Ci Siamo is likely one of the best Italian restaurants in the city, if not the best. When your dad, who typically dislikes most places, claims that this is the best pasta he has ever had, you take that seriously. The atmosphere of the restaurant complements its modern and sleek interior. It can get quite crowded, so reservations are highly recommended; however, around 9:45 PM, some tables became available.Everything about the food was perfect. From the appetizers, such as mortadella and endives, to the mains, both the pasta and the lamb were exceptional—cooked to perfection. Their selection of ice creams was impressive, featuring an amazing vegan chocolate sorbet.Overall, everything met high standards, including the service and the food. WOW, what a gem!

The wait staff were phenomenal. They were very kind and knowledgeable and made us feel very special as we celebrated our anniversary. Additionally, the food was amazing! 10/10, we would absolutely recommend.

October 2024Absolutely wonderful experience from the service to the atmosphere to the incredible food. The bread was so light and fluffy and the onion pie was an unexpected delight. The pasta was cooked perfectly, in sauces bursting with flavor. The lamb and ribeye were so juicy and tender, just melting in your mouth. No room for dessert but it all looked delicious. The bill was about $150 per person in my party, so I’m glad it was a work event not on my dime.

I recently had lunch with friends and we had a very pleasant experience at Ci Siamo. It was a bit hard to find, I walked by and totally missed the staircase leading to the restaurant.Upon entering the dining room, it was flood w/ natural light and we were thrilled that our table was right next to the expansive window! Our server was friendly w/ a sense of humor. We ordered the Cast Iron Focaccia, Salad, Delicata Squash and Bistecca Alla Fiorentina to munch on along with a bottle of bubbly. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the food and the ambience.

  • Review 5 (2024-11-15 - Rating: 5)

Ci Siamo is traditional Italian that’s breaking the rules. We absolutely loved it all- the food, the atmosphere and the small details (hello sips of wine in the elevator)! The highlight of the meal was definitely the onion tort, but the rabbit pasta and lamb were also just to die for. We also had an excellent barolo that was available by the glass. Our waiter was knowledgeable and the staff were extremely well trained. We will be back!

  • Review 6 (2024-12-28 - Rating: 5)

Probably the best Italian restaurant in NYC so far, from the entrance they received us with a mini glass of cianti. Their red sauce pasta was spectacular. Seafood salad as well. The rigatoni allá Garcia was really good but didn’t blow me away.Loved it overall!

  • Review 7 (2024-10-14 - Rating: 5)

Ci Siamo is amazing. We didn’t have a reservation and waited for 10 min maximum. Our server was wonderful. Ci Siamo staff pays attention to details. Ordered three different pasta dishes and steak. It was yummy! I recommend this place and will come back here again. Thank you!

  • Review 8 (2024-12-31 - Rating: 5)

INCREDIBLE- the pasta is fantastic. So much flavor. Best pasta I ever had. Everything on the menu is so delicious. The staff is sooo nice too! Everyone is so knowledgeable about the ingredients and menu.I could eat here everyday! 😊Try every pasta! The ice cream and gelato are fantastic and homemade. I loved the hazelnut! Also, thank you for accommodating my allergy!!

  • Review 9 (2024-10-20 - Rating: 5)

Highly recommend this spot for an amazing Italian experience. The food was absolutely incredible and the service was friendly and attentive. We were recommended an amazing wine by an in-house sommelier as well as taken care of our waiter with recommendations about food pairings and palettes. I highly recommend the focaccia and the rigatoni. Will definitely be back.

  • Review 10 (2024-12-20 - Rating: 5)

Incredible food, personalized and thoughtful hospitality, and just an all around top notch experience. Brought my parents here before Andrea Bocelli at the garden. I mentioned it was their anniversary in the booking and they had a beautiful handwritten note waiting and brought out dessert on the house. Our server was amazing too!!!!

  • Review 11 (2024-10-01 - Rating: 5)

Went to Ci Siamo for an early dinner before a Saturday show at Madison Square Garden and was wowed. The space is large, inviting, and extremely comfortable. It was so refreshing to not be cramped next to other tables, especially in NYC. Overlooking the large wood fire oven was also a treat. We ordered the caramelized onion torte and insalata verde to start and could have ordered another (or several) torte. It is divine! My friend ordered the spaghetti with sungold tomatoes and it was rich and delicious. I ordered the rigatoni with guanciale and it is a pepper-lovers dream. We shared the lemon torta, which was bright and crisp but very hard to break through. I cant wait to go back for more onion torte and to try other dishes!

  • Review 12 (2024-11-18 - Rating: 5)

Food was incredible, obsessed with the lamb and gnocco fritto. our server was super helpful with really good recommendations. also had one of the best espresso martinis in nyc! can’t wait to be back.

  • Review 13 (2024-11-07 - Rating: 4)

Worth trying, but one and done for me. Dishes have interesting flavor and texture profiles. Portions are of decent size.Bitter salad with anchovies was good, but would have benefited from a side of baguette to cut the strong taste.Trout was fine but not a fan of the bread and golden raisins used in the stuffing.Overall I felt like the dishes tried too hard.

  • Review 14 (2024-09-22 - Rating: 5)

This was a great find very close to the train station. We got in late Friday and were able to sit at the bar and have a wonderful dinner when seated at about 920pm. The staff was incredible as was the amazing food and wine. This will be on our regular rotation. The caramelized onion torta and ensalada Verde were perfect starters before we shared an amazing pasta.

  • Review 15 (2024-06-19 - Rating: 4)

Portions are generous but some dishes were too oily. The clam pasta was drenched in oil. There was easily a cup left at bottom of dish at the end. Service was a bit hauty but beautiful venue and lovely smell of the smoke from ovens the entire time.

  • Review 16 (2024-09-20 - Rating: 4)

The service was out of this world the most friendly people and on spot every second of our dinner. Drinks filled, table cleaned, smiles all around. We did encounter an over salted pasta dish but the corrected it and overly apologetic about it. Overall good experience.

  • Review 17 (2024-08-24 - Rating: 5)

First time visiting and I had a great time at Ci Siamo. The service is great and our waiter is well knowledgeable about the menu and recommends the best choices to us.The interior is warm and cozy and has a detailed touch. The view of the Empire State Building is definitely a plus. The food is delicious and well-plated.Only thing is that so many people talking so is hard to hear the conversation.

  • Review 18 (2024-10-25 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful! The salads were amazingly flavorful and delicious with just the slightest amount of dressing. The pastas were beautifully simple yet perfect. My main of Arctic Char was perfectly moist yet still somewhat flaky. My wife makes the best cheesecake Ive ever had but sorry honey, the Basque Cheese Cake was a very close second!!The portions were generous and the wine delightful. Service was perfect as well. The whole experience was excellent

  • Review 20 (2024-05-27 - Rating: 5)

I’ve been a few times. Amazing Italian restaurant. The Cast Iron Focaccia is enough for 2/3 people. Rye Ravioli was umami and tasty. Very solid food every time I come here. Highly recommend.

