    The service here was fantastic. We were very happy with our shrimp cocktail and crab cake appetizer. The porterhouse for 2 was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The complimentary drinks and dessert for our anniversary was a pleasant surprise. We will back!

    Yeah! I made it today. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptionally great. Strongly recommend 👍I just want to say thank you for all your help for my mom. My mom almost get hit by a crazy woman, thanks for all the heroes stand out when my mom was in dangerous. I will go in person to say thank you when I am in NYC and enjoy great fresh seafood in your restaurant.

    The food was very good. We were pleased with all appetizers, sides, the porterhouse, and the dessert. I do think the cuts at Keens were a bit more decadent, but these cuts were extremely flavorful. Steak comes out on the hot plate with boiling butter.Service the best I’ve had in an NYC steakhouse. Waiters were very attuned, from taking coats, making sure glasses were full, and even plating our meals when the food came.Atmosphere was tight but cozy. I am used to the larger real-estate from the classic steakhouses, and felt the main dining room was a bit tight. I found myself inadvertently hitting passing waiters with arm movement from time to time. The red coloring of the room is perfect for overall theme — meat.

    First, Ill say that the ribeye was perfect. Perfectly cooked in the inside with a nice crispy crust and the fat was perfectly rendered. The sea bass was excellent as well, no complaints there at all. The crab cakes were decent as well. The Mac and cheese and asparagus were pretty average. My biggest complaint was just the chip ice in the old fashioned.

    If we could give 10 stars we would. Absolutely amazing food and service. The ribeye was melt in your mouth, Chicken Parm was outstanding. Delicious doesnt even come close. Service phenomenal. Atmosphere was comforting and inviting. You would be crazy to pass this up when in NYC.

    We were greeted immediately by the staff and shown to our perfectly situated corner table. Our appetizers, salads and steaks were delicious and well seasoned. To finish our meal, we’re provided with a complementary cheesecake.It was the perfect weekday meal to end our trip in NYC.

    My wife and I had an amazing dinner the other night at Royal 35 Steakhouse. From the food to the service, it was extremely amazing, and the cocktails were delicious. I love what they crust on the fillet and cooked it perfectly to my liking. We finished off our dinner with more cocktails and tiramisu. I only got 1 bit, but it was delicious. The only thing I would have changed was the butter packets. I wish there was whipped butter for the bread for such a high scale restaurant. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed everything, and we will be back!

    1- Food 4/5. Chilled seafood platter was average tasting and there was a time when Royal 35 served this dish with dry ice which made the presentation better. No more dry ice I guess 🤷🏻. Portorhouse steak was well marbleized and cooked the way we ordered it. Sides were average.2 - Service 4/5. Nothing more nothing less.3 - Ambiance 4/5. Nice restaurant. Classic steakhouse feel.4 - Reservations 5/5. Fairly easy to get.5 - Value 4/5. We will return and recommend. But there is definitely better steakhouses in Manhatten.

    Everything was literally perfect. The steak was out of this world and the fish was by far the best fish I had. Our sever Ash was extremely kind and attentive. Although it was our first time there the staff made us feel like we were regulars. Highly recommend coming here. I will definitely be back

    Seated quickly, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. You could see the waiters checking each table as they passed to sure that everyone had what they need. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the server who bought it out also helped dish out the sides that we ordered. My table had filet mignon & New York strip. For sides we had asparagus and mushrooms. The asparagus was flavored with fresh garlic, and the mushrooms included onions… It was all delicious! Our waiter brought out some dessert wine as well, it was a nice sweet Muscato. I highly recommend this steakhouse and I would definitely return. They have outdoor seating options as well as indoor and a bar.

    We headed here for their 3 course lunch menu and it certainly didnt disappoint. The portion sizes were just enough for us, and the food was excellent.The staff were attentive and recommended an excellent bottle of red to go with our meal. I definitely recommend.

