    Honestly came here for the shakes, and they were amazing! We tried the Oreo & Nutella shakes (keep in mind the regular size is already good enough for 2, the supreme is even larger than that!). The food was also delicious but pricey for the portion (I believe 6 wings were around $20; salads and burgers were also similarly priced). The atmosphere was very chill (we loved the artwork on the walls) and we received excellent service from staff. Would def come here again next time we’re in NYC!

    Good burgers and very filling and tasty shakes with elaborate designs. The Wagyu burger was juicy and served with a bold vinegary sauce. The fries were crispy and the sauces ordered with them were a noticeably decent size.

    Place was packed for a chilly Tuesday. Still, got seated fast. Knew what I was here for, had my cookie shake in less than 10 minutes despite the crowd and, although it isnt cheap, these things live up to the hype! A perfect amalgamation of ice cream, shake, cookie, chocolate and cinnamon! Will definitely be back!!

    The burgers and milkshakes are 🔥🔥🔥! The burgers well exceeded my expectations!! I’ve had the Texan burger and Wagu Steakhousr burger - both were delicious! The drink menu is ok, but the milkshakes is something a person with a sweet tooth dreams about!

    The place was crowded, but we were seated pretty quickly without a reservation. Franklin was our server and was the ABSOLUTE BEST! He was extremely attentive, very friendly and conversational and funny! Food was prompt and hot. Brussel Sprouts were delicious, especially with the dipping sauce it came with. The Hot Chicken sandwich was fresh and crispy, as well as the sweet potato fries. The Cosmopolitan was perfectly sweet and delicious. The Arnold was the right amount of sweet and sour. Unfortunately I didnt get to try one of their famous milkshake but that gives me a reason to go back! Kudos again to Franklin for his outstanding service!

    I personally think this is better than the Gordan Ramsey burger joint in Vegas. The burger and fries were so delicious. And these shakes?!?! Are you kidding me?! So good!!! Not to mention the service was phenomenal. Every single person we encountered wanted to make sure we had the bear experience which I loved.

    A great spot to grab a quick bite or for a night out with friends. Prices are reasonable for Manhattan and the food quality is above average. The menu has a good variety of American food and vegetarian options too. The shakes are definitely worth the price! Good options from vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, strawberry, and peanut butter. I highly recommend the cookies and cream and strawberry shortcake. The service was average - below average but thats expected from a place this busy. Staff was friendly and accommodating but were not available when needed.

    This place is good for your classic American food; burgers, fries, wings. We stopped in for a quick bite. There was a little bit of a wait. The hostess was pretty fast we were seated quickly. Unfortunately it was by the door during a very cold day. I do wish restaurants would have some type of heater not just for outdoor dining, but for seating areas inside that are close to the door, they get the cold draft every time somebody walks in. It’s very uncomfortable. We got a couple of burgers, fries, and some chili nachos. The chili or the cream on the nachos, have a bit of a kick to it. Was still tasty but not enough meat. Burgers and fries were very tasty. It was too cold in our area to have some of their signature crazy shakes. They look pretty good, and are quite large. Our server was attentive but even they remarked about how cold our section was.definitely recommend for familiar and tasty food close by to the Empire State building

    We arrived at NYC Saturday afternoon and wanted to find something close to our hotel. Black Tap was exactly what the doctor ordered. We didnt have a reservation, but they got a table cleared and sat us within minutes. The menu is to the point, and the burgers are the star! The Texan with a side of fantastic onion rings was cooked perfectly to medium, and my wife really enjoyed the kick of her Mexican with jalapeños. Sadly, we did not try a shake, but what we saw of them were works of art! The only ding would be the volume of the music, though we appreciated the 80s tracks.

    Ordered fried pickles, chicken sandwich, and Mexico burger. And a Oreo milkshake. I upgraded my fries to spicy fries. All the choices were delicious. The fried pickles were so good to start with, and they paired well with the Bronx IPA draft. Then the sandwiches showed up. Both were perfect. The burger with the pickled jalapeños hit the spot. The chicken was so good and crispy. The milk shake was unbelievable! Highly recommend this place! Great location and atmosphere.

    There wings were a delicious. They took a really long time to be served but our waiter was amazing and was super apologetic. The burgers were wonderful and perfectly cooked. We got the Texan burger and the peri peri Turkey burger. Both were delicious and the fries were great as well. Enjoyed the selection of beers. This round we didn’t get one of the crazy shakes but they looked amazing! I had one a long time ago and it was delicious!Service was a little slow but it was a busy Saturday evening so completely understandable and out server was so wonderful that we didn’t mind waiting for our food.

