Nice dive bar to visit On the upper east side. Good amount of tvs to watch whichever game you’re trying to watch, couple of skeeball machines, and live music at night. For the area the beer is a few dollars cheaper as well! -

A very fun and down to earth place! Always a good time, always great pull players, always able to get safely Trashed! 😂 Come join the fun! Trust me you wont regret it! Oh, and the best pool players on the upper east, play here! -

Punk rock/motorcycle vibes. Personnel is super friendly and theyll become your friends if youre open to it. Had a great time! Ended up having shots with the waiter one day. Highly recommended for an unusual experience. -

This is yet another neighborhood dive that I like. Its just a simple bar with good people. Someones there a college crowd but generally just nice people. They have a very good beer selection and last time I had a duvel. They have some games too. Recommended for groups. -

This place was totally awesome!! Its got a great Cheers feel to it. The drinks are really reasonably priced and are poured so that they are well worth it. I really loved this place as well as the staff here. I will go here again when in NYC, heck Id pick a hotel based on its proximity to this place. Its just one of those places that you just like it there and want to be there -

This bar is a more sport related spot, but last friday in turned into a salsa place with a really nice dance floor in the back area. The beers and shots are very cheap and we had a lot of fun with my friends. -

My favorite bar tenders in new york. No food available but bringing your own is OK. Wednesday is an open mic blues night so grab your guitar and a slice and rock the night away. -

The hint is in the name, you go there to get trashed.. nice little dive bar, always pretty busy, anytime I end up there I end up getting way more lit than I planned for, but hey, there are worse problems to have.. lol -

Review 15 (2017-02-20 - Rating: 4)
Nice laid back bar to listen to some hard rock and down some beers. Its not what it used to be, but is still a cool place that attracts a late crowd. -

It was my first time in New York and my first bar here. I just loved it. The boss was welcoming and the ambiance so cool. There was an open mic with a lot of different people, and, at the bottom of the bar, a billiard competition. Exactly like i could imagine it or like we watch in movies.Perfect New York night! -

The best kind of dive bar. -
Review 47 (2017-05-31 - Rating: 5)
Stumbled into this bar on a random Saturday night, primarily because I heard they had Skeeball (they do!) Unfortunately a band was setting up to play so instead of playing, I decided to at least have a beer and see what the band was like. They (Girls on Top) ended up being an assortment of middle-aged woman, dressed like rockers, with a phenomenal drummer to back them up. They ended up playing classic rock hits from the 60s,70s, & 80s and they were incredible. I ended up hanging around for more beers just to sing and bop along at this dive bar that I had never heard of before. Even the fact that my bartender was hammered was not a downer on this great time! -
Review 48 (2018-11-13 - Rating: 5)
Cheap beer, sports, nice bartenders, and skee-ball. Its only a shame I hadnt come here sooner. Definitely a bit of a younger vibe, which may turn away some patrons. -
Review 49 (2018-10-06 - Rating: 4)
Best place for football Sunday! All the games, chill vibe, nice bartender and free food! They grill out hotdogs and have every condiment you could ever want. We used to go to Yardhouse - not anymore! -
Review 50 (2021-05-23 - Rating: 4)

Review 55 (2020-01-04 - Rating: 5)
Hole in the wall vibe. Great service, great decorations. -
Review 56 (2020-01-10 - Rating: 5)
Great dive bar in NYC. Bartenders are friendly and dont skimp when pouring drinks. Theres a pool table which gets pushed aside when live bands come in to play. They have skee ball too and a pacman arcade game which you dont see much these days. My one complaint is the juke box. It takes my money but never plays my songs! -
Review 57 (2017-03-12 - Rating: 4)
Classic UES bar. Has a pool table thats passably well kept. Acceptable drink selection that isnt too wildly overpriced. Friendly bar staff. -
Review 58 (2018-12-18 - Rating: 5)
The essence of the hole in the wall trashy American Bar I love this place -
Review 59 (2019-06-13 - Rating: 4)
I think this place closed down and reopened. From memory, this place was a little rough around the edges but always a good time. Basically a rock n roll/roadhouse type bar. Have seen a few fights in here and the clientele isnt exactly refined for the most part. You will get cheap drinks here and you will have a hangover the next day. -
Review 60 (2018-09-22 - Rating: 4)
Legendary Place. Recently changed their name, due to a local crybaby, to American. Should have kept it at Trash as it was always referred to like the regulars who hung there!!!Nuff Said.... -
Review 61 (2013-03-16 - Rating: 4)
Interesting rockn roll house, nice open mic on tuesdays and the best wings I ever tasted. the sauce is spicy and at the same times smooth. They are crispy and messy and go with a nice salad....Also Famous for their hot-dogs variaties . After the chef went on stage and presented a song, he walks back behind his counter and prepares food... -

Cool shop to get an “old American bar flair”. A typical old bar like you see in movies. It was particularly interesting for us to play skeeball there. You can also play billiards there very cheaply. The drinks there are also cheap and the TV shows various current games from various sports (basketball, baseball, ice hockey, etc.) -
Review 95 (2016-06-19 - Rating: 4)
Great place to get fit, I couldnt be happier.