  • Review 21 (2024-12-25 - Rating: 5)

We had a reservation at another restaurant on Christmas Eve and when we arrived were told that they had stopped seating 30 minutes prior to our reserved confirmation. The host sent us here and THANK GOODNESS because it was more lively, had a very thoughtful kids holiday bag prepared for children, and the food was delicious even though we arrived late and with no reservation. They were able to alter menu items as needed, had great cocktails and dessert and made our Christmas Eve warm and memorable.

  • Review 22 (2024-03-06 - Rating: 5)

Where do I start? Cute restaurant that offers you wine in the elevator on the way up to the dining room floor. Service was great. Aaron was our server. He knew the menu and made a great experience even better. The chef stopped to speak with us and I complimented her on her restaurant and on her focaccia which is other worldly. We had 2 pastas, and the pork which was massive, and we enjoyed every bite. I was caught up in the moment so I didnt take pics of dessert, but the basque cheesecake was the perfect end to the perfect meal.

I loved this place. We had late breakfast so I couldn’t get more than the focaccia, the awesome mortadella and the fried oysters with fish. Their cocktails are so delicious. The place is beautiful.

  • Review 26 (2024-04-22 - Rating: 5)

I can’t sing enough praises for Ci Siamo. I’m a fan of unfussy dishes, ones that are simple on paper but allow for great skill expression by getting the tiny details right. Like Via Carota, Ci Siamo is a restaurant that cares about that last five percent, taking a dish from 95% to 100% perfect technical execution. Do not expect flashy food.Ci Siamo’s known for the Rigatoni alla Gricia. The house-made rigatoni had a supple bounce like a great udon. The crispy (but not hard) guanciale contrasting against the pungent, satin-y sauce made this dish a party in your mouth. Finish the pasta quickly as the guanciale fat congeals as it cools down. The chicken Milanese. Sure, it’s just a chicken cutlet. But boy oh boy it was the tastiest cutlet I’ve ever had. The lemon and Calabrian chili sauces allow you to mix it up from bite to bite. The Moveable Feast cocktail was perfect. It reminded me of roasted peppers, but the peppers tasted fresh and raw, as the smoke came from mezcal. Perfect sweetness, dilution, and chill. The focaccia was great though I’ve had better. The tomato conserva’d the main reason to order it.The caramelized onion torta felt like it should be an amuse bouche. I enjoyed one or two bites, but half was way too heavy. This portion was too much for two people. It should be shared between 4-6 diners. I also wish they used less cheese sauce and more caramelized onions, as the onions were properly and laboriously caramelized but all that work was drowned out by the cheese. All in all, a strong recommend. The dining room’s brightly lit and chic with a good view of Hudson Yards. It’s also at a convenient location if you plan to walk up the High Line. I can’t wait to dine here again.

Reviews are mainly about the restaurant, but I have to mention the view also. What an amazing experience is to be in the midst of stunning buildings with great company, and the Empire State at your “fingertip”Everything about this place is just right! The Onion Torta is just out of this world!Claire, the amazing bartender was spectacular. I mean, every staff member is great, but her personal touch was on point. The Ci Siamo is a must when visiting NY.

  • Review 28 (2024-05-03 - Rating: 5)

We selected this restaurant based off the reviews and they are not wrong. Definitely a must if youre in the area. We had the cast iron for focaccia bread, rigatoni and cavietelli pasta. Amazing food, wine and our server was exceptional. @Amy, you are the North Star for what great service looks like. You had such a great attitude, always had a smile on your face, very attentive, and had everything before we needed to ask. Thank you for adding to a great New York experience.

  • Review 29 (2024-11-08 - Rating: 5)

The stracci pasta was some of the best I’ve had in a while. The wine sauce it was in was amazing. The restaurant is huge but extremely nuce

  • Review 30 (2024-02-19 - Rating: 5)

What a lovely place for a long lunch with friends. The staff was amazing, very accommodating and the sommelier was one to trust! That focaccia with the tomato, Conserva is absolutely epic. I could probably eat three in a sitting myself, but that would be a travesty because I wouldn’t have room for anything else. Come with a group so you can share all of these amazing things! Yet another hit from Danny Myers’ group… Huge compliments to the chef!!

  • Review 31 (2023-07-04 - Rating: 5)

Likely the best combination of amazing service, amazing food, that Ive had in NYC. Right when you enter there is an elevator with wine inside! The service was fantastic and the food was very delicious. My favorites were the rigatoni Alla gricia, the Cavatelli Allo Scoglio, the wood fired whole trout, the beans, and the calamari. In terms of atmosphere, the whole place was beautiful and the oven where they were making the focaccia was visible to the diners; it was pretty awesome. Id certainly come back!

  • Review 32 (2022-05-05 - Rating: 5)

If I could give 10 stars I would want to still give more. This place exceeded expectations I didn’t even know I had. The focaccia was such a treat with the tomato and oil dip. We ordered braised lamb with the smoked carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, and asparagus. Everything complemented the other tremendously well. I’ve never had food this delicious in my life. The braised lamb was impeccable. So tender and perfectly seasoned. 20 out of 10 will recommend.

  • Review 33 (2024-04-06 - Rating: 5)

Came for lunch with a group of 4 and enjoyed the service/food/mocktail. Recommended dishes: Caramelized Onion Torta, Cavatelli Allo Scoglio, Wood Fired Whole Trout (if u like fish with sour flavor)

  • Review 34 (2025-01-02 - Rating: 5)

First time here . Everything was amazing . We had a carrot appetizer with Dill and feta , which was amazing . I had the braised lamb which was perfect , and the portion was reasonable . My wife had the steak which was cooked perfectly and my sister the pasta with Rabbit . All fantastic . Service was amazing . Our waitress was great, but the whole place worked as a team and would pour water or clean up as the Walked by . Atmosphere was great with a casual dress .

  • Review 35 (2023-01-03 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely fabulous Italian restaurant near Hudson Yards. Get their onion tart - the tart shell is crispy, cheese is melted on top along with well-seasoned onions. I like their pasta a lot too - freshly made, perfectly seasoned and with a great chew. Good cocktails, great service and a nice but not stuffy atmosphere.

After spending six hours on our feet at Comic Con, we were absolutely ready for a great meal! We invited our group to Ci Siamo, knowing it would be the perfect place to satisfy our hungry selves—and wow, it did not disappoint. The service was incredibly attentive, and everything from the bread, appetizers, salad, pasta, to the steak was just perfect. We cleaned up every plate—no leftovers! In fact, we even ordered seconds of the pasta because it was that good. One of our friends, who works nearby, was so impressed that he’s already suggesting his company hold a party at Ci Siamo. He knows his team would love it here too!I have to give a special shoutout to our waiter, Jonathan, for his amazing attention to detail. He noticed—without us even mentioning it—that one of our friends sons has a sweet tooth, and he made sure to bring out something special for him. That kind of care and attention is what makes the hospitality here top-notch. It reminded me of that moment in The Bear (trigger warning for those in the industry, as my husband always says) when Richie goes out of his way to get deep dish pizza for a customer who mentioned it in passing. He goes out of his way to get deep-dish pizza for a guest because they were leaving the next day and would not have a chance to try it. It’s those little moments that make you feel like youre the only guests in the restaurant and that the staff truly cares about making your experience personal.I can’t recommend Ci Siamo enough for their wonderful service and consistently making our friends feel so special. Thank you, thank you, Ci Siamo, for another unforgettable meal. We couldn’t have asked for a better end to our long day! I think we will add this to our NY Comic Con tradition.

