    Im a Oyster Freak & Yes Black Crescent Has Amazing Tasty Oysters. Stopped by location on Friday Got Serviced by Tim. Who I informed I only had 15 mins but would love to try the Oysters. With a smile and kindness he said we can make it happen. When I tell you as soon as the Oysters came out they were Big and JUICY 😍 Im actually going to go have some again today. Thanks Tim.     I love hanging out here! The vibe is friendly, cozy and chill. Nice place to stop by for a drink before or after a dinner but also a great place to sit down for a happy hour beer and oops! end up staying all night and eating here instead. The whole staff is great and will take good care of you. Special shout out to Reynolds, who really sets the tone with his genuine warmth and ability to make everyone feel welcome and safe.I would also highly recommend this space for events, group hangs, birthdays, etc. I once participated in a watermelon carving contest and had so much fun and destroyed 2 watermelons in the process and my art was NOT pretty. But, damn. Good time. :)Go meet some people there!

    Recently hosted a private event here and cannot say enough good things about this place. Reynolds was a dream to work with and made the whole process so easy for us. The staff was so kind and accommodating and played a massive role in making the night so special. Drinks were SO good - the only thing that outdid the cocktails was the Bang Bang Shrimp. You REALLY dont want to miss out on the Bang Bang Shrimp. The warm environment, safe space vibes, and the great food and drinks will definitely keep me coming back!

    Loved this bar JJ is a super cool bartender made delicious old fashions and their frozen Poaloma is delicious. We also shared the pretzel that was fresh and loved the cheese sauce .

    Love Love Love this place! Arrived early and stayed because the atmosphere was great the service was great. Such a wonderful spot worked out a whole agreement and business meeting. The fried chicken sando was great and bang bang shrimp my partner had was amazing. Thank you Reynolds you were amazing!

    I love this spot. It’s exactly the kind of place where you can come after a long day and just relax for a second. The owner is the sweetest and the food is delish. Everything is also so reasonably priced. One of my favorite parts of the neighborhood.

    Hadnt been since the start of the pandemic and it was great to return. Still love the drinks and the service and the Bang Bang Shrimp, and even though the oysters are $2 now, theyre still icy cold and perfectly cleaned. Only thing Id wish would be that theyd bring back some of their original menu items - more of the shareable seafood ones. But other than that, it was still a lot of fun and I wont wait another three years to go back.

    Cant recommend enough. My brother and I rented out the Black Crescent for our 30th birthday and it was the best night ever, thanks to Reynolds and his amazing staff. Reynolds was incredibly communicative and supportive, and he even helped us come up with a custom cocktail menu (with reeeally great drinks!). The staff set up the place so well, served amazing food, and truly went above and beyond to make it a memorable night. It was such a vibe. We all love the Black Crescent and cant wait to come back!

    I really liked the vibe here but my drink was disappointing. I got the rosebud and i was expecting it to be floral. Especially since it was gin based. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. Overall I’d come back for the vibe. The fact that there is food. And that there are cheap beer options if you’re in the mood. Mixed feelings.

    The drinks here are top notch! i got a moscow mule that was divine! they now have out-door seating which is also great! this place used to be a wonderful brunch place called alias - and had the best breakfast burritos. i miss it. but these guys are super nice and the place has an upscale look; with a downtown relaxed vibe. especially great on weeknights. very low key

    Came here for a party. Staff was friendly and super quick. Always looking to help you. Food was amazing. Got to try the oysters, waffle fries, cheese curds, giant soft pretzel, bang bang shrimp and empanadas and they were all amazingly delicious. Definitely have to try their food. Plus found a refreshingly delicious drink of vodka, mint and lemonade that is on their happy hour menu. I had 5 in a row.

    Very low key and cool spot for drinks tucked away in the lower east side away from the chaos. It’s not cheap but they have a pretty good happy hour on weekends and the house Pilsner is a good one for $5. Staff is usually very friendly and overall I have had nothing but pleasant experiences here. It will get crowded at certain times but overall one of my favorite LES spots to hang out at.

    Dark bar in the LES with a great daily happy hour. Cant go wrong here to have this place be your local watering hole. I would say music could be a bit better, but the people is what makes this atmosphere. Bartenders are fun loving and on the lookout for you.

    Stepped into this corner bar on a cold fall evening just to warm up a bit before finishing my walk home. 5 minutes after sitting down I realized this was my kind of spot. The atmosphere and lighting were perfect. Dark but still comfortable. I got cozy with my drink, then noticed food coming out of the kitchen and it was too tempting. I ordered the oysters and was not disappointed! And the hot sauce they were paired with was so tasty I tried to buy a bottle from the bartender before I left. So happy I found this place, the staff were genuinely friendly and fun to be around(this normally isn’t the case for a cocktail bar in nyc). I can’t wait to come back with a date, this spot seems perfect for that. Thank you all at Black Crescent for a pick me up on a chilly nyc night! Y’all made my weekend and will be back soon!

    We stopped in here for a drink after dinner. It was a new spot, so we decided to give it a shot. This place has the ambience of a cocktail lounge in Pigale, Paris with the coktail list to match. The cocktails are awesome. They have an awesome rum list which made me very happy. The staff is friendly and more than willing to accommodate your palate. I will definitely be back. If you enjoy a warm atmosphere and a great drink, you should really check this place out.
