    I am from our of town and enjoy trying different places when I visit. Service was kind of slow and the tables couldve been cleaner, but they seemed understaffed for a busy Saturday night. There were two servers/ bartenders working and they kept moving the whole time,were very friendly, and did their absolute best to take care of everyone. I like that they offer black and tans and they got the layers right, many places do not. I had the fish and chips and was very happy with it. The fries tasted hand cut and had a great potato flavor, the server also brought out vinegar without me asking, and the fish was a generous portion in an authentic batter. Sometimes I dont like the batter on fried fish, blaggards got it on point.

    Just nipped in for a drink, ended up staying for a few as service and atmosphere was exceptional. Music is also top notch. Highly recommend. Service from Evan was a credit to the establishment.

    We went here for happy hour and totally want to go back! Between the two of us we got 8 drinks and paid $65, which felt so cheap! And the drinks were STRONG. Also, Brandon was an awesome bartender! If you’re in the area, definitely stop by for happy hour at least.

    This was my first time here, I was invited to a party. The place was ok it was crowded due to the party. Not sure if its like this on a regular but so far it wasnt so bad. The drinks were good not to strong. The bartenders were very attentive and nice. Seems like a nice place to come to on a Friday night out.

    Really good Bar. I didnt eat here so I cant say about food.The Bar is clean and nice. Plenty of space and all kind of beer and liquor. The bartender was very nice and friendly.Must visit in NYC.

    This was a great pub we found in the midtown area of New York, lots of space inside, great atmosphere and the lady who served us couldnt have been more helpful (and if youve been to New York you cant assume they are like this). They had a great range of beers, American, international and of course Guiness!

    I absolutely loved the Corned Beef on Rye sandwich! I am not a meat person, but this one was tender and really tasty! The fries were just ok, but that sandwich was worth it! Recommended!

    I always visit this bar after work with my work friends. They have happy hour Monday through Friday until 6pm, and every Friday they have 6 bottled beers for $24, which is a great deal. The food is reasonable and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

    Wasn’t sure what to expect - But one thing was for sure we were hungry, thirsty and hot as hell from walking around Manhattan in the heat.The pub was loud , it was after 9 PM. The beers 🍻 were cold and food was good. We had Caesar salad 🥗, nachos and some quesadillas.The waiter from Costa Rico was so nice, curious and fun 🤩. He made our experience really nice.

    Lots of space for gathering for good drinks and vibes. Staff was helpful. Food a little pricy for what it’s worth but tasty. Good pub option in Midtown.

    When I went the place was not to crowded which was a very pleasant surprise for a Manhattan bar. Decent fish and chips. My friend had the Blaggards burger and he said it was good. Great service and staff. From what I could see a decent whisky selection. Standard beer options, so if youre a craft person you are going to be a bit disappointed. Other then that s really nice place.

    I’ve been a Dallas Cowboys fan for over 47 years. I’m also a huge foodie. Finding a place to watch my favorite team and that serves great comfort food in NYC is hard. Blaggard’s is the best place to watch the Cowboys. They have beer bucket specials, really good nachos, wings, chili cheese tot’s and so much more. The staff is friendly and serves food fast. Not to mention that they pass out shots for every Dallas Cowboys touchdown.

    Our table was in desperate need of repair. It would tear up your arms or clothing, the edges had come delaminated and very rough edges. The food was excellent and service was quick. I had the calamari appetizer which was OK, great flavor but it was cooked a little too long making it chewy. The truffle, spinach, goat cheese, and mushroom flat bread was perfect. Amazing blend of flavors and the ratios were just right.

    Went for a party. The drinks were $12 which was actually a great price for the size drink you get. Our bartender was exceptional. Only disappointment was they didnt serve food which sucked, I definitely drink more when I eat...thats John Taftety Bar Rescue 101 gotta have food and drinks. I think he said the kitchen was closed...at 1030pm with a bar full of incoming people...smh.

    Been there for the Superbowl it was a great atmosphere, bar was half full to be honest but the price are correct for the location (midtown). I had some chicken fingers there were good (7-8 pieces). Beer were $10. If you are looking for a great place in midtown I would not recommend that one but according to the place features its not that bad.

    A very nice pub to hit for some nice portions in lunch. Plenty of food to take away.The interior is decorated snugly, with long tables and various chairs. This place gets entirely packed on St. Pattys day and the other usual suspects.The menu is interestingly diverse. I came for lunch with a friend during Lent and got the fish and chips. The fish pieces were surprisingly large and filling. They were not overly battered and very crisp yet flaky inside. The chips were not that crispy, but they were a generous thickness and it was a good meal overall.

    Best Irish pub in the area. The staff is incredible and they have great happy hour specials for drinks and food. You could go there for a quick drink and snack or hours of conversation with the great bartenders like Mark and Simon. Awesome local spot for after work drinks with the cool crowd you can always find there.

