    The cocktails were delish and so were the deep fried pickles (be careful its tongue burning hot) !! So glad to be able to sit outside when the street were closed for the evening.

    A great place to hang out on weekend nights! I love going to this place to hang out with my friends. They serve a really great coctail. If you like a sweet cocktail, i’d recommend the ‘blind ambition’. I could order 4 glass in one sitting because its so great and refreshing! Also they play great music (depending on your taste). And the bartender is very kind and lovely.

    I have been coming to this bar for years because everyone that works there is beyond exceptional. I met Ronan first who made the best pickletini I’ve ever had - he also makes you feel welcome from the get! Benji is unhinged in the best way but brings the vibes and excitement!! Brian’s Sunday emo night had everyone in the bar scream singing and I wouldn’t trade it for the world after a long shift. Erin is the best Tuesday staple!! I live in Brooklyn and will come to the city on my day off to see her every time. My sister and I met Shannon and she took the best care of us even when it’s busy. She was the only server on that night but killed it!! It gets packed on the weekends but I have never had a bad bua experience!! Also, big bua bathroom mirror is an incredible mirror selfie😻 all in all my favorite neighborhood bar!

    Nice bar, great drinks and atmosphere inside. The fries with irish curry were really good. Seating is very limited inside as it is a small bar, but there is also outside seating. I would not consider this an irish pub but I liked it nonetheless.

    Came here for happy hour drinks. The service was great, they were able to seat us immediately and the drinks were delicious. I got the agave Fresca which I enjoyed but my friend got the mocha joe which I thought was especially delicious. If you love a sweet iced coffee, that’s the drink for you!

    Liked this cozy Bar on St. Marks. Chill atmosphere. Jameson was a little more expensive than some places Ive been. I didnt try the food. Service was good. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon, which works fine for me.

    Everything was pretty good… except our bartender (Brian?) kept playing “Perfect” by Simple Plan over and over again while lip synching into a shaker tin and crying softly to himself. He asked us if we wanted our espresso martinis “special” and we said sure and then proceeded to watch him drop a few tears into the tin before shaking and serving to us. It was actually pretty good. Would return.

    I came here for my bday (so we had a group of 7) They don’t do reservations but we came at around 5 on a Sunday and almost everything was free. They have nice big comfy tables. Everyone was very happy with the vibe of the place, it’s so so cozy!The food was on point, very simple menu. The cocktails were just delicious! The waiter was really attentive and had great energy!!

    I have been to this restaurant many times and it is always an amazing the time. The food is excellent and though you may find the drinks slightly overpriced, they are so worth it. Great atmosphere and lovely staff, this is a favorite of mine!

    Finished off a phenomenal night at this great location. The weather was good, so the giant windows were up and it felt like we were sitting outside. Asked for the best drink the bar tender could make and had a delightful espresso martini.

    Went there for early food and drinks with friend.The place is nice and the music wasnt too loud. The food was good, we had the chicken strips and fried cheese curds. The service was very slow.They had only one bartender on and he was making drinks for the bar and for the dining tables. While I do think the bartender was trying his best he wasnt the fastest mixer. I hope they start adjusting to the people coming back and add more staff on busy shift times.

    Cool place to check out with friends. This is a nice bar that has 2 rooms and an outside seating area. The bar itself is not very big, and the main room is rather narrow, but fun nonetheless. The back room has several tables, but be sure to get here early if you want to sit at one of them - people snag tables early and stay for quite a while. Outside is perfect for good weather and watching the hustle and bustle of the East Village. Overall, nice addition to St. Marks.

    Gem and a half - amazing service and amazing food. Wait time was 3 minutes, great outdoor dining experience, and loved the Khao Mun Gai I ordered, especially the sauces. Definitely a recommend.

    The bartender was a little stand offish, but the food and drinks were mostly delicious!!! The fried pickles were a bit on the soft breaded side, chicken tenders were really yummy, as well as the fries. Try the adult sno cone, you will regret it if you dont!!!

    Lovely setup with the outdoor heated parklets. Its hard to find somewhere for a drink sometimes with a little one and we were made to feel very welcome and sat outside, out of the way. The drinks menu is great and the service was excellent, thanks! 🍻

    This place was amazing! great ambiance and amazing food. The grilled chicken Thai Basil noodles and they were to die for, the spice level was perfect. We got sat almost immediately and the service was very quick. I recommend the Crab rangoon. Definitely would recommend and will be returning!

    Been to Bua a couple times now and feel it deserves some love in the form of a positive review. Firstly, staff are great and engaged with customers. Great happy hour which we took full advantage of and best of all, its owned by a Dubliner. Location and atmosphere are two things that I look for in a bar and this score top marks on both. Get over to Crifs for a hot dog afterwards - you wont be disappointed.

    Fantastic place. We are visiting from Utah and craving a good Thai place- this hit the spot! We had the fried won tons, Pad Se Ew, and pineapple fried rice, and massaman curry. All amazing dishes, would recommend to those who are coming here the first time. Also, my daughter loved the hanging flowers and decor. It was a great place to come and get out of the cold, and we left satisfied and very happy! Will be recommending to friends!

    Stumbled upon this place while walking around the east village and, oh man, was I in for a nice surprise! Lovely quaint spot with excellent atmosphere and detailed interior. Awesome vibes!     Stopped by this solid establishment with a friend during happy hour. Our waitress, Andee, was very pleasant and super attentive throughout the night(even after the place filled up with people).Ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was tasty and the fries were great too. Everything is well priced for the area. My only suggestion is for them to include jalapeños with their smoked and spicy margarita. It wasnt spicy enough. Had a really great time here and will definitely be returning.

    I appreciated the cocktail options they had for happy hour—the gin and tonic with lavender was really good! It’s a clean non-divey bar with good food and a cozy atmosphere. They had table service after a certain hour and until then, you order everything at the bar.

    I used to work in the kitchen, the food is delicious but they need better food presentation. This is a great place to watch sports with a nice Bua burger and a nice cold beer. Personally I recommend the bua burger and if you are a cheese lover the grill cheese sandwich it has lots of cheese. The staff is super friendly I really miss working there.

    Not what I expected. I orginally came here because I needed to use the bathroom and I hoped I would be able to stay and enjoy myself. I definitely did stay. The staff is kind and saw to it that my niece and myself were situated to get home. (Not intoxicated but uber prices were unusually high and our phone died). The service here was ppl lovely and I look forward to my next visit with them!

    Find me here on Friday’s evening. Right from work to the bar. One of the coolest bars in NYC. But can get so busy sometime that it is not that fun anymore. Cool bar. And you can sit outside and watch the street.

    Came here on a blisteringly freezing night. great cocktails and the irish bartender kept an eye and ear on the guys congregated around myself and friend and made sure to check in on us. mind you he was the only one behind the busy bar, making complex cocktails. i didnt get a chance to thank him.recommend!

    Simply the best bar in the east village. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. Definitely try the grilled cheese (with gruyere) or the burger. They source there pickles from McLures so the pickle martinis and the pickles on sandwiches are amazing.
