    Great food and super friendly staff. They clearly maintain good safety protocols (over and above what Ive seen in other restaurants). I had the grilled chicken wrap with fries. It was delicious. The flavors hit you at different times. From when you first taste it, when you chew and when you finish. Its been a while since Ive had a rating experience like that. Well done!The drink is their homemade apple cider with some rum (because, why not?). Normally, this is a cold weather drink but my server suggested that she ice it up for me.This is great service, since I would have assumed it was cold on a warm day like today.Overall, a great experience! Definitely on my list of places i need to return.

    Good tap beer sports bar for the area. The menu covers essential bar food and a good selection of burgers and sandwiches. The place is spacious and good for a large crowd. Many TVs were on for different games. The food is good with decent portions. Good place to return after work!

    Food is very good so is the service. We started with the wonton nachos with pulled pork. The pulled pork was very good, I would have preferred chips or homemade potato chips instead of the wonton chips.We had the maple bacon bourbon boneless wings and they were very good, the smell of the wings made your mouth water. Personally a little more bacon bits would have been great.My wife had the Thai chili wings which she always enjoys

    Its been a while since Ive last been here, and Ive forgotten how good it actually is. The selection of beer is Grade A, and for a bar joint, the food is pretty good as well. What sets them apart is their abundance of staff, which are really inviting. I also happened to be there on Trivia Night, which was surprisingly fun. Stop by and see for yourself. I highly recommend.

    The location was great, clean location and friendly staff. It was a beautiful day to take my family out to lunch. The food was delicious I myself thought as well as my family. They have outside sitting and indoors as well. We took the table with the open window which was the perfect weather to enjoy both elements. The only reason I am giving them a 4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ instead of five is because We ordered appetizers to be served before we received our meal but they gave it during our meal which beats the purpose of being an appetizer and the other thing was we ordered mayonnaise which in most cases you would think restaurants would just send it to you but at this one they charge this. $0.50 per container cup which we found kinda odd. But overall our experience was great!

    Good sports bar type vibe. Plenty of beers on tap. Burgers are very good. We sat at the bar and didnt have to wait on anything.Food was tasty, drinks cold. If youre in the area and hunting, give this one a visit. Good local place!

    Love the poutine with brisket! Met Randy the bartender. Asked him to simply make me a spicy drink and he got it on the spot. He was lovely. Would definitely come back. Just wish they had diverse music playing on busier nights!

    Bronx Alehouse is a BX favorite and I always enjoy coming. Today, the service was lacking big time. Their entire staff looks new so I’m not sure if they know what they’re doing. The food was good tho, minus a couple kitchen errors.

    I ordered tator tots which were great. They werent greasy or soggy and were crunchy. I also ordered boneless wings with bbq habanero and I didnt like the sauce on the wings. The atmosphere was nice and the music was good. I would recommend this place.

    Used to be a nice place for coworkers to come together for drinks and appetizers after a long week. Went recently and the food came out on time. Our table was a little close to some cars, but with the pandemic we took what we could get. It took a bit for our table to get cleared off, but our server was kind. Will return again some day.

    I visited Bronx Alehouse for an early lunch. The vibes were pretty dead and mellow. There was no one greeting so we found our own seats and then had 3 people come up to us to ask for vaccination cards which seemed like overkill. Aside from that, I had the sancocho which had great flavor but barely any broth, the small plate was packed with large pieces of chicken and much of nothing else.

    Attentive and kind, paired with yummy food and great happy hour prices! Was not too crowded which was a plus as we were having lunch after work. Thank you will be back again! Additionally had several options in preparing the food ex. Types of cheese, the way onions were prepared, meat careless. It doesnt sound like much but other places tend to get annoyed with request of customization. Also Blakes Cider Triple Jam was delicious, and I normally only drink margaritas 😊

    First place I have dined indoors since the pandemic and I must say they made me feel safe! Spacious dining area, all protocols were being followed to the letter! ( temperature and skip trace) so I was immediately satisfied with that. Now, lets get to why we are here... the Food! I had the wings 1/2 Thai chili and 1/2 Pineapple teriyaki and both flavors didnt disappoint. The wings were fried perfect with a nice crunch on the outside and still juicy after the bite. My boy had a burger and raved about it! He washed that down with their top shelf Margherita which he said was on point. I washed my wings back with Bulleit Rye (Them having the Rye git them the 5th star😆). The staff was very attentive and professional. Definitely a gem in the Riverdale area of the BX!

