    What an amazing experience to dine with a view of Times Square! The extra $25 for the seating was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere had a great vibe, and the seating was incredibly comfortable. The service was both friendly and impressively fast—our food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was delicious. Plus, the lounges convenient location on the 8th floor of the hotel made it easy to enjoy this perfect evening.

    Stopped here to relax and get a drink….. super comfortable chairs at the small cocktail tables with long winding booths opposite the chairs that are full length to cover all the tables… beautiful decor and a wonderful view of Times Square!! Though I personally think that $21 for a simple cocktail is a bit steep….. it is in the MARRIOTT and overlooking Times Square. So if you don’t mind spending a little extra on a drink… I do recommend for the atmosphere!

    Came here for drinks and a meal at 7:30pm on a Thursday. Not many people here but the tables near the window were all taken. You definitely come here for the view- not the food. The Espresso Martini was ok and the old fashioned was good. The mushroom pizza was a bit but the tomato soup and chile salmon was mid. Our server was attentive and nice and our water glasses were never empty.

Getting our order in was quick, though the food took its sweet time arriving. But let me tell you, the flavors made the wait worthwhile.We were short on time, so we opted for bites rather than a full meal. The burger? Absolutely glorious. And the cocktails struck that perfect balance where the alcohol doesn’t hijack the taste.Now, the view – it’s a showstopper. Next time, I’d call ahead for a window seat to truly take in Times Square’s vibrant scenes; their view is unmatched.A quick tip: Parking is pricey, especially if you’re driving something big. We paid a steep $90 for our Escalade! Better to park a bit away and hop on the metro. Save those bucks for some classic ‘I Love NY’ tees.

    My husband and I were planning our wedding. We were perfectly advised and in good hands right from the start. They made us feel so special. People are often a bit nervous when it comes to their own wedding. The nervousness was taken away from us immediately and we spent the most beautiful day of our lives. We would recommend this to anyone! Really fantastic, thank you for that!

    We came to NYC on a sisters trip. One sister had never been and we were celebrating 2 birthdays. Our 1st night there we made reservations and knew we may not get the highly sought after window view. Thanks to Ermal the assistant GM we got an amazing window table with views down the street of Times Square! My sister was in awe of the view and to top it off they brought the most delicious devils food cake for their birthdays! Everything was so wonderful we decided to have our last meal there as well. The hostess Alba was so pleasant and also made our last night special with champagne! Kervin was our server and provided amazing suggestions and service. We had their signature cheesecake and all I can say is WOW!! The entire experience was stellar. Your not just another face. They remembered us from the 1st night we were there which makes you feel special. It just was the icing on the cake to end our trip. Highly Highly recommend!

    My friend came to new york for a visit from Miami. I found this restaurant from another friends social software. I immediately scheduled to bring my good friend to experience the meal. Sure enough, it didnt disappoint us. The relaxed, elegant and comfortable dining environment, delicious food and friendly service attitude can also see the beautiful scenery of Times Square outside the window, which is worth visiting again.

    My boyfriend and I were there for date night and when I tell you, it was AMAZING. From the atmosphere to the food and the servers, we 100% recommend and will definitely be going there again for dinner. Isaiah was very professional and ensured we were taken care of and had an amazing time.

    This place was nice for dinner without leaving our hotel, but the service was just so so. The food was good. We had delicious scallops and shrimp dishes. One of our table mates ordered a wood fired pizza which came out about 15 minutes later than the rest of our entrees. We had to ask other staff to find our waiter several times. There was a duo singing and they were amazing. Stop into the outdoor lounge, The Perch, to take in the beautiful views of Times Square.

    We ate here a couple times during our trip to NYC, partly because it was in our hotel and convenient for late night snacking. Each time the service was great. The main courses were decent, but a little better than what we have come to expect from most hotel restaurants. My wife ordered a Burger medium rare, it came out a little on the dry side, but still flavorful. The “NY Style” pizza was soggy, but surprised my taste buds with the first bite of the aged pepperoni. The chewy crust and flavor saved it. If you’re looking for the stereotypical NY slice, this is not it, other than being a slice of pizza in New York. However it was better than other pizzas I had during our visit. Where this place went from decent to Wow was the dessert. The chocolate ice cream Sunday with pieces of brownie was awesome. It was so good, that’s what had me going twice this trip. After the first time, I found myself thinking about it the next day. Overall I would rate the food 3 to 4, but factoring in the friendly staff, good cocktails, amazing desert, and nice scenic views to relax to, I give it a 5. Next time I’m in NYC, I’ll go back if I’m staying at the Marriott Marquise. Thanks for the good experience.

