    Went for fun and service was ok but the DJ wasn’t very good had a very bad stench coming from him most likely cause of his stained hat and shirt kinda expensive 8$ for Brussels sprouts is crazy.

    Had a great time, lots of dancing, $20 to get in. the three different floors were cool cuz you can choose which vibe you want! They were playing a mix of songs for a while. we went on their spanish music night so it switched to Spanish, all kinds of people we’re having fun dancing

    Used to come here to party when I was fresh out of college. Nice setup with three floors, including a rooftop. Each floor has its own DJ, dancefloor, and bar. Not sure what drink prices are since we had an open bar package (for well drinks).They also have a bunch of hookah salesman floating around (at least they did during their NYE 2022 party). Music was mostly Latin with some EDM mixed in.

    I recently held an event for my company here and was met with friendly, professional and attentive staff. The ambiance was amazing and perfect for any event, a true New York staple. It’s urban stairwell leads to a chic, spacious and beautiful rooftop. The music is as perfect and catered to everyone’s taste. I highly recommend this venue and will be doing business with them again in the near future. Thank you Bar13!

    Went on a Friday night so Dress Code is no graphic t shirts so make sure you come correct. They have security and door person so night I went around 9pm there wasnt a cover then again Im a woman. They told my guy friend that there was a private party going on when in fact the issue was dresscode a simple fix. I get it but why lie to deter certain people from getting in. As an establishment I get you have the right to deter or refuse anyone from entering I worked in nightlife myself. Its a multilevel club with a bar and different music so I headed on rooftop Drinks were great had 2 frozen margaritas ($30) music was cool it got crowded mixed crowd and diverse. Not a bad experience a hidden gem nonetheless.

    My experience at Bar 13 tonight was absolutely amazing. Eddie made sure that everything was set up beautifully. From the food to the music, to the complete ambience and vibe. Tonight was a very special night for my coworkers as and I, as we wished our Dear friend on to a new and brighter future. Tonight was truly memorable, and I am grateful to have been able to conduct out event at Bar 13!

    Nice spot located in the union square area. Ladies if you are wearing heels or a short dress. I would think about wearing pants due to the fact that you have to take the stairs up to the floors.I had a couple issues with Bar 13, first they checked our ids but never searched us or looked in my purse, secondly after we sat down and got situated a guy who works there came to us and told us that theres a $10 fee for men. They should have given us a pass since no one mentioned that at the door and plus there wasnt anyone at the door to collect money. My second issue is that they allow people to smoke all sorts of paraphernalia inside. That dampened my mood, my eyes were burning, I was getting sleepy, I couldnt wait to leave and get some fresh air. My third issue, cash only at the bar on Sundays.The djs played well. There were a lot of older gentlemen there who thought they were in their 20s dressing like them with their pants hanging down with the baggy clothing and long chains hanging from their necks. People were dressed in their every day entire so theres really no effort being put into their clothing to come out to Bar 13.It will be a while before I return to Bar 13, over all it was cool to just go out and shake a leg.

    Really fun place to go out because there’s different music on every floor, but be warned they’re expensive! Hookah is $40 for regular and two shots of Casamigos will run you $35. I definitely recommend going, but if you’re a drinker definitely pre-game (responsibly) beforehand!

    Great over all. Have 3levels of dance and music. 1st level has free salsa secession, 2nd level has r&b and theres the rooftop. Wonderful vibes, great Atmosphere and nice area. A little pricey but loved it.

    I didnt stop dancing the minute I walked in. The music is off the charts n dancers were great. I had such a good time. I went on a Tuesday and it was packed with really nice people. I will definitely be back.

    Somewhat divey bar with an extremely loud dance floor and a nice little rooftop with hookah service. You probably already know whether this is your vibe or not. But also club soda costs $5.

    Bar 13 isn’t a bad place to go. Around 10pm I went to their salsa section, and it was free for ladies. You have to pay after 12AM for ladies. The salsa section was super fun, and then me and my friend went to their hip hop section around 12AM, and we each had to pay $20 to get in. The hip hop section was not lit in the beginning, and then as the night progressed it was very fun. The drinks are a bit expensive. I bought one drink, and paid $30, and that’s including a $5 tip. So, you will have a good time, just the drink prices are a little ridiculous

    Came here during the week and its quiet. has 2 floors, one indoors which has a nice dance floor, low lights and a bar, credit card minimum is $25. 3rd floor is rooftop, no nice views, but ok, music plays, small couches to sit, bar which is cash only. Try the weekend, probably more fun.

