    This is the little bar you want in your neighborhood! My first time there, went to see drag bingo. We ll!! Friendly, amazing quality of entertainment (opera trained drag beauty belting show tunes, dancing. Finishing the night eith a complete death drop ti the floor!) Clean, pool table, accessible staff. LGBTQ friendly.

    Albatross is a fantastic Queer space that offers a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere. One of the main highlights of this bar is the fantastic drag shows that take place regularly. The performers are incredibly talented and always put on a great show, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.Moreover, the bartenders, including one of my absolute favorites, Gierre, are fantastic. They are friendly, attentive, and know how to mix a great drink. They always go above and beyond to make sure that customers are happy and having a good time. Their professionalism and expertise are truly impressive.Overall, Albatross is a great place to hang out with friends, enjoy some fantastic drinks, and be entertained by talented performers. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is fantastic, making it a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a fun night out.

    Gierre is amazing!!! Literally one of the best spots to get a GOOD BOGO happy hour in Astoria! Have events most nights that range from drag shows to paint and sip to karaoke- definitely a neighborhood staple!

    A fantastic place to meet people and have a good time. Wednesdays are always lots of fun with Gayme Night, hosted by Avant Garbage. Fabrizio is behind the bar and does a friendly, fabulous job! Shows and games happen almost every night. Youre gonna love it!

    Scar, there’s no food!But actually the staff here is amazing. I come by often on Wednesday nights which is “Gayme” night hosted by the incomparableAvant Garbage and bartended by talented and attentive Fabrizio. They’ve really fostered such a welcoming community and safe place for queer people and the people who love us with Jack box games, Jenga, Mario kart/smash bros, werewolf, and the occasional twisterAlso Sundays hosted Sherri Poppins bartended by Shane are a delight and a great send off to a stressful weekend to other hospitality industry peopleHighly recommend.

    Had a fantastic time here. Pedro really took care of every detail and made me and my friends feel comfortable and entertained. The drinks were amazing, place is clean and they really take precautions to clean everything well. The atmosphere was not pretentious at all but super fun! Will definitely recommended if you into having a good time.

    Came here last night for the first time and absolutely loved the vibes! i live in brooklyn and my two best friends live in astoria, and i suggested we check out albatross together. so glad that we did!skip was such a friendly bartender, and i just really loved the overall vibes of the guys that were hanging out here. so unpretentious, very chill and laidback, and genuine! unlike other gayborhoods in the city *cough* HELLS KITCHEN *cough*cant wait to come back the next time around :)

    Let me first say I had a really good time....I called around 5:15 PM because i wasnt really sure about the dress code.i wanted to know if I could wear short and sneakers and I was told no. When I got there mostly everyone had shorts, t-shirts and hats, needless to say I was upset. I asked the bartender, who answers the phone he said me depending on the timebut he said he wasnt sure and the owner wouldnt be in today.....I really had an awesome time but whoever answers the phone should have knowledge of the rules and restrictions of the establishment. Although I was upset at first I just want to guys to know that I had a blast and the entertainers were awesome . I recommend everyone to come thru.

    No need to trek into the city when theres a great, friendly, amazing bar right in the neighborhood! The staff is awesome, they have events every day, and the drinks come in pint glasses (not shot glasses like most NYC bars).

    This place really is The Queer Cheers of Astoria. Its a fun, safe space where youll always feel welcome. They host tons of events and games if youre looking for something to do, or meet-ups and Happy Hours for relaxing and conversation. Im a big karaoke fan, so Fridays are my favorite night. I even decided to celebrate my birthday there this weekend. Hassan (@hassanintheworld) is the karaoke host Queen and she is absolutely amazing - so entertaining and talented too! Filup and Alexander are the new Friday team behing the bar and THEY. ARE. FABULOUS!! Theyre welcoming & friendly, and they keep the drinks flowing. Albatross is a great neighborhood bar with some of the best drag performers youll find anywhere.

    This place is the best. They got new owners a over a year ago and Ive really noticed a huge difference. Cheap and strong drinks, nice bartenders and loads of entertainment every night! My favorite is the karaoke on Friday night. It gets a really big crowd.

    Fabulous happy hour from 5-8pm everyday (BOGO on everything) and great karaoke nights with awesome singers (Wednesday and Friday). I love the cheap (but strong) drinks and the bartenders are not only sexy but genuinely friendly too! Drag shows on Saturdays are the best Ive seen outside of Manhattan; the great stage and lighting definitely helps.