    I just wanna say. This place is fantastic! Amazing ambiance, staff, and food! Had dinner with my SO for her bday and it was hands down one of the best meals from a steak house we’ve had ( been to Keens, Peter Lugers(awful), Gage & Tollner, Christos, Ruths Chris, etc— you get the picture). We had a porterhouse for two which blew us away. It was juicy, medium rare how we enjoy it, tender/ melt in the mouth and just the right amount of salt. Easily a 9.5/10 for a porterhouse. We had the sautéed broccoli (10/10 - I’d eat that everyday if I could, but I also love broccoli so excuse my bias comment. It had garlic and a lovely butter flavor as well) and the mashed potatoes (decent but not my go to. Prob an 8/10 to me, but my SO loves potatoes so she’d say 10/10 since it didn’t get firm after it cooled a bit). Dessert was the tiramisu and that was the best I’ve ever had. It was perfect— Moist, full of flavor and the right amount of sweetness. Cocktails and moscato also hit the spot. I recommend the sherif old fashion hands down. All in all, this place is perfect and we will definitely be back. The hospitality and food were incredible! What else can you ask for!?

    This steakhouse is truly amazing and our group loved it. The wait staff was courteous. I ordered the crab cake for an app., was delicious also had the lamb chops which were tender and tasty. My party ordered a filet mignon and a porterhouse for two, they had a blast with it, was served sizzling! The sides were generous portions, sauteed mushrooms and spinach. The red wine our server recommend was flavorful. Truly, everything was just perfect. When you visit the City and looking for a good restaurant you ought try this place. We had a great meal and a wonderful experience.

    I didnt know what to expect but was praying our night would be amazing here. We were first timers celebrating my husband Royals 46th birthday!! The ambiance was everything perfect and intimate. The food, everything was the bomb!! Our waiter was attentive and who I believe was the general manager was on point walking back and forth making sure guest were getting the best experience. The desert was an unexpectant complimentary treat and was delicious. Pricey but definitely worth it!!! You only live once and I believe you celebrate the ones you love!!!

    There are so many great adjectives to describe this restaurant. I came on a Wednesday at 6pm for a party of 4. We were greeted and seated right away. Covid protocols were in place.The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Customer service was great. The manager checked in on us twice. I appreciated that extra added value to our dinner. Our server Remi (spelling) was the best.Lets start with the delicious drinks. They were all good. The Royal 35 Martini, Royal 35 Cosmo, Sherifs Old Fashion and LI Iced tea did not disappoint. They were the perfect strength and just so good. Shout out to the bartender.Now to the food....EVERYTHING was delicious. Lamb chops, sea bass, prime rib, lobster mac n cheese, calamari, bacon....just cooked and seasoned to perfection. I have to separately mention the spinach. I have never had spinach so good.Please visit this restaurant and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I am a fan and I would go again.

    Great quality steak that is cooked to perfection no matter how you like it. After eating I didn’t feel all sluggish and tired, the steak sat well in my belly. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and invested. Everyone was on there A game. The red wine, asparagus and broccoli complimented the steak very well. Definitely one of the top steak houses.

    Being from the Midwest and having grown up on a large cattle ranch and being extremely finicky about beef, I was initially skeptical about a steakhouse in NYC. The instant we walked in and saw the giant meat cooler where they were dry aging their beef I was beyond impressed!From start to finish the meal was perfectly done! Our server, Ash, did an amazing job taking care of us with the highest level of service! Every single dish that we tried was perfectly executed from the dry aged bone in ribeye to the filet to the orange butter cake.It was our friends birthday and they brought us all a delicious liqueur as a finish to an already impressive experience. When we were leaving we got to meet Sherif....the owner and he was so gracious!There is nothing they could have done better!

