    We celebrated our friends 40th birthday at 48 Lounge and were fortunate to snag a last-minute reservation. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, making it a great spot for socializing. The seating is exclusively on cozy couches, adding to the relaxed, comfortable vibe—perfect for hanging out with friends. They offer a wide variety of drinks, and the peach margarita was absolutely delicious! The live DJ kept the energy up with great music, even prompting some dancing. We cant wait to come back!

    This is a very cool space. I attended an after work event here and I really enjoyed myself. Good food, nice staff.Lady, Taylor, Saif, Felipe, Danny and Whitney were all fantastic. They were very professional, helpful and personable. They all contributed to a fantastic experience.I would definitely come back.

    I went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and everything was great! The live dj was amazing playing hits and the customer service we received from the waitress and the manager Anthony was lovely. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend this place. One suggestion I do have is maybe more options for the brunch hours.

    Excellent drinks and appetizers. The blueberry margarita and truffle mac & cheese balls are a must try. The music is not too loud so easy to communicate without screaming.

    Great swanky looking venue. Couches for reservations, bottle service, and if you just want to sit at the bar thats available too. We just walked right in and sat down. Really enjoyed our night and the DJ was awesome. Youll definitely enjoy yourself

    From the time of booking to the day of, it has been amazing! The staff has been really tentative to what I wanted and needed. The hostess has also been amazing the night of. Had a mid size party of 17 guest and every single person had a great time! Shanique, Brian and Yanetza have all been superb for making all of this happen! I definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a laid back environment with great music!

    Honestly sets the bar for what to expect from lounges in the area. As soon as you walk in; they politely greet you and ask to hang your coat. Their service in general is some of the best Ive seen in the city, they really try their best which is hard to find nowadays. Didnt order food, but their bar service is top notch. Will definitely come here again.Edit: After reading other reviews I see their service is very popular. My suggestion is to just give it a shot for yourself; it speaks for itself!

    Lately it has been a little slow at nights as far as the crowd but the food, the food is great(FYI it’s small bites). The wagu burgers, dumplings, chicken satay and chocolate brownies are yummy. The drinks are ok in my opinion my only complaint is that they don’t have french fries

    Perfect spot to hang out after a show. It wasn’t chaotic. It wasn’t “extra”. It wasn’t too crowded. The service was great. The drinks were delicious. It didn’t feel like you were in the middle of Times Square, nor were the staff pretentious like many NY lounges. It just felt like you were at a “chill” lounge with good music. Be sure to make reservations so that you have guaranteed seating. It’s easy to make them on Open Table.

    Was here for a private party, so my comments will be focused on the location and the drinks. The food is mediocre, but perhaps that was because it got cold too quickly. But the appetizers were coming out hot and were quite tasty. The DJ was fun, and the drinks are great. The bartenders are attentive and make spectacular drinks! Overall, I like the location because it is quite central in midtown and it is quite roomy.

    Weekend trip to NY. My wife and I stopped in and enjoyed ourselves. You must reserve a couch or other plush seating area ahead of time otherwise high top tables and bar space is available. Great atmosphere. Others posted about pricey drinks but you are in NY, most things are pricey, especially if it’s a nice and popular place. Service was fantastic!!! Sam was the best and because of her attentiveness and friendliness we stay WAY longer than we initially planned. Highly recommend stopping in at least for 1 drink to check it out, but you may end up staying longer...

    Me and my friends decided to go down there for drinks after dinner though we had a hard time finding it at first because its on the side of the big glass building. But we found it! It was nice that there was no cover charge to get in, the spot was nice a place where you and your friends can chill and relax on the couch. We loved the atmosphere and the music the DJ was playing was great! (some hip hop and reggae) The only thing is the prices for the drinks was sky high but they were good drinks! So if you go make sure you save some money if you planning on getting drinks there, but we would definitely go there again!

    Whoever the Dj was Friday the 12th was not it. I’ve had many other great experiences here with friends but it really depends on the dj.The decor looks divine, yes there’s coat check as well. If they had hookah that would make this place amazing .

    I came to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I was in contact with the general manager Anthony, to plan and organize this event. He was so Patient, kind and understand the whole entire time. We will definitely be coming back because of his wonderful customer service. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend this lounge .

    This place is a vibe! Low lighting, great seating, really good music/dj. The hors doeuvres were a drop too pricey and limited to choose from, but Id definitely return. My wife unfortunately thought it was a restaurant so we didnt spend as much time here as wed liked as we were very hungry..

    First impressions of this place were very good. I stumbled across it actually looking for a different place, but we decided to go in and give it a shot. It looked like a very classy place for a Friday night, and I wasnt disappointed.There is no cover charge at the door and there is also complimentary coat check. In my mind, that offsets the expected outrageously expensive Manhattan drink prices.The average age of the crowd here is probably somewhere between 28-35.On the whole, I would recommend this place!

    I love the this place. It’s so beautiful, it’s low lit but stunning providing the perfect mood.They require proof of vaccination and mask coming in. You can dine with out it.They only provide drinks & appetizers. But still a good selection to pair w/ drinks.Our waiter was happy, gave amazing drink reservations and was attentive.     Lovely lounge. Really great mixed drinks. Very solicitous hostess, wait staff and bartender when we visited.It was CRAZY loud when we visited because there were two loud private events in a place that needs tremendous sound dampening. I could only stand to stay for one drink.

    This spot is honestly a hidden gem in the city. During the day it is a very upscale lounge with amazing food and a very relaxed environment but at night it becomes a hidden gem of a party scene.     I would definitely return. The crowd was very business savvy, the drinks were strong and the service was very accommodating. The food was good I enjoyed the pizza and the DJ kept us dancing. It is a very good vibe and cozy.

