Delicious pub food at this midtown Irish pub. The place is spacious and has great friendly service. I had the angus burger and it was 💯 satisfying. I would totally come back here again to check out their happy hour. -
Review 2 (2023-06-01 - Rating: 5)
Great place for lunch or after work drinks. Food is excellent. I had a Cheddar Cheeseburger and the server took great care to ensure that it was cooked the way I wanted it. It was really delicious, and the fries that came with the burger were crunchy and tasty. One in our party had the Cobb Salad which was also plentiful and tasty. Service was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. -
Review 3 (2022-03-24 - Rating: 4)
Pretty good food and had a nice vibe. Definitely recommend the spinach and feta dip. The fried calamari was also super delicious. Their cocktails are fantastic. Menu has a lot of variety and all the ones we tried were very tasty. Service was ok! Got ignored a few times by the waitress so could’ve been better in that aspect. Would not mind stopping by again regardless. Now for my standard COVID comments as of March 2022. Gets a little crowded especially during happy hour times. Still did not feel too suffocating thankfully. Was comfortable enough to sit and eat indoors. -
Review 4 (2023-02-04 - Rating: 4)
It was empty in here when we arrived, but that probably had to do with it being the coldest day of the year. The place was warm and cozy, the waiter was a bit aloof though; but that was fine, he was actually very nice.Had the steak sandwich with fries; the sandwich was really good and the fries were hot and crispy. I would definitely come back here to try their other menu items. -
Review 5 (2022-03-28 - Rating: 5)
I stopped by today for the first time with some friends and I really enjoyed my experience here. Service was really good and the food was great. They have one of the best French Onion Soups I have ever had in the City. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and the establishment is clean. I will sure be back again the next time I am in the area. -
Review 6 (2023-08-06 - Rating: 4)
Nice somewhat chill place for after work dinner/drinks. They don’t rush you to leave here. There is Guinness and chicken pot pie. It’s close enough to grand central station. There are two floors but when we went here only the first floor was open. -
Review 7 (2024-10-12 - Rating: 4)
A pub with a more upbeat and classy appearance, Annie Moores is a bit higher on the price tag than some of the other pubs in the area. The menu is similar to several other establishments, but the decor is a little less old-timey and wooden. You have a somewhat glitzy feeling experience at the bar, and the bartender was an excellent and mindful gentleman.I had the steak with mash. It was a good portion for the price and I left full. The cook was as I ordered and the potatoes were decently fluffy without being gummy or too dense. Overall, it was a very rich dish as one would expect. -
Review 8 (2024-11-22 - Rating: 4)
Good atmosphere for lunch with conversation. Service was good.Food was well prepared, good portions and reasonably priced. -
Review 9 (2022-12-12 - Rating: 4)
This place was kool to have our Christmas party at. They have really good sliders and finger foods! I personally liked the crab cake sliders. -
Review 10 (2022-12-01 - Rating: 5)
Great atmosphere for lunch or after work drinks. Had their scallop and angel hair pasta special and it was phenomenal! -
Review 11 (2024-02-16 - Rating: 4)
Good solid pub in the shadow of Grand Central. I loved the original location - spent way too much time there - so I am very happy they have reopened in beautiful new space. I do miss the MetroNorth screens in the bar! Solid pint of Guinness and solid pub food - what more do you want? -
Review 12 (2020-02-16 - Rating: 5)
I would recommend this place if you want to experience a great service and a wide variety of drinks. Also, the bartender Joe is the best! -
Review 13 (2018-12-16 - Rating: 5)
Weve been here twice both times weve been to NYC and experienced a friendly staff and great food every time! -
Review 14 (2017-10-06 - Rating: 5)
Nice place to eat, we came during happy hour. Food was excellent and service was good as well. If the weather is good, check out the outdoor deck. -
Review 15 (2024-03-18 - Rating: 4)
Very nice food but quite a pricey place. -
Review 16 (2023-05-16 - Rating: 5)
My bartender was Jimmy and he was fantastic. Drinks was on point. The atmosphere was very good. Nice place to go after work with Friends or family. -
Review 17 (2024-09-20 - Rating: 5)
The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. I had a cheeseburger while I was listening to Pink Floyd in my headphones and that whole experience was euphoric. The fries were some of the best fries I’ve ever had. The honey mustard is very very good as well. I’ve been there 3 times. The first was right before seeing tool in concert, the second was right before seeing Pearl Jam in concert, and the third was right before seeing linkin park in concert. Music really does make food taste better. Probably the second or third best French fries I’ve ever tasted. -
Review 18 (2024-06-09 - Rating: 5)
Had the chance to go upstairs on a Thursday after work and there was plenty of room to be at the bar and staff was very attentive. -
Review 19 (2024-09-14 - Rating: 4)
Good food. Great for lunch or after work. -
Review 20 (2023-03-09 - Rating: 4)
We went to Annie Moores as it was very convenient to Grand Central station. We were meeting friends using the Long Island Railroad for the first time.We use to go to Annie Moores when they were in their old location right across the street from Grand Central. I have to say the food was the same but the bar didnt have that feeling of old fashioned pubs in Ireland. The wait staff was great. He gave us our space but would check in with us to see if we needed anything.I would go back again but not high on my list of returns. -
Review 21 (2021-08-07 - Rating: 5)

