait staff- they were truly talented. They performed many selections from popular Broadway shows. We stayed for over 2 hours enjoying the performances while eating a yummy dinner, followed by their special signature milkshakes for dessert. We usually go to Ellen’s stardust diner for our pre-show dinner but we found our new favorite restaurant! It exceeded our expectations and provided a wonderful experience for our entire family. I highly recommend going soon!!! Great food while listening and watching fabulously talented singers- what more could you ask for?!

    This place is TOP NOTCH! From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were greeted with the most friendly and SUPER talented wait staff we could have imagined! Gail, pictured with my family, was such a doll and so warm and welcoming. Jeff was the friendly voice we got on the phone when calling to make our reservation, and he too, was professional and personable. And can I say the TALENT this staff (or cast, if you will) has is bigger than the room itself!     Had an amazing time at Gayles Broadway Rose! This place might not be for everyone, but if you are a lover of musical theater, this is the place for you! I wasnt sure if I wanted to go to Gayles or Ellens (another similar kind of restaurant) but ultimately chose Gayles because reservations were easy to make and the food and atmosphere looked better in the reviews.The food was delicious! Menu was simple, not an overwhelming amount of options. And although some other reviews said they found the food expensive, I found it to be fairly priced for a restaurant in the Times Square vicinity. The 14 oz steak was huge! And the meatloaf was also a crowd favourite at my table.Gayle herself was there and introduced herself to every table. She was so nice and it seems like all the staff really got along and enjoyed their jobs. The talent of every single server truly blew me away. I felt like I was in an interactive Broadway show. Our server was Tommy. He was so nice and did an amazing rendition of Climb Every Mountain from The Sound Of Music. My family really enjoyed their time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to New York City!

    The servers/performers were amazing!!!!! They definitely made the experience so worth it. The food and drinks were also pretty good - overall I would highly recommend. I will point out though that we made reservations online (two weeks in advance) and they tried to seat us at the bar instead. We asked for a table and they refused, only the bar seating was available. There were several parties that were furious about being sat at the bar and the restaurant was very dismissive about it. The reservation system needs to clearly state that the bar seating is included - it was a very disappointing way to handle it and experience. Only the singing performers made this a 5 star experience!

    This was our third time at the restaurant and we keep going back because we love it so much! All of the staff are super friendly and very talented. They sing and dance to the best songs while also running back and forth with food and drinks. We also love how interactive they are with the guests.The food itself is delicious. My husband got the rib eye and I had their grilled chicken sandwich. Both were spot on and we would definitely get it again.

    I have a theater kid so we came for the Singing servers having no idea how the food was going to be. The menu is essentially comfort food and had very good flavors!Regarding the singing, it felt like a Non-stop show! Broadway songs sang by the servers and The servers have so much talent!We were celebrating a birthday and they came to our table and sang Happy birthday to the bday girl! She was so surprised and happy!If you like musical theater, this is a must in NYC.PS. I saw someone left a 1 star review because music was too loud. Really? If you don’t like loud music, don’t come. The purpose of this whole experience is the beautiful singing.

    Wow!!! We had an amazing time!!! The talent is absolutely incredible!!! Any one of them should and will be on Broadway!!! We were checked on by the manager. I also saw her busing tables. Love that!!! Team work! We also met Gayle! What a nice lady. She chatted with us for awhile. I didn’t feel rushed and she was sincere.One of the singers allowed my daughter the chance to sing some of the verse of a song in the microphone. My daughters are performers, so this was amazing for her! We appreciated her sharing the mic!!!My burger was a bit pink inside when I asked for well done, but they fixed it immediately! The salad came with the wrong dressing, but that was taken off the check. Very nice!! No hassle.I loved that you could make a reservation too. No waiting in a long line outside in the heat or cold!!!My only complaint was that it was a bit warm in the restaurant.One suggestion… a kids menu!!!This place is not to be missed! We will be back!

    This place was immaculate, they staff was super friendly and approachable, I only got a few of the singers names but they were all so nice to be around. Ben and our server Molly were especially incredible they came over to check on our big group of 20 multiple times on Saturday April 1st. they allowed a group of aspiring actors/singers/songwriters to flourish and have an amazing hour and a half. they were entertaining and made sure we all had everything we needed they also situated a shake issue without a problem. They were all really really really encouraging Molly even mentioned that she was 18 and had just graduated and moved there for the job. Overall the best experience at any restaurant Ive ever had. 100/10. I would go back a million times over.     I absolutely loved the food, but the singing is what will stay with me for a long time. Everyone who sang a song was breathtaking. Their voices were captivating, and they definitely know how to work a room! Three of the performers were kind enough to pose for pictures with my daughter before we left. If you are headed to NY, make a stop here!

