While a bit overpriced, the food was phenomenal. Staff was kind, atmosphere was a little off - but overall a great way to see the view.

  • Review 2 (2019-03-28 - Rating: 4)

As a native New Yorker, I would recommend coming here for the view and feel of being in an old NY staple sight. Much better than going to the top and waiting in a long line. They take reservations here on opentable so definitely make one if you plan to visit!Crowd: mix of tourists & localsFood: just okay.Price: pricey for the qualityWine: lots of mediocre domestic winesVerdict: come for sunset for drinks and appetizers. Dinner would probably taste better elsewhere. Overall a good experience for its ambience, views and service.

There are several rooftop bars in NYC but this one tops them all, pun intended. The view is spectacular. Extensive drink menu and delectable desserts, well certainly be heading back here any time we are in NYC.

  • Review 4 (2018-10-10 - Rating: 5)

Made a reservation for 5 persons via email a month before my visit. My emails were responded to very quickly and reservation was seamless! The ambience was a classy and upscale one in the heart of the city. We celebrated a birthday and wanted it to be special, which it was! The chicken meal was delicious. Drinks were strong so did not need to order much! Overall it was a wonderful experience with priceless views of the city and a very accommodating and friendly staff! In my opinion it was well worth the money :)

  • Review 5 (2018-04-21 - Rating: 5)

Situated on the 65th floor of the Rockerfeller Center. Amazing views of New York and great cocktails. Had to have a Manhattan! Cocktails are all around $20 each. Booking is essential, you may get in the standing bar area but not a table unless you have booked.

  • Review 6 (2018-11-05 - Rating: 5)

We decided to go to Bar SixtyFive on a whim, and we are glad we did. Though the drinks are pricey, you get an amazing view of the city for a cheaper price than buying a ticket to the Empire State Building or One World Trade Center. The view was magnificent in the evening and I am so glad we decided to stop.

  • Review 7 (2019-10-27 - Rating: 5)

Had a great experience here this week. I came with a party of three on a Wednesday just when they opened, and waited in line for only about 15 minutes. We were nicely dressed but the dress code wasnt strictly enforced at the time, with some people in jeans and t-shirts. Even saw one guy in shorts and sandals (didnt bother us - just mentioning it for those who might be worried about getting in).At first we were a little disappointed as the south windows, which offer the best views (incl. Empire State and WTC), had their blinds drawn. But then they opened a door to allow everyone outside and we were greeted with a gorgeous view over the city. No complaints about our cocktails either, and the service was friendly and professional. All in all, highly recommended. Dont go to Top of the Rock or the WTC observation deck which charge more. Go here, get yourself a $20 cocktail (or cheaper beer/wine) and enjoy the same views for that money while sipping a nice drink.

  • Review 8 (2017-02-16 - Rating: 5)

Amazing views. The prices are high compared to Spain, but quite the same as Sweden, so all depends from where are you come from to say its expensive. However, the views are really cool and worth take a beer there. You dont need to book for a drink.

  • Review 9 (2018-05-02 - Rating: 5)

Undoubtedly one of the greatest view of Manhattan. Kind of tricky to find the entrance once youre inside the building so dont hesitate to ask your way. Drinks and food are definitely pricey but the view definitely makes up for the price.

  • Review 10 (2021-09-26 - Rating: 5)

The best place in NYC to get a view over the skyline.Buy a drink and go outside and get some wind in your hair and enjoy. It´s amazing.Gin/Tonic :)

  • Review 11 (2016-09-16 - Rating: 5)

Really an amazing view, and the watermelon basil cocktail was delicious! Staring at the view for hours was so satisfying. And on a beautiful night too! Highly recommended

  • Review 12 (2019-12-12 - Rating: 5)

Despite some of the recent reviews we had an excellent time. We booked a table for food for an anniversary celebration. The table had a great view overlooking Manhattan and although the bar area was busy behind us it did provide for a good atmosphere. The servers were great - all very friendly, helpful and attentive! We had a great meal and the portions were large, we couldn’t manage desert. I really enjoyed the slipper gin cocktail. Although the outdoor area was closed for viewing the views looking out from inside were great and a real treat for a special occasion.