    Violeta was an exceptional host during our stay. She took great care of us every day. We flew in from the Dominican Republic with a diplomatic committee and spent five nights there. We had dinner together almost every night, and she was truly incredible. Violeta is very polite, charming, professional, and always dressed to impress. Shes the perfect person for the job.

    Love the view!! If you can get a window table, it makes for an amazing evening. Such a good view of Times Square. Drinks are super yummy but pricey which is expected for the area. We got dessert and it was ok, nothing to write home about. But a nice place for a drink and a view.

    Broadway Lounge & Terrace is so far my favorite restaurant from all I have visited during my 2021 stay in NYC. Being at Marriott Marquis this restaurant was a really convenient choice. The restaurant is very spacious, allowing to keep COVID19 protocol even when having a busy day. The inside is beautiful. I had no opportunity to see the terrace since it was closed, not sure why. The fresh air outside is a good option to prevent COVID19 spread. The view is great, Time Square and its bill boards are nicely seen from the window while enjoying a glass of wine. The nice environment, the efficient staff, and the excellent service are mainly featured. The good recommendations by the server should not be ignored, accepted instead. I ordered a very special wine after an offered sample. It was not that sweet as Moscato, either not dry which represented a really good mix. The salad was good and the New York Strip was perfectly delicious. I do highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. It could be for a family visit or a date. Prerfectly fine for both. Awesome experience.

    Nestled in the heart of Times Square on the 8th floor of the Marriott, Broadway Lounge gives you the NY restaurant trifecta of views, excellent service and ambience, and amazing food. We went there to celebrate my sisters birthday and the entire group of 10 was very pleased with the food and drinks we had, and even my sister who is a strict vegan had multiple options to choose from.

    I would like to honor a young lady that was simply delightful! She was warm, inviting, friendly, authentic, and gave new meaning to “excellence!” Violeta!!!!! She made our night and embodies the phrase “above and beyond!” This was our first time in New York and she will be a treasured part of this experience! I hope this establishment knows what it has in this employee! Truly, there are not many people that take such pride and pleasure in what they do! She represents you well!!!I also loved hearing her speak! She sounds like Celine Dion!😂…the food was amazing too!

    This place has an amazing view! The window seats require a reservation but even if you don’t get a window seat the ambiance is still pretty nice in the lounge. The food is decently priced and the service is pretty good. I would definitely come back if I stayed at this hotel again.

    We visited the Broadway Lounge every night of our recent hotel stay at the Marriott Marquis. We were welcomed by Violeta each night who greeted us with a smile and made our dining experience a very positive one. It was our first trip to NYC and Violeta made us feel welcome. She provided excellent hospitality! One of our favorite items on the menu was the New York Cheesecake which was delicious! We also enjoyed the Marriott Burger, Roasted Chicken Sandwich and the Chocolate Ice Cream Sundae which can be shared by two. The views of Times Square and the atmosphere are AMAZING! Looking forward to our next visit. We cant wait to come again!!!

    Great location, easy walking to the theatre ….but, hard to find …. once inside the New York Marriott Marquis lobby, start asking for the “Broadway lounge” on the 8th floor. Escalators and/or elevators available. We bumped into Chef Juan as he was returning to the restaurant from the lobby and he very graciously led us directly to the lounge while answering our questions about what to order. He outdid himself with our fabulous pre-theatre appetizers as we sat in a gorgeous setting by the huge windows overlooking the theatre district. Expansive and delightful setting - excellent spot for views and great dining. We loved the mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, and the shrimp basket . Will come back every time we go see Broadway shows.