  • Review 37 (2022-12-30 - Rating: 5)

The food surprised us, very creative and delicious. Must try 1-3 dishes of their appetizers, each of them are wonderful. I ordered Stracci with rabbit meat, and they did a good job on the rabbit of reducing the gamey smell. Love their trout, you can smell the wood fire along with the fresh trout, and I like how they stuff the greens inside. Highly recommended.

  • Review 38 (2023-03-15 - Rating: 5)

Visited here for lunch after multiple recommendations and was very happy! The service was outstanding with just the right level of attention - helpful but not overbearing. We had a couple appetizers and main courses and all were delicious - the charred beans were a standout. Chicken Milanese was perfectly crispy and not greasy, and my friend loved her ravioli. Highly recommend.

  • Review 39 (2024-12-25 - Rating: 5)

Ci Siamo is always a blast! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-notch. It’s always refreshing to see everyone working together so seamlessly. I sat at the bar for the first time. One girl was making two old-fashioneds and noticed my water was low, and that I needed another drink. So she jumped out of her way to refill my water, and her friend behind her jumped onto the service bar to finish prepping the drinks. It’s the little things like that that make NY service so top-notch. Happy Holidays everyone, and thank you for the delicious food. Also, McKayla, the Manager

  • Review 40 (2022-11-06 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful space but a little hard to find if you have never been before. Service was top notch. Space is beautiful, our seat wasn’t great as it was by the door to the kitchen, but I guess someone needs to sit there. Cocktails are great and food was spectacular. Onion tart delicious. I have no idea what spices are in the braised beans but they had so much flavor truly a must try. Salad fresh and dressed perfectly. We shared the tagliatelle, skirt steak and rabbit. All were great. Charred radicchio that came with the streak had a strong charred taste, some of us like it and some did not. Lemon torte was perfectly tart and cheesecake was airy. Budino was different than I have had but if you like chocolate this is the dessert for you. Loved the entire experience and highly recommend.

  • Review 41 (2023-07-31 - Rating: 5)

10 out of 10 for everything! The service from our waiter and the attention to details at this place is *chefs kiss* The food was super flavorful and everything was a hit. The roasted chicken was honestly the best chicken I have ever had. The salad was so simple yet so delicious we could not stop eating it. The star of the show was the focaccia. I would buy that bread every single day it I could. No wonder it’s hard to get a reservation here, this place was AMAZING.

  • Review 42 (2024-02-03 - Rating: 4)

Great food with great price during restaurant week! Food is well-cooked and seasoned, with decent size portion. Pasta is great, maybe be a little bit salty to some people. The salmon skin is crispy, and the slightly-tangy potatoes complement the fish very well. Upscale restaurant so def a good opportunity to try out during restaurant week, though the rw menu is completely different from the usual a la carte one.

  • Review 43 (2024-01-14 - Rating: 5)

I have tried a few Italian restaurants in NYC and this one is at the top of my list. When you go into the elevator you are greeted with complimentary wine to drink while you are ridding in the elevator. Then you are greeted by the host who is friendly and welcoming. They check in your coat apon arrival and then your seated.I loved how they had a wine specialist who by the way is amazing and knowledgeable about the wine and history and background of the wine and wine makers of Italy. Our waiter was friendly as well and helped us with recommendations for the appetizer, main courses and desserts. Everything he recommended to us was delicious. The way I can describe the food is amazing! With each bite we took we could taste the unique spices, ingredients and endnotes of the zets that were put into the food.Amazing! You can tell the food was prepared with love.I truly felt like I was in Italy with each bite I took and the atmosphere and decor. If your looking for an authentic Italian restaurant with good food vibes and friendly people I recommended this place.I also recommend if you want to try varietyof the options I suggest doing a family style and order a few things and share.

  • Review 44 (2024-05-19 - Rating: 5)

Wow, actually so good. I was doubtful it was worth the trip given the location and so many good Italian options in NY, but it proved me wrong! Its a big restaurant + hard to get to so reservations and walk-ins are a little easier than other top Italian spots in the city.My partner described the rigatoni as perfect, and my friend described the restaurant as 95% to I Sodi but much easier to get in so worth the trade offAll the food was memorably good. I thought our order was perfect for 2 people! Focaccia and escarole salad to start. Rigatoni, thats their most famous (and i see why) and the skirt steak. Didnt have room for dessert!Restaurant is vibey but not too dark and not too loud.

  • Review 45 (2024-04-21 - Rating: 5)

You will be pleasantly rewarded if you can find the place and journey up their stairs. The smashed potatoes were to die for, and the pasta didnt disappoint either. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and led us to great recommendations. The help desk was also accommodating and allowed me to reschedule my reservation when scheduling issues arose. The atmosphere and decor were great, but the tables were a little too close for my liking, causing my girlfriend and I to get the intimate details of our neighbors evening plans. Go for a booth if possible unless you like dinner and a show.

  • Review 46 (2024-04-21 - Rating: 5)

Top notch brunch dining experience. The food was excellent, and the staff all super friendly. Lovely open concept ambiance where you can see right into the kitchen. Will definitely be back!

  • Review 47 (2024-10-03 - Rating: 5)

Love this place! Will be back! For anyone else visually impiared, the staff were extremely helpful without causing discomfort. Please note that the entrance sign is hard to see so ask if you are not sure where the restaurant is. The elevator up had wine for people to try - an inviting touch. We ate at the lounge level. This level felt casual and relzed. The chairs we had were extremely comfortable; I find many chair uncomfortable so this means a lot to me. The window view was nice and made it feel even more open. Food is delicious - definitely try the desserts. Extensive wine selection. The bartender will try to make you cocktails based on the ingredients you like and substitute when not available. The hallways to the restroom are well lit and the restroom itself was well lit. The staff member who showed me the way was fantastic - offering the amount of help I wanted and guiding on things like where the door handle was using verbal cues - perfect. We will be back again, and not just cause Peloton has in person classes nearby. I would be happy to have my NYU backed disability AI startup map this restaruant so that users of our wayfinding / navigation app can support this restaurant.

The meal we shared here was exquisite! Highly recommend exploring their menu and trying anything that pulls you- you really can’t go wrong. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully constructed, you can tell they put forth a massive amount of attention to the design of the space. Really friendly (and funny) waitstaff which added to the whole experience- can’t wait to return soon!

  • Review 50 (2022-04-10 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food! The starters were the best part. Anchovy white pizza was great! Salty and bright. The seafood salad was amazing - big chunks and fresh. Seafood salad was my favorite. The pork Milanese was also very very good … you could get that a lot of places though including the various entrees : steak and fish … I didn’t try the pasta. But all the various starters looks the best even from fellow patrons! Friendly staff, felt some were still in training. No complaints.

  • Review 51 (2023-09-01 - Rating: 5)

Typically Im not visit same restaurant in short time, but this definitely a place I am happy to meet friend and enjoy the food.Highly recommended the whole fish (Ci siamo has a great wood grill) and pasta. The dessert was very impressive, we love the cheese cake! Plus, the they do have a good cocktand wine list.I have been this place in lunch time and dinner time before, the noise level at night is away higher than noon.