    Came in for a dinner with my school. Spring break came to New York and wanted to try out fun things they already had a big party and just us are 70+ ppl they were able to seat us and make it work out.     Our daughter was very excited to dine here after seeing videos on Tiktok. It was easy to find and a five minute walk from our show. We came for the performing wait staff but were pleasantly surprised by the food. The burger, mac and cheese, and salad were very good. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and service was fast (seating time is limited to an hour). We were at a street side window not in the main dining room but still felt like the wait staff came through and performed just as much in our area. Our waitress Sara was fantastic! She took some extra time to talk and give advice to my daughter who is an aspiring singer. Sara is kind and an amazing performer. And Gayle personally visited the table! We hope to return on our next trip. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable.

    Gayle’s Broadway Rose is a must when coming to New York. The singing servers are incredibly talented, and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and vibrant! Not to mention, the food is fantastic! I was especially excited to come because of Cara, I follow her on tiktok (@cararosedipietro) and getting to meet and talk to such a beautifully talented person who is someone i look up to so much as a young performer, made coming here even more of an unforgettable experience.     I went for my 19th birthday last night and I’m still speechless. We got milkshakes and got sat on the back bar. When I tell you those were the best seats. you got a view of everything and get the full experience. The servers were spectacular and we had such an amazing time.     Its an experience, bring your out of town friends and family for something theyll never forget. Food was really good, service was quick, maybe too quick to the point we felt we were being rushed to leave with our swrvwr asking if we were ready for the check everytime she came by. My only other one complaint is that even tho we had a reservation for a week we got a little tiny table next to the server station where you couldnt really see much of the performance unless the singing servers walked around you. It felt more like a table for a walk-in than for a resy. Overall is something Id recommend to anyone trying to impress people visiting NYC.

    This was our second visit to Gayle’s Broadway Rose, and both times were spectacular. The menu is small but perfectly executed. I had the brick chicken one night and the chicken and waffles the second, and both were amazing. My daughter had the salmon and loved it both times. She also enjoyed her milkshake and I had a fun Negroni spagliato. Appetizers were also spot on. Our waitress, Kaitlin (apologies if I picked the wrong spelling) was wonderful and really made the experience fun for us. She even ended the evening by singing for us personally.Of course the big attraction was the entertainment. Each of the singers was fantastic, and the song selections were perfect for theater-goers. I could think of no better venue for a pre-show dinner than Gayle’s Broadway Rose.

The atmosphere alone sells the place, add in the incredibly talented and polite servers and delicious food and you’ve got a hit.     We dined August 2024 with two adults and two children. We chose this restaurant due to it being so close to the theater, the atmosphere and ability to make online reservations. I had been to Ellen’s and wanted to experience another similar place while supporting up and coming talents. I loved Gayle’s! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was classy and less gimmicky than Ellen’s (I know I’m comparing but it’s hard not to). The kids loved the singing and they sat us right on time for our reservation. I’d definitely recommend it here and would plan to go back. French dip with some added cheese and bacon jam was great and my daughter devoured the cheeseburger. If you enjoy live performances this is a great spot to experience. Bathrooms are in the shared lobby with the hotel, and prices are on par with the area. The only thing that was a little rough was the front desk kept reinforcing a 60-minute table limit that starts when you sit, and we didn’t get to order right away so we were unsure if we would have time for apps or dessert - my daughter got anxious but the waitress reassured us we could enjoy our meal and order whatever we wanted. We definitely weren’t rushed.

    Really good unique experience on our first trip to New York. Food was great and reasonably priced for the portion size. All servers are great singers. Really enjoyed the show. The only negative thing was that I felt a bit rushed. Felt conscious of being watched by a manager and heard them talking of trying to get people out 😆 the server brought our bill when we had just started dessert. Maybe this is an American thing I dont know? I understand they want as much turnover as possible but I felt I had to go as soon as I had finished and i wouldve liked to stay until the end. The annoying thing was that when we passed again an hour later our table was empty and they were still singing 😆 Apart from this would definitely return if ever in New York again the singing makes up for everything 😊

    Listen… you come here for the singer-servers. I did not come here expecting 5 star meals. In my opinion, the folks are singers, serving to make a living. And most of them are spectacular singers. You might find a diamond in the rough in the most unusual places.One of the singers sung “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston and I was like WTH? Damn good!I used to go to a place called Bergamo’s which had the same concept back home. I do have a humble suggestion… Have a small circle stage in the middle so that we can easily see the singers perform, instead of having to look around to see where they are. Something small that doesn’t take away from the business or having to take away a table. Three feet in diameter is fine. Some of the singers stand up on the chairs and that is smaller and could cause an accident.Keep singing guys!!!