    We were staying at the Marriot Marquis so we decided to try this restaurant out before heading to the Knicks game and were very happy with the experience. We made a 5:00 reservation and requested a seat by the window so we could have a great view of Times Square. We were seated promptly in at a window table and our server immediately came to bring us water. We wound up ordering the mushroom pizza, the short rib entree, and the Marriot burger (for our 8 year old) plus an order of sweet potato fries to share. All the food was delicious and even our son liked the mushroom pizza. Prices were fair for the city and service was amazing. I would absolutely eat here again especially if we stay at this Marriot again. Also the picture of the short ribs I’m adding was only 1/2 of the portion as my husband and I split it and the pizza.

    It’s a superb ambiance with great view of Times Square from 8th floor. It’s perfect for taking your family and our son was totally hooked onto it. Food as others reviews say is decent. The servers are really friendly and even offered the little one complimentary drink. We recommend it.

    Great way to end off my trip to NYC! Luckily for us we were just 2 so it was easy to find a spot in the small terrace and got to see the sunset! If you’re a group of 4+ I’d suggest going earlier in the evening around 2-3 to get a spot outside. But there’s lots of room indoors if there’s no place outside. The servers are super nice and super attentive and the wine is delicious! The Marriott is a BEAUTIFUL hotel! Everything just looks luxurious and it’s right beside time square! It can’t be beat! It’s actually the perfect spot to watch the ball drop’ I’ll totally stay here next time!

    Overall great experience. For gluten free, half of appetizers, and 75 percent of main entrees are gf. No gf markings for sandwiches or pizza. Not sure about dessert Unparalleled view. It is actually quote cool that you are only 8 stories up, it gives an immersive view. They occasionally have live music. Note, exact same menu as Revel and Rye and bar, which share the overall space. Lounge is in the window bubble area which is more view of times Square. Food is good. Makes for a fun celebration dinner.

    Great service, great food and beautiful restaurant. They accommodated our large party of twelve with short notice. The steak was delicious and the drinks were all really well made. I would come here again in the summer to enjoy the beautiful terrace.

    Really nice bar with a great view of Times Square if you sit at a table. We had drinks at the bar and some food. Our bartender, Vinnie, was about the nicest guy you would want to meet. Great service, friendly and fun to talk to. Hes a great asset to the hotel. He makes a mean drink, too. We didnt want to get too caught up in the frenzy down on the street to get a drink and something to eat, and this turned out to be a great choice. Next time I am back at the hotel, Ill head here again and hope that Vinnie is still tending bar. Thanks!Note to Valeria: Vinnie, our bartender, is a guy. Maybe I spelled his name incorrectly?     Theres a very real and immediate cool factor to riding an ultrafast elevator up 8 floors, then dining in a posh booth, looking out ceiling-to-floor glass, out to the most vibrant town square in the world.If you want that view, you should have no trouble paying a premium for very decent appetizers, etc.

    Nice spot to get away from it all. Drinks are pricey. On the other hand they offer a number of virgin fancy drinks to make the occasion feel extra special for those who are underage or prefer not to drink alcohol.Classic strong drinks. Seating can be challenging. However, if you go at an off time, you can get a great table overlooking Times Square.Tip: don’t wait for a hostess, walk around the back side and grab that open table. Otherwise someone else can snatch it first.

    They were a bit busy & our order ticket got lost in the shuffle some where from the POS system and kitchen. Our waitress (Mercedes? ) went above and beyond! Letting house manager Peter know of the long wait time before we even had to mention it to her. The Lounge staff were more than gracious & accommodating during the entire time.The Shrimp basket was perfect, steak showed signs of being rushed to make the order, which was understandable and taken care of post discovery. The salmon was also superb.

    Definitely a place you have to go if you’re going to times square! The hostess Violeta made our night from the time we walked in she greeted us immediately and sat us in the best seat in the house! Our server was extremely professional and inviting! The food was absolutely delicious and don’t even get me started on the view.     Stunning view of Times Square! The brisket pizza was tasty and a great way to start off our meal! Highly recommend the meat packing District, very juicy flat iron steak and now I know I like corn succotash!! My fiance ordered the Ryan spicy chicken and sweet potato fries which were very delicious the sauce on the chicken has an Asian flavor similar to General tso with a little added kick! We were able to reserve a window seat, and then took a walk out after we ate dinner on the Terrace which again was breathtaking. The food was very good but the views make this a magical dining experience. Miguel was the most excellent dinner host we have had yet!