  • Review 13 (2019-09-04 - Rating: 4)

The view is gorgeous. The food is not so bad. The service is awful. While we were waiting for our order, two different waiters brought us food that we did not order. Twice! Then another waiter brought our food to the next table, where people said it was not for them. We called him and said that its probably for us, and he said I will find out and left. In 5 min he came back and said Yeah, you are right. It is for you. What??!I would put less stars for it, if not the view. The view has changed my impression. As many has written, this place is all about the view. The view is really breathtaking! Even if you are not lucky enough to have the best seats, you will still enjoy the city lights beneath and around you. Also, they have a special terrace for those who want to enjoy the best view and take pictures. It is not the place with tables, it is separated area, so everyone can go there with a glass of wine. Very nice!I would come back there, but next time I would not order anything, but cocktail.

  • Review 14 (2017-11-30 - Rating: 5)

Beautifully crafted cocktails with the best views of the city. They have a strict dress code, so dress appropriately.

  • Review 15 (2019-02-08 - Rating: 4)

Their main selling point is the view and it did not disappoint, especially on the evening of our visit when the city was all lit up! The space has a bar in the center and dining tables by the windows. There are more drinks than food on offer. I am not sure if they have a dress code but we wore smart casual and didnt have problems getting in.The food was delicious, although the mains took a while to arrive. Our server was pleasant and helpful with suggestions. For this places location, prices are actually fair - we paid $103 (inclusive of tip) for an appetizer, two mains, and drinks.

  • Review 16 (2019-03-19 - Rating: 5)

We travelled from Scotland to New York and this was the first bar we went to on our arrival...what an incredible starting point! The staff from being greeted at the door to leaving at the end were so attentive and welcoming. We had informed the bar prior to arriving that it was our wedding anniversary and they seated us at a table at the window with the most incredible view and also brought some complimentary macarons to the table. The waiter was so friendly, cocktails great and overall it was a really lovely experience! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

  • Review 17 (2018-11-17 - Rating: 5)

Pricey but you wont regret it! The view is amazing! One of the best views and cost cheaper than Empite State Building. The appetizers are one of a kind! Love the atmosphere! My new favorite spot! The food, the drinks, the staff are great! Must make a reservation!

  • Review 18 (2019-05-07 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful sunset view, just check in your jackets, take the elevator, pay for a drink and enjoy the view!!!

  • Review 19 (2018-06-28 - Rating: 4)

Amazing landscape especially at the sun set ! Cocktail are good but a bit high price, we can say that you buy the view at each drink. Reservation is required if you would like to sit at table otherwise you can just stand up around tables and take pictures. Formal dress required and cloakroom mandatory !

  • Review 20 (2018-07-16 - Rating: 4)

Well-worth the price of admission. Better views than other tourist venues in the building/island and you can drink some really nice cocktails. A must-see during your adult vacation (children not allowed). The staff are really friendly and not stuffy.

  • Review 21 (2018-09-17 - Rating: 5)

Great job on so many levels!1) Needed to bump our reservation due to a private party - kindly offered a Friday night reservation, hard to get!!2) Felt so VIP to skip the line, be greeted by kind & beautiful human who showed us to the private elevator - fastest 65 story ride ever.3) Amazing views4) Awesome friendly professional server5) they seated Jimmy Fallon 6 inches from my elbow - nice to hear his conversation as normal 😋6) My fish was not as fresh as t should be, but edible. Son said his steak was “best ever” & he has a lot of steak. All in all, we’d go back for sure! 💖

  • Review 22 (2020-01-02 - Rating: 5)

If you are looking for the best view from a rooftop bar, look no further. I’ve been to Bar SixtyFive on many occasions and it will not disappoint! The drinks are great and they are, what I consider, the price of admission. The dress is genuinely business casual but feel free to throw on a tie because it is NYC and you’ll never be overdressed. Hope to see you here next time!

  • Review 23 (2018-07-11 - Rating: 5)

For our wedding anniversary last year, I suggested to my wife to have drinks and light bites at Bar SixtyFive, and thanks to her, she made reservations herself, and coached me what to wear as well. On the day itself, getting to Rockefeller in time, getting in line in a jiffy, and being ushered to the elevator were all a breeze. We asked for a table and upon being seated ordered champagne, then their exquisite salmon platter next. Before the food was served, we went out to the open deck to enjoy the views of Midtown Manhattan with our champagne glasses, and took selfies and photos of each other, the majestic dusk skyline in the background. The food, it turned out, was excellent, all the more enriching our enjoyment of the champagne. It was time well used, money well spent, and an evening to remember for a long time. Until our next big date, that is.