    We (party of 8 - 4 adults, 4 children) had a great time at Gayle’s Broadway Rose last evening. Let me start by saying that we were able to make a reservation, so we knew our party would be a accommodated for dinner after our 3:00 show. The menu is large with mainly deli style food and our server, Quentin, was personable and made us feel welcome. Prices seemed a little high to my Philadelphia mindset, but they are in-line with other places in the Times Square area and the quantity of food received was enormous. The soups and sandwiches we ordered were tasty. However, the highlight of our visit was the incredible performance given by the waitstaff. Each and everyone of them had an amazing singing voice and entertained us throughout the meal with a variety of showtunes. We felt as though we were at our own personal Broadway show. Quentin even added in a song from Hamilton when he noticed our programs from the theater.This place has only been opened for five weeks so it does have limited hours, but I would encourage everyone to pay it a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

    Wow! We had a party of 25 dine at Gayles tonight. It was an incredible experience. The atmosphere is wonderful, the singing servers blew us away, service was spot on and the meal was excellent.     Amazing find! The servers were incredible!!! They truly belted a huge array of Broadway songs and a few Disney ones as well. Their talent was superb. Amazing voices and stage presence.They were also very attentive and kind as servers. Dont know how they do it all. Quadruple threat. The food was pretty good, of course a bit pricy, but very comparable to anything else in the Time Square area. Our party had the ribs, chicken sandwich and reuben. All were quite tasty. The only complaint was the meat reuben was cut very thick and I prefer it thin cut. I have already made plans to come back next time I am in NYC!

    Im visiting New York for the very first time (from Detroit) and after seeing this place on TikTok I knew I had to go at least once while Im here.     YOU GUYS, this is a must-visit when it comes to seeing any show on Broadway. I mean, what’s better than being sung to by professionals while eating amazing food right before you go see a Broadway show?We were seated very promptly (making a reservation is key!) and we were waited by Kiani Nelson, and when I tell you she can SANG!!I ordered the B.L.A.T. and it was absolutely delicious. I tad bit on the expensive side, but 1) it’s New York City and 2) you get a bang for your buck. The food is absolutely delicious.They rotate the singers and I asked Kiani what her favorite song to sing is, and she sang it!Overall, such a great place to visit and what a fun time me and my friends have.     Great food! Better than diner food! Waitstaff was pleasant and talented.     I had an amazing time taking my dad who has Alzheimer’s there for an alternative theatrical experience without the confines of being in a theater. The waiter was incredibly sweet, the talent of the staff is just amazing, I’m sure they all have great careers ahead of them singing.     This place is fantastic. My parents were visiting from out of town and we went here for dinner and all three of us had a great time.     I stumbled on Gayles Broadway Rose on 47th Street during a web search for a good Broadway restaurant last Monday. The description was interesting; like Ellens Stardust Diner with singing waiters and waitresses, but unlike Ellens they took reservations! I sent them an email requesting a reservation for 5 for last Wednesday, the 27th, after our matinee of The Music Man. Within hours I received an email back confirming our reservation. We arrived right at 5, they had our reservation and we were seated right away. The live music show started at 5 as well (take note, no live music before 5) and was superb. Our waiter and others took turns singing showtunes and popular music both solo and in duets while they efficiently took our orders and brought our drinks and food. Service was great, our food was great and reasonably priced! We really enjoyed our dinner and show and were sure to overtip the wait staff and performers. Lastly, the owner of Gayles, Gayle, personally visited every table to ensure that everyone was having a good time, and to ask for any suggestions on how they might improve the restaurant and entertainment. She was lovely, the restaurant was lovely, and we all had a great time. Suggest that others discover and enjoy Gayles Broadway Rose before it gets discovered like Ellens Stardust Diner. This is a 100% genuine review. :-)

    Had dinner at Friedman’s where Gayle’s Broadway Rose was performing. It ended up being a highlight of our trip. We had 38 Middle/High School students with us and 9 adult chaperones. The performers were great with the kids and everyone had a great time. All the performers voices were as good as you hear in Broadway Shows. When we return to NYC this will definitely be one of our must see stops.