    Had a good night with some friends. Seems theyve hired an urban promoter, because theres no way Id find myself all the way in Times Sq from Brooklyn on a Saturday night otherwise. In an Irish pub no less! Despite the expectations I had a really good time. Lots of wood on the inside, long well stocked bar.

    Nice pub with ok prices. The staff was really nice and pretty fast to serve everyone. Decent size venue. Not the biggest but cozy atmosphere and would go again. Happy to recommend to others. Didnt try the food but a friend I was with who ordered was happy with it and also fast service.

    Went with family to game night at this pub last night and we had so much fun. We were in the middle of the pub, facing the bar in two booths, which my cousin reserved for family and friends. There was seating at the bar as well naturally. A caterer was brought in to feed the folk attending the event. I didnt drink anything but water which came from a tap (no bottled water) so I am not sure what the drinks cost there. Its a nice pub overall. Those bartenders worked their butts off from what I observed. I heard the sangria was really good. They had two pitchers in our booth.My concern was security didnt pat folk down. They did check bags though.The parking was horrendous last night. After midnight you can generally park almost anywhere downtown Manhattan. Last NYPD had parking placards saying no parking Saturday or Sunday on so many lamp posts in the area of the pub where there were signs that said you could park there. A lot of the placards were on the ground or resting at the bottom of the pole or lamp post, so I feel bad for folk who didnt see the placards and had gotten their vehicles towed.The NYPD tow trucks were riding around towing peoples vehicles that didnt adhere to the placards. The placards come about when there is a special event, some construction or some filming going on.

    The GameDay experience can be improved....theres no love twds the NFL until 1 min before Dallas kickoff...Otherwise 2 TV cover the local action with the volume off and Celine Dion blaring on the speakers.That should be revisited for Sunday afternoons...

    Wanted a burger. Got a masterpiece. You know how sometimes a restaurant will claim that there is truffle in it but even a pig wouldnt get excited about it? Not this place.     I went with a group of four people. My friend and I enjoyed the Blaggard Burger, another friend opted for the chicken sandwich, and my mother had the quesadillas. Each of the four meals had excellent portion sizes, and the overall experience was delicious. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and it was fantastic. The restaurant offered plenty of seating, a pleasant atmosphere, and the food was exceptionally tasty. I highly recommend this place.

    This place is so amazing. My husband and I loved it. Its a quaint spot, not loud, not very crowded and big enough for NEW YORK CITY madness.The service here was amazing and our server was so nice and polite. We will definitely be back here.

    A nice place to get sime but really ok food and a fresh beer or two in a semi-sports cafe setting. A good oasis (ok slightly noisy sometimes but no real problem) near Bryants park. Next time in NYC we will be back a few times for sure.

    I went here for happy hour the other night with several coworkers. We were lucky enough to be served by Julia first and then Clarissa (we were there for hours) they were not only extremely friendly but also very attentive and got us all drinks at a seconds notice. My coworkers and I all had a great time. Thank you so much Julia and Clarissa for making our time there fun!!

    I hadnt been there in 14 years. The interior is basically the same minus an odd partition wall that was never needed. Its a massive space that is still inviting and well-detailed. I ordered the Irish Sausage sandwich. It was served on a fancy hot dog bun with red onion Cole slaw and pickled red onions. I thought the presentation was wonderful. It was a fantastic mix of flavors for such a seemingly simple sandwich. Bravo. The chef is the same guy from 14 years ago as well, so he must be doing something right...

    Nice place with good sound, sports games on TV and free Wi-Fi. Unfortunately the bartender is a d*** and overcharges your check thinking he would take advantage of your poor english accent... Welcome to the concrete jungle where dreams are made of I guess !

    Blaggards is a truly genuine Irish Pub.The interior is large and very spacious. They have several televisions, much of it is usually sports channels. There are many things that make a bar nice, the little trinkets here and the decorations there really do create nice visuals.The pub was quite empty when I went, of course this was about 3AM on a post Saturday night. I really liked that the music was loud, but not deafening, of course this may be after a few shots in that youll come to notice and appreciate that. The service is very good. The bartenders know what you like and will take care of you. Tip well.On any other night, Im sure this place is fantastic, but even a few hours before dawn, this pub is a great place to kick back and have a few 20s.

    Just happened upon this bar looking to grab a drink with a friend and had a great time. The bartender tommy is too funny and gave me a free glass from a brewery on Long Island just for saying that’s where I’m from. Seems like a great place to become a regular, met some guys that go everyday and the staff knows their drink orders! I didn’t have any food but it is definitely he kind of bar I would want to go back to!

    Just what you expect of a good pub - decent food, good beer, Irish staff, and plenty of seating. TVs all over for sports and whatnot. If you want a good Irish pub, this place wont disappoint.
