    Ive been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while. There were two doors, one which I attempted to open but was locked and I thought the restaurant was closed because of the storm we were having, but thankfully after 5 minutes, I opened the right door and was greeted by Mr. Christopher. He was the waiter and very pleasant and helpful. After I placed my orders, I asked where the washroom/lavatory was, and I am pleased to announce that the washroom was clean, smelled lovely, spacious, had tissue, and soap. I ordered the tuna tartare and the cauliflower and had a lychee martini. Compliements to the chef(s)! The only thing was the tuna tatare was a wee-bit too salty, but for MY taste. The martini was on point-Ms. Paola was the bartender, and I was very much pleased with her drinks--so much so that I ordered another drink: the Hisbiscus Margarita. Kaylee, who brought my appetizer, was so sweet! I had, for an entrée, steak frites with truffle fries and salad. Since I had eaten up all my appetizers, I was only able to eat my truffle fries (yum) and dessert. I took the steak frites and mesclun salad home. Speaking of dessert, I had the Coconut Panna Cotta. It was very nice; there was Suger Smacks or Golden Crisp (or its generic equivalent) cereal on the top, which took me way back to my young days, but I liked it very much.All in all, the restaurant was just simply perfect! Not only perfect, but clean, bright, airy. The music was at a comfortable tone, and the tunes were nice. As I sat at my table, I could see passersby out the window look with wonderment as to what Terravita was. As I was finishing, more customers started to come in. Terravita, literally, is a breath of fresh, clean air in the neighbourhood. Thanks, Terravita and Christopher, Paola, and Kaylee. Ill be back, but with a bigger crowd! 💯💯💯💯💯✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽Job very well done!

    A vibey restaurant with great food and drinks in Washington Heights. We ate here for an early brunch on Sunday. The service was wonderful, very friendly and attentive. Drinks and food came out fast and everything was delicious. The music was so good I have new entries on my playlist from our meal here.

    This place was amazing!!! You could tell the ingredients were fresh. Probably the best burrata I’ve had. The unique textures and mixes make the experience even better. Everything is well served and presented. For dessert I would recommend the chocolate tree (for fun) and the pudin (so so so so so good I could not stop talking about it). If you are in NY, you should def visit.

    I tried this place for the first time on Valentine’s and WOW!! I was so impressed! The decor and ambiance was amazing. The food was IMPECCABLE. I kept telling my husband how this restaurant probably has a Michelin star chef because seriously it was GOOD!

    I went with some friends to have some drinks and snack.The place is really nice. The service was professional, maybe a bit extra. They ask all the time do you want other drink. We ordered the burrata,that was delicious, and the hummus, that was tasty. Both have some bread sticks, a few only. The drinks(bellini, margarita, sangria and whiskey sour) were really good made. In general is a nice and fancy place for the neighborhood, maybe a bit pricey.

    Me and my friends were here today for brunch and we had an amazing time. Our waiters were Nina & Juan who were great! Our food came out nice and hot with great presentation. Everything tasted delicious. We had a lot of food. For apps we got the calamari, octopus and seafood flatbread and it came out fast. The place is BYOB and we brought champagne that they accommodated for us. They have mock tails for people who don’t drink which was nice. The entrees were the usual brunch foods that were a good size/price and tasted extremely fresh. We will definitely be coming back, for the service and food!

    I went in here spontaneously for dinner, and I was not disappointed. The restaurants atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. The food was outstanding; I enjoyed the Maine Lobster and Ravioli as my main course, and the crème brûlée for desert was amazing. Moreover, the customer service was excellent. I will be returning.

    By recommendation I visited the Terravista restaurant, and I was very impressed by its spacious atmosphere, decoration and good taste of the place, it seemed unreal especially for the place where it is located, with traditional food. a true jewel in Washington Highs but the best were its meals and the excellent professional attention of the waiter Mr. Edison. The flavors and fusions of Mediterranean and Asian food make a true combination and explosion of flavors for the most demanding taste of people who like and are lovers of good food. A great selection of wines to choose from and especially if you are undecided you can ask Mr. Edison for help and he can recommend some house wine by the glass. The riesling is super and not very expensive, it also combined very well with our meals. Lamb Hummus and the avocado Thai salad with grilled salmon was delicious, they have a ten out of ten.

