    We went here to have dinner on a hot Sunday evening. The upstairs terrace had a nice breeze and a beautiful view. We enjoyed the water melon & feta salad, beef salad and tuna bowl very much and the service was super friendly.

    We reserved the mezzanine bar area on the 2nd floor for an engagement party and it was perfect. The whole Event staff (Sarah, Nicki) were so friendly and flexible when we were initially booking the space. The night of the party went so smoothly and Jen behind the bar was so kind and helpful. The people, the vibes, the food, the drinks, everything went great. My first choice for any future event in NYC!

    The service and atmosphere of Bella Union was remarkable! The servers are very kind and are very patient, it didn’t take long to be seated, and the menu options have a large range of things to choose from! The rooftop itself was very floral and urban— with outstanding views of the city! In fact, I feel as if this place is very underrated and lives up to every single review. The food is incredible and the ambience is something every New Yorker would love to engage in. I went for lunch with a friend, the servers, the staff and even front desk were extremely nice with impeccable service. Great overall!

    I would recommend this space for a cute event. I came here for a baby shower on the third level and even from the entrance I was like “oh this place is cute”. It has a great location with a really nice atmosphere and decor. This reminded me of the rooftops in LES but less of a trek. I heard the food was good and the mocktails I had were enjoyable. I definitely will have to come back here!

    This place was super cute and my food was amazing! Definitely recommend the French toast, so yummy. Had some drinks and the were equally as good. Came here for a brunch and we were on the rooftop. Definitely the place to be when dining in. The view is beautiful.

    Amazing place for a view of the Empire State and Chrysler building if sitting near the edge. Food was okay a bit dry but tater tots and mac and cheese were great! Service was also amazing.

    Really nice decor and ambience, good number of options for food and drinks with good portions, reasonably good food and drinks (I am told), large amount of seating including rooftop (and 2 floors) typical Manhattan crowd.We went as a large group for a farewell dinner and spent about $70 per person for average 1.5 drinks, half a starter, one entree and one dessert.Of the starters I would recommend the tots and wings (guac didnt have much salt), entree I would recommend the Salmon, grilled chicken sandwich and the burgers. Dessert the vanilla ice cream tasted funny, but the chocolate cake was good.

    Initial visit: Disappointed due to being thrown out of the rooftop for only wanting drinks despite having a reservation. Ended up standing at the bar. Bartenders improved the experience, especially Dagmara for her exceptional service and drinks. Overall, the experience was not as expected.- Follow-up visit: Better experience. Allowed on the rooftop to take pictures and had excellent service from the server.

    Ive been here a couple times, mainly for events but a couple times for drinks on the roof deck. The staff are generally friendly and mix good cocktails. The food is good, but the event food falls a little behind. On nice days the roof can get crowded.

    Amazing brunch! Super reasonable prices! Amazing views. Can’t hype this place up enough. Came late night and enjoyed the rooftop and bar, good music, nice bouncers. Again, fantastic prices.

    I visited this place for a rooftop bar experience in Manhattan, but the rooftop is located on the third floor, making this place much shorter than other skyscrapers in Manhattan. We got pizza, fish and chips and the food was quite good. The service was also very fast and efficient. Overall the place is a good restaurant but I found the rooftop experience a bit underwhelming.

    We stumbled upon this place with my friend completely randomly, but we were very pleased with the experience because the food here is really delicious! I recommend the NY strip steak salad. We happened to come during the lunch special, and the prices pleasantly surprised us. Generous portions for very good prices! Beautiful decor, plenty of space, and a wonderful view. The service was 3/5; the waitstaff wasnt very friendly and forgot to bring our drinks, but the food, prices, and decor made up for it. Overall, a wonderful experience. The place is quite popular bc on Friday afternoon it was already very crowded. Def recommend this place!

    Literally delectable. Googled for a good eggs Benedict with a nice view near me and my desires were DELIVERED. The food was a 10/10, my mocktail, “Good Luck Babe” was great as well. The potato fries were definitely my favorite addition to the entree which ended up being a very reasonable price as a whole meal itself. The staff were also just very very nice to greet and seat me. My server was even more eager to be of service as well and I felt very welcomed at Bella Union! I’ve already recommended it to a few friends and I’ve totally found my go-to rooftop spot for the future. ;)

    We stopped in to Bella Union as we were wandering third avenue. Terrific spot! EXCELLENT service. And tasty food--I had the backyard burger cooked perfectly, and my husband had grilled cheese with tomato and bacon--also tasty! If you want a local feeling place (our server Zach knew almost everyone) with excellent food and a comfortable atmosphere this is the place! Well be back for the rooftop another time!

