    Eileen slayed with all of the service. She deserves a raise. The food was well prepared, maybe slightly overpriced but still a good deal for bottomless brunch. Eileeen was attentive and great. I’d come back!

    I had a my birthday at Avoca and the owner Rory took great care of me. It was an awesome time and they let me bring my own cake which I served to my friends. We all fit confortably and the food and drinks were top notch. Also the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted. Dark and intimate with enough lighting to see everyone with great music as well! Would definitely have a party there again or at least go out to eat there. Thanks to the staff, owner and overall vibe!

    My group had a wonderful event here! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Rory did an excellent job coordinating the event and helping create the perfect vibe in their backyard space. Overall a great deal! Cant recommend this place enough.

    THE CUTEST PUP FRIENDLY PLACE!Pup has the mutt loaf and devoured itEvery server was so so nice!! Rory, Gio and both ladies were super helpful make sure my pup was cool on a hot summer day!! Provided a pad to lay and cold water!! Highly recommend! Drinks were great too!

    I celebrated my birthday at the back patio of Avoca and our server Giovanni made our celebration absolutely so special! We loved the bottomless drinks special (hello Gossiptinis!) and the entire staff was so welcoming and attentive. Not to mention the drinks and food were DELICIOUS!

    After a few visits, this quickly became one of my favorite spots for brunch and dinner. The special prices during the week are so worth it! And dinners are really good too (get the gossip girl bottomless dinner - it’s worth the price). The staff is also so incredibly friendly! Eileen was very thoughtful during a celebration with friends and Roy has always been very attentive too, especially with our dog. Highly recommend it!

    Beautiful outdoor patio and not only dog-friendly, but accommodating: they offered cushions, water bowls, and even menu items. Judy was very attentive and kind. Rory, the owner, also made sure we were enjoying our brunch more than once.

    Cool neighborhood spot for a happy hour or to hang out with friends. It’s chill, good drinks & service, especially Judy she’s so sweet. I really like their margaritas - strong and tasty! They also have various specials every day - taco Tue, Burger night, girls night to enjoy unlimited drinks 4-10pm which I have yet to try out.

    My wife and I just came from Avoca for brunch. All I can say what a great experience. The service was excellent, our server Audrey was great. We both had different egg dishes in which we both enjoyed. Their mixed drink and beer selection are great. To top it all off, Avoca is very dog friendly. We brought our small their and they treated him like a king. They provided a small bed for him to lay on, also they gave him a bowl of water. They also have a Dog menu that ranges from Sheppard Pie, Meat Loaf , biscuits and other things. They do have an outdoor space as well. My wife and I will be going there again. Their dinner menu is excellent as well.

    The food and drinks were phenomenal. Our server, Giovanni, gave us fantastic recommendations. I ended up getting the seared scallops that he recommended and its now one of my favorite dishes ever. Giovanni is also such a funny and charismatic person. Will definitely come back again.

    I recently visited this place for brunch based on the hype on Instagram and I must say the hype was not there. It wasnt bad nor was it good. A good boozy brunch each drink should be freshly made not from the tap. At times it took time for me to get my waiters attention, but he was super nice. The food was just okay. Would I revisit? No.

    Avoca was good but nothing blew me away.The food tasted fine and their menu has enough variety although it can leave you wanting a little more.My only complaint is that I ordered their Avoca “Smash” Burger only to receive a regular double patty burger with barely melted cheese. Had I’d known it wasn’t a smash burger I would have stated my cook temperature as the patties were a little too close to well done for my liking.The chicken fried mushrooms were a nice dish that I would recommend as a shared appetizer for a table.Not sure if I would venture back for dinner, maybe a brunch one weekend.

    We had my husbands 30th birthday party in the outdoor space- it was amazing! The food was great ( smash burgers were my favorite). Josh helped out before the event and was so attentive during the event, he was awesome! Everyone loved their drinks and couldnt stop raving about how nice the bar/space was. Highly recommend.

    Went for a brunch on a Saturday. Had a reservation but was running late, on calling them they assured that they will seat the guests who arrive before, i think that was very nice of them. Food options were quite good. I had the Ceaser Salad with grilled chicken, portion was good and food was tasty. I had the Fall Mimosa and Brunch Punch. Both the drinks were nice. All in all it was a good experience. Will definitely visit in summer.

    Avoca is a gem and makes for a perfect neighborhood spot on UES - its reasonably priced, well decorated, and the back patio is a lovely place to hang out. They also are very accommodating for large groups, which makes it a great option for birthday parties or other events. I have been a regular customer for 3 years and will continue to be one!

