    Hubs and I stopped in here for a drink around 11:10 PM. The service was AMAZING! Lorenzo is an AWESOME bartender!I used to work as a bartender, so he understood my pickiness with drinks & made me a custom Lorenzo drink! Haha it was so good! My husband and I then had a drink with whiskey in it (on their menu) and it was delish! The views are gorgeous too and it’s very spacious for a rooftop bar. Visit Lorenzo at the bar! And thank you sir for giving us top tier service!

    Decor of the place is top notch and pretty solid views on the patio deck. Prices are naturally what you’d expect but drinks were good quality. Happy hour is significantly cheaper. Main disappointment was the relatively small selection (and in particular variety) of house cocktails in the menu considering its a rooftop bar establishment

    This was such a great find. What a beautiful space with such friendly and attentive staff. All the cocktails were uniquely delicious and their food was on point. 5 stars all around. Will definitely be returning. Hope our waitress Aaliyah is still there!

    Love this place everyone who works here is super friendly and there’s a real camaraderie amongst them which I appreciate. The food was delicious. I’m a huge fan of breads & cheeses… the house made ricotta was out of this world best ricotta I ever had and the naan bread was perfect! I had a regular espresso martini they have their own espresso martini w brandy but I kept it simple (not big on brandy) Dylan is an amazing bartender! Thanks to all of you at Castell rooftop! I will be back again!

    Best deal right now is their seasonal Passion Fruit Sangria. Without a doubt, you would not be disappointed. Best value for your money. Storm was our host and he was excellent.     I believe this place is one of the fancy bars in the downtown. It is at the top of the hotel, and I could see the cities night sightseeing because it has the rooftop. The drinks were not that cheap, but they were not that expensive. It was a good place to chill, and I think it will be good if you have not been here once.

    We had a lovely experience here. The place is beautiful— inside and out. We dined outdoors, and I was very impressed that the brought a blanket for each of us. They also had a heat lamp directly next to our table, shining on us the whole time. It was probably 40 degrees but I had my coat off the whole time and was nice and warm. Wait staff were very friendly and food was good. Ambiance was amazing. A little pricey, but given its location, within reason. They let us stay talking as late as we wanted without rushing us. I’ll definitely be back!

    I came here on a solo date for my birthday. Being from Houston, and admittedly without doing much research, I walked past a sign for this establishment and made a mental note to return in the evening. When I came up, I was immediately impressed by the coziness of the ambiance especially as a rooftop bar nestled in the heart of nyc. I was sat on the patio that thankfully (as a Texan) had some nice outdoor heating. I was greeted by the loveliest server named Nick who was kind and patient with me as I asked him for recommendations. He told me one of his favorite small plates was the housemade ricotta, and Lord have mercy, it was one of my favorite dishes I’ve had since I’ve been here. He also walked me through the cocktail list and I took him up on his suggestion to add my preferred spirit to the prickly pear paloma (not pictured. The picture was a seasonal cocktail) that was the perfect combination of flavors. Although this establishment was on the 21st floor, the service provided by Nick made me feel like I was floating on the clouds. He truly was phenomenal from the moment he greeted me and made me feel welcome with his pleasant demeanor. If I lived here, I swear on everything I would come every weekend with my friends just for Nick. Thank you so much!!!

    Really great somewhat hidden gem in an otherwise wasteland of an area for good spots. The view from the roof is awesome, the decor inside is beautiful (that terrazzo! That leather!) and the cocktails are really something special. Bring a date here or some out of town guests and get ready to get some serious praise.

    The service was a litttle slow, but otherwise very kind. The atmosphere is great because it’s not that well known among tourists so you get more casual rooftop vibes. It’s also priced as any other NYC rooftop, nothing over the top. Had a good time!

    Made a reservation for a 4 pm slot for drinks and small bites before a Broadway show. It was not crowded at all since it was so early. We were prompted to show our vaccination cards right after we got off the elevator. Got the eggplant dip which came with some pita. I definitely thought it was going to be like babaganoush, but it was not as smoky. The dip was definitely on the more salty side. The staff gave us some extra pita to finish mopping up the dip after we ran out of our initial batch. Drinks were sufficiently strong. Great spot to drop by close to the theater district. I can only imagine how crowded it gets closer to dinner time, especially with such nice views of the empire state. I hope to come back in the summer to sit out in the outdoor area!

    This is the best rooftop bar in Manhattan. It’s on top of the Marriott AC hotel on 40th Street in between 7th and 8th. Stunning views, great drinks and good food too. Plenty of outdoor seating if the weathers nice and if it’s not you can sit inside by the fireplace. Perfect place for a before theater drink or you can just go up, relax and soak in the beauty NY has to offer.

    Decent place. It was raining and they only have the indoor portion. Upon arrival, they put us to the bar which is fine as we are not eating. However, we found out there sitting area is pretty empty. I would prefer for a table as it’s more comfortable.

    Castell Rooftop is a trendy rooftop in the heart of Times Square that offers views of the city, an upbeat ambience, and great food and drinks. The venue is partially enclosed with an open terrace area, and has a great view of the empire state building. Lively music is played throughout the evening but kept at a moderate volume, which allows for easy conversing. They serve light fare in substantial portions, and offer a great variety of cocktails. They have happy hour from 4 to 6 PM, Monday to Fridays, and have a Tini Tuesday special, which gets $9 martinis all night from a choice of classic, dirty, espresso, cosmopolitan and manhattan. I especially loved their prickly pear paloma cocktail.