  • Review 52 (2024-09-29 - Rating: 5)

Probably me and my wife’s favorite dinner experience here in nyc. Both the food and the service was incredible. The restaurant feels magical. A truly special restaurant.

  • Review 53 (2024-06-09 - Rating: 4)

Service was great, very nice and efficient.Atmosphere was too loud inside. Toilet were clean.Food was good - pizza bianca disappointed, too small, and anshovi too salty, and nothing special about it. Caramelized Onion Torta was amazing, the onions were like almost jelly, the cheese balanced the sweetness, very good dish. Whole trout was great, especially with the spicy sauce provided on the side, it comes deboned which is great.Desserts came in big portions which is great - lemon tort is great, very sour and sweet, just how you expect. Basque cheesecake was also good, less sweet.

  • Review 54 (2023-03-18 - Rating: 5)

There were 4 of us and we split everything. The onion torte was incredible! The steak was also a highlight and even though I would not normally rave about steak, this entree was exceptional. The chocolate budino with an espresso martini is a must!! I will tell everyone I know to come here, it was such a great experience. Also, the service and host staff were very kind and accommodating.

A beautiful restaurant- the staffs are so amazing! My family went to the restaurant for dad’s birthday dinner. We arrived early- and the table was ready! They handed my dad a hand written birthday card in Korean! And we didn’t even mention that we were Korean! It was so sweet of them. The food was all amazing. Focaccia is MUST! The bread is so light and chewy!! It was delicious! I wanted to order more but I stopped because I had to save room for the main course.Pastas were all good! The little Almond cookies were delicious too!!!I asked if they were selling the almond cookies and unfortunately they weren’t selling them. But they packed me a box of cookies to take home! All these details were like a Michelin stars restaurant! The food- service- decor interior, all amazing!

Staff 👨‍🍳 is very welcoming and friendly, and the service is super professional! This spot is incredibly decorated 🛋️ with a large dining area that includes an open kitchen! 🔪 Ambience 🎶 is fantastic! I wish I came here more often!

A midday lunch at Ci Siamo is just what we needed to complete a work trip. I had a mocktail as my drink, the tonio. Absolutely delicious is what it was. For appetizers, we shared various plates. My favorite was the carmelized onion torta. It was full of flavor and had the right amount of onion. My main dish was Tagliatelle and it was packed with flavor alongside the fresh pasta. It had a great kick afterwards from the buffalo butter, but it was not overpowering. For dessert, the table shared various desserts to taste them all. My favorite was the hazelnut gelato and chocolate budino. This hidden gem was delicious and had the greatest eye catching design for anyone to enjoy! Overall, we had amazing food and service!

TLDR: Spectacular ambiance, service couldnt be friendlier and more attentive. The food is out of this world: a simple menu at first look but expect superior ingredients and flavor plus the portions are guaranteed to leave your belt a little tighter (as an Italian meal should feel). Youll pay a premium but will most certainly get an outstanding experienceWhen you enter you see the ambiance inside is spectacular. The elegance doesnt come out as elitist, its warm, casual, fun, and inviting with beautiful windows overlooking the city. Theres also a balcony that must be amazing in good weather. The open kitchen is always an attraction and so is the oven where the breads come from. Its very nice to come for special occasions or with a group because its a huge dinning room. The service is extremely professional, friendly and even though the kitchen had a mishap and one of the courses got extremely delayed they apologized profusely and offered us an amazing side dish as a sorry. (Yeah, were only human, mistakes happen and the way the restaurant deals with it is way more important to me).The menu is simple, doing the basics right, but everything is nicely presented and tastes amazing. The magic is that through that simplicity, you can taste the finest ingredients. In a regular Italian someone might just throw bacon on pasta alla gricia, not here, youll find real guanciale.Prepare to be blown away with deliciousness, the food is the main attraction. Portions are suitable for a substantial meal. Its hard to highlight dishes with so much deliciousness but:- The focaccia is delicious, fluffy, and comes with an amazing tomato compote.- Onion torta is decadent, and flavorful, a mixture of caramelized onions with creaminess that melts in your mouth- Rigatoni alla gricia cooked al dente with a perfect balance of creamy cheesy sauce with the saltiness and crispiness of the guanciale, the amount of pepper is just perfect.- The pork Milanese is the simplest dish, but fried to perfection, seasoned beautifully, and just thin enough. A perfect example of how the basic done right doesnt need a lot of window dressing.- Smashed potatoes are the best way to highlight the creaminess of the inside of the potato with the crispy bits on the outside, better than any french fry or roasted potato could ever be and the yogurt sauce is to die for.- Roasted squash I did not expect it to be so good, dont sleep on thatTrendy place, sometimes hard to book but It exceeded my expectations. From start to finish the experience at this restaurant was nothing short of remarkable. The place is pricey but a great value for the quality of food, service, and experience.

My husband and I hosted an our wedding reception space of Ci Siamo and it was absolutely PERFECT! The classic and chic ambiance, the friendly and communicative staff, and the delicious Italian food made our experience so fabulous! It was truly the best night ever, made possible by the incredible people who work at Ci Siamo, they are so kind and accommodating. It is a restaurant that is truly authentic in its gratitude and respect towards its guests. The experience was so fairly priced for the amazing food and space.Whether you are going to dine in the restaurant or intending to host a party in their reception space, we highly recommend!

The food coming out of the Ci Siamo kitchen is so delicious, comforting, and exciting! And theyve only been open for a short time too. All of the breads are incredible. The pastas are perfect. And the grilled and roasted meat and veg are all fantastic! Another great spot to bring lots of people to share everything.

Came into New York late last night after a 4hr train ride from Boston and had dinner at Ci Siamo. Chef Hillary Sterlings food is fantastic. The caramelized onion torta and smoked trout is fantastic! finished in the wood-burning oven. The grab pasta also hit all the right spots. Definitely worth a visit when you are in New York. 👍🏻

Loved Ci Siamo. May be my favorite Italian place so far in the city. The starters were amazing, especially the caramelized onion torta, the focaccia, and the calamari. The mains were incredible too. My party and I especially enjoyed the pastas over the meat/fish entree. Highly recommend the rigatoni alla gricia and the cavatelli allo scoglio. The portions were perfect and the flavors were nicely paired. The ambiance was great too, with free wine in the elevator and lounge area to sit in while waiting for your table to be ready. The staff were also incredibly attentive, clearing/replacing plates and cleaning the table whenever necessary. I would definitely come here again and suggest this place to everybody!

Beautiful restaurant in a cool location. I had high hopes for this place. As others have mentioned, the food was very salty (and I never say that). We got the onion torta, pasta, potatoes, lamb and fish. By far my favorite thing was dessert - the dark chocolate sorbet - must try!

  • Review 67 (2023-09-25 - Rating: 5)

Excellent Italian food, mostly intended for sharing, as the portions are large and, if you are like me, youll want to try everything on the menu. The entrees are cooked in the firewood oven, but because I went solo and the portion sizes being so large, I didnt try any entrees this time. The appetizers were solid, and the pasta with guanciale was just amazing.Service was great, until it got busy and I had to wait 10-15 minutes to be able to pay.The space is great, vast, and the open kitchen and fire add to the atmosphere. The rest of the decor was done before.

