    I recently visited Cibo e Vino and had an enjoyable experience. The food was flavorful, well-prepared and presented. The service was good, nothing outstanding, but we were served in a timely manner. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it a comfortable place to dine. Overall, a solid choice for Italian food in the area and reasonably priced.

    Came here for dinner without a reservation on Friday night, and found a spot at the bar, the place is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was fantastic; not too loud, perfect for a dinner date.The highlight of our night was definitely the bartender Sam, she guided us through the menu and helped us made some decisions because everything seemed so yummy! She was charming and kind, and the drinks were also fantastic!We’re new to the neighborhood and will for sure come back!

    This is a top-notch Italian restaurant. The seafood was cooked perfectly. I felt that the pasta could have been cooked a little bit longer, I was a little starchy. But the rest of it was fantastic. I tried some other dishes in the pasta and the other dishes was perfect.The service was very good, very attentive.It is a small venue, so you definitely want to call ahead.The decorations are very pleasant and non-invasive. You get the feeling that youre eating in a garden even in the winter when youre inside.They did get a little confused with the check and charged us the wrong amount, so they might have to get some of their hitting your goal work sorted.

    Very satisfying little place with great service. I ordered the handmade tagliatelle with bolognese and it did not disappoint. It’s a good size pasta but I ate it in that one sitting. Not like other US Italian restaurants that serve far too much for one person. Definitely try their handmade pastas. The servers were attentive and friendly. I’d love to have this spot by my house especially for winter for a hearty meal. Also their wines are at happy hour price for $7 and cocktails for $10.

    Lovely place from upper west side. Its really hidden gem on the streets. You have to stop a by when you see the vines. Lovely bartender. Great drinks and conversation.

    This place is really cute. The drinks were well balanced and tasty. The bread placed on the table was a bit dry. I ordered the mussels and fries, to my surprise the fries were these clunky burger fries instead of shoestring fries. Other than that I enjoy my meal and the atmosphere.

    Excellent food (huge portions! One entree is enough for two people) and a lovely outdoor setup, perfect for larger groups on a summer night. I loved the soft bread (focaccia?) served at the beginning and the cauliflower appetizer the most.

    I came in for a birthday celebration the food was great and Jackie the hostess was amazing she was so caring. The server Carlos was very attentive. Our bartender for the night was boyard, the drinks were impeccable. It was my friends birthday and we had a great night the food was yummy as well. Will definitely go back with my other friends. :)

    Wow! What a hospitable atmosphere. Beautiful and classy. Also not too loud which is hard to find in the city. Sat at the bar and Alek was a wonderful bartender. Would recommend to all my friends.

    A lovely spot for lunch. We were able to sit outside on a gorgeous day, and our dog with us was no problem. The salmon was delicious, perfectly crispy skin. Everything else looks great as well. A great spot to people watch too.

    My favorite go-to in the neighborhood. Wonderful menu and food quality, locally sourced produced, and an excellent and personable staff. I would eat here everyday and never get tired of the ambiance, food, staff and service. Shout out to Jelena, who always takes great care of us!

    Absolute best penne alla vodka in NYC, and probably the best I have ever had. It is one of their most popular dishes. It is competitively priced and similar to others in Manhattan. Though I am a bit disappointed that it seems they got rid of their half-price specials on weekdays 3-6pm when the pasta went from $17 to around $8.50. A shame, but I still love the place.

    The cauliflower was great, the service was spectacular especially the teamwork of the staff.The only things that needs improvement was the acoustics. The high ceiling make for a great ambiance but lead to sounds echoing and being louder than it should be for a space that size. Plus dishes can be heard from the kitchen every so often.Overall again great first experience just the acoustics could use some work.

    Had a wonderful dinner here with friends. Got a day-of reservation with no issues. The penne vodka was first-right and they kept the rosé flowing for us. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. And the decor…I mean COME ON

    My husband and I had dinner here the other night. This was the second attempt because the first time we didnt go due to lack of parking (the ONLY downfall of this restaurant) Im glad we tried again!Our waitress, Katie, was excellent. Attentive enough, fun and friendly. The owner visited our table and was hospitable and clearly proud of his place.We had oysters, asparagus soup (huge), mushroom risotto (YUM), and the halibut piccata (my husband licked his plate clean 🤣)We will be back!!!

    This place is wonderful. It’s a perfect restaurant to visit for catching up with an old friend or for a date night. As you approach the restaurant, you are met with an arch of flowers that frame the patio, and inside is fashioned with Art Deco lighting fixtures that cast warm light throughout the dinning room. Diana, the server, was lovely, as was the rest of the staff. To start, we had their bourbon and aperol cocktail and a special requested cocktail with lychee and vodka, followed by delicious handmade tagliatelle bolognese and their beet salad. For dessert, we had the mixed berry and custard tart with glasses of Sancerre, recommend to us by Diana. The evening was perfect and I am glad we came to the restaurant. We will be back soon!