  • Review 24 (2017-03-03 - Rating: 5)

The food is good, the drinks are great, the staff is friendly, the elevator ride is exhilarating, and the view from the top is unbelievable!

  • Review 25 (2018-06-29 - Rating: 5)

ASK FOR JANE!There are a lot of reasons to come here. The view is stunning, the cocktails are great and the food is outstanding. But this you already know and could probably read about that on this review site or any other. If you want to enhance your experience, ask for your server to be Jane. I have eaten at thousands and thousands of restaurants around the world and really have I seen a server with this much and care, kindness and humor. in fact, she would be driving decision why I would want to eat again because we had that much fun sitting in her section.

  • Review 26 (2016-08-13 - Rating: 5)

Amazing place to come in the city to take in views, without the hubbub of the tourist population. Its at the 65th floor of the Rockefeller Center, and while they ask that you come in business casual and make a reservation early, it is completely worth it.Low foot traffic on the room inside, and while many people linger on the viewing ring outside the building, you can catch 90% of the views without even leaving your seat.Highly recommended.

  • Review 27 (2016-12-17 - Rating: 4)

Youre paying for the views here. Its posh. Its expensive. But the views are absolutely spectacular. Theres a really spacious middle area in the room to enjoy a drink and there are a few spots where you can get right near the windows for a good view. Although it was cold out and I couldnt go outside I would imagine the outside balconies offer amazing views too.

  • Review 28 (2017-11-27 - Rating: 5)

Hidden gem among hundreds of tourist traps. A great place to go for a fancy drink and great view. Hard to get a seat if the reservations are full, so either make a reservation or be ready to stand and take in the views from both inside and an outside deck. Spectacular views north (Central Park), south (world trade and empire state building), and west to New Jersey. Enjoy!

  • Review 29 (2019-05-21 - Rating: 5)

Great Food, Great Atmosphere, Incredible Views!!

  • Review 30 (2020-03-03 - Rating: 5)

Amazing view of New York, minus the throngs of tourists. Yes, i suppose it is a lot cheaper to just pay the ticket to go up one the skyscrapers in the city, but this experience of dining while enjoying the magnificent view is unbeatable. Service was great and so was the food. Would definitely visit again when in New York.

  • Review 31 (2019-06-10 - Rating: 5)

The most spectacular view of Manhattan, you will feel a bit like cattle when you try to go outside to take photos, but this is understandable with the places popularity. The drinks arent really that expensive when you consider the prices of drinks elsewhere, which also dont have that view. Additionally, consider the price of your drink as the price to see the view, I can assure you the price to go a floor higher without a drink is more... The dress code seemed mixed, but I would recommend dressing up to avoid disappointment (make an occasion of it - it really is fantastic especially at sunset).

  • Review 32 (2016-12-14 - Rating: 4)

Right in the center of it all - for better or worse. Making it to the bar, requires trekking through the labyrinthine maze of Rock Center, and under most scenarios sharing small spaces with a lot of tourists (Top of the Rock crisscrosses paths). The vibe once at the bar is better, with a more formalized dress code, luxe aesthetics, and great views of midtown. Making reservations helps to ensure service, otherwise youre at the bar, or trying to order small bites at standing tables. The food is good, serving high end interpretations of bar room classics, and the best part is service is pretty fast. The prices reflect the location and views - so it may be worth it to stop by once to feel like a tourist in your town, but repeated trips will hurt your wallet. Overall good experience, good selection of drinks, some interesting cocktails, edible food, and magnificent views - all for just a very pretty penny.

  • Review 33 (2020-03-04 - Rating: 5)

Definitely one of the cheapest options to see the NewYork Skyline from above. You have access to both sites: Central Park view and the view to Downtown over Empire State Building and One World Trade Center. The people with reservation sitting closer to the windows. As a bar visitor you just have a standing place in the middle of the room. But anyway - the views are breathtaking.Note:I still havent figured out why there is a different name between the Bar 65 and the Rainbow Room.