I came here for my bday dinner - it was fabulous. The vibe, the atmosphere of the restaurant and most importantly, I had a phenomenal server. I cant remember her name, but she was tall, and had overlapping colorful clips in her hair if anyone in management reads this. She was very sweet, attentive, anticipated our every need and greeted us with a warm, and genuine presence every time she came to the table. We also had a great sommelier who came by and recommended a dessert wine to go with my chocolate bubino and my sisters lemon torta. I had an incredible experience from start to finish and will definitely be coming here in the future and will recommend Ci Siamo to any friends who are in need of some good Italian food. Arrivederci!

Wow, wow, wow! I was extremely impressed with the dishes at Ci Siamo. Lovely atmosphere and great service, we sat at the bar and the experience was top notch. There are many great Italian restaurants in the city, but this is not one to skip. Each dish was balanced, flavorful yet delicate — with a real craft for showcasing quality ingredients. The caramelized onion tart was truly incredible and unlike anything I’ve tasted before.

Fantastic dinner experience at Ci Siamo. The vibe is immaculate and the food is incredible. Not often am I compelled to savor every bite but I did with everything I ate here. We made reservations and still had a to wait a bit after our seating time, however, an apology was provided with complimentary Prosecco. The service was hospitable and on point. Several staff would come by to refresh our water and reset our dining table.Would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to return.

IL MIGLIORE!!! ci siamo is undoubtedly one of the best experiences particularly in their private dining room, with its awe inspiring terrace and its majestic view of the Empire State Building! ci siamo fires on all cylinders with impeccable, discreetly genuine and warm service. A mixologist that was truly welcoming, pouring amazing craft cocktails and even turn of the century recipes. The room is refined, subtle and airy with the cityscape as its decor highlight yet eclipsed by the most delectable dishes! Presentation, flavor and temperature with family style service was truly a 5 Star experience! After all … an elevator with complimentary wine upon arrival and departure! What’s better than that!?!?!? Bellísimo!!!!

Delicious Italian food and a decent menu, choices but not to many. This is located by the post office on 34th and pretty swanky. Great views and service, but noise is pretty loud as there isnt much to absorb sound. We got foccicia, roasted peppers, and pasta. All was amazing and super fresh.

Had a great time at ci siamo (pronounced chi-seeamo)! Everything was well executed, though i was disappointed not to have the braised lamb dish as its dinner only. The onion torta made up for it though, taste like a french onion soup pie. Pretty good drinks too! Its a bright, airy restaurant with a ton of space and a beautiful bar. Service could be better but to be fair it was busy. Gotta come back for that lamb!

  • Review 76 (2023-02-27 - Rating: 5)

Ci Siamo exists within a realm of cuisine Id describe as comfort perfected. Every dish reached their own pinnacle of what I would describe as reaching as close to perfection as the dish would allow. From the moment we walked in the service was impeccable. My reservation note I wrote a month ago had a simple inquiry on birthday options for my partners 28th, and with no further correspondence they had menus custom printed with a congratulations, a welcome birthday card, and a message written on our dessert. The focaccia, Brussels sprouts, and our respective pasta dishes were impeccable. The rabbit dish especially stood out to me as divine.I am eager to return to Ci Siamo and I will be bringing new friends to experience it for the first time.

  • Review 77 (2023-05-04 - Rating: 5)

What a fantastic experience we had for dinner! First shoutout goes to our waiter, Ryan. He was attentive, informative and friendly! The suggestions were on point and what we wanted.Kicking it off with the focaccia bread- it was light airy and a delicious complement to keep around for the rest of the meal. Not pictured was the insalata verde, was a tasty starter to the main events. The day we were there they ran a steak special, in line with the one on the menu, just sized down so a normal person could attempt to eat it themselves. Was it too much for one? Probably but I made a good attempt at finishing it. The star in my opinion was the past. The rigatoni with guancaile was amazing. Thankfully we had some focaccia to soak up the rest.Finished up with the most pistachio, pistachio gelato ever. Great dinner, great experience. Would definitely head back.

We went here for our wedding anniversary on a recommendation from a friend. The decor and atmosphere was very pleasant. Our server, Matthew, was friendly and guided us very well through the menu. The cocktails we drank were the Moveable Feast and Sunday Service. Very unique drinks and just the right balance of sweetness. We started with the pizzette which was fluffy, garlicky and delicious. Next we had the caramelized onion torta, amazing! This is one you cannot skip. The sommelier, also friendly, helped us to select a great bottle of wine. With that, we shared the insalata verde which has a great dressing. The ravioli was next and we enjoyed that immensely. Finally we had pork milanese and certainly ate more of that than we thought we had room for. For dessert we ordered the lemon torta which was so creamy and delicious. We had an amazing experience. Thank you Matthew!

The ambiance is amazing in this modern space within the Manhattan West complex. The pasta is a must, the portions are just right and the prices are affordable for a new spot, cocktails and drinks are pricey (beers start at $11, cocktails at $16). Id recommend ordering different plates and sharing with others, thats how you get value here. The service was ok but not great for a high-end place. Its a good choice if you want Italian food in the Hudson Yards area, check for reservations since it tends to get packed.

  • Review 81 (2024-01-02 - Rating: 4)

Rigatoni was extremely creamy and heavy, it was delicious but will put you to sleep right after.Onion tart was good but tasted like an Alfredo onions tart so of course it was delicious as well. But also very heavy.Chicken was ok, much lighter than the rest.Greatest waiter though and very fun restaurant, very nice atmosphere.

We order some appetizers including the Gnocchi Frito, Cast Iron Focaccia and others they were all delicious and the pasta was 10/10 ! All the staff was very friendly and our server Aaron R was very nice and helpful with his recommendations. We will definitely be going back to try more dishes.

Terrific afternoon at Ci Siamo. Five star food and service, and a special shout out to Devin, the incredibly knowledgeable and fun sommelier on the terrace today. An Italian wine lovers dream! Melt in your mouth prosciutto and gnocco fritto, rigatoni gricia transports you to Rome with its silkiness, cracked black peppercorn and perfectly crisped guanciale. Cant wait to return.

Chef Danny Meyer’s new Hudson Yards venture is surely one of New York’s best Italian restaurants. The caramelized onion torta is to die for, reminding you of a French onion soup quiche, and it’s worth all the hype. Also loved the comforting pasta (great hangover cure) and the spectacular branzino. Plus, the place itself is beautiful!