    I encounter Mr. Fuller two weeks ago on my trip to New York. He was an amazing Security Guard. He helped make feel safe and secure provided things for us to do while we wait for the private party clear out and he showed love and hospitality definitely need more people like him.

    Sunday evenings reggae party is the most authentic homage to true global reggae culture.Once you arrive at the front door you are greeted by a politely demurred security detail. Present your identification and you are respectfully invited to enter, absolutely no pretenciousness.The space is comprised of three distinctive levels, but my Sunday evening visit was concentrated within the second level, where the reggae party occurs every Sunday evening.Imagine for a moment the best reggae basement party you had ever attended. The space is well illuminated with dimmed light emitting diodes and the furnishing is set far to the side walls, permitting dancers full access to the dance space. There is a pleasant red hue hovering above the entire space that is being generated by a well positioned light bar in the centre of the dance floor.The reggae dancers patronizing the space are compelled to sway and gyrate to the rhythm and tempo of the deep bass that rattles within their bodies.I was no exception; as soon as I had entered the third floor I was captivated by reggae music being meticulously spun and broadcast by a very proficient reggae disc jockey.The atmosphere is certainly deliberately designed for those more interested in dancing than in observing the interior design of the space. The stairwells leading to the different floors are narrow, which demand sensible flat shoes to all of the women who feel the need to wear high heels.The alcohol being served is moderately priced, but charging four dollars for a bottle of water was quite excessive, indeed.I vehemently encourage all genuine reggae music lovers to attend this nostalgic Sunday evening party; this event pays tribute to a time when the music being played with the club was far more important than the interior design.In conclusion, if you do enjoy dancing to reggae music (Rocksteady, Early Reggae, Roots, Dub, Rockers and Dancehall) please venture to Sunday evenings at Bar 13.I shall post photographs subsequent to my next visit on Sunday, July 15, 2018👊

    Not a bad spot the drinks were decent and the bartenders were polite the party goers were lively and entertaining to watch everyone seem to be having a good time and all just vibing to the dj who played latin,hip hop , and old school the spot is small and gets packed pretty fast would visit again

    I came here for the Crabfest June 2018, horrible experience. tickets were for 4PM and they already had no food. Started serving pizza.... Promoters outside collecting tickets said you can request refund. However when you do , they only give you partial which is a joke !Revised : After reaching out to the owner of the Bar 13 , he was a huge help and was able to get me my refund !! THANK YOU TO THE OWNER !!

    I have never been to this bar. Ever. But, if you get close enough to a place, and your gps is on, Google will ask you to review it, so I will.Bar 13 is great. The event was DJed by my brother Tahleim and DJ Puffie--phenominal job on the wheels of steel, hosted by Tony Toca, and legendary guests like Cool Herc and T-La Rock were in the house. I didnt plan on staying long, but stood practically til the end.

    I was there this past Saturday for a birthday celebration and let me tell you I had the BEST time. Not only do they have the option of 2 floors depending on the vibes you’re looking for, the environment is so welcoming and vibrant.     Stephanie and Christina the Bartenders really make the place. BAR 13 has been around for eons. 3 floors. Main, 2nd and terrace. They close terrace at 1am. There are different parties every night. Find your music and go with friends. The crowd is always a good mix. The drinks are very well priced for Manhattan. Maybe because it is a college area. #notcomplaining 🤷‍♀️

    This was a bangin asz cluc experience. I came here to NY from LA and I always wanted to know what the club life was like here and Bar 13 didn’t disappoint not one bit!!!     Really nice place. Guards are top notch especially the one named DJ. I remember being there on numerous occasions and hes broke up fights with such grace. While the other guards stood around. Hes always so respectful. I look forward to seeing him whenever I show up. I know I have nothing to worry about. Cant wait for it to get warmer so I can enjoy the rooftop!!

    Didnt get to see the rooftop due to rain but its a nice spot to go to. Only thing bad Id say is the uneven stairs. The security guards do a good thing of warning you !. I would go back. I also didnt eat here so I wouldnt rate the food.

    It was okay. The roof top was nice, theres a place to sit. The staff was attentive. There were hookas and a bar upstairs and downstairs. The bartender is very knowledgeable.

    Went to check it out on a Sunday free before 12, but as always, it was too early. The rooftop Is cute, but chairs were wet too due to rain. Sundays are lit.
