I really enjoyed this bar—the decor and atmosphere are spot on! We spent Christmas Eve here and ordered some happy hour beers along with nachos and chicken tenders. The nachos were huge and absolutely delicious, while the chicken tenders were a bit dry but still a good portion. I highly recommend the nachos! The staff was super friendly, and I just loved the overall vibe of this place. Definitely worth a visit! -

Prefacing this with my being a homebody and non-drinker, so not exactly the target audience for a bar.I stopped in since I had a free drink from donating blood, and decided to order some wings to go along with it. The wings were super crisp despite the barbecue sauce and were a very pleasant surprise (justifies the pricing a bit but still more than Id like). The cherish me drink was pretty good but also small, so value was hit or miss depending on your wallet. The bartender was nice and responsive, no complaints there. It was hard to sit down though, since there wasnt much open seating, but that would depend on the day.Overall, Id consider going back. -

A fun bar near NYU. I visited this bar last week with a friend and we both enjoyed ourselves. We had the bottomless mimosas (very good) while we waited for an event. Our bartenders were very friendly, and the atmosphere was lively as well. This seems like a great place to watch games as many sports shows we’re on while we were there. They have some good food options as well. Definitely a good time. -
Review 4 (2023-02-01 - Rating: 4)
A nice neighbourhood bar with good quality food and excellent service. There are two vibes in this place - downstairs is traditional, dark even and the haunt of local construction workers. Upstairs is more airy, bright and a more traditional sports bar theme. We went into to watch Man City (English Premier League) with the local New York City supporters club.An excellent visit, good food and beer and reasonably priced. I will definitely return. -

A myriad of great choices to eat for brunch. It is not a typical American Bar. It is a unique spot and the service is awesome!Jordan, a waiter, was efficient and friendly. He understands what customer service is. I definitely recommend it this place. -
Review 6 (2024-06-28 - Rating: 5)
Booked a semi-private space with them for our wedding rehearsal dinner and they had an awesome event offering, and their event team was one of the best I’ve worked with in the city! They were so attentive, and even reached out week of as there was a big game scheduled to be streamed there the same time as our event so they moved us downstairs to our own section so that our rehearsal dinner wouldn’t become too loud or mixed with the regular crowd coming to enjoy the bar. Would definitely book with them again for an event, as well as would go watch games there! Definitely recommend. -

A boisterous and friendly gastro-pub located in the heart of the west village. The pub is on two levels and can accommodate large groups while being inviting to a couple. Their kitchen offers a selection of tasty snack foods both hot and cold. A huge selection of craft beers are offered on draught and even more in bottles. Full bar offered too. Say hello to the General Manager, Tim who keeps the video screens lively and is on hand to welcome customers. Will return for brunch some weekend. -

Lovely place to drink a draft while you are watching NFL and other sports. -
Review 9 (2024-09-10 - Rating: 4)
Friendly and attentive bar staff with plenty of screens to watch the game -
Review 10 (2019-01-11 - Rating: 5)
Oh Amity, where art thou Amity? Apparently in the Village. This place has more TV screens than any other bar I have been to. Its great because you can hold a conversation with someone while stealing glances at whatever sport is on that night.Lots of space upstairs for seating at the bar and at tables. Was here for the Alabama v. Clemson championship and it was pretty quiet. Thats probably because people are kinda bored with those two teams. More relevant games are sure to pack this place.Food is solid. Service is solid. Location is solid. TVs are A+. -

Went there for the man city champions league and it was incredible vibes and very fun celebrations. Even with the crowds, I ordered a burger that I got in 5 minutes so amazing service and very nice waitresses. -

Review 14 (2018-03-07 - Rating: 5)
Amity Hall is now on my best list for delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and good prices. I enjoyed the poblano spiked turkey burger, a happy hour beer (12-7!) and conversation with the engaging bartender from Texas. Ill be back! -
Review 15 (2023-10-21 - Rating: 5)
The New York Blood Center has this place as one of their participating venues. After my project at Union Square, I decided to go here despite the rainy day that ensued. I had three vouchers from the center and lets just say that I made a good decision. Their food smelled awesome so I had a chicken little along with my entitled free drinks. I left the choices up to the bar since Im not very picky.Anyway, I had a fun time here and the staff were super chill. There was an event planned here so I was lucky to witness it. Dont know what it was but it looked like the customers were having a swell time. Even though its my first visit, I have more than enough Intel to conclude that this place deserves your time and your business. I would recommend and I say give it a chance to impress you. -