PHENOMENAL!!!!! 10s ACROSS the BOARD! From the Hosts Jesse & Team, our SPECTACULAR Waitperson AARON (if you dont get him, request him!), to the Floor Manager Gabriella & the Everyday Superstar Chef Hilary Sterling (Brooklyns own), ALL provided AMAZING Service! Now onto the mind-blowing deliciousness...MUSTS are the Gnocco Fritto, which is a large homemade, puffy, cheesy Cheez-it; you get two. Theyre rich, nutty, bold, light and divine. Then, the piece-de-resistance, THEE Onion Tart! A luxurious flaky crusted, creamy & unctuous bed of Emmental-style melted cheese, which is the bed for a sweet, caramelized block of sliced, what tastes like Vidalias. It is ASTOUNDING and baked with a Roasted crusted top!We had slivers of, if you can imagine, pillowy, creamy, salty Mortadella. They were sensational. For Entrees we had the seared Lamb dish, that was savory braised lamb molded and seared, topped with a raw Parmesan Brussel Sprout salad, Delish! If theres a MUST GET Entree it is the succulent housemade Rigatoni. Its bathed in Guanciole Lardons. Its simple but packs a powerful punch of black pepper, what tasted like a mix of Pecorino and/or Parmesan. It was VERY RICH and we could only eat a tad. It reheated decently but was just as delicious cold! The TRUE mark of a great dish.No room for dessert. The Wine By The Glass has stunning selections, as does the full wine list. Usually its lower-end selections, not here. You really get premium choicea. We actually bought the Ponson. It was strongly effervescent, crisp, clean, extra dry without choking and the perfect partner to our dishes.Yes, its hard to get a Res but its doable. Overheard them say, they open for 80-100 Walk-ins daily. They also have lunch hours, which may be easier.Glad they focus on a few dishes which are masterfully done WELL!This place receives our standing ovation!!!!!

Get the beans! Get the beans! Best beans I’ve ever had. The crab cavatelli was heaven too. And get the mezcal, tequila, red pepper cocktail. It was perfectly smoky and balanced.Everything else was excellent - rabbit stracci, hazelnut gelato, pizza bianca- all fantastic.

This place is legit one of my top 5 favorite Italian restaurants in NYC! It’s really hard to get a reservation on the weekend here but given how big the place is, I wonder it’s because they keep some tables for walk-ins… anyway, setup a lot of resy notifications. We got ours same day for a slightly late Sunday dinner.Let’s get to the food, this place really blew my mind off. Their wine selection is fantastic and the sommelier will give you recommendations based on your preferences. We got the frappato and it was incredible!- 10/10 the onion tart with caramelized onions and cheese was highly recommended and did not disappoint!- 7/10 gnoccho fritto - this was super delicious but frankly nothing to look here. Something about fried pasta screams Olive Garden to me (may be just me).- 20/10 cacio Pepe (off menu, it’s essentially the RIGATONI ALLA GRICIA without meat). Something about rigatoni made cacio e Pepe style was AMAZING! Perfect Al dente texture. Extra points for making it off the menu. I might even suggest the restaurant add it to the menu!- 15/10 TAGLIATELLE - I’m usually not a fan of tomato based pasta dishes and this one was incredible. From the texture of the pasta to the flavors, this was perfection. It might be my second favorite in the city begins La Devozione! We were too full to order dessert but the almond cookies were incredible!

  • Review 91 (2022-10-01 - Rating: 5)

I’ve been here a few times now and feel confident saying you will love this place. The menu is delightfully creative in delivering great Italian fare. Whether it’s the pastas, out of this world potatoes or the sublime gnocco fritto and caramalized onion tort…it’s consistently excellent. And what we all appreciate are waiters who really know the menu well and recommend the right dishes. Even desserts.

  • Review 92 (2022-03-16 - Rating: 5)

Ive longed to say no idea whats in that dressing, but it thrills me senseless, since Olivia Newton John wore those black leggings. The rest of the meal was top shelf, though the veggies were not at the same level as the stars of the show. The waitress dealt with our triple backflip pike degree of difficulty like a champion, and the cocktails would turn a pitcher into a vessel of divinity. Its cas or formal, depending on your penchant, and worth finding for the salad alone. But go deeper for even more reasons to smile.

I had high hopes for Ci Siamo given the hype and my love for Italian food, but I was not really blown away by the dishes here. However, its a nice restaurant ambiance wise with good service.Below is what we ordered:- Focaccia - this was probably the part of the meal I enjoyed the most. Warm delicious bread!- Little neck clams & roasted mushrooms - was okay - nothing extraordinary- Lobster cavatelli - too much tomato sauce and the lobster tasted fishy and dry. Not a fan.- Rigatoni - pepper & guanciale - how could you go wrong? Nice but I think it needed just a bit more flavor and the rigatoni was a bit too chewy.- Stracci - found the thyme too overwhelming in this dish- Lamb - I believe it was the lamb we ordered and it was overcookedMaybe an off night so will give Ci Siamo another shot if Im in the Hudson Yards area.

  • Review 95 (2024-04-30 - Rating: 5)

In a Hudson Yards neighborhood that is still trying to define what it is going to be, Ci Siamo has planted its flag as a must visit dining destination. After taking a short elevator ride up, you are welcomed by a vast stylish dining room and the aroma of a wood burning oven. The menu is a fresh take on a wide range of Italian dishes. While I am sure that you cant go wrong with any selection of pasta or pizzas, the rigatoni and Gnocchi Fritto were two personal favorites.Ci Siamo is a restaurant for virtually any occasion. Reservations for dinner are highly recommended but lunch is a bit more flexible.

Nyc makes you have very high standards for italian spots... ci siamo certainly meets these standards. the caramelized onion torta was delicious, and the drinks were stellar. the pasta i was slightly less impressed by... mostly the white truffle pasta. if you get the white truffle pasta, you dont get truffle added to an existing pasta- instead you get a pretty plain cream-based pasta with truffle. we were hoping to have it added on to the cavetelli... i think that dish was the biggest let down. otherwise, i think the overall quality and service is very high. we loved our waiter, and felt like the hospitality we experienced was exceptional.

Came here for lunch. The appetizers were delicious. The seafood salad was spot on, the mortadella was delicious. The wood trout was 👌🏼. Not sure if it was an off day or their way of cooking but the cavatelli was WAYYY too salty. The staff replaced the dish with the tagliatelle with tomato butter. Really interesting combination but I wouldve preferred plain butter instead. Next time, Id probably go for the Stracci instead.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ci Siamo, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. The food was exquisite, with each dish crafted to perfection, bursting with flavors especially the trout, tagliatelle, and rigatoni alla gricia. And the view—oh, the view! We had a table gazing out at the Empire State Building which was truly breathtaking. What made the night even more special was how the entire team, from the manager to our waiter (Savannah), went above and beyond to help orchestrate a surprise for my in-laws. We were announcing the incredible news of my wife’s pregnancy, and their support turned the moment into something well cherish forever. The staff coordinated everything flawlessly, adding thoughtful touches that made the announcement unforgettable.Ci Siamo didn’t just provide us with a meal; they created a lifelong memory for our family. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking to experience not just a dinner but a moment that will stay with them forever.

Highly recommend eating here! Everything was delicious, from the drinks to the food. Its a great spot to grab dinner after work with friends. It does get hectic, so youll want to make reservations ahead of time.

  • Review 117 (2022-06-26 - Rating: 5)

One of if not the best Italian restaurant in NYC. Everything was so so good and perfectly executed. I prefer to go for lunch since they have a tomato dish called casarecce.

  • Review 118 (2024-09-21 - Rating: 5)

The appetizer (gnocchi fritto) was perfect. The lamb entree was good (maybe not great) but the coffee was amazing and our server Sirene was a delight. I would definitely come back again from Jersey City just to have that coffee again.