The wait staff, charming, informative, and excellently attentive to serve and provide to keep you focused on your meal and company. And, while all this may elevate the dining experience, in the end, of course, its all about the food... and now we catapult to light speed!PERFECTION. Plain and simply.• The Organic Seasonal Greens with Fresh Cherry Tomatoes - is enlivened with mouth-watering vinaigrette to get your juices flowing.• The French Onion Soup - is exceptional. Served properly piping hot. Effervescent, which only enhances every tastebud baptized in deliciousness, and, still, landing lightly before the entree arrives.• The Filet Mignon - melts in your mouth, full in flavour, prepared absolutely flawlessly! Here is where Gotham authenticity continues to live on in tradition.(Without exaggeration: for all the hype around Juniors its all been lost in the tourist-trap commercialization. They have NOTHING even remotely close to what is served at the Royal 35)• Raspberry & Lemon Sorbets (not pictured, sorry) - consistent with everything else, effervescent, light, subtle, not at all overdone in any way, also made in-house, like everything else. Typically a bigger fan of Raspberry, the Lemon stole my heart.• My well-used water glass never saw its bottom.• The dry-age meat spectator glass fridge in the back, to see whats coming and how well things are attended to, is a nice touch.• The decor and ambiance is a well curated, muted, sexy, and intimate classic style.I would hope anyone elses experience to be as wonderful as mine.     Time to review 👑 Royal 👑 35Everything happens for a reason! 😉Here’s the story, I live in New York and I had guest from Buffalo, We planned to take him to one of my fave pubs and surprise my bartender friend and introduce my guest to my friend. Didn’t happened because they were closed! 🤭🤫😐Found Royal 👑 35 by accident and decided to give a try and see the meat aging cabinet, walked in and seat at the bar and start ordering, got pretty large wine menu and couldn’t decide what to drink 😅😅 I waned to try everything 😂 asked bartender for recommendation and got good wine 🍷.We were so hungry and just wanted to eat something 😋 ordered medium Prime New York Strip Steak 🥩 and got medium rare! Didn’t complain and just wanted enjoy my Christmas night and eat my dinner. 😉However, service was pretty good, classic decoration and great atmosphere! I would put Royal 👑 35 to my third place 🥉My first favorite place: Taste Of Texas in Houston Texas, Two: Nusr-Et Steakhouse Istanbul location, and third: Royal 35.Wine menu was fantastic, awesome 👏The experience was Absolutely amazing!For next year I am expecting little cool menu, Especially T-bone 🥩 on the menu, hope they can added 😉 and promise I’ll checkout as soon as can.I’m very happy I discovered this place by accident and met with Sherif, I will stop by soon with loved one and pick a Albanian bottle of wine 🍷.If you are a meat lover and/or love steaks, give this place a try, trust me you wont regret it.

    One of the BEST steakhouses I‘ve ever visited ! The food is just awesome good and the whole atmosphere in the restaurant is breath taking - the staff is making the experience even better as they are very helpful and nice. Tip: ask for a table not in the main hall but next to the wine shelf in the floor as you have your separate space

    The experience was Absolutely amazing!!! The waiters were excellent and very knowledgeable of the menus and what wines to pair with my meal. The chef visited our table to see how we enjoyed our course which included one of the best ribeye steaks Ive ever had. It was cooked perfectly throughout bursting with flavor. Good service will definitely go back absolutely in one of my top 10 for New York City steakhouses Higher end place but some what out of the way from the busyness of Midtown near Penn Station its far enough back that you feel like youre out of the mix. 7.2022 hit the sea bass on my last trip here - awesome.     From start to finish this was simply an amazing experience idI recommend to anyone. Somewhere in the middle of Manhattan there is a place that blends beautiful prime dry Aged beef with that old style family steakhouse feeling. From the entrance every single person we met was genuinely kind, attentive and just all around great. Literally from the hostess to the manager! So bravo there, seriously amaaazzzing.Onto the the food, we had a table of five people coming from work craving a good cut of beef. Not one single person was unhappy with their meal. Everything was perfectly cooked. Confused abuab sides get the Mac, mushrooms and creamed spinach. The were to die for!!Thank you for a wonderful evening celebrating my last day in NYC.

    We went here for dinner our last night in NYC.... To say it was outstanding would be an understatement! Unbelievable presentation on our appetizer and steak and lamp chops cooked to perfection. Sides were generous and not over the top. Too full for dessert but they had a great selection of the traditionals. Quiet Cozy atmosphere.... 2 thumbs up. 5 stars no doubt. Already talked about going back our next trip.