    Food was excellent. Had a medium steak with mashed potatoes. Very tasty. Served with avacado and tomatoes. Staff was very friendly. Lunch special comes with a Peruvian beer. I ordered a fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade. Amazing.

    Really great food and amazing service. We all loved the fluffy French toast.Our sever Tony was helpful in ensuring our dietary restrictions were fulfilled. He also split out bill so as to make sure we could split it within ourselves.Highly recommend this place.

    Decided to come by here for dinner and it was a great choice. What a gem of a place!! I had the Chicken Chipotle Carbonara and WOW, honestly one of the tastiest that Ive had. The staff was so kind, very attentive and alert to my every need. My waiter was Juan, super kind guy and very detail oriented. Just when I thought it couldnt get better, they had great coffee + dessert. This place wont disappoint!

    I would say 3.5 stars if I was allowed to give a half star... We checked out this relatively new spot for brunch. The inside was long and narrow and long, clean lines with modern design. They had more seating in the back, the set up can allow larger group comfortably.The atmosphere was friendly and laid back, but also a bit slow… We ordered Bacon Fritata and Classic Cheese Burger. Fritata was surprisingly good, very fluffy and seasoned just right. It came with something looked like a croquette. Whatever the name of this item is, it was packed with flavor, really delicious!I add Sunny Side Egg to the Classic Cheese Burger for $1 extra. It came with a side of thick-cut fries and a pickle. The egg was cooked perfectly. The burger didn’t have anything else on it, just the patty, cheese and egg. There was no option to add anything like lettuce or tomato either. Overall, it was a good burger, nice and juicy.Since they were not huge in portion, we ordered dessert. They didn’t have a dessert menu, but had a couple of desserts to choose from. We chose Chocolate Mousse. It was good, not great, but good.It was a nice brunch, the service was again very friendly and polite, but can be very slow. It took a while to get a bill, even thought it wasn’t busy in here. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry. The price is a bit high for this neighborhood, especially since the portion is a bit small.

    I want to give this place 10 stars if I could. I recently went here with friends and from the moment I entered the restaurant the hospitality was top notch! Simply being greeted at the door was a pleasure! And that’s no exaggeration. We out food, we were checked on 10 times by multiple different waiters other then just our personal assigned waiter. Everyone was so polite. The food was a 9/10 I prefer more seasoning and my steak was a bit chewy. However the service makes up for everything. Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The 4.7 stars on google do not lie!! Thank you for such an experience 🤎🤎

    I love this place! The food is amazing with a fusion of Internacional and French Influence. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Definitely recommend this little gem (not as little anymore since they expanded the space). A ++++

    Place has a great ambiance and service. food is delicious especially the Calamari and Duck tacos. But it’s PRICEY. The Purple Rain cocktail was AMAZING but 16 bucks while the cup is full of ice not worth it! It’s still worth the experience. Check it out :)

    Best restaurant in the heights, finally something different and delicious. Service is outstanding. My favorite drink is this Green Point, you would not find a better refreshing drink like this one anywhere. Restaurant is kids friendly and I had try everything in the menu and is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended

    Let me start saying the ambiance is amazing I felt like a lounge, this Is amazing place, food we started with the ceviche, to die for. tuna tartar. the shuffle fries, As for the drink my wife is a sevinion blanc, she did not enjoyed it. my mocktale great. As we are eating one of the HEAD OF CHEF came to the table to ask how is the food. I was so pleased and gratified for caring this amongst everything else superv. have to try the Hibiscus Margarita. Now I asked for a medium well stake. it cane well done. Now. from the waiter to the host apologized and that went a long way. My wife and i loved the music, dessert a pudding the pan with ice scream and 2 champagne drinks, what a amazing experience. I must say you have to try it.

