    Today in Manhattan I was craving a great NYC Pizza, just a block from Bryant Park on W 41st I noticed AperiBar NYC in the lobby of LUMA Hotel Times Square and Im beyond happy I stopped in.Upon entering I smelled their fresh cuisine and especially fresh pizza being made inside. Then when learning this chic Italianesque Restaurant & Cocktail Bar is one of the many successful nationwide Restaurants owned by American Chef Charlie Palmer including the Famous Charlie Palmer Steak IV also in Times Square I had a feeling a delightful Pizza would be presented.I went with their Fennel Pork Sausage, Tomato, Onion and Fresh Mozzarella Pizza accomponied with a unique glass pourer filled with Mikes Hot Honey. I was recomended to drizzle some on the crust and Im happy I listened. Watch my great drizzle application! People who know Pizza should be able to see the amazing Crust and quality ingredients. Let me assure you the taste was heavenly.I also was very impressed with their custom specialty cocktails and had a I Need That Gin, Rosemary, Cucumber, Lime.I cannot wait to go back and enjoy their cuisine and was advised their fish is beyond fresh, imported from the Seas of Greece!AperiBar in Midtown/Times Square Manhattan has been Strongly Recommended by Johnny C The Pizza Guy! Katie was also amazing and being from NJ was an added plus! Also, if your taking the bus to or from Port Authority its an 8 minute walk on 41st.

    Saba was our server and she was superb! She was kind and attentive. We ordered 3 rounds of drinks - after our first round, we asked her to make adjustments. The drink was too sweet, too thick (syrupy), etc. and she did not disappoint. Got out drinks exactly right, so much that we ordered two more rounds. Will definitely come back. Also their happy hour is awesome, affordable bites and drinks. Saba even gave us treats to go. Loooove it! Come see Saba when you can, highly recommend!

    Ahmad our server was fantastic. Wonderful menu knowledge and offered great recommendations. His support staff didn’t miss a beat. Katie the Bartender poured a great Manhattan! Perfect portions. We were celebrating the engagement of our daughter, the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure it was a special night! One to remember!

    Cole was absolutely amazing during our visit. His knowledge of the menu, attention to detail, and warm personality made our experience unforgettable. He anticipated our needs perfectly and handled everything with such ease, even during a busy evening. The place was so busy with hotel guests coming in all directions and I am not sure how he was so calm. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s running the place soon.     Ever year my husband and I come into the city during the holidays. We made reservations at The Aperi Bar for lunch prior to heading to Bryant Park and Rockefeller center. We had the most amazing lunch and cocktails. We were most impressed with the service, professionalism and kindness of Katie, the manager. She made us feel so welcome and it was a pleasure talking to her. We will definitely come back to this place.

    AperiBar was highly recommended by Lamar, a bartender friend of ours at Charlie Palmer Steak in DC.We are certainly glad he did as we had two great experiences. We sat a the bar and had drinks on Saturday evening and went back for dinner on Sunday.The staff were very gracious, friendly and welcoming. Omar at the bar mixes some great drinks. Yanna and Katie took very good care of us and we really enjoyed our conversations.The Margarita pizza was delicious.We will definitely return in December during our next NYC visit.We highly recommend this excellent restaurant!

    After expending a very busy day on the very crowded and noisy Manhattan, I have in AperiBar a peaceful, sophisticated and lovely experience dinning. Thanks to the chef Vasiliki Vourliotaki for not only taking us into a delightful culinary experience but also into an intelectual one, I had learn about different taste and sensations of tuna depending not only on the receipt, but the cut, the type, the age and more. Also special thanks to our waitress Kenzie, who gave us a very pleasant time.

    Great experience! Saba was amazing. She suggested an appetizer and I loved it. I was traveling solo and she made me feel right at home. Saba seriously deserves a promotion! To top things off the pizza was wonderful. Great ambience with fast service. Highly recommended. I’ll be back!

    What a great place! Situated in the Luma Hotel in Times Square, it has a modern sophisticated look. It just recently began serving lunch so it wasnt that crowded (although it was a Wednesday) but I expect as word gets out it will so definitely make a reservation. The lunch menu was fairly limited but has enough of a variety for everyone. We started out with a paloma cocktail which was excellent. We had the funghi pizza as and appetizer which was delicious. The focaccia sandwiches are also excellent. Their focaccia is made right there. For dessert we had vanilla gelato with saffron honey which was outstanding. There is fixed price option which is a good deal although we didnt opt for it. The service was great - our server, Katie was fantastic and the rest of the staff were very friendly and attentive.

    My grandma and I were just walking by and noticed how pretty it looked in here and ended up having an amazing meal. I started with an aperispritz that was really refreshing, we shared the fungi pizza which paired really well with the tuscan kale salad and finished with the zafferano gelato (amazing!!). the whole meal was delicious and I would easily come back the next time I am in NY.