    WOW!!! Stopped in at Gayle’s Broadway Rose on my way to see Frozen and had the best time! Got an amazing milkshake and heard my favorite musical numbers sung by the most talented waitstaff I’ve ever seen. It turns out that it was opening day, and if this is just the beginning I can’t even imagine what this place will become in time! Definitely make sure to check this place out since I’m sure there will be lines around the block soon.     I visited this gem of a place with my family this week and we were all knocked out by the experience. The singing waitstaff were stunning.     I got to come here on a school trip for spring break and got to go eat dinner there. They have some amazing singers that are also good waiters. They interact with you while they sing and they sing a wide variety of songs from famous tv shows and plays. I’m not a big fan of singing or listening to songs that are usually from movies but I can say that that was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed it. Along with the singing they also have some good food. The food I had for dinner was pretty good but the breakfast on had there a couple days later was amazing.     Went here for dinner Sunday night after a day in the city and I have to say it was AMAZING! Food was great and the servers were so kind. On top of that every server was an excellent singer!     We loved our visit to Gayles on July 29th. We made reservations in advance online. We got there about 45 minutes early expecting to wait until our reservation time. They were able to get us in after just a few minute wait. We thought the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very fun with the singing servers. We especially loved the Disney songs. Our waitress didnt rush us out and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. The volume of the microphone seemed a bit loud at first but we got used to it.     We celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday with dinner here and it was lovely. Promptly seated, immediately waited on, food comes out quickly which is great after a long day. The food is good. The staff went out of their way to make my daughter feel special by singing happy birthday to her and coming around frequently to sing.     I loved the food and the entertainment. I hated the little 2 top table that was right by the entrance and felt like an afterthought. It was the only tall table that literally looked down on a booth full of people. I felt exposed and embarrassed. It is hard enough to go to dinner alone.     This amazing restaurant and broadway-caliber staff totally made our night. We were trying to find somewhere to grab a bite before a show in the theatre district, and we were SO happy to happen upon Gayle’s Broadway Rose. The staff was incredibly talented, and the food was equally wonderful. Don’t think twice about the Pastrami Rueben or the Cabbage Roll appetizer. My husband loves ruebens and this was one of the best he ever had. The Reuben spring rolls were also fabulous. The intimacy of the staff was second to none, as they belted out several broadway favorites, getting up close to our 8 year old aspiring singer daughter. They were so incredibly friendly, and hospitable. There are also great views of the theatre district from their second floor. What a fabulous time we had, and we will definitely return!

We were blown away by the talent, but what made our experience truly special was the intimate feel of the performance. There are a few places in NYC that Ill go to if Im already there.     Gayles Broadway Rose takes over the Friedmans restaurant at the Edison Hotel from 5-8. I highly recommend making reservations. This is a more upscale version of Ellens Stardust Diner, the food is better, and the prices are comparable. I had the Friedman’s Burger. The herb fries were good, but the burger itself was nothing to write home about. I tried a bite of my friend’s Grilled Chicken Swisswich, and if I were to go back that’s what I’d get. It was very good! They say they’re famous for their milkshakes, but the milkshake wasn’t the best. I got the Vanilla s’mores one, and it was okay. I was surprised to find nuts at the bottom since the menu didn’t say that it had nuts in it, so just an FYI if you have any nut allergies. Our food came out quickly. The singer waiters and waitresses are very talented, and this is definitely something you should do in NYC!

    Had dinner here last night. What a amazing time; it was dining on Broadway. The singing was spectacular, a wide variety of songs covering an array musicals.The staff was kind and helpful. We enjoyed a family friendly dinner with unbelievable milkshakes.We spoke with the owner, Gayle who was onsite, walking around greeting guest and thanking them for visiting.Young or Old this is a must do in NYC!!

    Made a reservation for 6 pm. I had heard of this place online and it did not disappoint. Servers were great and they sang beautifully. The food was delicious. I tried their famous milk shake and it was addicting.

    Forget the other place, Gayle’s is the only place to go for a dinner & show experience! The staff were incredible! Literally serving you while they sang! They were also super engaging and so talented! Perfect spot for my daughter 13th birthday celebration! She’s really into Broadway and even got to belt out a line from Six! She didn’t want to leave!Oh, and the food was amazing and the environment was more upscale than a diner. Friedman’s has such a great history and aesthetic.I appreciated that I could make a reservation and get in with no wait. You may even see a celebrity or two!

    Liked the fact that you can make a reservation.The staff and their singing abilities were fantastic, gives an unforgettable dining experience for anyone visiting New York.Food was enjoyable and reasonably priced.The only downside was that we got the impression that we were being a bit rushed - our bill arrived with our dessert course.

    We truly had a blast - we went before a show but my party of 5 said we would definitely go back just for the “show” this place provides. If you are a Broadway fan, this was a must do. The talent was amazing. Also, we were pleasantly surprised with the food and drink quality, and the pricing was reasonable. We will definitely be back.