  • Review 34 (2016-04-21 - Rating: 5)

I loved the service here. I am from DC and am used to being overcharged for tourist frequented places, but do not fear- the tourist vibe was no where to be found here and I did not feel overcharged.I was here during NYFW, so maybe the gorgeous people add towards my nostalgia right now but between the views, the employees, the drinks, and the patrons this place would be my quick drink spot if I lived here. The service was impeccable. You can get to the escalators up to the elevator from which ever side of the building you enter, they have security guards (I think thats what they are anyway) that are more than willing to help with directions to the escalator. At the top of the escalator youre greeted by a coat check, security guard (official one this time) and hostess. At this point I had to give up my Evian water bottle. I proceeded up the long but relatively quick elevator ride and I was greeted by even more hosts. But man, they must hire only pretty people. The host and hostesses were very accommodating. A private party was going on that took up some prime real estate at SixtyFive for dinner views so I opted for the crowded bar on a Thursday night at 6 PM. They do not just point you to the bar, they escort you there and helped me get a menu! However in hindsight, this bar is VERY crowded at 8 when I left. So at 6 PM at least I could get face time with a bartender, at 8 youre fighting through a sea of people. After two Vodka cocktails and $50 later I was tired of standing, so I asked for a table. The host informed/warned me that another drink would be required at the table or food. I appreciated the heads up although it was unnecessary for me as the starters here looked amazing!I walked outside for the breathtaking view while waiting for my glass of wine. Wow! Stunning at sunset. I wish they utilized the space facing Central Park better!! The best views facing Midtown from outside were obstructed by the servers bustling in and out around a side door. They constantly were asking people to clear a path or move... theres got to be a way to accommodate people that want the view and keep your kitchen entry clear... Red rope or something? My seat inside was perfect, facing downtown towards the river. The menu is limited but they cover all the best foods in a few short choices!!Attire: Thursday @ 6 PM in the late summer most people were in work attire. Not many dresses or full suits though. No one was in jeans, but Im not sure if thats because of a rule.I highly recommend you stop by for a drink, appetizer, dinner, or view.

  • Review 35 (2017-02-26 - Rating: 5)

Best views in the city! Dessert was wonderful in presentation and taste. Drinks are made to perfection. Staff members at all levels were extremely courteous and went out of their way to be helpful.

  • Review 36 (2017-01-31 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful views with a lovely outside terrace. Yes the drinks are expensive, but when you compare them to what you would pay to go up to the Empire State Buildings observation deck it is actually very reasonable!

  • Review 37 (2024-06-22 - Rating: 5)

    Incredible view!

  • Review 38 (2016-07-22 - Rating: 5)

Wow, what views! Pricy drinks, but all the friends I brought here agreed it was worth the price.

  • Review 39 (2019-02-17 - Rating: 5)

From the receptionist in the lower lobby to the hostess to the waiters, they were all wonderful. They would all come by for small talk and answer all our questions. We we given the corner table that has the Empire State backdrop, best table. Its a must for us to come back in the summer

  • Review 40 (2017-03-17 - Rating: 4)

Yes the drinks are pricey but it is worth it as there is no cover charge be upstairs. Definitely make reservations as the place gets crowded. They have a coat check downstairs but keep your jacket if you want to go on the outdoor walkway.

  • Review 41 (2019-05-23 - Rating: 5)

Great innovative drinks, friendly staff! Crowded, reservations suggested.

  • Review 42 (2018-12-25 - Rating: 4)

Ive been here 4 times in one month.... because its just that good! The Hemingway rum drink is my favorite. Its just excellent! It is small and gets crowded on the weekends... thats just how good it is. Oh.. the service is excellent!

  • Review 43 (2020-01-18 - Rating: 5)

There is a line, there is a wait, and most likely you will be standing room only areas, but what a view and what a location. The cocktails are pricey but generously served. As far as food they have small plates (we had lobster sliders) but only if you have one of the stand tables.

  • Review 44 (2019-11-03 - Rating: 4)

I had a great experience here. The drinks were excellent - cocktails and selection of beers were extensive as well as many different bottles to choose from. Food is tasty but comes in small portions - service can be a little inconsistent but the experience was overall enjoyable.

  • Review 45 (2022-08-22 - Rating: 5)

It was one of my best memories in New York, the view of the city, good drinks, and meeting amazing people. It is an excellent idea to add to the list if you are visiting this magnificent city.

