    Wanted to grab a quick bite and came across Cafe Nunez. Did not disappoint! My grilled chicken breast filled with vegetables was amazing! Atmosphere was great and staff was friendly, especially our server Bethania! Will be coming back.

They have an amazing bottomless brunch offer for $42.95, which gives you a 3-course meal and 90 mins of unlimited mimosas, sangrias, and frosés.

    Pro: the atmosphere is really nice, lights are on point, temperature was cool, good music mixed between Spanish and English, music level good, I was able to still talk at the table, food was really good as well and their hookah last long and hitting nicely. Also they make sure your table stays clean, big plus.Con: the food portions are not that big, kind of small and wish this place was bigger. Drinks are usually 15 and up but their buckets for 25 somewhat make up for drinks that are on the pricey side.

    I cannot stop raving and referring Cafe Nunez! I choose them to cater my niece and her husbands baby shower which had a guest list of 135 people. Cafe Nunez was amazing! The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Several guests took home more than one plate of food.We did a planning call where they helped me figure out the appropriate amount of food to order, they stayed in communication with me and responded to all of my questions.On the day of the event, they arrived on time with enough staff to set up the bar and food service. The staff was experienced professionals who handled everything and checked in during the event to make sure everything was to expectations. They were warm and engaging, courteous, and professional. I cannot thank Christian Nunez and his amazing team enough for making the day perfectly special.Thanks, Cafe Nunez!

    Cafe Nunez was a great Spanish restaurant. For the Latinos that want to just chill out, vibe out, and have a great time, this is the must be spot.Bethania was exceptional. She really went above and beyond. My boy was visiting from Texas and she made sure that we were taken care. Give her a promotion, for the amount of effort and all around best customer serving I have seen in a restaurant.Having a Spanish restaurant in the heart of Times Square is a rarity and this place needs to be cherished.

    It was an after work lounge experience and I love it ! There is different happy hour based on the day of the week. The tacos were absolutely delicious! The morir sońando drink was a hit. $25 beer buckets and music was on point. I enjoyed my experience here. Hookah available and waitresss friendly and attentive. Will go back !

    This is our second time Cafe Nunez is hosting an event for us and we dont regret it at all. The atmosphere was perfect, music and the vibe in the VIP room. The drinks (margaritas and Moscow mules) were just perfect!We will definitely go back. Thank you Karla for the great service.

    Love it here!! The food is absolutely amazing! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service? A definite 10/10! All the staff were incredibly nice and created such a positive vibe that made our dining experience even more enjoyable.Our server, Carla, was truly wonderful—so patient and kind! She took the time to help us choose our food orders and really made sure we enjoyed everything. If you come here, do yourself a favor and ask for Carla; you will not be disappointed.     Our server was Steven. His service from beginning to end was amazing. He made sure we had a great time during our mini family reunion. Claudia was the bartender, and her mimosas were on point!! We left here happy, with full bellies, and ready to dance. We will be back with friends and hope to see Steven and Claudia again.

    Visiting from out of town we were expecting to get the buffet that was “affordable” from a post I saw. When we arrived it was like club night and the prices are high (nbd). We had a good time enjoyed the vibes. Bethania was our server and she did a great job checking on us which is not usually the case when places like that have a “club/bar scene”. You usually wait a long time or get neglected. She also took the time to get our order right with the loud music and pack our food for us! ☺️

    Went for a quick lunch. You can either do All you can eat or a set price for one pound. Theres a lot to choose from. If you know Dominican and Puerto Rican dishes, youll feel familiar with the buffet offerings here. You have white rice, yellow rice, beans, oven roasted chicken, fried chicken cracklings, stew pork, fried green and yellow plantains (tostones and maduros). Theres potato salad, green salad, avocado salad, lasagna. So many things to choose from.The line was long but moved so fast you dont feel like you are standing there for long. Its informal and friendly. There is a bar area but I didnt have any thing to drink. They had some old-school merengue music playing. Theres a lot of seating. Id definitely go back here for lunch. Its affordable and good portions for the price and the location.