    Was here 3 weeks ago for my childs birthday dinner. My party was a little late for our reservations and when I called to let them know we was running late they were understanding. The food was okay and the milkshakes were really good. The service was okay. Our first server shift was over before we got our food he forgot to bring stuff we requested to the table and our new server was decent. Overall my child was happy and I would return.

    Came here recently with my friend and Hannah was an absolute star! She is friendly, attentive and just an absolutely pleasure to be around. It was our first time coming here and Hannah answered all our questions patiently and was so kind and welcoming it felt like we knew her forever! I have never experienced service this fantastic in all my life and I wish I could have her as my server everywhere I go from now on. I will definitely be returning just for how fantastic Hannah made our experience. Can’t recommend this place enough, the food and drinks were amazing but the real gem was for sure Hannah. I hope management knows how lucky they are to have someone that great. As a server I am so critical of other servers and she really blew me away. Any establishment would be so lucky to have her :).

    Tried Black Tap for the first time after walking by randomly. It was an amazing experience thanks to both the food and the service. The award-winning wagyu burger is a must try. We were unaware of the shakes being over-the-top so when the server asked if we wanted it for dessert we ignorantly said no. We very pleasantly surprised to find that our shake had an entire slice of cake on top. We had a really great time and Id recommend Black Tap as THE craft burger spot.

    We are back again to Black Tap, this place offers a great fun dining experience for burger lovers. My family and I enjoyed a delicious meal, with each burger cooked to our liking some medium some well done . The Wagyu burger, in particular, stood out for me—it was incredibly juicy and flavorful, easily one of the best. The milkshakes were a hit with everyone (super high in calories I’m sure), indulgent and beautifully presented, making for a perfect sweet treat. The atmosphere and attentive service added to the overall experience was very nice. Whether youre a local or just visiting, Black Tap is a good place to-visit for nice-tier burgers and shakes. Well definitely be back!

    We went to this location on a Friday night (with reservations!) and were seated promptly and greeted by a super friendly server. Appetizers were delicious (Brussels sprouts and mozzarella wedges were raved about.)     What a fabulous place! We arrived after a very long journey absolutely exhausted with our 3 year old and we’re just immediately ready for bed but knew we needed to eat. The receptionist at our hotel from just around the corner recommended this place to us as family friendly.It had a lovely vibey atmosphere but also really family friendly which was great! It seems like they seperate the bar (adults) and more sit down families so that’s good for others.The food was 10/10 and the service - WOW. Such a warm and friendly person looking after us! Couldn’t have asked for a better welcome to New York!Food was insanely good as well so 10/10.

    Amazing food!! So I googled milkshakes in Manhattan and this place popped up. And it didnt disappoint. Amazing appetizers, great milkshakes and one of the best chickens I ever had. Only downside was reservations, I reserved the high top accidentally and I really wanted to sit in the colorful part for my daughters birthday but it was full. I will definitely go back to this and I highly recommend it!!!

    Great burgers, delicious fried pickles and really silly shakes. The shakes are a complete novelty and aren’t even that good. My kids love to order them but don’t like to actually eat them. The burgers themselves are standard smash burgers but done well. A good fun time if you’re in the neighborhood.

    Really cool place to visit for a good burger. The vibes were great, awesome art on the walls. I ordered a milkshake before my meal which was a mistake, I should’ve gotten it for dessert. There was a whole ice cream sandwich on the side of it. I got the cookies and cream milkshake. I would definitely recommend getting one though because they are delicious and worth the hype. I got the Texan burger cooked medium. The burger was huge and cooked good. The burger was very good. I think I would switch it up next time and try something different though. The service was sub par she didn’t do much. Took 15 minutes to get to our table and got food and drink orders at the same time. We didn’t see her again after that until it was time to order dessert.

    Visited this place for one of our outtings (me and my daughters) they wanted to experience their milk shake. It was a very relaxed and chill atmosphere, we arrived at 7pm and was seated right away . (How ever at the first table we were sat at, there was a leak from the ceiling it was dripping on my daughter so they moved seats) the food was pretty good and the prices were affordable. . Hands down, the best part was the dessert 🍨 (the sweet potato fries were delicious as well). All in all, i would definitely come back.