Very good spot - great Italian foodThey have lots of gluten free and vegetarian optionsFood was delicious, service was greatPlace can get busy so make sure you get reservations in advance even during the weekPlace is bigger than you think as well, you go up stairs and they have lots of table options and a barThe area is very nice, Hudson yards has really been built up

  • Review 120 (2024-08-11 - Rating: 4)

This is one of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. This place is relatively new, near Hudson Yard, and serves a number of Italian fares with its open kitchen and oven. The steak Florentine is very good. Many of the bread type dishes are cooked, or baked, in the open oven and are good. The staff is friendly and the decorations and design are modern. Overall, we had a good experience here.

  • Review 121 (2022-09-12 - Rating: 5)

Their menu description is exactly what our meal tastes like. We ordered a bunch of popular items- the tagliatelle was so buttery and don’t even get me started with the Caramelized Onion Torta appetizer! I came with my girlfriend for our 2nd Anniversary and I know I will be back for more dinners!

  • Review 122 (2024-09-25 - Rating: 5)

Ci Siamo was a nice surprise. We were greeted warmly and seated at a cozy table with good views. Our server was very helpful with recommendations. The onion torta, crab cavatelli, and focaccia were all tasty. We had a pleasant evening and will likely return.

Food was excellent, great wine list. Beautiful place. The free wine in the elevator was a fun touch. Excellent hospitality, just like all of Union Square Hospitality Group restaurants.

Solid spot for Italian fare - the agnolotti is incredible and the smoked carrots is delicious. Service is quite good (though it took us a while to get the bill) and the decor is nice.

  • Review 130 (2024-07-28 - Rating: 5)

Worth a pilgrimage for the food and ambiance, and well come back, even with our three-year-old in tow :)We had the focaccia, lamb, and cavatelli, and we cleaned our plates! No complaints about our drinks or dessert either. Service was attentive and pleasant, but not speedy.Tip: Google Maps wont give you great walking directions -- just get on the High Line and walk to the north end of it into the plaza where the restaurant is.

  • Review 131 (2024-08-13 - Rating: 5)

If I could have given 10 stars, I would have. This form needs more stars for the awesome stars at Ci Siamo that made our dining experience for a birthday celebration so special, from beginning to end. Right when we step off the elevator Amit & Nick were so welcoming. They let us know our table was not ready yet and to enjoy a drink at the bar. At the bar we had a great time with Edda, Stef and Kat they help us start off the night with the right drinks, made to perfection. When the table was ready we were greeted by so many people we felt right at home. The table was in the perfect spot, got to see all the action happening around all in Ci Siamo. Although we were seated within all the action everyone made us felt like VIPs and like we were the only ones there in the restaurant. EVERYONE was so attentive and making sure everything was top notch. Our server Jonathan was AMAZING. He was so caring and thoughtful. It was like he could read our minds, before we asked, he knew what we wanted. He really made us feel special on such a special occasion. He even took such care in packing our leftovers, which we really enjoyed for lunch today. We had the menu ready in our minds what we wanted to order and everything tasted just as amazing as we thought it would. Even it was just the two of us we order enough to feed a family of 4 happily. Almost 3/4 through our meal before the pièce de résistance Bistecca alla Fiorentina, John saw we were struggling and needed to open our appetite a bit more and suggested amaros which was what we needed at the time. I could not find anything wrong with what we had each plate was perfection. I am still thinking about Gnocco Fritto this morning and cant wait to have it again. From the note on the table wishing a Happy Birthday to each person coming up to wish him a Happy Birthday, I could not ask for a better way to celebrate my husbands birthday. I was trying to figure out in my head when the next family celebration is so we can bring others to enjoy the wonderful time we had at Ci Siamo. This will not be the last :) Hospitality at Ci Siamo is bar none. Thank you so much to each person yesterday who made it a memorable experience. It was my first time but they made me feel like we were family.

We had a LOVELY dinner here on a Thursday night. We did not have reservations, and was quoted a 45 minute wait. We were seated in 20! The lounge seating was a welcome and interesting change of page,!85 was very comfortable. The wait staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. We weren’t in any rush and we’re able to have a nice long, relaxing, and DELICIOUS meal! The Focaccia Bread is some of the BEST I’ve ever had. The mushrooms were full of flavor and any pasta you choose will be delicious. Even though we were stuffed, we considered dessert and were SO happy that we splurged and got the Hazelnut Gelatti! Some of the best ice cream I’ve EVER had. 11/10! Hope to dine in again sometime!

Hudson Yards tends to feel a bit like one of those suburban outdoor shopping malls, but Ci Siamo still feels authentic to New York. Food and service are top quality, ambiance is elevated but not at all stuffy. Make sure to get the onion torta!

  • Review 136 (2024-10-11 - Rating: 4)

Ambiance was okay, it’s the same tired open restaurant concept that’s too loud. server called me by someone else’s name, not sure of she was trying to pretend she knew me already or looked at the wrong reservation? the raviolo appetizer was the best part and the main reason i would go back - it was a puffed fried pillow filled with melted cheese. the pastas were great, drinks okay, dessert meh

Went with veggie friends and ate only meatless options. I didn’t feel like anything was missing. The beans and caramelized onion dishes were especially great. I’ll be back for sure.

It was a 10/10. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back and have been recommending it to everyone.

  • Review 143 (2021-11-17 - Rating: 5)

Excellent food, great atmosphere, good music, very good service, very nice place overall. The gnocchi and the pizza Blanca were delicious and unexpected. The rigatoni were very tasty. The Brussels sprouts recently added to the menu are amazing with a great kick of spices. The desserts are various and to die for. Don’t skip the dessert! In the minus side: the place is noisy due to the acoustic, the bathroom are very dark and difficult to find even how to turn on the water. The zero proof options are very limited.

  • Review 144 (2023-03-27 - Rating: 5)

Amazing Italian food ! The onion torta was to die for. The wine list was unique as well as the cocktail list. The open kitchen concept was so fun, we had such fun watching the cooks work their magic! Only item we got that didnt wow us was the cast iron focaccia.

  • Review 145 (2023-11-14 - Rating: 5)

Spectacular setting in the Hudson Yard collection - I missed my train to the Hamptons and headed to this well-appointed restaurant.I ordered Asparagus and the Whole Trout.Staff are genuinely efficient.

  • Review 148 (2024-08-08 - Rating: 4)

There was a cute flight of stairs to the second floor, where the restaurant is. The interior was beautifully designed and service was perfect. I got the rigatoni which I read was one of their most popular dishes, but I personally found it too salty to finish in one sitting.

  • Review 149 (2024-07-28 - Rating: 5)

A great atmosphere and interior design; very friendly service and they take walk-ins; great food - highly recommend Stracci pasta with rabbit and the dessert menu. Five stars!

  • Review 150 (2024-08-16 - Rating: 5)

The clam linguine and braised short ribs were definitely the best dishes- balanced in flavor and texture. Caramelized onion torta was a little salty, but ok in small doses with wine.

  • Review 156 (2022-05-26 - Rating: 4)

Really beautiful spot in Hudson Yards. The service was excellent. The food was overall very good.. The food felt a bit heavy, but none the less the restaurant is worth a try. Braised lamb and insalata verde were our favorites. Order the hazelnut gelato for dessert.