    We hosted a welcome event for our wedding here on the rooftop and it was an excellent time! The staff were very easy to work with and our guests had a blast. The rooftop area is a great mix of indoor and outdoor vibes and the drinks and bites delivered. As an added bonus, one of our guests misplaced their jacket at the end of the night and the staff contacted us the next day to let us know they found it and that theyd hold it for us. All in all, a really solid place!

    Came here for some drinks after brunch and it was a great experience! The bar was very warm and cozy with the holiday decorations. Drinks were phenomenal, shout-out to Cassidy who was extremely friendly, attentive, and was a great bartender. Every drink was delicious, and she was super kind and conversational!

    What a beautiful Place to Dine and Enjoy good Company! O’Neal was very friendly and made recommendations! The wings were amazing! Nice and crisp and the right amount of heat. The French Fries was also perfect! I did not love my salad… too much arugula but I was told that the burger was really good! They enjoyed drinks! My water quenched my thirst perfectly!!! What a lovely time we had! … and the bathroom was clean! Thanks!

    First time in Bella Union and YOU have to go, its amazing! The cocktails were to die for and the vibe was just really fun.     Great spot all around especially for happy hour! Friendly and attentive service, broad menu, nice happy hour, plenty of drinks. I love the spacious multi level atmosphere. There is plenty of room to sit at the long bars, tables, so great for groups and private events.The rooftop is great, for dining and also happy hour. I enjoyed the Italian sandwich that was freshly sliced and yummy fries for dinner, but there was plenty on the menu Id comeback for. Enjoy!!

    This place gave me the same feeling you get when you sit in a brand new car for the first time.The place was packed, and very well decorated. The music was good, and they have 3 floors which means you can have a different experience depending on where you are.I would recommend staying in the top floor (the bar is half outdoors and half indoors), since it was cooler around this time of year. Also they will eventually stop letting people up to the top floor, so best to get up there earlier.Great spot though. Can see this place becoming a regular night out spot.     Great after work spot for happy hour. Rooftop is 3 floors up. Place is pet friendly and very upbeat. Service was quick, drinks were strong and everything on the menu was delicious. Highly recommending the spicy habanero wings! They were tasty and spicy! Also, the tots were perfectly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.

    Randomly Found this Place for lunch and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !The Atmosphere, the vibe , the food and the Service are just amazing !!! Zack was a love and super helpful .     We had a private party on the 2nd floor. The space is spacious and accommodating for 30+ people. Decor is nice and well lit. The food provided was excellent bar food. They did an amazing job considering our groups shinanagans. Kudoos to our bartender (red head tiny lady) who managed a crew that size without breaking a sweat. 10/10 will do that again.

    I was there during lunch on the main floor, and they have an INCREDIBLE lunch special on Wednesdays where every burger on the menu (including fries) is only $10!     A very nice hangout spot I got a chance to check out with coworkers during NYC climate week! I I really enjoyed the atmosphere here as the music was not very loud and created a perfect energy to chat and hangout. I ordered a virgin mojito which was a delicious and refreshing drink. Overall, my colleagues and I spent a large part of our evening hanging out at this location and were very satisfied by the service and experience here. I do recommend coming out here!

    I would highly recommend Bella Union for any party size. We had a large booking and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and amazing. If you’re in NYC and need a place to go I would run not walk to this place

    Zach was an amazing server and corinne was a phenomenal bartender. Those two could run the world. So attentive and caring. Everything happened in a timely manner. 10/10 service. They could serve me by the dumpster and I would be satisfied. They could give me poop on a platter and I would eat it just because it was them.

    Came here for a birthday celebration, overall solid! Alison took great care of us, she was responsive and friendly, she’s a rockstar! We got a bottle of rose and some cocktails, and a few food options before the place turned into more of a bar. Food was good, drinks were tasty, and my only comment would be that the top 40 music isn’t my style.

    Lorna, Daniel, and Carly were absolutely amazing we loved them so so much they deserve all the raises in the world they were the most wonderful hosts and we will 2000% be back here again!!     Nice quiet bar for happy hour. The service was very nice friendly and professional. The cauliflower bites was wonderful and taste. The drinks were pretty nicely made and food was good. Definitely a place a check out once you in the area. Highly recommended. Very spacious and comfortable.

    This place is such a welcome difference from the many other bars in the area. Bella Union has such a classy yet comfortable vibe, and all the staff are so friendly! The drinks were very reasonably priced as well. They also have good djs, and heaters on the top floor. There’s lots of tables to sit at, and a bar on each floor so you never feel crowded trying to get a drink. We’ll definitely be back to try the food!