Review 22 (2024-02-24 - Rating: 5)

Review 23 (2019-05-19 - Rating: 4)
Charming indeed. The Shrimp and Linguini with asparagus was... Yes, yes yes!The service was really done with the dearest charm. This place is visible from the street. Yes I would dine here again. -
Review 24 (2022-03-15 - Rating: 5)
Amazing service! They literally go above and beyond. We left a bag there by mistake after enjoying a couple of drinks before our travels home and Bessa totally took care of it. She was nice, responsive and worked with us to get our bag delivered safely to CT. Will definitely be back the next time we are in the city. -
Review 25 (2024-08-29 - Rating: 5)
Paul is a great asset, he provides amazing service -
Review 26 (2023-11-24 - Rating: 5)
Great Chipotle chicken sandwich, a must try when in the area. Awesome service and not to busy considering its lunch time on black Friday. -
Review 27 (2024-09-09 - Rating: 5)
Great food with a large drink selection. Been going here for years and the place has always been excellent. -
Review 28 (2019-01-30 - Rating: 5)
The best barley soup specially to fight the Vortex, a piece of bread will be welcome but sorry itsn’t include! -
Review 29 (2017-03-21 - Rating: 5)
They have a mean pour. I had a very generous shot of Tres Generations tequila. First this is the best tequila I have had in a very long time. As I was nursing my drink I decided to get something to Nosh on. My husband and I shared the bar mac and cheese and it was scrumptious. The gentleman next to us got a steak dinner that smelled and looked wonderful. I got a chocolate cake to go that was also very good. When we are back in town we will go in for dinner. Much better than any of the chain places that you could go to; good food, good service, friendly atmosphere, clean, cant ask for anything more. -
Review 30 (2018-03-15 - Rating: 5)
Delicious cocktails, the crispy chicken wings were excellent as well. Nearby to Grand Central Terminal, recommend stopping by when you first get into the city. The hostess was nice enough to hold and keep an eye on my two suit cases and backpack while I sat at the bar. -
Review 31 (2018-10-18 - Rating: 4)
Good place to hangout and have a conversation. Have been here twice now on Thursday evenings with colleagues. It can get a little crowded though. Has a good atmosphere and feeling to the place. Good selection of beers and the food is decent too. Would visit again. -
Review 32 (2019-08-09 - Rating: 4)
Nice bar to go after the work. The people is all from Manhattan. The prices are okay and no so expensive. It has a tables in a internal garden. -
Review 33 (2024-04-06 - Rating: 5)
Fabulous bar! Great food…calamari is amazing! Staff very friendly! -
Review 34 (2017-03-01 - Rating: 4)
Quick pint, but service was friendly and sharp. Pint was well poured, though my goodness, $8.50 for a 16 oz. Guinness is stiff. Clean and bustling. Good beer selection, if a bit limited, decent spirits choices too. -
Review 35 (2023-09-28 - Rating: 4)
My brother and I stepped in for a quick beer on tap and nothing more. Nice vibe going on. The bartender had a good sense of humor. -
Review 36 (2023-07-20 - Rating: 4)
Really good Caesar salad! $28 including shrimp. Bit pricy but I was craving a good Caesar so it was worth it. -
Review 37 (2023-02-24 - Rating: 4)
Good food at reasonable price. Crowded at happy hour but not overrun with people. Nice mix of young and older crowd. -
Review 38 (2017-11-21 - Rating: 5)
What stands out most about this bar is its food. While your drinks are your standard fare, especially for midtown, the food is fantastic. The bartenders all seem to have Irish accents, which adds an additional level of warmth and charm to the bar. -
Review 39 (2017-09-21 - Rating: 5)
Lobster Puffs and the Duck & Date Meatballs were out of this world. Elevated Irish fare with friendly service. Only critique is that, while the bar is cozy enough, the back area may be a bit too brightly lit and sterile feeling. -
Review 40 (2023-11-15 - Rating: 4)
Great atmosphere, great service. Bartender was amazing and friendly. Shepards pie was the worst I have ever had. It was like a sloppy Joe with some agressive herbs with mashed potatoes on top. Food orders around us looked good, so Id just avoid the shepherds pie. -
Review 41 (2018-05-21 - Rating: 5)
The Fish and Chips are to die for. Perfectly cooked and seasoned... and the in house tarter sauce is delicious. Others in my party had burgers, mac & cheese, and other items... no one left disappointed or less than stuffed. -
Review 42 (2024-10-23 - Rating: 5)
Manager rocks on top of everything. Sorry for the servers though 😬... -
Review 43 (2022-11-16 - Rating: 5)