    Food and service was fantastic. Started with the most amazing tomato and mozzarella appetizer, then enjoyed the porterhouse for two ($109), the mac and cheese and the creamed spinach. The wait staff sang happy birthday to my girlfriend and gave her a delicious orange cake with ice cream on the house. Great experience. Would go again, but believe the $$ on Googles page is misleading and should be increased.

    We came in as a party of 6 and the service was excellent. All of their steaks are USDA cuts and you can see the dry aged steaks hanging in a refrigerator when you walk in. I shared the porterhouse for two with another person and loved it. I would definitely come back again. This is a very convenient location.

    What a pleasure ! There are many steakhouses in NYC, but this small, quaint one had it all - atmosphere, service and amazing food !I was traveling alone and sat at the bar (seats for 4 at the bar proper and a few cocktail tables)My host for the evening was a lovely man from Albania, Sheriff. My steak was perfectly medium rare and the wine recommendation paired perfectly. There is a small area for outside seating on a beautiful night and the staff if friendly and accommodating.

I was then handed to a server named Val and again amazing, excellent service. Coming from Canada where everyone’s supposed to be nice is no match to what I received at Royal 35. From start to finish, a definite must go if you’re ever visiting New York or of the locals want a place to go for a special night out.Oh and the food, probably the best steak I’ve ever had, meat would melt in your mouth and portion size was great. 12/10 rating !

    For me this is a bit of a hidden gem. One that was hiding in plain sight. The food was very well prepared. Steak came out sizzling on the plate, something that isnt always true with fajitas.     Before coming to NYC, I took the time to read reviews on some restaurants and Royal 35 popped up. Perused the menu, hours of operation, and location. It didn’t take long to decide on this establishment. Upon arriving, we were a little late after reservations, but was able to be seated. We were pleasantly greeted at the door by the beautiful hostess who directed us to our table as well. The waiter was polite, patient, attentive, and very friendly. Once our food arrived-AMAZING! Presentation, temperature of food, the waiter and a few other men cleared the table to make room. They then proceeded to place our sides on our plates. We ordered Prime New York Strip, Bone-in Ribeye, creamed spinach, Mac-n-cheese, and onion rings. Everything was cooked to perfection! I felt like a Queen being served. The atmosphere was intimate, warm, and inviting. When it comes to customer service, Royal 35 definitely rolls out the red carpet! This establishment should definitely be on your radar! Upon arriving, we were greeted by the owners who warmly welcomed us as they escorted us to our table and passed by the various cuts of meat that are stored for one’s viewing. The ambience reminds one of old world Europe, very tastefully done with mahogany wainscot and perfect lighting for a truly timeless experience. The food is absolutely a work of art in both presentation and flavor. The t-bone was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths. The cold crab and seafood towers are a feast for the eyes, presented with dry ice. It is the freshest seafood, even better than anything we’ve had in Malibu.     This is a much unheralded, underrated steakhouse. We had one of the most delicious meals. Porterhouse for 2, charred but black & blue inside. Not salted to a fault, just perfect. Our side dishes were equally as good. I forgot the name of our wine, wait was it a bottle from the Darioush winery? Yes, I believe it was. Wow it was such a joy. The wine list is quite extensive. We also loved sitting at the bar before we sat for dinner. We loved the bartender. He knows how to mix and present his cocktails. Dont miss this little gem.     I discovered this gem of a steakhouse over a year ago, and was looking forward to visit again after the long quarantine, when my parents came to visit. I am happy I did.I would have loved to have shown them the beautiful interior of the restaurant with its wine walls, dry-aged steaks and the beautiful decor, but the warm welcome of the staff and the food made up for it.The tomato and mozzarella salad was the freshest I had eaten in a long time bringing back memories of my grandparents’ farm. The sizzling rib-eye and porterhouse for two were simply perfect; the Mac and cheese and creamed spinach a delicious addition.Our waiter was wonderful and the manager pleasant and accommodating. There were only a couple of tables outside, but we never felt rushed. When the manager found out that my parents were visiting after a long time, he sent over a complimentary orange butter cake and a couple of glasses of moscato wine, which warmed my heart. I can’t say enough for the beautiful visit we had last week at Royal 35.I am grateful for these little places that bring back normal and beauty during these hard times. Thank you!!! We will be back.