    The food is always great. One of the few places that has specialty beers. It can be kid friendly, but I will call you in advance checking to see see what the venue or event is going on. Brunch I must say there is always really good. During any time of the week always suggest the wings sampler. Would never be disappointed.

    Everytime i come here i have a blast, the people here are chill, the popcorn they auto give are pretty good. The food has always made me a happy person.     We first started with the fried Mac and cheese. Delicious, it was cheesy crunch and taste amazing definitely a must try. Then we ordered the turkey chiptole burger. It was great my boyfriend and I Loved it as well. It was juicy and it tasted so good. The truffle fries and the sweet potato fries was good and crunchy definitely good fries. The dessert was churros and ice cream. The churros were crunchy and the ice cream was well paired with the churros. The servers were nice and friendly. Overall great place to eat and enjoy.

    One of my favorite places in Kingsbridge. Food is always delicious and brews are always fresh. I love how the food menu is always changing and the kegs are always different yet they still have the popular items available. My suggestion is the cheddar bacon burger or the scotch bonnet sliders or the chicken sandwiches, seriously you cant go wrong on any item. Even the salads are amazing (I recommend the house dressing!) The reason I give this place 4 out of 5 is because the place has become too busy. They expanded greatly in size yet its still hard to get a seat in the main bar area. I suggest going mid week during happy hour as weekends will be nuts!

    When I used to run, this bar was my main stop after the NYC Marathon. The Alehouse Burger with a hearty draft beer is my favorite from here. They have a wide variety of burgers and countless draft beer rotation. The place is easily accessible via 1 Train at 238th and Bx9 and Bx10 bus at 238th. Id recommend you come pay them a visit and if its game day, they stream sports too, typically baseball and basketball.

    What a great place to stop when cycling into the city on the Empire State Trail. It took a while to get served, but there was a nice beer selection. A classic Dave’s Pale Ale paired nicely with the southwestern salad. Nice place to eat and relax after miles of peddling!

    This is a great bronx home bar to head to after work or enjoy the night out with friends. Everyone that works here is extremely attentive and super chill too. Ive been coming here with my pals almost twice a week, like tradition (were not alcoholics...maybe). Anyway, come here for the staff, the great craft beer selection or food. By the way, theres a cute girl here that knows about Metal Gear Solid, shes cool as fudge too.

    One of my low key spots. Me and my sister always come here to just relax and have some drinks wings. They have tons of beer in tap I don’t drink beer but I’m always making drinks to order. Wish they did have more cocktails and wine selection for the done beer drinkers but still good. The candied sweet chili wings double cooked with everything bagel fries my go to if not their burgers are pretty good as well. Check them out!

    Had a wonderful pulled pork sandwich; soft, savory, sweet. Friendly service, and a lovely drink. French fries were a bit soggy. The alehouse BBQ is a great addition to any of there dishes.

    When I say the food was good it is rare bar food is generally good and not just greasy. The nachos with brisket was delicious with all the added goodness of jalapeños and a ton of cheese. Surprisingly the jerk chicken bites was authentically slightly grilled with a bit of of kick. The blue hawaiian tasted like pure syrup but our waiter was kind and attentive. Definitely going back to eat there it can get a bit busy depending on the day and time.

