    I was staying in the hotel, and decided to get breakfast here the next morning. I went with the French Toast and despite the low number of diners, it took a while to get to me.In true american fashion, the portion was generous, and it tasted amazing, from the cruncy almonds, to the soft yet firm apples.At $19, it was pricey to me, but seemed well worth the quanity and taste.

    Its loud here, but every place in this area is. If you feel like someone is watching you sip your negroni, youre not wrong. The hippo in the wall is definitely judging your choice of alcohol.

    Stop by Back Bar located in the back of the Kimpton Hotel to relax and unwind your day. With a variety of beers, ciders, wines, cocktails, mocktails, and bites, there’s something for everybody. Their friendly staff took our order of three different kinds of our favorite cocktail, Old Fashioned, along with one refreshing cocktail. They even have an extra fancy Pappy Old Fashioned made with the 10 Year Pappy Van Winkle. It’s an amazing experience to enjoy a Pappy cocktail in a cozy, warm, dimly lit lounge type with an amazing margherita pizza.

    Hosted a work happy hour event, we had a private area with amazing service and delicious food and drinks. Standout drinks are the Watermelon Cooler and the Frose, and for food the calamari and meatballs were great.

    Great night with dinner and drinks. Service was attentive and quick, the food was fun and delicious. The drinks felt inspired and refreshing. With an upscale atmosphere, the bowl of seasoned cheeseballs to start is a fun introduction. The manager, Nicole, was happy to suggest meat free options for our veggie needs, and she hit the mark on them all. We look forward to coming back soon.

    Wonderful restaurant. I had the Le Frenchie Burger, which came with a side of fries. The fries were very salty, which I liked, but might not be to others taste. It was $20. The staff is ridiculously friendly - amazing service, no question. Food arrived reasonably quickly. I liked the atmosphere. Near the Empire State Building and Macys etc., so good for the tourists looking for a bite during a day of sightseeing.

    An enjoyable lunch set in a lively restaurant tucked in the back of the Event hotel. Modern and spacious seating areas that open up to outdoor seating facing the public plaza. Menu consists of generally healthy yet indulgent options. Delicious! Would certainly come back to try out the dinner service.

Great place, clean, good coffee and deserts. Highly recommend. In addition their bartender, on 12/12/18 was alcohol magician.... quick and created tons of good looking drinks.

    We came here for late evening drinks on a Monday. Place was busy without being slammed. Pricing was average. Seating was spaced far enough apart that in a crowded room it was easy for a couple to feel alone. Service and food was good.

    The Vine is truly an oasis. The decor, food and top notch service in an unexpected location makes it feel like a treat each time I go. Its a gem. The only piece of feedback I have is since LAmico opened (another restaurant in the Eventi hotel) the Vine has taken a hit in terms of the menu. I do think theyve returned with a menu that is almost as good as its previous one, but the food is still absolutely delicious.

    Wow what an incredibly energetic environment this place has!! I enter into a very busy yet organized environment. Upon approaching the host Bechir and having my reservation found I was quickly seated by Julie who set up our table instantly. Once seated Bechir did an AMAZING job with providing prompt drinks and our food. My food was incredibly delicious! I ordered the LT Slider and the meat was slightly pinker than I can appreciate. Bechir came and replaced my order which I already started to eat and he made sure it was exactly as I wanted. At this point I’m too full to finish the sliders and he packed them to go. Throughout my meal Vlad did a great job checking on my friend and I. All of the staff at this establishment deserve an applause at the service and care they provide for their customers. The Vine, I give you 5 ⭐️

    I love the food at this place and great service. The hostess gets you seated very quickly and right away theres someone there to help you with your order. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

    Nice surprise of a place on noisy 6th ave. The hotel has (at least) 3 eateries, this one is behind the hotel lobby on the quiet passthru plaza. Cool ambiance inside with a stylish decor, comfortable furniture to sit on, and a very nicely designed bathroom. Food is very good, service is 5-*.

    There is a very good burger on the menu. Done relatively simply, with caramelized onions, the meat is very tasty, slightly peppery. A peppercorn sauce is served on the side. The fries are flavored with Mediterranean herbs and also taste great. Its not cheap ($20). I had a oak-aged negroni, which was very good too. The decor is really studied and que beautiful. Overall a great experience even though not cheap.

    We went to the speakeasy to try Schmuck’s drinks and ended up having the best time! The drinks were out of this world and we enjoyed the whole experience so much we went back the next day to get food and drinks by the fireplace.     Very cool spot. Bar is in four sections.     Great spot tucked away in the back of the Eventi hotel lobby. Excellent for drinks before/after a meal at nearby Skirt Steak or L’Amico. Extensive drink list with a multitude of specialty cocktails. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again!

    We were there for an event, and wanted some lunch, so we took a seat at the bar , and we love the menu, Anastasia the waiter and bartender was so efficiency, and gentle, really good, all time asking if we were ok. We really appreciate this kind of service.We had one of the best hanger steak in town, sauce bernaise was really good, steak perfect cooked , and I had a chop salad, with artichokes, and hard boiled egg, dressing excellent. We ate really good.Also great options for wine by the glass. It’s not our neighborhood, but definitely we will go back for the food and service. It’s a Laurent Torondel place.

    I went to The Vine for an event hosted by New York Magazine and Veuve Clicquot. The staff were great at making things go smoothly and making sure everyone had a good time. They hired an excellent DJ, as well. They served us finger foods and champagne. It was a great time!

    Met a friend for lunch and had a delicious soup and sandwich special. Our waiter never came back to check on us so we were parched for some time, though. That was a little disappointing. One important thing is that it is very hard to locate the restaurant from the outside! You need to cut through the hotel on sixth. Apparently in nicer weather, they have seating in the open plaza between 30th and 29th, but on a rainy January day, theres no sign of it from outside. Its not cheap per se, but it is definitely nice for a fairly quick business lunch.

    I came here with my sister on saturday September 16.2016 the food was excellent the drinks were excellent. Our server/waiters Kiara was absolutely the most marvelous person Ive encountered in long time.our only complaint your deserts were not to our liking.     What a great spot. I live a block and half away and saw a lot of changes at the Eventi Hotel since they opened and they really made their lobby and adjacent restaurants and bars top notch. Not many people think about coming to this area but it is the best place you will find in the area. I lunched at The Vine towards the back of the lobby and the food and service was IMPECCABLE. I highly recommend and I never recommend as I am ultra picky. It is run by famous chef, Laurent Torondel who also has the sister restaurant next door, LAmico. The Vine is a great place for drinks and light fare. And you can hear yourself speak!!!

    Walked in after a workout at the gym for an iced La Colombe coffee and was welcomed by hostess and bartender, no problem. The atmosphere is wonderful so I decided to stay and order something to eat. Got the grilled cheese which came with delicious fries. The bartender was friendly. My only complaint menu did not specify my grilled cheese would come with mushrooms (which I hate) & carmelized onions. -wish it did, I would have ordered something else. Sometimes u just want an ooey gooey classic grilled cheese. Here, I didnt get it. This wont stop me from making another visit though, its a beautiful spot.