    As our last stop in NYC Im very glad we decided on this place. We got fried mozzarella and chips and queso to split which were both great, but the main event was obviously the dessert. My wife got the Churro Choco Taco and I got the Sweet N Salty. I cant even describe how good they were. We shared them and ate as much as we could. They were messy and amazing. Delicious milkshakes. Expensive, but worth what you get. Great service too. If you wanna skip the wait, just sit at the bar.

    Hadnt been there in many years so made a reservation for yesterday. It was just as good as I remembered. My son and I each got the All-American burger. They were cooked the way we ordered and had tons of flavor. He got the regular fries while I got the sweet potato fries. We both throughly enjoyed it. Afterwards we split the New Yorker shake. It was excellent. I dont think I couldve finished one on my own. Hopefully it wont be so long between visits this time.

Though the pickle was disappointing, and the truffle mayo was heavy on the truffle, the Cali burger and sweet potato fries were delicious.     I love this place. Got there late after a concert and the vibes were just right. Sha was the person who sat us and she was so nice and lovely, even going out of her way later in the night to help us when we needed a few things. Max was our server and my girlfriend is pretty sure we our best friends now. Awesome guy, great service, he really added a memorability to the experience. The food there is next level, got the Korean bbq wings, fried pickles, Korean bbq chicken sandwich, the Champ burger, and the black out shake. We nearly had to roll ourselves out of there by the end. The entire time Max and Sha kept us company, making sure we had a great night.Thank you both for the great end to night. Definitely coming back.

Due to our real intentions, we shared a Turkey Burger and a Carolina BBQ wings between three and they were incredible too. The wagyu burger left much to be desired. Firstly the patty was under seasoned and on the dry side, despite ordering a medium rare, this might have nit been the case if the lettuce were placed at the bottom of the burger as opposed to on the side like its some $15 diner burger.For one of their over the top shakes I got the Brooklyn Blackout which is a chocolate shake with a brownie and chocolate frosting rim. The chocolate drizzling is basic nesqick by the taste, a mountain of whipped cream and delicious chocolate ice cream that is nutty in flavor like a malt.7/10 recommend. Definitely try it out

    The hype is merited. Really good burgers, mine was a bit over for my preference but my daughter and girlfriends was spot on. Their cheese fries are so intense. They really steal the show. I also had the snickers shake, just absolutely beautiful, a bit disastrous for the table because of the drippings but absolutely wonderful. This shake has an actual snickers ice cream bar in it. The snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich was probably the worst thing on it and that was a solid 7/10. Snickerdoodles are really tough to get perfect and hold there, especially mixing time/temp/humidity and then rolling it with ice cream, yeah; yeah not easy but still a honorable mention. The bill was steep for a burger place but thats the world anymore, super expensive. The staff here are really on point and attentive. They were on their a-game. The drinks were a bit....odd, their drink menu is a mog-pog of different categories. They made a painkiller frozen, which is cool but instead of tequila they used mezcal, which is super smokey and probably either an error on bartenders end or just not listed. My drink was their adaptation of a Singapore sling which tastes a bit like it had bloody Mary mix in it, which I doubt is their aim but I think a ratio was off. It does have mango chili in it to give it a kick but I dunno, I didnt get a lot of nuances of the flavors they were going for, it kind of got lost in the static really.Overall, pretty cool experience, maybe skip the cocktails and get something bottled next time I go...

Very good flavor and the fries had a little spicy kick. The pickle on the plate was basically just a wedge of cucumber with no real taste. My partner had the regular American burger and sweet potato fries which were nice and crispy. We also tried the peanut butter shake. I was sceptical but it was much better than I imagined. Overall our server seemed disinterested in our experience and was quite slow in bringing the cheque. The service was fine just could have been a bit better.     I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night with a party of 14. We were placed in the more quiet area of the restaurant and our server, Max did an amazing job attending to us. Of the 14 guests, half were kids. Max was so attentive to the kids. He conversed and listened to each of the kids orders and understood getting them settled was priority so that the parents could enjoy ourselves.     I genuinely have no complaints about this restaurant. The service was great so fast and all the food was sooo fresh!! Everything was so delicious and perfectly done. The fresh mozz was yummy, the burgers were cooked so well and the fries were perfect!!! Don’t even start about the shake 🤤🤤🤤. Definitely recommend this place!!!

    Max was an awesome server, helped us decide on which beers would fit our pallets. Also had friendly options for the misbehaving children that were in our party. I highly recommend that you come by and ask for him.

    Great food and great service from Roy! Highly recommend the Tennessee Burger and the Hot Chicken sandwich.