Review 17 (2021-10-28 - Rating: 5)
I went here yesterday to get a couple of drinks before the show at Webster Hall. Drinks are very good especially when they come with the happy hour price! Bartenders are very friendly and they mentioned that the food menu was recently updated so I decided to give it a try. We had a fig&cheese flat bread with fresh arugula on top. The texture and the flavor are amazing! Also ordered a crunchy tuna bowl- so fresh and yummy! This is not your typical bar food. I highly recommend this place and will be back for the bottomless brunch! -

My favorite NYC sports bar. I travel from midtown to the West Village to partake in their amazing burgers. Super service from Marie. Lots of screens to watch whatever team you cheer for. -
Review 20 (2022-12-02 - Rating: 4)
This is a nice two level bar, and really liked the downstairs area with comfy and clean booth seating. Great energy and pop music, very friendly and attentive staff (got asked several times while the bar was busy), nice for groups, has a menu for good looking food. Id come here again. -
Review 21 (2023-05-10 - Rating: 4)
Top class well run bar, with good food, excellent management and some ‘delightful’ ladies serving the drinks. One of the best bars I’ve been to, watching a Man City game in the USA. -
Review 22 (2022-11-17 - Rating: 5)
We were hosted by Sabrina, and then later Rachel at the bar this past Sunday, when we wanted to escape the cold, and catch a bit of Sunday night football. Both Sabrina and Rachel were fantastic hosts. Rachel guided us to find a red wine that Id love. I was amazed at her depth of information, and passion regarding wines. She really knew her wines!Overall, the staff, ambience and the friendly atmosphere of the establishment made this a highly memorable evening for me and my friend. I will only have the fondest memories of this time in NYC, especially at Amity Hall. Go sit at the bar, and ask for Rachel to guide you on a wine discovery journey. Youll cherish it. -
Review 23 (2023-07-11 - Rating: 5)
Great spot for lunch. Bartender was working the entire place in her own and did a great job. Good food, great beers, and friendly serve. What more could you ask for. -
Review 24 (2023-11-18 - Rating: 5)
What a place to visit for a Manchester City fan! The atmosphere was brilliant. They decorate the place really nicely for matches, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. I recommend having one of the towers of cider but be careful, they’re pretty strong! The boneless chicken wings were one of the most joyous things I’ve ever heard whilst watching football. -
Review 25 (2024-04-19 - Rating: 4)