The restaurant is beautiful it was very quiet which was a welcome change from the day. Between the four of us we had ordered Porterhouse for two, NY Strip Caesar salads, onion rings, crab cake with Mac and cheese. All was very delicious. The only complaint would be we ordered the steaks medium and a few pieces of the porterhouse were raw.The wait staff was attentive and friendly. All in all I would recommend this steakhouse.     The second I stepped into this place it stole my heart. From the fragrant smells to the smoking hot waiters.... I couldnt believe where I was. I stood there in the entrance blocking everybody entering and exiting for 30 minutes in utter awe. My eggs were being shattered as I was still in disbelief of the shear beauty of the restaurant. When a big strong handsome waiter came to seat me I was already drooling - not from the food but from the waiter. I ordered a steak and it was very expensive and I had to sell my dog in order to buy it, BUT it was the BEST steak I HAD EVER eaten. I was crying from the flavors that entered my mouth. With joyful tears in my eyes I continued shoving meat into my mouth. My friend ordered a Ribeye, which I also tried. For the next hour I shoved meat in my mouth. I also shoved my friends meat in my mouth and it tasted amazing. I was I could try whatever meat the waiters had. Because when they walked by it smelt great. I was 200% recommend to everybody even if you are poor like me.

    My wife and I were looking for a spot during the pandemic to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We tried a few other spots but they said they had no tables available so I emailed this restaurant. We ordered the porterhouse for 2, a baked potato for myself and creamed spinach for my wife. The steak was by far the greatest piece of meat I have ever had. I live in a farming community and I buy cows by the half and I still havent had anything this good. The creamed spinach was so good we were instantly texting people home about it. Im not sure how you improve on a baked potato but this place did it. Now to the service. I have never in my almost 40 years of life seen a ENTIRE staff making sure you enjoyed your time. This place is amazing. Ash our waiter made sure we never had to wait for anything, even if it was just another scoop of spinach or a refill on our wine.

Potatoes or rings over mushrooms. Wedge delicious, other salads as well. Very attentive waiter, Ash, and staff. Ask for Ash. Special occasion. Sharif sent us a treat from the bar and in addition to our desserts, Ash brought another on the house. A lot of food! Coffee and dessert beautiful. Wine selection includes Girgich, Far Niente and Joseph Phelps Insignia. But you’ll need to float a loan for that one. Five stars. I know my steak house now when I come to NYC! Bravo!

    We went all the famaly for a quick dinner in a fancy dinner steakhouse and the waiter took care of us the same way as if we took two hours and a half and spent a 1000$. The poterhouse steak was just amazing. Perfectly cooked and we ordered side orders of veggies (brocoli and aspargus).The waiter offered us on the house the famous New York cheesecake wich was insane, the coffea and a last litle mosacato to seal the evening.I recommand this restaurant to any meat lover for the quality of the food, the hospitality of the staff and the generosity.Definitely going back.Simon GSM Foooring

    So my mom really wanted to get some Steak while we were in NY and after reading the other comments about this place I made a reservation (online and super-easy). My mom loved the big Steak (around 50$ and she was more than full after that), the side dishes were huge (had to have them packed to take them home actually) and the wine was delicious so we definitely did not go home hungry. Friendly and very professional staff, I felt like high society in there. Atmosphere and style of the place is luxurious. And they have WiFi (which is rare in NY?). So after a wonderful meal, full stomachs and totally nice prices - wed like to leave 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    Divine, everything is fabulous !The outdoor seating area is very cozy, well cover for rain or wind, the food was extraordinary, very tasty and the steak just incredible, the wine delicious, and the service spectacular they make you feel very welcome they dont rush you and very friendly, we celebrated my husband birthday and William one of our waiter offered us a special dessert, we had a memorable evening and would definitely come back. A special thank you to all the team.