    The location is near times square, so very convenient to get to by train. If you drive, there is usually parking by Radio City.The place is not cheap, but service is great. They now have a food menu and you can order some small plates to nibble on as you chill out.The dance floor is not big, but thats ok, this is meant to be a lounge, not a full blown nightclub.

    My girl and I went here twice since it was that good the last time. Same experience this recent trip to the 48 Lounge. We were greeted when we came in, decided to hit the bar and had several of the best drinks we got in Midtown!The dj played great music, catered to all genres( throwbacks, edm, 90s, top40, reggaeton, Latin music). Highly recommended if you want to go to an upscale and chill lounge!

    Always delicious pastries and great coffee or teas. This is my daily venture since I work in the building. The manager and staff are always polite and helpful. Always busy here so plan ahead.

    The perfect place for a hot date or birthday party! I went to 48lounge yesterday and the place was so gorgeous! We tried so many different drinks and they were all super good but my favorite had to be the Jamaican Ting! We also tried the mac & cheese bites and they were sooooo yummy. Loved this place & will be back soon~Theyre starting a new bottomless brunch too with fresh mimosas and bellinis! Cant wait to go back

    48 Lounge has been a long running establishment in the midtown area, but still provides excellent service and atmosphere for those looking for a modern NYC Lounge.I booked a large group gathering for welcoming guests coming from out of town for my wedding, and it was super easy to work with the manager, hosts and waitstaff to get everything we needed to make our party a fun success.The light bites were perfect for us to have served while everyone was able to order drinks of their choosing. Everything worked out great and I highly recommend this venue for large gatherings.

    I hosted a big party there. They were excellent. They are Incredibly professional and the staff was attentive and great. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this place for drinks and food for a night out or to host an event. They have a VIP room which is off the main part of the lounge.

    Such a great lounge, music is awesome! They serve appetizers only, all are amazing and good size for what you pay! Wasn’t overly packed but I had an amazing time! Surprised it wasn’t busier because of how awesome it was! A little pricey but you get what you pay for!

    Great place to go if you have money to spend, they only serve appetizers which are so delicious. The place is beautifully decorated! The dj is okay and the bartenders were super nice. The security guard is absolutely terrible though. He was on the phone blocking the exit because he wasn’t paying attention, upon entry he didn’t even greet me, he just stared at me for an uncomfortable 15 seconds so naturally I assumed then he wasn’t going to ask me for anything so when I proceeded to walk pass he THEN he decided to stop me and ask for ID (WEIRD).

    Food is amazing and the staff is gorgeous and friendly! The music is great and the space is elegant yet energetic. Cant rave enough about this place! And a big shout out to Ray the GM who knows how to make you feel like you are the King of your party! Will definitely go back again and again!!

    Upscale, trendy and popilar. Reservations are suggested if youre going to eat. Although the hostess wasnt the most pleasant or customer service oriented, the manager made up for it. The food is wonderful. The DJ played great music, just cant mix to save his life. But overall, we had a blast.

    Good place for corporate happy hours, which is also the reasoning for the 4 stars. Mostly corporate groups so the vibe inside is largely dependent on who happens to be there and what theyre celebrating.The staff was great. Slow service at times, but was part of a large group, so wont hold it against them.

    I planned and reserved a table for my girlfriend’s birthday and this place did NOT disappoint. The value was incredible, the music’s great (top 40), service was beyond helpful, and it all made her birthday that much more sweet. Highly recommend.

    Excellent spot to party at or pre-game your night. Waitresses and bartenders are on point. Atmosphere is a lounge feel with a solid mix of music. Table service is offered. Dress is casual chic and a good mix of people. A definite spot to stop through.

    I had the absolute best time at 48 lounge this past weekend. I was celebrating my 27th birthday and this place exceeded my expectations. I was looking for an upscale location with great music and a great crowd...and that’s exactly what I got. The staff was PHENOMENAL and I had the best waitress, Janae that catered to my growing party as the night continued on. The ambiance is amazing. Perfect spot for birthdays and date nights as well! Can’t wait to make my way over there again!

    4 1/2!!! Great Friday night spot. Not too crowded for this lounge. And yes, it really is a lounge in every sense of the word. Nice ambiance, women in nice dresses, the guys represented too. Ratio of women to men was probably 3:1 but only because the women came in large large groups. The lounge is not very large and the drinks are over-priced big time. The DJ is pro-new york artists. And when he played an artist outside of new york, it was something old. Not old skewl but maybe top 40 from 2005 or so. Probably the same music list he started with when he first started djing. If in New York again, I would go back

    Nice place for happy hour ! Good music , I got the red sangria which had me very lit lol . The only bad thing is , I noticed that they dont scrub the glasses . They just dip them in soap water and rinse them off shich is sooo unsanitary . There are no sponges in sight ! I would advise you to ask for plastic .

    First of all I was skeptical because I didnt know what kind of music they were going to play. I knew the place was nice from the positive reviews. this place exceeded my expectations. I celebrated my 30TH Birthday here on Saturday jan 12 2019. The decor is pretty couches and chairs were comfy and the food was amazing. The miso lobster rolls were my absolute favortie dish. i also had the spinach dip, empanadas, mac and cheese, and the chicken and spinach panini( i know i wanted to try everything) lol. the staff were very friendly and attentive. very welcoming also. and last but not least the DJ was AMAZING . i dont even know his name but he was great he really played a variety of music in every genre. my friends and I were very pleased. only negative thing i have to say about the place is that the cocktails are very expensive. id suggest bottle service if youre doing a large group. other than that the staff was wonder, food was good the bathroom was clean and it was very pretty decor i will definitely attend again and i had a blast here for my birthday!! thank you! oh and how could i forget SAMANTHA who helped me make the reservation i must have spoken to here over 10 times. she was very patient with me .