Review 30 (2018-03-10 - Rating: 4)
Its spacious and laid back. Came here for an event, which was packed. The waitress was amazing. I dont know how she kept everything together, especially since we werent using the tables. I was pleasantly surprised when I got my bill. I was expecting the drinks to be a little pricier. -
Review 31 (2024-10-06 - Rating: 5)
As a Manchester City supporter I’m slightly biased as I went to watch a match and had great time with the other City fans. But I have also been when City weren’t playing and the friendly service and good choice of drinks makes it well worth a visit. -
Review 32 (2022-05-02 - Rating: 4)
Ive been to the uptown location a ton of times. This feels similar but just not quite as good. Food is still great, service was fine, though a bit inattentive. Its a great spot for an after work drink and a burger. -
Review 33 (2018-08-24 - Rating: 5)
The staff here is incredibly proactive to provide service. The food and beverages excellent. In addition to this the ambience is quite chill and fun to hang out with your friends. The also have a 2 hour weekend brunch which is $35 prix fixe. -
Review 34 (2018-12-16 - Rating: 5)
Stopped in for a quick drink on a Saturday night around 730 before a show at the Skirball. Doorman, hostess and bar staff were very attentive. Crowd was nice, as I was given a stool that was occupied but not being used by a human lol. Great music playing. Seems like a young crowd, but fun. Youre only as young as you feel right? 😉 I definitely plan to return. -
Review 35 (2014-11-22 - Rating: 5)
Great Bar, Great atmosphere and most of all the staff are amazing. While living in the city I had my own experience where Amity Hall became our local. After asking for a certain drink the bartender told us they didnt have it in but would get it in for us the following week. Sure enough, a week later, after just walking in we got the shout saying guys we got that drink in for you. -
Review 36 (2013-03-08 - Rating: 4)
There are so many options at this dual level bar which is great for private events or to grab a drink at happy hour. The upper floor of the bar as really high ceilings that even when the bar is packed make it feel spacious. Theres a good selection of beers and happy hour specials as well. Its always the destination after the New York Tech Meetup each month. -
Review 37 (2016-12-07 - Rating: 4)
Classic bar, w great and unexpected cocktail selections. Great beer, and pretty darn good bar food. I would almost all them a sports bar for the simple fact that they have multiple screens and typical have a futbol match on view. -
Review 38 (2019-02-27 - Rating: 5)
Not only a great sports bar, but also a great bar to just hangout. Very modern and cozy. The bartenders are on point; friendly, welcoming and informative. Tremendous beer selection, tasty bar food, and nice ambiance. -
Review 39 (2015-11-23 - Rating: 4)
Great to watch some football as they have many screens and theyll try to accommodate your requests. The atmosphere is not overly friendly and its a relatively large space but they have a good beer selection and an ok brunch to make up for that. -
Review 40 (2013-02-06 - Rating: 4)
This is one of my favorite bars in the city. Im here every Monday for a board game meetup where they actually open the upstairs just for us. The food is very good. If you want something small to munch on, I suggest the truffled Asiago fried. Their mac and cheese is also amazing (get it with the bacon!).Furthermore, the bartenders are absolutely lovely. One of them (Mike) has suggested some awesome drinks to me and is quite the doll. Now because of him, Ill always request crushed black pepper and cucumber in my Hendricks and tonic (the problem is many other divier bars wont have the pepper and I hate settling). I definitely recommend grabbing a drink or two here. -
Review 41 (2014-09-10 - Rating: 4)
I think the best part about coming to this place is their Tuesday deal of $1 cheeseburgers. No you did not read this wrong, $1 cheeseburgers.I know, I know you are probably thinking these are probably some White Castle imitation burgers, that is something youd probably regret eating the minute you finished stuffing it in your mouth. And I would have to break the news to you that, these burgers are PRETTY EFFING GOOD.Size wise they are slightly larger than McDonalds cheeseburgers and WAAAY better quality. I mean they come out with a long toothpick stuck into the burger on a wooden serving plate. Thats some presentation. The burgers were delish I mean well cooked, the seasoning was a bit light but with the additional things I put in it such as pickles, jalapenos which you have to pay 25 cents to 50 cents extra for, that still brings your burger to roughly around $1.50-$2.00 per burger. All of the other condiments you also have to pay extra for to your hearts content. Now if you are NOT here on a Tuesday, they do have some other things that might interest you.For example, sports night on the 2nd floor is where you want to be. 7 medium TVs and 1 Mega TV all playing different games/sports. Get live. Yeah. Communal wooden tables and high top tables + bar seats AND enough space in the center to dance or try to dance or just get piss off drunk.1st floor is smaller but intimate and they have live music playing on different days and on Tuesdays I believe they have the best talent, vocally. And they have TVs downstairs as well.Bathrooms are accessible enter by going downstairs from the 2nd floor using the BACK STAIRCASE or just simply being on the 1st floor and going straight to the back. There beers are $7-$8 a pop which is quite steep imo comparing to places where I can get the same beer for $4. During Happy Hour I believe they are priced at $5.I stand by the theory that burgers tastes better with a beer. Ive yet to be proven wrong.Good bar to stop by if you are in the area. -

Had the chicken sandwich for the lunch special, and it was a bit dry and not much flavor. The cheese curds were fantastic. -

One of the best Jukeboxes going in the Wash Sq./Village Area. Duplex Level Bar (which is cool) & a crowd which is a revolving merry go round of regulars, tourists and the surprise guests (like me with my NUU club that sectioned off part of the top floor with drink tickets given to us along with platters of food to share). The staff is solid & seem seasoned food-beverage professionals. These are Bar People, thanks Amity Hall! (A good time, a good drink and good food. - Evan -

We had an absolute blast celebrating a birthday here yesterday! The staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious (sweet potato fries especially). Their indoor set up was incredibly comfortable for those who were hesitant to be back inside. We felt like we had our own section of the bar while still being able to chat across the room with fellow patrons. It’s the first taste of normal we’ve had in some time. Amazing experience. -

Had a great time and the bartenders and wait staff were amazing! Only issue I had was with the arrogant DJ working last night, Saturday March 12, 2022. Asked him to play one song and he got all annoyed and basically told me to F off. The smallest amount of power really goes to some peoples heads so easily, you’re a glorified jukebox settle down guy. -

It’s a good spot. Sabrina the bartender and Ro the manager are so hospitable. Highly recommend it -

Hosted a private event here for masters graduation. Super amazing staff and service. They made sure to serve vegetarian food like we asked and let us decorate. Open bar and food platters were amazing as well. Awesome space! -