    Love this place and go all the time but the last two times I’ve had not a great experience with one particular waitress/bartender. She has face tattoos not sure of her name as she is not so friendly.The first experience was my boyfriend and I went and we were seated at a table. She was our waitress but someone else had came around and asked if we wanted another round of drinks which we said yes. 5 mins later she came to ask us if we wanted another round…we said yes assuming maybe the other guy told her to check in on us. Right after that she came back seemingly reprimanding and obviously annoyed letting us know that she is our waitress and we should be ordering with her and that our drinks got submitted twice. I understood the frustration, but that wasn’t really our problem and should have been handled on the back end without letting us know.Secondly, last Saturday we went again and this time sat at the bar, we were on our first round of drinks and she replaced the bartender that was there first as it seems like she went on break. She approached my boyfriend and I and asked my boyfriend only if he wanted another drink as his drink was empty, but she did not ask me if I needed anything. I didn’t think much of this as I had a bit of my drink left and maybe she noticed so I didn’t give it a second thought.I finished my drink and I waited about 10 minutes for her to come back to the side of the bar to ask if I wanted another drink she ended up remaining at the other side of the bar fulfilling orders for tables and others at the bar, but there was this gentleman behind the bar seemingly fixing cups in which I asked him if I can get another.He said yes, and again five minutes later she came up to us and asked if we needed anything I said, “yeah I would like another margarita but I did already let the guy know” seemingly trying to correct the mistake I made last time when the order got submitted twice. She then starts to explain to me that that’s why she came over because that guy was the bar back and I shouldn’t be ordering drinks with him and I should be ordering drinks with her. As if I would know that. Again reprimanding and over explaining rudely like I did something wrong. Again…she was obviously annoyed.She proceeded to take another 15 minutes to make my drink. I understand it was busy , however I do not think the explanation was necessary is 1. And 2. If the gentleman let you know we wanted another round you could have just said “hey I heard you want another drink. What where you having so I can go make it?” Not talk to me like I know your job positions. 3. Provide better service and check in. Or 4. Quit your job if you don’t like it.

    Juicy, well seasoned, fresh tasting and big 1/2 lb cheese burgers (fries included - had the tator tots) with L&T on toasted buns. Onion rings were $2 extra, fresh, crispy and tasty. Lots of seating indoors with two separate rooms away from the bar, each with designated rest rooms plus plenty of outdoor seating as well.. Great atmosphere to watch sports and for beer enthusiasts (great selection and knowledgeable waitresses) or simply just to hang out.Only reason why Im giving them 4 stars is because it took them a while to attend to us, menus werent given nor did we have any bar code to scan (I had to go to the bar to get it), they never checked up on us (I wouldve bought another beer if they did) and I was charged $2 extra for the burgers for some reason.

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to helping you find a beverage on tap that you might like; the food is consistent and reliable; and the crowd is energetic without being rowdy.     Food was good, love the wing flavor selection and menu choices! Table service was good, even though I had to go get a drink I had ordered from the bar I attribute that to my impatience over anything. Drinks were amazing! Sleepers...I had the blueberry lemonade and it tasted exactly like the name, but I couldnt taste the moonshine...I felt it though! Id definitely go again!

    Been here several times and the food is delicious. Our first time we had a large order of wings and had different sauces. The sauces were great and the wings were cooked perfectly. They were crunchy on the outside and the sauce stuck well on the sauce. We also had the sliders which were fabulous because you get to try different types. The service was prompt and friendly and the complimentary popcorn was great. We will be coming back most definitely!

    Great ambiance and staff.The ambiance is super laid back. There is a game room in the back which was a total bonus when you are there with a few friends.     Well, my friends & I were celebrating my birthday & another friends birthday. We had Ondey as our server and he was so attentive & friendly, a very lovely person. Our food was excellent.     Food and drinks were good. Definitely recommend a good after work spot or just to chill hangout and unwind. They have trivia on Tuesday which was fun. Also the jerk ribs are everything if you can handle some spice lol. My boyfriend specifically came back here for them and took a order to go.

    Amazing place to go to. I went there to grab a quick bite to eat and had their vegan burger. I honestly did not expect it to be so delicious.     Truly on of the best experiences eating out in a long time! The beer selection was phenomenal with a focus on local brews. The food was amazing and to top it off service was spot on. I am looking forward to coming back again. As a culinary student, I most certainly approve!

    The food was very very good. I ordered the ribs, Mac and cheese and garlic Parmesan fries and I am pleased. Four stars simply because for $50 I felt the portion was a little off & I’d much rather have the food fresh than prolonged by an hour on uber eats.     I wish I had a bigger stomach so I can eat all the food from here, all of it. If you’re looking for a place to satisfy your salty gastronomic desires, then this is the place. The Gorgonzola burger with old bay fries should be illegal they’re so good. Buffalo sliders totally hit the spot when you’re not in the mood to pick at some wings.     Decent standard American fare, typical bar food but less greasy and sloppy. Travels well and the portions are fair along with the pricing. The fish tacos were a standout, crispy with a sweet salsa; very nice. Cajun fries were a tad spicy and oversalted but if shared they should be fine.