    Wow! My husband and I were able to get a reservation for 830 pm on a Saturday evening. It was wonderful! We got seated right next to the window (which is not really guaranteed with or without a reservation but we were lucky to show up right on time). The view was wonderful. It’s not as high up as I imagined but for it to be the eighth floor it really is a stunning view. The lobster ravioli is so yummy and the drinks were strong. I loved the mashed potatoes and would go back when in NYC just to get the cheesecake. The raspberry syrup on it was heavenly. Anyways, the best idea was to shoot our shot for reservations and the overall experience was legendary. Would recommend to couples for a very romantic dinner with a beautiful view of all of the lights of broadway!

    We spent two nights at Marriott Marquis and both nights we went to Broadway Lounge for dinner and drinks. The food, drinks and customer service were top notch, but we were especially impressed by Violeta who greeted us the first night at the front desk. She made sure we got the best table available, happily answered all the questions we had and also helped us make a reservation for the following night. She was there the second night as well and yet again provided an exceptional service. We will definitely be back!

    Yes, its very expressive. But you dont go to a tourist spot like that to save pennies... Er... Millions. It will be crowded, but thats ok, so is ALL of Time square. Its a bar full of bartenders who know their craft with a view. Enjoy it.

    Excellent experience at the Broadway Lounge on Christmas Eve.We were very well received despite the delay we had. Our table was waiting for us.The place is spacious, has large screens to follow the matches live and large bay windows to admire Times Square. It’s incredible!!!The service is fast and respectful.The atmosphere is cozy and the sound is not too loud so you can hear yourself.As a group, or as a couple, you will enjoy the place.

    The setting is really beautiful, classy and pleasant.The view is very beautiful halfway up, both downward and clear upwards to admire Times Square at night or during the day.For us it was the night for dinner, remember to book even the same day to get a table with a view!The dishes are good, the service is great and the prices are reasonable for NY and this type of place..go there with your eyes closed, well not in front of the view 😉

    We had a great time last night. Mariah found us a window seat (crazy view) and our server Kervin was adorable and very helpful. We ate very well, it was delicious. And the prices were not too excessive for the location (Mariott) and the view. As a bonus, there was a concert by a guitarist with good music. Go for it !

    Excellent atmosphere, spectacular view. The girl who took our order was very kind, it hurts those who remove the dishes, it seems like they want you to leave as soon as possible, they are always waiting for you to finish and they take everything away. You cant have an after-dinner meal like for dessert and coffee. A shame after everything was very good.

    We wanted to do a rooftop bar on Broadway. Unfortunately the evening was booked so it was impossible for us to take photos. However, our hero and lounge manager allowed us to bypass a few tables to allow us to enjoy the view for a few moments. Hoping he sees this message, we thank him!     Difficult to find because it is nowhere indicated, ask for directions. Its on the 8th floor at the back near the giant screens.Good welcome despite our 30 minutes delay (had to find the place). The brasserie cuisine is good. It’s expensive yes, but it’s like that everywhere in New York. The waiter forgot us a little despite the reminders from the head waiter, then took a long time for us to settle it (one part in cash, the other in credit card, it was a priori very complicated, so instead from $30 tip, it went to 15).Access is via the Marriott Marquis parking lot, from W 45th street (first photo), or W 46th street (second photo), then you have to take the elevator. The name Broadway Lounge doesnt appear anywhere, its listed as Restaurant Lounge.

    Restaurant with an ideal location, simple and brasserie cuisine, but good. What is a bit of a shame (but unfortunately not their fault) is the “mall” side of the restaurant. The space being very large and housing a hotel and other restaurants, we did not necessarily have the impression of being in a more relaxed atmosphere.I still recommend this place!

    Very nice restaurant because it gives a breathtaking view of Times Square, however a little disappointed because although we had reserved 3 days in advance next to the windows we were not placed next to it.. Good for a cocktail but the species cheese/charcuterie board at $24 was a huge joke because there were three foods chasing each other on the plate...