    I visited this place while being in the area as I googled places to eat near me, I saw this place was familiar since it’s also in edge water which took over for EMMAS restaurant so I thought I’d finally check it out. I spotted the duck tacos which intrigued me even more! As soon as I went in it was a lovely setting and I was greeted and seated rite away, the gentleman who was there was very professional and catered to me. I ordered what I went for but was quite disappointed, the tacos came in a generic tortilla and the duck was dry! If you’re serving a delicacy such as duck it shouldn’t be on a bland tortilla and it should be a tad bit juicier due to the fatty juices. The pineapple chutney sauce (according to the waitress) was quite good, the wine menu for the area and restaurant was I’d say up to par. If some changes in the menu were made I’d definitely go back and be a repeated client.

    Thank you to the entire Terravita team for an amazing evening!The space is beautiful. Between the seating and the lighting, it’s the perfect cozy place for a night out.Service is high-touch without feeling too formal. From FOH to BOH, appreciation and passion for their craft is very clear.Highlights include the octopus, tuna tartare, cauliflower, arroz de mar, asparagus, and desserts that somehow felt modern and nostalgic at the same time. The entire menu looked amazing, and we will be back to try more. Thank you again ♥️

    Went there for brunch on a Saturday morning. The interior of the place is lovely, giving off that fine dining vibe. The food was very tasty once they got the items right. The issue we had was the service. The place was quite empty so I’m not sure why the service was so slow and the servers didn’t seem to know the menu well. If the service was better this would be a five for sure.

    While definitely expensive, this place is very good and worth the price tag. Duck tacos, pork belly bao buns, Brussels sprouts salad, and short rib entree were all superb. The cocktails were great too, and the service was excellent. The decor was also gorgeous. I’ll definitely be back.

    Terravita is a lovely restaurant 🖤 this is my 3rd time here and they have not disappoint. Their service is personal and professional, they make you feel very special. Their food was so good and served so beautifully, everything Ive tried has been delicious! Oh and my favorite drink of all time hibiscus margarita is made perfectly!

    Went for Mothers Day under a reservation during Dinner. I recommend a reservation on special days or if you are going with a big group. The experience feels like fine dining because portions are small and pricey. However, despite the price and size every dish that arrived tasted fresh, was well-prepared, and nicely plated. The drinks were also delicious and one came with a fire presentation. I recommend coming here for a special occasion or a date.

    Terravita was my go to place for years whenever I wanted something delicious with good quality. I think they are probably the most expensive restaurant in the area but I never cared because the quality was always 100% guaranteed! I commute from Jersey to this terravita cuz I lovee their cocktails and they dont have then in the jersey location.However, recently they’ve started making changes to what I considered an excellent menu. The cocktails I loved are no longer available. The do have other great options though so I could’ve adjusted. My problem is the food now. I took my mom for mother’s day and she had their new mar and montańa or something like that and she has been sick of her stomach ever since. We also ordered a burger and it was the smallest burger Ive ever had for like $30, it was ridiculous! They have excellent service and had excellent food too. I dont understand why they are making all those changes to their menu. Im definitely not interested in coming back anymore. Where before I didn’t care about the GEB and other tolls + paying for parking cuz it used to be just that good that it was worthy.

    I just left this restaurant and all I can say is Wow! -It was fantastic everything we ordered was delicious. I got the hash with an egg white and it was THE BEST thing I’ve eaten in a long time - Our waiter was attentive and refilled our mimosas every time our glasses were low. Come hungry and open to trying new things make sure you get the raspberry lychee mimosa it’s delicious- I will be back again and again! If you are uptown and want a beautiful place to eat -GO!!!!!

    MagicalThis place was all 10’s across the board. Their slow braised short rib was absolutely amazing! Tender, juicy and flavorful! It was my favorite of the evening.     Muy elegante! This is a 5 star restaurant. This gem is in the Dominican area of New York. The food was exquisite. I forgot to take pictures, but we were a family of five so we all tried something different such as the Riccoto pancakes, the French toast, omelet made to order and passion fruit Mimosas. Ummm.