  • Review 46 (2019-04-18 - Rating: 5)

This iconic building in New York in the Rockefeller plaza was recommended by a few people and was definitely worth the visit, definitely a classy place where dressing up a little wouldn’t hurt, but after a great dinner out we went for some late evening cocktails and a few scotches. The views of the New York skyline and the first class bar staff made the $300.00 worth of (lots of drinks) definitely worth it.The hangover I woke with today was worthwhile.

  • Review 47 (2020-01-24 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 48 (2018-07-06 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 49 (2020-01-10 - Rating: 5)

One of my favorite views of the city. I would highly recommend a visit here on a clear night. Drink prices arent bad, and they have the best virgin cocktails Ive found in the city.

  • Review 50 (2017-08-29 - Rating: 5)

Visited August 20, 2017. Bliss. At last we find a cocktail bar in New York without cretinous, loud piped music. Excellent, varied cocktail choices served by knowledgeable mixologist. Stayed until closing. Visiting from UK.

  • Review 53 (2018-08-20 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful surroundings, great service with helpful, friendly staff, great food and cocktails. Do dress for a special evening, as you will enjoy it even more, and you will feel perfectly at home with the rest of the patrons.

  • Review 54 (2018-07-25 - Rating: 5)

This was one of my favorite places we went during our whole trip and we were there for an hour and it didn’t involve food, that’s saying something. We went up for drinks and to step out into their glass walled balcony. It was beautiful and well worth the short 15 minute wait. The signature drinks ranged from $20-$25 and were fun and tasty.

  • Review 55 (2018-11-06 - Rating: 5)

While my wallet may not, i always love drinking here. Perfect service, good drinks and stellar view. Cant go wrong, but do try and go when the crowds arent there...

  • Review 74 (2018-01-01 - Rating: 5)

Tips: 1) dress code strictly enforced (collared shirt and long pants) 2) drinks can be pricey 3) rooftop deck not open when it’s cold out so might only be indoor seating 4) drinks can be pricey 5) if no table available there is a bar area 6) tables align the side of the bar all window seats 7) some food and desserts are served

  • Review 89 (2015-10-13 - Rating: 4)

Offers amazing views of the city, drinks are pricey but its what youd expect.

  • Review 90 (2018-04-06 - Rating: 5)

What a place, never ate there sadly but had a couple drinks and admired the amazing views 😊

  • Review 91 (2017-02-18 - Rating: 4)

Nice cocktails and great views...will be back to checkout the food!

  • Review 92 (2018-05-03 - Rating: 4)

Excellent food and views, but sad that they allowed Google employees to stand blocking the walkway.

  • Review 93 (2018-07-09 - Rating: 5)

Its a good place to have early dinner or late lunch while seeking NYC skyline

  • Review 94 (2019-08-24 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful view, great drinks good service

  • Review 95 (2019-09-26 - Rating: 5)

Great views, solid service. Prices were similar to the rest of Manhattan.

  • Review 96 (2016-12-16 - Rating: 5)

Having a fancy cocktail on the 65th floor couldnt have asked for a better treat while in NYC.

  • Review 97 (2016-09-11 - Rating: 5)

Amazing views of NYC, would definitely recommend getting a table and sitting outside

  • Review 98 (2014-12-13 - Rating: 5)

Awesome views get there around 4.30 for a 5pm opening to get a table.

  • Review 99 (2018-10-04 - Rating: 5)

I had such a wonderful experience. Enjoyed the food and the drinks.

  • Review 100 (2017-01-07 - Rating: 5)

Great bar for drinks and sightseeing

  • Review 101 (2018-01-28 - Rating: 5)

Views that can only be made in Manhatten...one of a kind. Must eat the cherries!

  • Review 102 (2023-06-03 - Rating: 5)

What a great place to dine! High Above everything else, very exclusive. Great food, had my best cocktail ever here. Can only recommend.

  • Review 103 (2016-03-11 - Rating: 5)

Best views in NYC. Swanky bar. Doesnt get much better.