    The lunch specials can be a hit or miss because of the quality and quantity of my food. While the flavor of the beans, pork, side carrot salad and plantains were all very good, the quality certainly is better elsewhere. My serving of roasted pork was full of a rubbery skin and fatty parts. The quantity didn’t fill up the portioned container, the beans were so few. And the white rice wasn’t fluffy or tender.Chicken tacos: Delicious. Filled with shredded chicken. Four sauces and lime wedges.Dominican Stew Pork: Good. Stew portion feels tiny compared to the rice ratio for these portioned take out containers.

    The food was amazing. Ordered the pork chop dinner, had some of the best calamari 3ver, yuka fries and plantains. Everything was perfect. The service is very attentive.     I went for brunch, inside needs alot of work looks like its under construction, but dont let that deter you. they have the best empanadas around town. The brunch menu was really nice.     Don’t even get me started on this beautiful hidden gem. I came across this restaurant as we were walking in the city. During our visit they were running their lunchtime buffet special. Finding a buffet in New York City was unbelievable. And the fact that it was so affordable was even crazier. This Hispanic restaurant offers amazing authentic food that would be hard to find in Manhattan. My favorites were the mangú, fried fish, plantains, rice and beans, the diverse salad bar, and so much more. Even the margaritas were good. The restaurant is great for families, couples and locals. An empty stomach is recommended. There soo many things to try, you’ll need the space. I know you will enjoy the food the atmosphere and the great customer service. Have fun and don’t forget who put in the good word. 😉

    Came on a Sunday afternoon and the vibes were lit. DJ was active, and the lights were going. Food was absolutely delicious and the plating was beautiful. Unfortunately, the video is the best I can do given the lights. I got the Nunez Mofongo and my friend got the filet de sol. We also had Pina coladas and margaritas that were really well made. Will definitely be back.

    Keeping it real out here in midtownPlace is always empty in the morning when I get breakfast from there. Food is pretty good, homemade type of quality, no cheaping out on ingredients.     Shrimp Mofongo - I have to say I was a little bit upset about the wait time but when I finally got home and was able to enjoy my meal, it was well worth the wait. I got the shrimp mofongo and it was the best I ever had. I found my Friday night take home spot yall!!! Excellent! Was only going to eat half but ate the whole thing in on sitting.

    Omg first time and the best time! My friends and I had so much fun here on a Sunday night. We had great food and that Miami Vice margarita was insanely good! Great portions of food too. Liquor was perfectly portioned in the marg too. Overall spent about $50 with tip included but so worth it. Our waitress was good, we knew she was swamped and was like the only one working but she came through for us. Definitely will back again next year on our annual visit!

    Up and above.. but not beyond. The pros: our waitress was amazing, sweet, helpful, accommodating. I dined in with my boyfriend for his birthday. Great music, they even did a little surprise birthday flair . The Food .. the food was amazing.. 5 out of 5.. only con.. the photographer. I guess assumed that we wouldnt want our photos taken. And literally, went to every table except for ours, now although it didnt bother me. It does bother my man.. so yeah needs to be better for sure. Other and that would definitely go back.

    I’ve been to this place three times and never write a review which is a huge mistake on my behalf. Me and my wife come here strictly for the food, the large punch drink that we share, and to dance I. The night time. The food is amazing which I recommend getting the ceviche! There’s two large drinks but get the more expensive one because it taste good and for 4 people it will last you and your partner the night as long as you’re taking your time drinking because the contents in it will eventually sneak up on you. We go here in the night because that’s when this place turns into a club especially on a Saturday but food is still open until about 11pm which i could be wrong, call and find out. Me and my partner tell our waiter all the time to sit us in the tables closest to dance door/ bar because when we’re eating and drinking we love to dance in between the songs next to our table. Amazing place to come get good food, drinks, and dancing Spanish music. The staff in here have been friendly to us every time. 5 star recommendation

    If you’re looking for great vibes, great drinks, and just over a good time, then cafe nunez is the spot. They just finished renovating and it looks amazing. One of my boys is the Dj ( IG - djfuerte) and he always has the spot going crazy. Every song he puts on is a hit. Ive been here on dates and also brought my colleagues here and they loved it everytime. If you also love hookah then then they got you covered. Definitely go and check it out.

    Food here is always on point. Didnt really care for the frozen margaritas tasted more like a lemon slushie than alcohol. The service was meh we had to call over the waitresses several times as they seemed to attend to tables that had couples.