I love coming here because the service is great and they have a large bar area upstairs that can fit many people without feeling extremely crowded -

Its a college / university bar. Drinks, food and service are good, but it can get unruly. Thursdays it will be packed with NYU students- do with this information what you will. -

The perfect spot if you want to have a big party with friends. The upper level has long tables that can easily accommodate a large group. I love the huge selection of beers, and especially the draft Woodchuck cider. The atmosphere is a little like a pub, but the word hall is definitely more appropriate. The layout is reminiscent of a Viking mead hall (it was a real thing-- look it up!).The happy hour has $5 draft beers and basic mixed drinks, making Amity Hall a very reasonably priced bar for the location. -

Good after work spot. Can get crowded making drinking hard. -
Review 135 (2017-12-18 - Rating: 4)
Its a nice bar/pub. They do have bottomless brunch on Saturday and Sunday for a reasonable price of about $30 a head. Service was good and food was good too. There might only be an issue if you happen to be handicapped because there is a flight of stairs in order to get in the place at the front -
Review 136 (2015-11-20 - Rating: 5)
Super nice & they just redid their menu -
Review 137 (2018-01-31 - Rating: 4)
Average bar with an excellent game night on Mondays (worth an extra star). Food is pretty mediocre pub grub, theres a good size tap list but at least half is massmarket, it doesnt rotate much and isnt that interesting. Last time I was there, they did not have any dark beers at all. I come here for the games. -

Very friendly and helpful staff. Pretty good (but not great) draft list with good happy hour specials. Amazing burger! (I had the bulgogi burger, $16.) -

Sam (lovely and sweet bar tender) makes it a five star 4 star bar. Best pork tacos Ive had in NYC but being from CA I expect more from bar food. Trivia on Wednesdays is also great! ... plus the co owners take pride in their service and work. -

Great bar near NYU. Young crowd consisting of NYU grad students with a mix of some older adults as well. My favorite place to grab a beer and get some work done for class. Staff ( especially Angela!!) is incredibly friendly and makes the experience great. -
Review 142 (2017-01-19 - Rating: 4)
Cool bar. The upstairs is distinctly a sports bar. Downstairs has a more laid back pub feel. The food is decent and the staff is friendly. -

Im probably biased because Im in the middle of obtaining my Beer 202 club membership, but I never wouldve began the endeavor if I hated the place. Amity is a blessed two-floored respite from the madness of the Village. Foods good, beers are best, staff takes the time to know your name.I wasnt born here, but I hope I can get married, give birth and die in here.Cheers! x -

The bar offers decent drink selections (mixed drink is pretty reasonably priced), and the food arent bad either - their fries, mac and cheese, and fried pickles are all pretty good bar food. Ive seen promotions about Monday night dollar oysters, but I havent tried them myself. The two-story bar has a very lofty and spacious upper level, which is perfect for group events. On most Monday and Tuesday nights the upper level is used for Board Game nights. Grab a drink, have some fries, and play some board games - not a bad way to start a week! -

Love this little place. I typically go to watch my Grizzlies play. I hadnt been in a while so I went a few nights ago. Emilu was great. 15$ minimum on my tab. Never heard of that before but it was cool. Had a tab of $20.57 after a Jack & DIET + a Red Stripe. No biggie! I am a big fan of low-lit duck-offs so if you are looking to be hidden from the world of hustle and bustle, venture to this little undergrouo haven. -

Nice pub-style bar. The burgers are really good, as is most of the rest of the food. The beer selection is pretty good, although the craft beers are a little expensive. Theres pub trivia on Wednesday nights, which is a lot of fun. -
Review 160 (2017-04-20 - Rating: 4)
Went there for drinks. The jack and coke was pretty solid unlike how people confuse it to be too much coke and ice. The staff was very nice and attentive. -
Review 161 (2019-03-05 - Rating: 4)
Large spacious bar conveniently located near the West 4th subway stop. Bar is a great place to watch a sports game, especially upstairs, because they have at 10 large TVs and a massive projector. The staff is also incredibly sweet, attentive, and fast; they certainly aim to please! Just one black from McDougal street so its close to all of the hustle and bustle of the area but slightly removed which is nice. Havent been here at night but I imagine its probably a crowded college bar given its proximity to NYU. Havent ordered the food but it smells and looks amazing. They have a $30 boozy brunch special and themed nights every day of the week in case you are looking for a reason to go out. Bathrooms are also very clean given the size of the bar. Overall, would recommend to visit anytime during the day, it seems like it would be fun at all hours. -
