I am so happy a new cafe & bar opened up in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is excellent and the service was fabulous. I had and iced matcha latte with oat milk and my best friend had an iced latte with oat milk. Both drinks were strong and delicious. We ordered a cheese croissant and a chocolate one. Both were super fresh & soft on the inside. We chose to enjoy our coffee and tea in the outside seating area. The barista was lovely and attentive. I highly recommend this place both on atmosphere and quality of products. I encourage you to support this black owned business the next time you come to Harlem. -

This spot took over my long time fave Cantina restaurant, but Alke is a perfect new neighborhood spot for coffee or cocktails. The music, lighting & libations just right for a girls catch up session on a cold rainy Sunday. -

I love going to this cafe! I’ve gotten their coffee and teas. I love the hibiscus tea and ginger pineapple. You can ask for it mixed too! Amazing spot in Harlem. -

Such a great new place that just opened up! I had a regular iced latte and it was definitely strong. Comparably priced to every other coffee shop in NYC. I didnt try any of the pasties but they definitely looked good, and later on in their day they turn into a bar which Im also eager to try. Great place to do work, free wifi and several outlets to plug in. Great service, too. Definitely will be back. -

I love this place! It is such a gem for the area! Great energy, awesome event options including comedy, music, special events! I recently went to an incredible special tasting menu that had northern Nigerian specialities that was mind blowing! Monday night comedy is always fun with great drinks from a great bar staff and energy. Alke is also open for coffee which is always nice especially to grab on a walk to the park with the pup or to sit outside when weather allows -

This place is like an oasis in the madness of NYC, with an old town charm and the most friendly owner/bar tender! Shout out to Ginet!!!Great food, good vibes and serene atmosphere. Definitely recommend the Monday night comedy shows! -

The cocktails were just ok tasting to me. I didn’t really love the drinks but at least I know what not to get or recommend next time. Harlem Juju was my least favorite and the Soul Ties could have been better. They both had bitter tastes to them. But at least the samosas were good. -

I celebrated my 30th birthday with Alke this past weekend and I cannot stress enough what a phenomenal experience it was!!!! The vibes and music were great, the food was delicious (all of my guests loved it!), and the decorations were beautiful. I loved all of the small attentions to detail. They were also super accommodating from beginning to end. You must check them out. We will definitely be back! Happy New Year! -

Alke is a new space in Harlem thats got a lot going on. Serving up great drinks, food and atmosphere, this cozy, intimate cafe/bar is a must visit. With regular events from jazz to poetry and more, when Alke says theyre for the culture, they mean it. I even hear theyve got their first comedy night coming in November… -