    Me and my BFF went last night for my half birthday and did HH and made a meal of a bunch of appetizers.     My husband and I have been enjoying this place since they opened. Owners are present and heavily involved so everything runs smoothly. One owner is often around clearing tables and taking orders. Food has never disappointed and always great quality, fresh and tastes amazing! Our Valentines dinner last night was AMAZING! All the seafood was phenomenal, apps were awesome and the mussels were hearty ones, no disappointing tiny ones. Those and the short rib croquettes need to be on the regular menu. And we had all three desserts because we have had them before and couldn’t make up our minds. The place never disappoints.

    I went here with two of my best friends, trying it on a whim and in part that it was in a convenient meeting spot, and we were blown away.Every recommendation the staff made was right on, and even those we separately picked were amazing.In taste, presentation and quality, all were stellar.     Very nice place in the Heights, service was good and the bar prepared excellent cocktails. Had hot and sweet calamare appetizer that was not bad, Oxtail and risotto for dinner did not disappoint. We also had steak frites which were flavorful but tough. Good place for dinner before attending events at the United Palace.

    Omg!!! Amazing grilled octopus, amazing risotto and drinks were delicious. Service was great and I went with a group of teachers and if they can handle us without anyone getting hurt, they are awesome.     I absolutely love this place! Nice little gem in Washington Heights!I have tried items off their brunch and dinner menu and so far all of the food is absolutely amazing. The Chipotle Carbonara is the best thing I’ve tried. It’s creaminess, soft chicken breast, and hint of spice all blend perfectly to create an amazing dish!They also make some tasty cocktails, my favorite is definitely the Green Gin Giant, perfect balance of flavors.Everything is absolutely delicious. The staff is kind, and very attentive. The nice minimalist and clean design of the place is much appreciated, very modern and airy, even now how they have their outside set up is nicely designed.Absolutely love and recommend this place!

The service and the food were both exceptional.I loved the Lobster Bisque entree. It was well worth the price for the quality and the portion size was just right. It was creamy and delicious! My partner ordered the salmon with veggies which was also very good.The service was great throughout our dinner. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We felt welcomed.I would love to visit again to try more menu items as well as the specialty drinks. The hibiscus margarita was refreshing.

    This place is so pretty, I loved the décor and ambiance. I went with my friends over the weekend for a couple of drinks and appetizers and everything was so good.     I really really like this place....10/10 recommend!! I always order for delivery but I have gone a few times for pick up and the staff are friendly, professional and attentive. When Ive gone for pick-up and my food hasnt been ready they would offer me to sit down, offered me water, coffee, any drink on the menu - loved it.     Is my second time visiting the restaurant this week. The food is amazing, first time I had a sweet soy glaze salmon with mashed garlic potato and a side of aged risotto. Every thing was cook to perfection, the salmon skin were crispy and the glazed made it perfect. Second time I order herb lemon chicken with a side of the risotto, it was espectacular.     This is FINE dining in the Heights! Very great food, drinks, ambiance, and service! You get it all! But you must pay the TOP dollar for it. My only issue with this spot is that it feels like drinks are jacked up to a 600%+ level. Usually it feels like 300%, but the drinks are pricey and they got rid of the unlimited drinks with their brunch menu. All in all I do recommend, it just feels like fine dining prices from midtown and downtown Manhattan, but in the hood.