    Absolutely love this place! Was able to make a same day reservation - staff was extremely accommodating. My friend and I ordered the tuna tartare and crispy cauliflower. The cauliflower was perfection. Light and airy with a great crunch. The tuna tartare had great flavor and was fresh. I had a very specific craving for vodka pasta. Cibo e Vino did not disappoint. It was SO YUMMY. The sauce was perfection and everything I had hoped for. My friend had the Cappellacci AI Funghi. She said it was the best pasta dish she ever had. We finished with the lemon tart. Tangy and sweet and great way to bookend our dinner. For drinks we started with cocktails - I had Volare and my friend had Palomita. I throughly enjoyed my drink. My friend, not so much - she didn’t like the heaviness of the mescal with the light ingredients of the cocktail. We paired our pasta dishes with a cab - loved it.Atmosphere was top notch. The decor was beautiful and cozy. Very well done. Bathroom was extremely clean.Overall we had a great experience. I’ve already recommended this restaurant to friends who live in the neighborhood.

    We had a special surprise birthday party at Cibo e Vino this weekend and the event was run perfectly from every angle. The food, drink and service were all top-notch.     My husband & I had a small wedding in Central Park & then came here with some family for a celebration dinner. It was perfect! We tried a bunch of places before the big day, and finally landed on Cibo e Vino. We wanted a place not too far from the park that had delicious food, and we loved the intimate and romantic feel. We spoke to Aleks a bunch before the event, and he was very responsive, helpful, and professional when it came to answering our many questions. We ended up having the dinner in the enclosed patio area, which worked well for the size of our group- 15 people. Everyone loved the food! The fan favorite was the cauliflower appetizer, and my personal favorite was the pasta & clams! Throughout the dinner the staff was so attentive and helpful! We are so glad we had our event at Cibo, and highly recommend it! Thanks Cibo for making our wedding dinner so special and one we will never forget!

    Came here for restaurant week and it did not disappoint! Everything was good and delicious!Location: It is located along UWS. There is seating outside and inside. The seat that we were located is kinda tight because it’s beside the door. Interior is cozy and you can really talk unlike other restaurants that are noisy.Service: hands down they were all nice! They take time to get your order and don’t rush you. Very attentive staff!Food: since it’s restaurant week, it is a set menu but we order food and cocktails. TUNA TARTARE: this is one of my favorite, specially if you put the tartare into the toasted bread. GRILLED PEACH BURRATA: very interesting take on a buratta, the peaches are crunchy I even thought it was apples. The burrata is fresh and silky. MEDITERRANEAN FARRO SALAD: this was my least favorite, it is so grainy and hard as if you are eating uncooked rice. SHORT RIB RAGU: omg so good, it is like pulled pork pasta. The pasta was aldente and the port was so soft and flavorful. TIRAMISU: my fave, because it’s not that sweet! Slight bitter with the chocolate which is perfect. PANNA COTTA: so soft and creamy! COCKTAILS: they are all good, kudos to the bar tender!Price rating: 7/10. To be honest the price is not bad for the huge portions!I will visit it again because everything was delicious except the farro salad! Tiramisu was the best!

    A lovely brunch!The French toast was actually well soaked like it should be, and the chicken panini was ever so light. Their bread is magical!The outside seating is comfortable, and the ambiance is so pretty with floral decoration surrounding the restaurant.And if the food was not worth the 5 stars, the staff also brought a container of water for our dog!     This is a great spot for a romantic night out with a significant other where you can enjoy delicious pastas and cocktails.     Came here for my birthday yesterday with 6 additional individuals. The food and atmosphere was great. I love the decor and the food was delicious. The only problem I encountered (which is the reason for only giving 4/5 stars) was with the group billing; we gave cash and informed the waitress to bill the rest onto one card. When the waitress returned with the card bill, they charged the card almost $400 (when the card only needed to be charged $191) and sited that they took the gratuity from the cash. We gave $500 in cash, gratuity was only $107, and the bill rounded up was $691. I’m hoping that it was a genuine mistake because it appeared as if they tried to take advantage of it being a large group. The bill was voided and the actual amount that needed to be charged was corrected, however, I really hope this is not a usual practice with large groups as it’s unethical.

    Sam, my bartender, is the kindest and most hardworking person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in the restaurant business. There were so many things that Sam did to make me feel valued and taken care of, despite having a lot of other guests and servers who needed drinks made. I will certainly be back and definitely sitting at the bar whenever Sam is working! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend. Roasted chicken and Toscano to drink was my choice tonight

    I had such a great dining experience the other night. The server Cynthia was so kind and was consistently checking on me, ensuring I was satisfied with the experience. It was a cold day and I appreciated her being thoughtful to the temperature inside. She asked if I would prefer the AC on or heater.     Good spot. Expensive for what it is but what isnt in this neighborhood anymore?.. Tiny menu. Not a lot of man options. No burger. Girls will like it because theres lots of flowers decorating the space and light fare. Staff was VERY friendly. I got the penne, not bad but certainly nothing special and small to medium portion. The (temporary?) front door is confusing to use as the door handle is installed backwards and upside down. Food was ok but certinly nothing stand out whatsoever except that it was pricey for what it was: sitting in folding chairs in a makeshift (yet very nice and warm shed) on the city sidewalk. Is this a $200 experience? I think not. No real complaints.