Review 44 (2018-07-10 - Rating: 4)
Fun Irish bar to take a break from shopping. Chill vibe. Excited World Cup fans glued to TV. Good beet, walnut, arugula salad. Nice beer selection. And full bar! -
Review 45 (2023-01-16 - Rating: 4)
Excellent burgers. If you order one of the salads, I recommend asking to get the dressing on the side (else itll be drowning in it)! -
Review 46 (2019-07-22 - Rating: 5)
Hosted a corporate event for 50 people and the Annie Moores staff was incredibly friendly and great to work with. Really appreciate all the help from their manager (Brian) and will definitely be back for more large parties and group functions. -
Review 47 (2019-05-13 - Rating: 4)
For mid Town, this is a great and spacious bar. Large beer selection - still mid Town though, so plenty of work groups consisting accountants etc. Bar staff is friendly and helpful -

Ate lunch on my trip to the city. Typical Irish bar w/good food. What made it a five star is the service. Cordial, welcoming and efficient. Had a great fish sandwich and fries and a decent pour on the whiskey (bit pricey tho on the drink--but I wouldnt turn it down!!!). Place warmed me up on a cold day. -

I came here for dinner during a work trip and I’m glad I did. They had a bar menu which featured appetizer type items as well as a regular menu with a lot of good options. I got a Guinness and the shepherd’s pie which was delicious. The food was ready very quickly which was nice. The bartender was awesome! He was very friendly and helpful. This place seems like it’d be a really fun place for post work drinks as quite a lot of business people were flowing in. I highly recommend it! -

Food was excellent! Prices were reasonable. Bathrooms were probably the cleanest Ive ever seen in New York city. The only thing I would say that couldve been a small negative was that we would have liked to see a few more menu items. But we had a party of 6, we all managed to find an acceptable menu item and we were all thoroughly impressed with the food. -

The wine was great, and their hot wings are awesome. Just a little pricey for me, however its understandable because of its location. Just down the block from the NY Library and close to Grand Central Terminal. Great spot to grab a few drinks after work. They have a nice outdoor space on the 2nd floor. I would still come back again. -

Came here for lunch. Portions were big and everything was fresh. I ordered a Cobb salad ($19). The salad was a bit drenched in dressing, but overall, pretty good. Plenty of chicken, plenty of blue cheese and avocados. They have plenty of seating for lunch (upstairs and downstairs). Would recommend if having group lunch outing or just in the area and hankering for some delicious lunch. -

Review 141 (2016-05-11 - Rating: 5)
Stopped here for a quick lunch and discovered a great bar and restaurant. I was seated quickly and the service was super fast and attentive. I had fish and chips and it was just excellent, and for a very reasonable price, as well as all the other offerings on the menu which sounded really good, including some Irish classics. The bar looked very nice although I didnt have any drinks. Restrooms are very clean, as well as the whole place. -

Went for lunch. Made a reservation and got seated right away. The service was extremely fast and efficient. The server was around when we needed him, but he also wasnt in our face either. I ordered the French Dip while my cousin got one of the flat breads. Both of them were good portion sizes. The tables in the back dining area werent jammed next to each other, which Im happy about. Theres also plenty of bar space if you want to have lunch by yourself. -

Nice bar tucked away in midtown manhattan. This bar is on east 41st street at the corner of Madison Avenue. Its great for after work happy hours or on the weekends for hanging out with friends. The menu is good for a bar and the food tastes good too. Love the beer selection and the liquor selection. Nice decor with dark wood tones and nice muted lighting. Not too dark or dingy. Overall a good bar to hang out. -

Annie Moore is a nice pub restaurant with a good vibe. Guinness was great and food ok. Only reason for not 5 stars, drinks a bit pricey. Very enjoyable evening. -

Always a great experience here. My fav is the Fish and Chips and even after coming back from being closed due to the pandemic, the dish still is great! -

GREAT (read: cheap) happy hour spot near grand central - hose are hard to come by. Food is hit or miss - I loved my meal, my mom was t a huge fan of hers. But surprisingly the salmon plate is really good (fish isn’t he easiest dish to prepare). -

The Guinness was great. Two floors, laid back and no hassle. Chicken tenders and sliders were delicious. NY prices, but they deliver. -

Decent pub fare, good beer selection. Typical midtown prices. Service is acceptable but nothing special. Auto correct made that into social , which is also true. -

Solid midtown pub with better than average food at midtown prices. Definitely a good spot for a fast lunch if you are visiting from out of town or lunch with work colleagues. It can be a tad loud and the energy is contagious - - good happy vibe. -

For what is basically just another generic midtown pub, the food was surprisingly good and came out really fast. Service was on point as well, which is to be expected from Irish bartenders, they never disappoint. -
