    Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and attentive service. We took the shrimp scampi, figgy piggy, chicken sandwich and garlic shrimp everything tasted just right.We felt light and great after having so much food, everything had enough greens and portion size. You’ll feel welcomed and comfortable. Definitely recommend if you are around. They offered a shot on the house in the end.There’s plenty of money plants in the entrance super pretty and gives nice vibe. Overall fantastic dining experience.

    Im so glad I found this restaurant! I went during the first week of May (so this is a late review), but I came back to write this review because I still think about this restaurant to this day! I was visiting New York with my mom and we discovered Aura thanks to its great reviews, and we were not disappointed. The ambiance, service, and food were the best we’ve ever experienced in New York!I highly recommend Aura to both New Yorkers and visitors; it will definitely exceed your expectations! The owner was present and graciously offered my mom and me complimentary wine. He was incredibly kind, and we felt truly blessed to meet someone who loves his business and values his customers.The Truffle Mac and Cheese, Penne with Vodka Sauce, and Mushroom Alfredo were exceptional! I would rate this place 6/5 stars if I could. I will definitely return on my next trip to New York. The prices were very affordable for such high-quality food, and the waiter and bartender were also super friendly!*P.S. The pictures speak for themselves!!

    The best flavors of Mediterranean cuisine meet craft Mezcal cocktails in this 1st Avenue Oasis. Aura serves up a distinctive combination of Pan-American and Mediterranean inspired dishes with a gorgeous bar, and an atmosphere thats equal parts classy and comfortable. Jesse and Julio, the owners, are passionate about their menu, and the happy hour is easily one of the best in the entire city. Food and cocktail quality are off the charts for this relaxing gem.

    DO NOT MISS THIS SPOT:This was the most amazing gem of a bar we have stumbled upon. The staff was not only accommodating and welcoming, but they were SO hospitable.We got out of Batsu (local comedy show), and had a 7-top, the staff set up some vibes (music, vibes, drinks) and immediately arranged for us to feel comfortable. Andres, Adrian: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We felt so lucky to connect with you and we are grateful for the atmosphere you all set. Amazing drinks, service, prices. The best!!!

    100% will be returning! We stopped in for a quick drink and the service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender (shoutout to James!) was super knowledgeable and made phenomenal recommendations.     Love coming here for the happy hour deals for food, excellent food,service,and super friendly staff. My go to order is always the shrimp cocktail, shrimp bisque soup, and the Turkish meatballs. Highly recommended!!

    We came across Aura on a night out, and we are so happy that we decided to go in. We loved it so much, that we stayed till closing. The owner welcomed us with so much warmth, and hospitality.He was incredibly accommodating and got us seats by the beautiful, electric bar even though it was full. The bartenders were super sweet, fun, and everyone was so pleasant to be around. Overall it was a cozy, fun, charming little place.Drinks were amazing. Our friend tried the food and she loved it. We will definitely be back for more drinks, the food, and the aura ;)

    We recently had dinner at Aura again. It was even better than last time. They have an outdoor patio now. It’s small, but nice to sit outside in the spring.Since we were a group, we got a bunch of appetizers to share. So good, particularly the cauliflower and guacamole.Usually I don’t get cocktails, however the menu has so many tempting variations, so I got the Ginger Martini. It was incredible and hit the spot right on.Will be back there soon.

    I found this place on a random walk, and I was glad that I did. It is quaint, but the staff are amazing. Their happy hour sign caught my attention, and Primo the bartender did not disappoint. He is congenital and makes drinks based off your aura (no pun intended!)Then there was this friendly man, I think Jesse ( sorry boss) who spoke to me from the end of the bar. Come to find out it was as the owner. He was so warm and welcoming.I ordered the BBQ sliders which is a happy hour special that I recommend. Then primo treated me to an amazing concoction that he created as a house shot. If you find yourself near here go check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

    Sure! Heres a review for you:I recently visited Aura Bar & Kitchen and had an amazing experience! I enjoyed a delicious shrimp scampi pasta and perfectly crispy fried calamari.     On a rainy, cold Saturday evening I stumbled upon a quaint unassuming beautiful gem of a restaurant...The tapas was served in satisfying portions and they had the nerve to be scrumptious as well!! Besides the fact that there was a quite annoying woman, with a chalkboard scratching voice, telling the loudest most uninteresting stories to a dining stranger, the atmosphere was quite warm. My Bartender Frankie was attentive knowledgeable and thorough.I will definitely be back!

    Food is tasty and portion is not too small for a bar like this. The pasta texture tasted like homemade and I personally preferred the drunk gnocchi out of the 3 pasta we ordered that night. The owner and the staffs were friendly and they go around checking and making sure everyone is doing great and enjoying their food and drinks.Oh and the music is not too loud to have conversation. The place is not too big so probably its best to make a reservation for weekend.

    The Drunk Gnocchi was the best ive ever eaten by far, but overall the experience lacked. My boyfriend who ordered the truffle burger was given a burger with no cheese, no truffle aioli, and no sautéed mushrooms all of which were in the dishes description.     Stubbled across this spot randomly and it had an all day margarita sign for $10! Went in and right of the back the staff was very welcoming, kind and attentive. Really chill spot for drinks at the bar or just hanging with friends (not as hectic as the other popular spots around).Tried the food as well and I have to sad the Gnocchi was bomb! I’m a red sauce guy so really enjoyed the vodka sauce and portion of the dish. Margarita’s were also great, I would recommend the flavored ones. All made fresh, not pre-made which was nice.

    This place just became a new go to spot in the east village. It only recently opened but the owner Jessie is an experienced restauranteur in NYC and it shows.I ordered the tuna tartar app, which was delicious and a very good portion size, and the drink gnocchi, which came with what might be the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had.We also got to enjoy their great happy hour ($8 house wine and $10 cocktails) and the bartender Max made us these awesome lavender and gin drinks.Truly no complaints, the food, drinks, and service were all fantastic and I can’t wait to come back and try some of their other dishes.

    A friend, and I just experienced a fantastic culinary experience at Aura. All was wonderful from the first greeting from Ash to the kind attention to me, and my friend Kathy from the owner Jesse to the great nightcap at the bar with the perfect Manhattan from James. Meeting the chef at the bar was the cap on the night! The food was perfection, and I can’t wait to return as soon as I can. Manhattan is a big island, and it’s nice to find a place that treats you with such kindness as if you were family. Do not hesitate to enjoy this small town feel in the big city! Kudos to the entire staff!

    The food was top notch! The service was beyond and the cocktails were made with such care and sooo yummy! Highly recommend the “Luna,” cocktail. Happy hour was great!

    I live in the neighborhood and noticed this place opened. It looked very cute so I decided to walk in. It’s so good! The gnocchi was very tasty and the happy hour wine was a great addition to it (they gave us free chocolate wine at the end of our meal). I highly recommend coming here!

    Best. Service. Ever. Everyone was so kind and attentive and they even gave us a free appetizer and free chocolate wine!! New favorite spot with such amazing food, and also so reasonably priced, will definitely be coming back!

    Even though it was around 3pm, I was able to order the brunch menu. The brunch menu was delicious and the salad with Italian dressing was the best of all the food I had in New York. The employees were very friendly and polite!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!