  • Review 104 (2018-04-07 - Rating: 5)

A bit pricey but the cocktails are very good

  • Review 105 (2019-07-31 - Rating: 4)

I enjoyed the beautiful view and my food and drink were great but the service was not. I felt that because I was dining alone they ignored me. It took me 25 minutes to get my waiter to take my order. In that time I finished my cocktail (ordered from the bar) and had even had it cleared so I sat with just water. Even when I did get his attention he was looking around at other guests while taking my order. Once my appetizer came he again disappeared and I never ordered my main course. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the view was incredible and I saw others getting exceptional service from other members of the staff.

  • Review 106 (2017-12-30 - Rating: 4)

Heard several recommendations to come here instead of going to top of the Rock. Im sure the view at top of the Rock would be better, but for us this was great! Theres a line that gets formed starting around 4:15 if you want to get in right when it opens at 5. However, the line does move pretty decently once it gets open. The place can get pretty crowded for standing room only so would recommend calling ahead to get a table. Cant comment on the food as we didnt eat there, but the drinks were pretty tasty and the view, although obscured by the tables lining the perimeter of the bar, was nice. Pictures can only be taken in certain spots and on busy evenings expect there to be lots of people waiting to take a pic of the empire state building.

  • Review 107 (2020-02-19 - Rating: 5)

Finding that perfect view of Manhattan doesn’t have to involve long lines comprised of tourists. Bar SixtyFive provides an elegant aerial view with excellent cocktails to match. For what you would pay to go up other buildings for their lookout deck, you can enjoy a cocktail and the view at this location. No entry cost and no reservation needed for the bar.

  • Review 108 (2020-03-27 - Rating: 5)

A very nice restaurant. The view is amazing, I recommend you to make a reservation for early dinner so you can see the sunset. The food was delicious, very good service. I will go there again when I am back to New York.

  • Review 109 (2016-01-11 - Rating: 5)

Awesome bar near the top of Rockefeller center. I preferred their old fashioned drinks vs. the contemporary ones, but your mileage may vary. The bar food varies from awesome to just good. When we visited the dress code didnt seem to be enforced strongly (there were people in jeans and pullover) however this might vary.

  • Review 110 (2017-05-04 - Rating: 5)

    AMAZING view !!!!

  • Review 111 (2020-09-30 - Rating: 5)

It’s been a year. I was here for my 50th birthday on this day last year. It was an amazing night. The spectacular view, sensational cocktails, delicious food, and impeccable service....it all made turning 50 not quite so horrible! Can’t wait until the COVID restrictions aren’t gone and 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 is back to normal so we can return to visit NYC. A word of advice: dress up. I’ve read so many reviews that seem to want to know the least they can get away with in the arena of attire. Like it or not, the staff WILL treat you better ( preferences, in our case skipping a long waiting line to go out on the terrace for pics), if you look like you care about your appearance and the venue. Women... a dress or nice pantsuit, men a jacket and no sneakers. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should applies here! Enjoy!,

  • Review 112 (2018-09-17 - Rating: 5)

A great detour. Get there right at opening and have a drink and enjoy the views. Just dont forget to wear a collared shirt if youre a guy. No real dress code otherwise.

  • Review 113 (2016-12-24 - Rating: 5)

This place is a little pricey but absolutely gorgeous!

  • Review 114 (2019-09-02 - Rating: 4)

Lovely bar & restaurant overlooking empire state building

  • Review 115 (2015-11-20 - Rating: 5)

One of the best kept secrets in New York, my wife and I found this place by just exploring the area and they had recently opened. The staff was extremely polite and professional. The views are stunning and I would recommend coming during sunset or after 10 p.m.

  • Review 116 (2018-09-26 - Rating: 5)

A mustgo bar when in New York! Special cocktails and meat platter! The waiter was very polite and helpful! The view is outstanding but you need to queue to go outside and you can go only for 15 minutes! ( night time ). Great place to take your wife or girlfriend!

  • Review 117 (2018-10-20 - Rating: 5)

We went during our stay in New York when the weather was awful. And the security did warn us that there was minimal visibility. We were told that we didn’t need to book, and you don’t if you stand in the centre. But we’d recommend booking to get a table. The drinks are expensive and you have to order at least one each, fair enough as you get the spectacular view (only glimpses in our case!). The service was slow, but ok. Shame about the weather, that’s not their fault!

  • Review 118 (2016-05-17 - Rating: 4)

Perfect location and views. Definitely better than doing Top of the Rock as no queues. Drinks expensive but what would you expect?? Did a cocktail for me that wasnt on the menu and nailed it.

