    I liked this place a lot—my friends and I had a fun time and really enjoyed the atmosphere which is very pleasant and laid-back. Drinks are a tiny bit on the pricey side, but they are high quality and the service was quite nice and the staff/bartenders were friendly and very welcoming.

    A great new venue and a safe space in Harlem for people of color. That is not to say that none people of color are not welcome quite the opposite. The drinks are a little expensive especially for being so far up, but the atmosphere makes up for that.

    The drinks and vibe of the bar is great and the bartenders are probably the better looking men Ive seen in some time. And then you do have the clientele...the extremely superficial I make more than 90K a year uppity new money working for someone else Harlem blacks gays who thinks everyone is beneath them. Often in their late hundreds, trying to side eye as much as they can, playing that Im think Im too gorgeous to be nice meanwhile looking like a clown and sad in the process. This is 140th St, please chill out. But that killed the vibe ultimately, so I dashed over to Harlem Nights where the crowd was less pretentious.

    Visited Alibi after a group we met at another bar recommended it. From the moment we walked in we were transported to a fun, chic, and good time.10/10 would come again!

    This spot is small but with a good crowd it is perfect. The drinks are pricey unless there is an event. The bartenders are highly attentive which makes it better.

    We ran over cause we thought it closed at 10 pm. False. They dont close till 4 am! What a wonderful environment. We heard about Alibi lounge from people at Stonewall Inn as a black gay owned business and wanted to support. Lets put some love on top! Alexi was our magical bartender. We found our neighborhood bar/hangout! How fun!

    I came here with a bunch of friends and we had a great time. The drinks were great. The bartenders were so friendly and nice. The music was on point too. I love the atmosphere with the mirrors and the stripper pole! Would love to visit again soon.

    From humans of New York about this bar.“The War In Chechnya was going on during the time I was in law school. I remember watching a news report where a young boy walked up to a journalist and asked for help waking up his grandfather. The grandfather had just been killed by a bomb. I decided then that I’d be a human rights lawyer. I went to work at the United Nations. I pictured myself drafting stronger human rights laws. I thought I’d meet with heads of state and convince them to form better laws and better institutions. And those meetings did happen. I did my research and made my presentations. You should have seen me— I was so passionate and confident and sure of my reasoning. The leaders would nod their heads, and say ‘thank you very much,’ but then nothing would change. Unless there was an economic benefit, nobody cared about protecting children, or empowering women, or stopping genocide. And it wore me down. My colleagues were worn down too. After ten years I had to quit. Last week I opened this bar. It’s not human rights, but at least now I can drink for free.”

    Love....love....love this cute and quaint little bar! The bartender (I believe his name was Edgar) was cute, sweet, attentive, and on point all night long! This was an after spot that a few friends of mine hit when celebrating a birthday and it didnt dissapoint! The location is in Harlem, soooooo that means parking is scarce! I hit this spot on a Sunday and Im not sure why but they wouldnt serve me my wine in a glass (even though glasses were on the shelf). It did bother me but after my third plastic cup....I had forgotten it, lol. For a lady who doesnt get out much, this is surely a place Id revisit! Im not a huge fan of hookah but I will indulge depending on who my company is....it was o point as far as I can recall!

    Good new spot. Drinks are a bit expensive, and they are only marginally better than average. They are getting way with it because of the lack bars in the area, more specifically, gay bars. Only one in Harlem.