    What a beautiful cozy restaurant.Veru lovely romantic atmosphere, surprisingly warm in the outdoor areas.Food was delicious, I had a Branzino and It was delicious, my friends had some Pasta which were really good and decent size portions.The house cocktails were also really really good.     I had a breakfast/brunch with a friend from out of town. All of the food was really good. My husband liked the omelette and I loved the Belgium waffle. The blueberry cream thing on top of heavenly. I liked the bread of avocado toast as well. The breakfast price was not bad. I have 4 not 5 star because for me other than Belgium waffle, other items were good by not out of the world amazing. The decor and atmosphere was very cute and the waitress was friendly. I would like to come back for their Italian dinner. Since this is not a typical brunch place it opened at 10am and when we came at 10am, there wasnt too big of a crowd. However, it did get crowded around 11:30am.

    So happy to see that Cibo e Vino is back, now even more beautiful. I had dinner in Cibo last Thursday and it was amazing. Everything that we had was so delicious and service was great as always.     We stumbled upon this place when we sat down at the iconic Carmines and realized almost immediately that we made a mistake. We were all so glad we left and found this spot. The ambiance makes for a cute date night or a quiet respite from an overstimulating NY vacation. Every single dish was made to perfection and they put care into their desserts and after dinner drinks. Service was a bit slow, especially for a slow night.     A friend and I came for restaurant week and enjoyed our meal. We both got the octopus and hanger steak. The octopus was okay and the black risotto was delicious. They paired well together. The steak was good, but the accompanying potatoes were amazing. They were probably the best potatoes Ive ever had. I got the panna cotta and my friend got the tiramisu. I enjoyed the panna cotta but it was my first time having it so I cant really compare it. My friend thought the tiramisu was just okay (shes had better). The ballerina drink was fantastic. Service was great and attentive. The atmosphere was nice and I appreciate that you can hold a conversation without hearing too much of others. The outdoor space is very pretty.

    We stopped in at Cibo e Vino prior to a concert at MSG (super easy to get to via the 1 train) and I couldn’t recommend it enough! I seriously cannot fault them for anything. The restaurant itself was tastefully decorated and the tables weren’t on top of each other, as is the case with many restaurants in the city. The entire staff was friendly and the service was wonderful all around.The complimentary focaccia was airy and it’s olive oil companion was robust. For dinner, we got the agnolotti al funghi, salmon, and the risotto, the latter of which is large enough for 2-3 people to share. If you’re a pesto person, the pistachio pesto was to die for! For dessert we had tiramisu, chocolate mousse, and the pistachio truffle… there was nothing left on those plates. Moreover, their drinks were great; I suggest trying the Paparazzo, one of their signature cocktails. Since it was my birthday, they also gave us a complimentary round of port with dessert, which was smooth and left a pleasant aftertaste reminiscent of butterscotch.This is my new favorite spot in Manhattan, and I seriously can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Cibo e Vino, for the wonderful evening!

    Party of 2 went for outdoor dinner on a Thursday in June. We had a reservation. Good service. We had the truffle fries to share. I had the Bolognese while my friend had the Penne Alla Vodka. Both were excellent. We asked for extra cheese topping, and they were happy to serve. Came to around 80$, which is pretty good by Manhattan standards for the quality of food.

    Came here for the wine, and ended up getting dessert as well. First of all, the staff are all extremely friendly and make you feel at home right away. My girlfriend and I came here to get a couple of wine flights and relax on a Friday night. They have a good wine selection, but the best part is that they have a variety of wine flights you can choose from.I also ended up getting the mascarpone gelato, which was fantastic, and an amaro cocktail.     When we first entered our hostess, Jackie, was great and she was very attentive. She noticed my friend was celebrating her bday and asked if we would love desserts. Before she left she made sure we ordered our desserts with our great server, Carlos. He was attentive and kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Now the drinks were great.     Really love this restaurant! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect. Great date night spot in the Upper West Side or just a cute girls night out. We had the beet salad and bolognese, both were good portion sizes and very tasty. For desert we had the mixed berry tart paired with a glass of Sancerre. Our server, Diane, was such a gem when we were deciding on a type of wine. She was patient and listen to what we were looking for in a glass… she gave us a suggestion and sure enough, she hit the nail in the head! Will definitely be coming back!