  • Review 157 (2024-11-12 - Rating: 5)

My favorite Italian place in the city. We got their onion torta, rigatoni alla gricia (best guancile ever) and crab pasta and they were all amazing.

  • Review 158 (2024-07-11 - Rating: 5)

The elevator wine here is really something special.Pastas and salads were delicious. The chocolate cake dessert was out of this world. Was not a huge fan of the scallop crudo.

  • Review 159 (2023-03-20 - Rating: 5)

2nd time we had eaten there (lunch before, dinner this time). Exceptional service, with a sommelier guiding me through the exhaustive wine list toward a solid bottle of white wine that wasnt a budget buster. Great pasta and desserts. I highly recommend Ci Siamo.

  • Review 160 (2024-09-25 - Rating: 5)

Lovely high-end Italian dining experience. I came alone while in NYC and my waiter constantly checked in on me and let me know the status of my food items. The restaurant is beautiful and lively.I ordered the Caramelized Onion Torta, which was like a savory pie version of French onion soup. The textures and flavors were very all great. The restaurant also gave me a free Gnocco Fritto, which was like a crispy hollow cheese pillow that melted in your mouth after you bit it. It was fun to eat and was delicious. The entree was the Tagliatelle, which might have been the best pasta Ive ever had. The noodles were the perfect softness and the sauce was acidic, yet spicy, really capturing all the best qualities of tomato sauce. For dessert, I opted against the amazing looking Basque Cheesecake (next time for sure) to get the Lemon Torta. It was wonderful. It was very tart, akin to a Key Lime Pie, and it coated my tongue in the best way. There was a torched pile of meringue as well, which was nice when you got a little of it with your bite. It was a nice end to the meal.

I am a strong Hillary Sterling fan for many years and she is still turning out some of the best Italian food in NYC. The space is lovely, the staff warm and welcoming, and the food AMAZING. Dont miss the Cast Iron Focaccia, the Little Neck Clams, Braised Shelling Beans, Braised Lamb and the Smoked Swordfish.

  • Review 166 (2024-08-02 - Rating: 5)

One of the trendiest restaurants in NYC right now! My fiancé and I live in the building where Ci Siamo is located, and we tried to walk in several times with little success - make sure to make a reservation! This time we got lucky - we walked in on a Wednesday night and got seated at a lounge table. The restaurant was packed though.Beautiful stylish modern decor. Beautiful young and stylish crowd. Our wonderful waitress Courtney helped us choose the wines as per our taste - she recommended Pavese from north Italian region as we are Sauv Blanc/Sancerre lovers, and it was a great selection. We got prosciutto and gnoccho fritto to snack on, which was enough as we were not super hungry. But the HIGHLIGHT of our visit was Kindness of our sweet waitress Courtney. When she heard us speak a different language (Russian) she asked where we were from, and we answered - Ukraine 🇺🇦 You don’t have to be a politic enthusiast to know what’s happening in our home country now… She made a sweet non-related comment about her classmate from Ukraine. As we finished up our food, Courtney brought out a dessert menu and insisted we both get desserts as a treat from her ❤️ At that moment I felt so much Love and Care from this beautiful soul. Thank you, dear Courtney. With people like you, this world has a chance 🙏🏻See delicious affogato in pics :)Dear New Yorkers and fellow travelers, if you’d like to see more fabulous nyc/world places, learn about situation in Ukraine or just want to say Hi, feel free to reach out to my insta @daria.newyork.Cheers to good people, fabulous places and peace in the world!

Ci Siamo exceeded every expectation. We were warmly welcomed and then taken to our table which happened to be cozy leather banquettes with the beautiful window views. We look forward to our next visit with you!!!

  • Review 170 (2024-06-14 - Rating: 4)

I was excited to try Ci Siamo considering it has gotten a lot of positive press. My overall opinion is that it is very trendy, has good food, and offers excellent service. The restaurant itself is on the 2nd floor and is quite expansive. They have great decor and an open kitchen. I will say it can be busy and loud if you are sitting near the open kitchen like I was. The staff and service were great. Our server suggested some dishes; overall, management cares about their customers opinions. The food was tasty. We had a salad and the caramelized onion tart to start. I really enjoyed the salad, but the tart’s texture, in my opinion, felt too soft and left something to be desired. For my main course, I ordered the rabbit pasta, which I really liked and would recommend.

I made a mistake and added an un-normal amount of tip. The same night McKinna DiMarco mailed me about it, checking that I didn’t make a mistake, and corrected the amount. That is outstanding and creates trust and makes this an outstanding establishment! It would have been so easy to keep my money but values are everything. Thanks for an excellent afternoon!

One of my favorite italian restaurants in nyc! really good pastas and always get the gelato at the end. great cocktails and wine list too. have been 5+ times now and will keep coming back :)

  • Review 175 (2024-04-25 - Rating: 4)

The escarola salad was “ drowned “ in cheese - please tailor that to the clients preference. Some people like tasting the greens and seasonings more than the cheese, that overpowers everything. The lemon ravioli was delicious although could use less salt. The lamb was the highlight of the meal. The bomboloni was surprisingly good but definitely would benefit of a “real” dark chocolate version, maybe an 85%?Loved the ambiance and the waiter was spot on in the wine recommendation. Loved the attention of switching the bread from our appetizer since it had been a bit over friend ( brown/ black). Great restaurants tend to listen to feedback 🤗

  • Review 176 (2024-08-22 - Rating: 4)

Beautiful ambiance. Very spacious though Service was very slow. Took ~30mins to get our mains after appetizers. Came for brunch. Started with the scallop tartar which came highly recommended- but a tad too spicy for my taste. My rabbit pasta was too salty But crab cavatelli was reallly good.

We were seated immediately upon arrival. The place is spacious, with large windows. You can see chef’s cooking over open flames since the kitchen is open.Service is incredible, waiters are very attentive. Everything was fresh and delicious. • Review 184 (2024-06-10 - Rating: 5)

Amazing time as always. We arrived one hour ahead and sat at the bar for a few drinks. I had the Sunday service, highly recommend, my wife had a seltzer and a cranberry drink. At the time of our reservation, we were promptly seated. Our server, Nicholas was exceptional, with great attention - (our glasses were always full), great detail explaining and answering questions from everyone at our table. Food came on time and as always, the food was better than the previous time we had the GRASS FED RIBEYE and it was incredible, tender, and juicy. My wife had the RAPINI AGNOLOTTI and she loved it. Will always return for some more fun with friends. Always one of our go-to places. We hope to be back soon.

  • Review 185 (2023-03-16 - Rating: 5)

Our group of 5 had an amazing evening at Ci Siamo. The dishes we ordered were fantastic. On the must-try list are: gnocco fritto (light, flaky, cheesy pillows of awesomeness), focaccia (so light and airy; melts in your mouth), carmelized onion tart (more substantial than the first two apps, but so delicious in a creamy, dessert-like way), the smashed potatoes (so crispy and flavorful!), the pork Milanese (as big as a dinner plate and super thin), etc.We had a table next to the kitchen and got to meet chef Hilary. She was so welcoming and kind.We must go back to try the pasta dishes!! 😂
