Amazing atmosphere and place for a quiet meeting, reading, networking event, photoshoot, and sunshine. The food was amazing I had the fig pizza.One this is that I couldn’t sit anywhere with direct sunlight because it was so hot. I think they need a light window film on the glass (just to keep heat out) because the glass house area because it was like an oven.

Im not a huge drinker so I cant speak to the quality of the choices there, and the first beer I requested turned out to be out of stock. But the staff was charming and friendly and my wife liked it. So thats good enough for me.

So despite the MID mid-town locale (nestled a block away from Grand Central) this cute little rooftop lounge is just the ticket. With both indoor and outdoor seating and a super chill “secret garden library” vibe, the drinks were good as were the nibbles. Added plus - it wasn’t loud so you can totally have a conversation and hear each other 😱. Overall, enjoyed our evening ☺️

We hosted a holiday work reception in a private room, and it was such a comfortable and accommodating experience. The food and drinks were delicious, the space was cozy, and the staff members were super friendly and helpful. The space is comfortable and polished without feeling stuffy, and its a great spot to host an event! Thank you, Bookmarks!

Real talk. While cocktails are definitely Manhattan expensive the vibe of this space is just lovely. Service was great and cocktails are delicious and unique. It has a lot of great bites for dinner but its not a place to sit down and eat a full meal if that is what you are looking for. I would definitely come back.

A very good rooftop bar with many interesting cocktails. I was here on a freezing day in January, and although there is some heating in the closed outside area it was still a bit chilly in there. Besides that the place was spot on. They have a small fireplace and comfy couches and seating. The food menu is tiny so definitely dont count on a dinner here. Atmosphere is very cozy and warm.

A great rooftop place - cozy yet spacious, outside area is a bit tight, but really popular (reservations are recommended). The drink list is pretty comprehensive, the signature cocktails are pretty good. I tried their punch - really nice, a bit too sweet, but really refreshing, Dante inferno is pretty cool, the Pulitzer is awesome. Their food is made downstairs, also really good. One special find that is an absolutely precious- try their honey! It is served on the side of a cheese board or can be ordered for $3 extra. Its totally worth $3! (Spoiler: it has a very unusual flavor)Staff is fantastic, bartenders and servers - thank you guys!

The best place for a summer drink. Went here with a close friend last summer and cannot wait to go again. Expertly crafted cocktails with an excellent view, it is the best spot for a quiet evening of conversation, cocktails and an upscale attitude. A little bit of relaxed fancy in the city

Cute little space. Intimate.Horribly boring big wine wholesaler wine list showing little imagination.But dang nabbit, the space wins over.*update* kudos for the bar replying to my review EIGHT years later.Hopefully they do choose more than one company to purchase their wine from.NY has so many great wine wholesalers - give it a shot!

My favorite after work spot in the summer. Unfortunately, everyone elses too. Great people watching, friendly crowd and servers. Small elevator takes you to the top floor. Order great drinks, and light appetizers. I usually order the ginger passion sparkling cocktail, and the artisanal cheeses, nuts and olives, and truffle popcorn as appetizers (food is enough for 6-8 people). Ive ordered the pizzas when i get the munchies, and they go before I can get a slice. LOL.

Felt really classy. Not in the dress formally kind of way, but just its a place you go to for atmosphere...books and a fireplace. Cute area with glass ceilings on the side. Despite seeming like they could be super snooty, a woman brought in an outside burrito bowl and they brought her silverware and a napkin for it.

The atmosphere at Bookmarks is unmatchable. My Fiance and I both had two drinks along with tuffle popcorn. Tj, who tended bar, was a gentleman and a scholar also made our night one to remember. I would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our Happy Hour event at Bookmarks Lounge, a cute, cozy nook in the heart of Midtown East. Clara and her team provided excellent service and the cocktails and food were simply amazing. I think Ill become a regular here!

My friend and I went for a drink and were pleasantly surprised that this place was cosy, non-dushy, not crowded at 7pm on Thursday and you actually could talk. Will definitely be back in a warmer season because their roof looks nice too. Overall no thrills but a good find in midtown for an after-work drink.

Enjoyed a Friday evening here with some friends. Never got too crowded and we had a nice quiet enough area to comfortably chat with each other. I started off with The Artist specialty sangria and then moved on to some frosé. Both were tasty, would order either again. Took away one star because of the lovely midtown prices — and there’s also only one restroom for women.

Loved this place! Been here when it was crowded and when it was empty - both times I was treated so nicely and politely by all staff. Service was always prompt, all areas are clean, and they make the effort to cross check vax vards with your ID . Cocktails are creative and the atmosphere is amazing regardless of whether you are seated by the bar or in a table. Definitely a place worth coming to.

The staff is friendly, quiet, and the view is great! I think it would be good to go when the weather is nice. And there are quite a few indoor tables as well.