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at AperiBar, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere was inviting, the food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch.     This is one of the best staffed places I have been to in NYC. You could tell that everyone gets along well and they all made our christmas eve dinner feel festive and familial. The veggie lasagna with leeks, artichoke, and whipped ricotta was particularly special, and their soft serve gelato (with saffron and biscotti crumble) was a surprisingly light and smooth way to end the meal.

    Phenomenal dishes with perfect portions and unique flavor pairings made for an unforgettable dining experience. The seating was comfortable and uncrowded, and we were seated promptly without any wait. We enjoyed a charcuterie plate, margherita pizza, and the spaghetti limon, accompanied by some expertly crafted cocktails—all of which were absolutely mouthwatering.Our friendly waiter asked if we were headed to a show, and since we weren’t, the service followed a relaxed pace, allowing us to truly savor each menu item. Drinks arrived in a few minutes, appetizers shortly thereafter. Our deliciously hot and from scratch mains arrived after two hours. While the wait was long, the exceptional quality of the food made it worth it. It was a welcome change to slow down and enjoy the meal in a relaxing ambiance after a busy day in the hustle and bustle of the city. For those on a tighter schedule, the staff seemed very prepared to accommodate a quicker pace if needed. Overall, a delightful experience that encouraged us to unwind and indulge.

    My daughter and myself stayed a the luma hotel for a couple nights and ate at this restaurant both nights and the food is amazing! We got the charcuterie board, oysters, and 2 different pizzas and all the food was amazing. They import their flour from Italy and omg you can taste and feel the difference after you eat a pizza, you’re not stuffed and bloated, such a difference from American flour. I don’t normally eat carbs but I made an exception to try this pizza and I am so glad I did.We sat at their bar both night an and yan and Katie were so friendly and so attentive to us and made us feel right at home, just truly nice people😊. We also happen to meet the chef as she was leaving for the night and once again just a really nice person. This was our first time in NYC and I was not expecting this type of experience and we are already planning our next trip back.As a side note the Luma hotel where the restaurant is located is great! Once again staff was so friendly and helpful, my daughter is blind and they got us a 9:30am check in which helped out so much and was so appreciated. We had a room with 2 king beds which I have never seen before anywhere, clean,new looking, and so well lit!Thank you to everyone that made our stay enjoyable ❤️Grace & John

Try the Buccatini Limon - it was unlike anything I had before and was delicious. Kenzie was our server and she looked after us so well!     Great classy atmosphere and connection to the next door hotel. Had a couple of good beers and a gin & tonic. The food was amazing! A wide variety of food of which you have to interpret the Italian (?) on the menu to discover what it is. The octopus is fabulous, even for folks in our party who were skeptical. The pizza was delicious, and so was the breaded chicken cutlets. Plenty of food to go around for four people.

    Fantastic find! Im never shocked that I have been here for years and still find little gems like AperiBar. Charlie Palmer did a nice job with this small little gem. Very small menu, which I love because the bigger the menu, the more it tastes like assembly line food. No passion or soul in the giant size menus. The wine list was 3 times bigger than the food menu (no complaints there!). Pasta was perfectly al dente, delicious Chianti (and Im not a big Sangiovese fan), after dinner Martinis were perfect. Ill be back just to sit at the beautiful bar where they fresh cut their salumi and formaggio at the bar! Gelato was beautiful as well, and service topped all of this off. Only reason I did not rate it 5 stars for food is because what I had, the bolognese, was very good and enjoyable, but wasnt jaw dropping or spectacular. Beautiful bougainvillea plant around the doorway. Wonderful find in a fantastic location - walked through Bryant Park after and watched the chess games under s gorgeous summer nightfall. Looking forward to making this a regular spot!!

    I recently had the pleasure of visiting an exceptional bar in the heart of New York, and I must say the experience was absolutely delightful. The oysters were simply exquisite, unmatched in freshness and flavor.     Tbh, because this spot is in a hotel I didn’t know what to expect. But even from the street, you can see directly into the kitchen and the oven.For drinks, I had Charlie’s Negroni. Loved.The artichoke was so freaking good. Salty, delicious, and just a definite yes.The salad was fresh with the peach and super generous with the prosciutto on top.The octopus surprised me! It wasn’t as bright and citrusy as I thought it might be, based on what you might see at a lot of other restaurants. Instead, it had a super earthy, warm depth to the dish, especially with the olives that felt unique and special. And the octopus was cooked perfectly.The pizza was such a treat. The dough was super light and fluffy. And the mushrooms were decadent. I could’ve eaten the whole thing, but I decided to honor my commitment to *not* overeating.I also have to shout out the staff. Everyone was super attentive and friendly. Especially coming out of the pandemic where a lot of places are understaffed and/or overwhelmed, this felt like such a treat!If you want to be taken care of with a nice vibe, and also good music, this is def worth stopping in!