    We came for a fun night out and had the pleasure of dining in Judy‘s section. And it was quite frankly one of the best nights of my life. She cared for her guests like they were her family and gave us everything we needed. The food was divine and the service was out of this world. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s wanting a fun night with good service good people and a chill environment. I will be back every week. If you come you HAVE TO request Judy’s section

    Avoca is a great spot on the UES that opened a few years ago and has become a “go to”. The staff is great. Back patio is dog friendly and there are dog food items on the menu. Rory is the owner and he is always around saying hello to his guests. Food is consistently great. Shouldn’t tell y’all or there won’t be room for me!

    Amazing place for a large group event (30 people) Josh and Rory were so helpful in planning. We originally reserved the back patio which was beautiful-but when it started raining we were promptly brought inside to a private area reserved.     Came on a Tuesday night around 7:00 and we were seated right away! The service was great, our waiter was really nice and the food came out very fast.Appetizers were fair. The elote corn was really yummy, but insanely overpriced for corn with cheese and mayo on it (like $16 for that?? at least give us a really large portion). We also got the Buffalo chicken dip which was pretty tasty, but again really overpriced at almost $20. They tasted fine, for the price we expected to be blown away.Passionfruit mojito was yummy but REALLY sweet and tasted like artificial oranges a little bit. I got the spaghetti bolognese which was outstanding! Boyfriend got a burger (he couldn’t wait to eat before I took a picture) which he said was fairly good, but lacked a lot of flavor.His burger came with truffle fries (extra 2$ but whatever) which were chefs kiss 🤌🏼3 stars for the food but 5 stars for the service, so I’ll leave it at 4. This wouldn’t be my very first choice in the area, but it was pretty fair.

    We love Avoca!! Drinks and food are always great! The service is always stellar (especially Eileen tonight, who was so friendly). We love to bring our dogs here and sit outside when the weather is nice. Service and food are amazing!

    Great, dog-friendly (and I mean REALLY dog friendly; they have a terrific menu for dogs as well) gastropub with an interesting menu and great drink offerings, especially during happy hour . Our server, Emily, was friendly and very accommodating , one of the reasons we are returning for the third time in ten days! We went on Taco Tuesday and had three tacos for $10, the Caesar salad was delicious, but the reason we are coming back again is the Elote— the Mexican street corn is amazing, and they serve it on the cob, dusted with cheese and seasoned to perfection. Yum!!Music is great as well—love to hear a Hozier song over an aperol spritz!!

    Had an amazing brunch with a large group and dogs in a gorgeous outdoor courtyard setting, the team of Joshua and Yuri were utterly fantastic. They were so attentive to not only the group but offered dog beds and the trimmings for the furry friends. At the end of our event here we all decided that Avoca would be the place for group events to come due to the service and quality of food and drinks.

    My friend and I visited Avoca for a Saturday brunch, and it was fantastic. While there was a wait for the outdoor dining area, we found a table indoors without a problem. My friend ordered the EGG SLUTT, and I had the AVOCA EGG WHITE SMASH. I absolutely loved my egg white smash sandwich, especially the breakfast potatoes, which were cut into wedges and seasoned with special spices.The service was excellent, and the ambiance was laid-back and not too loud, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed brunch. It’s definitely a good idea to make a reservation, as the place was almost full by the time we finished. Overall, Avoca is a great place for a decent brunch.

    This place is adorable, and the service was awesome. My friend is getting married and had a bridesmaids brunch there for all her bridesmaids, and the hostess and servers all treated her and the rest of us amazing. The owner was also super sweet and hospitable, and they accommodated us without us having to ask when it seemed like it might rain since we were sitting outside. The outdoor area is super cute and looks like a garden, and it provided a really nice photo op for the bride. We were treated so well here that I couldnt believe we were in Manhattan. The drinks with the endless brunch were also super delicious.

    Avoca is an amazing spot for many reasons. Firstly, Rory the manager is so kind and accommodating. This past marathon Sunday he reserved a section of the bar for our family and friends to gather to celebrate my fiancés marathon completion! We had the best time and felt completely at home.Secondly, the food and drinks were awesome. You have so many options and everything was delicious.Since my father is in a wheelchair, I am super aware of accessibility. This place is extremely easy to navigate and even has a handicapped bathroom.To sum it up, Avoca has it all and we will definitely be coming back again soon!!!

    This restaurant has become our new favorite! The customer service has been top-notch from the beginning.