    This was our first trip to NYC and just had to visit Royal 35 after reading the reviews on line. This definitely is the best steak restaurant we have ever eaten in.     I have been dining here since its opening. Each and every time it seems to amaze me. On top of the Great food, the team that Alfred, Adam and Sherif have put together, is second to none. This Saturdays waiter made a suggestion that will now become my standard while enjoying my meal at Royal 35, Listen to the genius of this. Instead of the Porterhouse for three, he suggested the Porterhouse for two and add a Rib-eye. A selection of three great steaks instead of just two!! of course, they were cooked to perfection, served in five star fashion, and in a elegant atmosphere. This after great oysters on the half shell, jumbo lump crab meat cocktail and a terrific salad (The house dressing is unique and fantastic!) to start!! Do not miss this restaurant, it is truly a GEM, and second to none as a TOP NOTCH Steakhouse!!

    I really liked the atmosphere and their traditional bone in Ribeye steak. I appreciate the chef for cooking it well done without burning it. Staff is friendly. Be aware the platters are quite large enough to be shared.

    Wow. Just wow. The steak is where its at. I have never been to a restaurant in NY before and I was not disappointed. From the elegant entrance and small bar, to the large open dining area that felt like a private dining space. Loved all the attention to detail and the service whilst being attentive, is not stuffy at all. The steak is sublime. Worth every single penny.

    Enjoyed a great dinner there last Thursday. Pub-like atmosphere in the front where you can eat at wooden tables or the bar. There is also a special lighter fare bar menu. Club-like atmosphere in back suitable for business or important occasions. Highlights for us included the dry aged porterhouse, oysters, sauteed spinach, royal 35 salad and the German potatoes. A surprising highlight, suggested by our waiter, was the warm orange butter cake for dessert. You got to try it.

    Really good ribeye steak (ordered rare+) and sauteed mushrooms. The lobster tail was a bit overcooked. Filet Mignon was spectacular. Shrimp cocktail was really good as well. Good ambience, and nice light music playing. The Canadian bacon was okay. Would be better if it was just bacon.

    I came here on Saturday night for dinner and Im glad I did! Everything was amazing from the food to the service and the restaurant itself was decorated beautifully. This might be a new Steakhouse but they know what they are doing. They treat you like family and back it up with great food! Ill be back soon.

    Its a beautiful restaurant. I loved it. The staff are amazing. the owner is a great guy he is very attentive, and nice. he made us feel welcome . the staff made us feel welcome, they was very nice. we felt comfortable. the food was amazing. the food had flavor and it was very delicious. they give a great amount of food. the drinks are amazing. i tasted a wine that was very good. everything was delicious and amazing. this restaurant is wheelchair accessible. they have bathrooms. they have hand sanitizer on site. they follow all procedures and safety measures for corona virus. they have outside seating. I will come back to this restaurant.

    My daughter graduated from NYUs Stern School of Business and we needed a great restaurant to celebrate her achievement. She loves steak and I really like the reviews and location. Because NYUs Commencement takes place in Yankee Stadium at 11am, it was important to find a nice place that accommodate a late lunch. Royal 35 and our fantastic server, Remy turned out to be the perfect spot.We were the only diners at 2:30, so their beautiful dining room seemed like a private event. Remy recommended steak for 3 with an additional rib eye. This was perfect for my daughter, my two sons and my husband. Being a vegetarian, I didnt care for the steaks that arrived (according to my family) perfectly cooked on sizzling hot plates.I had a salad, broccoli and a baked potato there side of my head. All if it was delicious.What week remember the most is how Remy treated us. It was a special day and he provided the perfect touches, from great recommendations to a complimentary dessert for the graduate.Mark your special occasion with a lunch or dinner at Royal 35. You will feel like a queen, or king.

    This decor inside looks like Disneylands haunted castle. The ribeye was huge and cooked just as requested. The sides were good, but the wine selection is smaller than experienced at most steakhouses. I cant remember our waiters name but he was fantastic and made the experience much more enjoyable.