    I really enjoyed this restaurant! It was the perfect place to go after enjoying a matinee on Broadway. There’s a very hip bar scene in front and a nice quieter table top restaurant in the back. I ordered three appetizers and they were delicious. The staff was very friendly and though a little weighed down because of some big parties, they were attentive to my needs. I felt lucky to have found this little gem.

    This place is AMAZING! I came in after a long day with a group of friends and we really weren’t expecting anything special but boy were we surprised. Katie, Jan, and Saba made our experience so pleasant and fun. I usually don’t write reviews but the vibe this crew brought to our table really changed our entire night. The drinks were delicious and the food was really high end considering how fast it came to our table. It’s apparent that they really care. Love this place

    The whole staff team were amazing including the restaurant team (thanks Katie and Ahmed!). The beds were comfy, room extremely quiet and elevators super fast! We went back to the restaurant to eat 3 times because the food was so good. The concierge team were always friendly. We loved the coffee shop (Maman) right next door and my kids frequented the manga store nearby. Perfectly central location. Loved our stay!

    Highly recommend the arancini —the crab sets it apart. It comes with a mascarpone sauce and a little side salad too. All together, it’s a light and refreshing take on arancini.I also really like the kale and fennel salads here. Both are generously sized, with the kale leaning more towards savory and the fennel towards light. Kale is easy to chew, and the fennel isn’t soggy. We also got fingerling potatoes, calamari, the bruschetta, and the pizza estiva. Everything was salted the right amount, so each dish’s ingredients/flavors were clear. Nothing tasted muddy or confused.For dessert, we got the olive oil torta and the zafferano. Olive oil torta has lemon notes, and it was served with creme fraiche on the side. On its own, the torta is light. Add the creme fraiche and it’s a lot more complex, in flavor and texture. The zafferano is a fairly simple dessert —vanilla gelato with a honey swirl and topped with salt. We asked for the biscotti on the side, since I’m allergic to nuts. Regardless, it’s a perfect example of “less is more,” as all the flavors were distinct and went well together.Service was also great. Saba was attentive and very personable. She made sure to check in on us regularly, and whenever there were lulls, she would talk with us. We were there for a couple of hours, and we felt welcomed the entire time. Their house prosecco is good too.

    Oh my goodness the food and service were so far beyond what we ever expected. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were spot on. Our bartender (omar) and servers (katie/jan) were SO over the top in service - they graciously helped us move several times to get better seats throughout the happy hour rush and they took time to really talk to us about the food, to make recs, and to get to know us! We will 1000% be regulars here.

    Booked for a group of 15, we decided to bring our work team here to celebrate us being all together in NYC.I was positively surprised by the attentive and kind staff, the quality and variety of the food and, finally, the flavours: my favorite are the pizza Margherita, the pasta with burrata and the torta tenerina. As an Italian myself, I felt home.It was so good that we made boxes to take away the leftovers.We agreed on a specific menu beforehand, so once we arrived, the staff was ready to serve us with starters and drinks.Love the atmosphere and the view on the kitchen.I would return and I recommend this place to everyone.

    We were in town for Shane Gillis comedy show and wanted something within walking distance of the venue (Radio City) and we decided to dine at AperiBar. Such an awesome dining experience and also extremely affordable for being in Manhattan.     Popped in here based on their ratings alone. I was welcomed instantly and offered my choice of seating areas — I chose the bar because I was solo and not necessarily feeling a lounge moment. Being sober, I seeing AperiBar has a mocktail menu made me so excited! I had the Zesty Pineapple first (tasty) and then the Medicine Ball (divine!). For Antipasti I had Ricotta Lioni (whipped with lemon zest, black pepper, and roasted tomato) and for an entree I chose Rigatoni Bolognese (pork, sofrito, tomato, oregano, parmigiana). Both were delicious. Then for dessert I went all out with the vanilla gelato, saffron honey, sea salt, and mixed nut biscotto combo they call the Zafferano. Wow. So good. Highly recommend.

We were not disappointed - the food, amstophere, dining experience and service (special shout out to Nadja who looked after us) were first class. We ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and Spaghetti al Limone - both meals were delicious. We would definitely eat at Aperi Bar next time we visit NYC.

    Beautiful atmosphere, the drinks were great, and the staff especially surpassed expectations! Timothy in particular was nothing short of incredible. Would HIGHLY recommend this as a Friday night destination.

    Food was so goood, we were waiting about 15 mins to get it. Also happy hour from 4-6 was perfect because we got a lot of drinks for 20$. I would recommend this place to everybody who is visiting Manhattan. Appreciate this place, will come back 100%

    On a girls trip to NYC, stayed at Luma Hotel. Had a wonderful dinner! Half dozen oysters, salads and gelato! Our server Juliet was AMAZING!! Very helpful and knew the menu well.     Great happy hour deal from 4:30 -6:30 pm at the bar. Probably the cheapest option for oyster in New York City !! Our bartender John is awesome. 10/10 service here. Highly recommended for hanging out around time square