Our group consisted of 15 or more and everything was excellent.I first arrived and was welcomed by a gentleman in black at the front of the establishment. He was very warm and I could sense his smile from under his mask. He was very professional and friendly, I explained my reservation and time, I asked if the bar was open since I was a bit early.I was escorted and seated at the bar. The gentleman introduced himself as Jose, then offered to retrieve the bartender. I was greeted by the bartender who was also named Jose. He knew how to make The French 75 which I quickly ordered with the Tuna Tar Tar.As the remaining members of our party arrived they were ushered over to the bar and they began ordering the various drinks on the menu. The Hibiscus margarita I believe was a hit. It was a beautiful red color.The Host Jose continued to check in making sure everything was perfect. He notified us that the private area was ready when we were ready. He asked if we should sit and start the evening.The birthday cake that was brought to the restaurant was carefully handled by Jose and stored by management. It made a special appearance later in the evening.Our server Tony was a model type who was very tall. He was able to wrangle up the group to order drinks and then later our appetizers and main courses.The dishes were all very tasty, more drinks were ordered, and I was introduced to a drink called a Negroni, but all white. That was indeed my favorite of the night besides The French 75 which was also expertly crafted by the bartender Jose.After all the festivities, speeches and lots of cake, cake, cake !!🎂 I was greeted on my way to the wash room by Jose and a lovely young lady that presented the cake earlier in the evening.. they wished me happy birthday and I was pleasantly surprised.On my way out I told them that everything was perfect, and I promised to return for brunch as soon as I could.Overall, the service was incredible and atmosphere was too.Thank you to Jose, and the entire team at Terravita !!

    Went for brunch and it was amazing! Amazing service, they were so attentive! Its a really inviting space with beautiful lighting and the food was a 10/10!     It was late on a Wednesday night, my mother and I were on our way back to our hotel. Terravita NYC was the only place we passed that had a nice outdoor seating area that was also heated. You could tell that the owners really spent some money and time making sure that the vestibules outside were comfortable and cozy for the diners. The servers were also super friendly and obviously showed genuine interest in the customers well being.We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and the braised short rib and chicken panini for our entrees. The 4 stars is because the calamari was tough but had good flavor. My short rib was perfectly cooked and had a nice undertone of rosemary that wasnt overpowering the meat. My mothers chicken panini was crunchy and flavorful made with fresh ingredients.I ordered the mojito and was pleasantly surprised with a slight effervescence and a punch of fresh mint. I highly recommend the mojito, it was the best Ive ever had. My mothers California cabernet was fruity and from a fresh bottle so it wasnt sour.The drink/spirit menu is extensive and you are sure to find a drink that pleases your taste buds. Overall I recommend this place to anyone but be careful because the bill will rack up. Usually I cant justify spending upwards of $175 on dinner for two with drinks, but this place was definitely worth it!

Found this gem, the food was great, clean environment, friendly and attentive staff. The chicken panini I had was so good! This place literally brought me back to life lol Definitely going back again!

    Had brunch today. The restaurant looks very nice and clean. We ordered 4 different meals, each was very good. The service was good too.

    Lovely restaurant, the interior was quite nice.I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were delicious. Our server was attentive, and the place was not all that busy when we arrived (close to opening).

    The worse part of our evening was the mediocre service. I dont like it when gratuity is automatically added to my bill, for one Im a 20% to start tipper secondly it was only three of us. Its terrible when servers know they will get a tip regardless of behavior and it showed. We were there to celebrate a friends birthday. The server was inattentive, also they didnt remove finished apps plates until poor guy was standing there with our dinner. They didnt refill or ask if we wanted more water. Food was good, drinks delicious, inside decor very nice upscale.The area was very undesirable, under scaffolding and dirty. Parking a nightmare, however there was a lot 1 block up $25 for car $35 for jeep. Really sucks because we work at the hospital so this could have been the go to spot for celebrations.

    Wonferful place!! Im so glad I finally got to try it out. Food was unbelievable, poke bowl is a must try! Everything was fresh, the drinks were GREAT, the environment lovely... staff members were so kind. We got Juan as our waiter, lovely young man! 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back asap.

    Fun breakfast menu with both Dominican elements and other flavors - we got a savory dish of mashed guineito, poached egg, sausage, and cheese as well as a sweeter dish of lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote. All excellent. We also tried the black out smoothie which was delicious and a good price for the amount we got. Overall, very pleased with the experience and thrilled to have another breakfast option in the neighborhood!

    Wow. The outdoor seating that they set up feels like youre in Greece, the food is delicious, and the cocktails are incredible. Try the Terravita cocktail. Its unbelievable.