    Good wings, good burgers and a good beer selection. Electronic tap board shows you when kegs are being depleted and can be incredibly loud when the local teams are on. Overall a solid place for a good beer and a burger. They also do the occasional event- tap takeover, beer pairing menus etc. Their fries leave a little to be desired. Brunch is also good.

    Always a good time here. Food is delicious. Lots of different beers to choose from. They serve popcorn for every table. The popcorn is nice to have as your looking at the menu.     The food and drinks are pretty good. My only issue is that they charged me $.50 extra for ranch for my sweet pats to fries. Then they don’t give you straws for your drinks. So I had to pay $1 for a metal straw, that get this, was in a thick plastic wrapper that could’ve probably been made into a straw.

    Came here to try the wings! Although I still don’t understand the double cooked thing they were still good! The sauces were a tad lackluster. The garlic parm fries were to die for!     This sports bar is absolutely incredible for engaging in lively sports discussions. This place is a personal favorite of mine, thanks to the amazing variety of vegan options they offer.     One of my favorite watering holes, Bronx Ale House is one part experimentation, one part fascination. The beer menu is always changing and never disappoints. The bartenders know how to mix and present drinks which might cost three to five dollars more in the city.     Great bar, Great beer!Bronx Ale House has been on my list for months and I never had an opportunity to check it out until last night. I went with a friend last night and we both really liked the place. Its a cool spot with a neighborhood feel unlike its neighboring Buffalo Wild Wings and the other cookie cutter spots that are taking over the area. Bronx ale house had a great crowd last night. Not to mention plenty of attractive women.They have a nice selection of craft beers. The first one I tried was Bells Consecrator and WOW! This beer is delicious! So good that I just stuck with it the entire night. This place is really about the craft beer. They even serve each beer in its appropriate drink ware. This isnt some generic pub specializing in bottles of bud light.For food I had the fried pickles and the jerk chicken bites. The pickles were pretty good but the jerk chicken bites were kinda tough and not served to me hot. I had to ask them to re heat them. Food was definitely not the highlight of my visit.Despite the misstep in the food department Im giving them 4 stars. Its a fun spot with some excellent beer, a friendly attentive staff and a good crowd. Im still going to come back and try more food, I saw things that other people ordered that looked really good.

    Bronx alehouse is hands down the best taproom in the Bronx. With a great ever-changing selection of beer, delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere the Alehouse hits all of the right marks.     Bronx Ale House is a legitimately good beer pub located right in Riverdale by the 1 train. It has a nice interior that is kept a bit cleaner than a lot of hardcore beers bars, although with the prerequisite dark wood paneling. Service is very friendly, with waitresses happy to grab you samples. I didnt test their beer knowledge too much though as I had company. While I wasnt completely bowled over with the finer details, this is definitely a worthwhile temple of beer. I got the Bronx Bomber sliders and they were decent, although a bit overcooked. Fries were freshly cut, and the rest of the menu looked decent as well--perfect stuff to pair with beer. Overall beer selection include some legitimately good stuff on can and bottle--such as Hair of the Dog and Oskar Blues--but I found the tap selection to be a bit lacking. It wasnt bad mind you, just nothing stood out or seemed to be thoughtfully put together. Looking at their tap selection today, maybe I just caught it on an off day when they hadnt gotten some deliveries or something. In any event, this is the only game in town for the Bronx. I will be back because it can be convenient for me, and especially considering that it is considerable cheaper than other beer bars like this.

    The Bronx Alehouse with, without a doubt, the best beer bar in the Bronx. Located right off of Broadway, a few blocks south of Van Cortlandt Park, this bar is easy to get to by car or public tranportation.The food is your basic pubfare, prepared fresh. The buffalo wings are very good and you have a choice of four or five sauces.The selection of beer is pretty vast. Theres sixteen taps as well as a selection of cans and bottles. Staff is pretty friendly.The place does get crowded and loud a lot so be warned. Street parking can sometimes be a challenge.