  • Review 119 (2017-08-16 - Rating: 5)

Its a great place for an occasion. The views are breathtaking, indoor seating cosy and chic, and the music perfect. Really enjoyed our time there! Wish there were more veggie options for food though, but cocktails were great!

  • Review 120 (2018-03-25 - Rating: 5)

Nice staff, great cocktails, and the view is absolutely amazing. You can see all the buildings, whole New York, stunning! Best view so far, would definitely recommend

  • Review 121 (2017-11-07 - Rating: 5)

Spectacular view and very elegant setup. Great place to go on a date or for drinks. One of my favorite bars in Manhattan.

  • Review 122 (2019-01-04 - Rating: 5)

Great views, go here instead of top of the rock! Nice cocktails, $20 each, so cheaper than top of the rock at 38$ plus u get a good drink that is actually full strength unlike the many 12$ cocktails around town. Make sure you follow the dress code (business casual or simalar) and perhaps pick a quiter night too, reserve a table if you can!

  • Review 123 (2019-04-02 - Rating: 5)

Booked a table well in advance and noticed that a particular smart dress code was required. Some staff are unattended but their food and drinks are superb!

  • Review 124 (2017-01-15 - Rating: 5)

Pricy deliciously innovative plates to share while drinking.

  • Review 125 (2016-01-16 - Rating: 5)

Great view of the New York City skyline. Best part... its free to get in, you avoid the queues and you can take in the great view whilst enjoying a beverage!

  • Review 126 (2018-01-07 - Rating: 4)

Incredibly rude waiter, but great view

  • Review 127 (2016-08-17 - Rating: 5)

If you are looking for the best view in NYC with a grown up crowd, look no further than 65! I go time and time again and never get bored of that view. The cocktails are not cheap but worth every penny. I have tried the food as well and not surprising that it was terrific!

  • Review 128 (2019-10-15 - Rating: 5)

The staff is top notch. I liked everything very much. I enjoyed the beautiful view and my food and drinks were great

  • Review 129 (2017-09-21 - Rating: 5)

Price will be worth your viewing experience

  • Review 130 (2017-12-29 - Rating: 5)

Romantic, historic slice of America at its best. Very romantic. Highly recommended

  • Review 131 (2017-07-20 - Rating: 4)

Spectacular view. Limited dinner menu but good. Make reservations and sunset is great.

  • Review 132 (2019-03-27 - Rating: 5)

One of the best resto-bars in manhattan

  • Review 133 (2019-01-31 - Rating: 5)

Came to try this place out one night and loved it! Beautiful views of the city with a upscale vibe!

  • Review 134 (2016-10-08 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic views over the city from the terrace, love it up here. Best enjoyed before the terrace closes for the winter.

  • Review 135 (2017-03-19 - Rating: 5)

Been to this place a couple of times whilst living in New York. If youre interested in seeing the top of the Rock then whats a better way to do it than with an old fashioned in your hand. Prices are a bit expensive but its got great 270 degree views of New York. Be sure to check before you go as they sometimes have functions.

  • Review 136 (2016-07-07 - Rating: 5)

Possibly best views of midtown in Manhattan. Go for a drink and enjoy views

  • Review 137 (2019-10-08 - Rating: 4)

Honestly the best thing that we did in NYC was go up here in time to see the sunset (worth checking that before you go up). It can get busy and it is worth getting a ticket to go outside as soon as you get up before you get a drink at the bar but honestly the view is spectacular

  • Review 138 (2016-01-31 - Rating: 5)

Iconic view. Nice cocktail. Not cheap but worth it for one.

  • Review 139 (2018-10-24 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 145 (2018-05-06 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful view from the 65th floor - and the atmosphere/food/drinks were PHENOMENAL! It was cloudy when we were there, but cheaper and easier way to see the view (versus Top of the Rock).

  • Review 146 (2017-03-08 - Rating: 5)

Expensive cocktails but great views and experience

  • Review 147 (2019-10-31 - Rating: 4)

Go for sunset on a clear evening and look at the skyscrapers escaping into darkness. The drinks are great, and food is OK. Be sure to book beforehand or wait forever in line.

Nice view from the bar. Service is good.

  • Review 149 (2019-09-26 - Rating: 5)