But I really liked it!I believe I went on a happy hour & they had a great deal. Available Monday to Friday from 4-6 & it’s worth it. $12 old fashioned, come on!! Wow oh wow.     I don’t often leave reviews, but I wanted to do my part to recommend this wonderful place. I went for after-dinner drinks to celebrate my birthday with friends. The party at our table was taking a bit longer than anticipated, so there was a wait for our reservation. The staff was completely transparent, and while we waited in the beautiful lounge area, the manager brought out complimentary champagne for us as a thank you. I couldn’t believe how nice of a gesture this was! Once we were seated outside, we got to enjoy the gorgeous view and great company. I cannot wait to visit again soon. Thank you for making my night even more special!

    My experience about this place was awesome. View, coctails, service, foods and atmosphere!! We were 14 people on a Sunday for my boyfriends birthday. It was not too busy, so we hung out at the big couch area very comfortably. I made a reservation for that place but they didt said me it is guarantee on phone. I was worried about that but they gave us the place. So whole day was better than I expected. Specially couch area is very good place for group for 10-12. I will visit again of course🙌🏻

    Stopped by the other day for a drink at the bar. Unfortunately the outside area was closed but I was able to be served by the bartender Onali. She was great really made the whole experience 100% even without being able to go outside. Definitely coming back for the bar. Defiantly try the passion sangria while you’re here!

    Great rooftop! I t features a cozy indoor area, which is perfect for winter, and also a great outdoor area, perfect for the warmer months. Here you will find delicious cocktails - try Honey Im Home for a fresh and citrus flavor or the Night Cap, for a bold flavor. Plus, the food is delicious, we loved the sliders, the eggplant spread and the potatoes. Dont forget the dessert: the warm cookie with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel is a must-try!

    Came on a Friday night and wow — what a gem hidden atop an unsuspecting hotel rooftop! This spot is so cozy and classy for the absolute perfect date night.Everything is sleek, clean, and feels like a scene from a 90s NYC movie and will leave you feeling like you might be somewhere you shouldn’t - it’s that nice.     We love this place. Had enjoyed it during the Covid summer, had a wonderful catered, private party there during Omicron and went back for drinks and dinner last night with friends. Still perfect, great outdoor seating at high tops or couches, they even brought us blankets when the wind picked up! Delicious apps like a mushroom and pomegranate flatbread, pulled chicken sliders, spinach empanadas, grilled potatoes, eggplant dip,. We just ate and talked for hours... wonderful unexpected views, great place to take visitors or pre-theatre!

    Came here just for drinks and a snack with my mother in law. They have a fireplace and the place was very festive. Their view of the Empire State building is ok but we ended up getting seated on the other side. Comfortable seats and a spacious table. Got a charcuterie board, fries and hot toddys. Everything tasted good. Typical prices for midtown rooftop.

    Rooftop bar above the AC hotel. You may want to call for a reservation, but you can get in without one. Ive been there four times now, super close to work. Great place to relax with colleagues after work. Ive had Lizzie as a server three times now, and shes on the ball. Ill definitely be back again.

    Absolutely stunning rooftop bar in Midtown Manhattan with friendly staff, great drinks, amazing views, and good food options. Though the drinks are on the very expensive side, they were worth the price and the atmosphere also makes ones experience here very memorable and unique. I’d recommend this rooftop bar to anyone who enjoys a good cocktail and can appreciate beautiful interior design and views. However, if you do visit in the winter and have to sit outside, you definitely need to bundle up! Though there are outdoor heaters, they don’t work too well and you also have to share them between other tables.

    Very nice view and ambience! The drinks here are cheap during happy hour - $13 cocktails and $6 beers. It has a nice, spacious balcony and is very well decorated. They have a 90 minute time limit but if you go during the weekdays it shouldn’t be too crowded. Would come back!

    Went in winter so didnt spend much time on the terrace but had a look and it was nice. Easy to get to, just one lift. The place is a little pretentious but not overly so. The staff were respectful and nice. Atmosphere and decor is great. Music was a good selection of early 2010 bangers, not too loud, just right, could still easily talk to others. Prices are what you would expect for a NYC bar. 10 people does trigger a $500 minimum spend btw!

Then the waiter didnt show up for 10 minutes so that made me slightly nervous. The eggplant dip with pita and the zucchini flatbread was good. I would skip the chicken skewers and Tom Collins. The signature gin and tonic was good. The crispy salty potatoes were ok.

    This is a nice, small spot to overlook the city and have a very elegant experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the cocktails/mocktails were incredible.     Came here to celebrate my partners birthday.We made a reservation for a large group. All of the staff was very accommodating to us and served us quickly and with a smile. We had plenty of seating space and the rooftop was not overcrowded, which is of course rare to find in Manhattan in general.Drinks all tasted good and had a good ratio of alcohol, not too weak but not too strong.Views were pretty good, but being that youre on the 21st floor many of the surrounding buildings are taller and block out a chunk of the city from view. Still a beautiful view of the empire state building and Chrysler building though.
