    I absolutely love this place. This is a very safe queer operated and owned space and the staff is beyond kind. Eddie, Vinny, Jeff, Ray, Alex, Chris and so many more staff members have created a memorable experience. Everyone here is so kind and my boyfriend and I always feel protected by security and staff. My boyfriend and I come almost every weekend, there’s always events whether karaoke or drag shows and bingo there’s always something to do there even on weekdays.My one critique is the music. Being a frequent customer, the music gets old and there isn’t many new main streams songs put in the playlist. There’s so many club songs by artists like Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doja Cat, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Kesha, Megan Thee Stallion, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and so many more!Overall my boyfriend and I love this place and we are frequent customer and will remain. Thank you to everyone!

    I’m a regular here. I love this place the owners are very nice. The bouncers are extremely welcoming. Especially Jeff! The bartenders are amazing as well. It’s a very safe environment.

    I’m not gay, but I go here with my usual crew and it’s really a fun time. I usually go for karaoke and once in a while for the weekend festivities. My only takeaway would be that there’s not as much of an outside area as there should be, but it doesn’t really affect my rating. All in all a great chill spot. Will recommend to any one of any orientation.Also credits to DJ Rob! The karaoke maestro always provides a good time and a great atmosphere.

    Feathers is such a great club with a diverse crowd. I love that there are two floors, first floor is if you wanna chill and chat and second floor is if you wanna dance & let your freaky self out. One of my favorite gay clubs!

    Ordered dinner for take out this evening from Feathers and the food was amazingly delicious. During this time of limited services Feathers has adapted with a great take out menu for curbside pick up or Door-dash delivery. And at the same time get to say hello to your favorite staff members who are working to make this possible. Big thank you to Paul and Jose for keeping the doors open and revamping to give us another option. Can’t wait till the doors reopen and we can dance, drink, and catch up with old friends. So with that said if you want a night off from cooking definitely order from Feathers you’ll love the food and the great service provided.

    I went to this bar often in the early 2000s so when I was in the Newark area yesterday, I had to stop by Feathers for a walk down Memory Lane. The bar tender downstairs was super friendly, I chatted with a few guys there who were regulars in the past also and then went upstairs about 10 pm. It was jus as I remember - guys start coming about 11 pm, and when I left about 1 am guys were lined up to get in outside! There was a great drag show upstairs and after, most people upstairs stayed on the dance floor. There was an overall great vibe.

    The atmosphere downstairs today was very good, I dont know if his is new but it kept the atmosphere going all night! I would return every Thursday if he is a DJ!

    These guys are so funny. They always play the blue oyster bar song when I walk in there in my chaps ready to slap some boys silly. If youre lucky, youll run into the famous DJ Danny Tenaglia. I swear I saw him here wearing a saddle and he would let people ride him.

They listened attentively to my concerns, apologized sincerely for the incident, and assured me that they are reviewing their security protocols to prevent such situations in the future. Their swift and understanding response reaffirmed my appreciation for their commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons.In conclusion, while my encounter with Jeff was regrettable, I am grateful for the owner and managers proactive approach in resolving the issue. Its evident they value their customers and strive to uphold a standard of professionalism that aligns with the enjoyable experiences Ive had at their establishment in the past. I look forward to continuing to support this bar and appreciate their efforts to ensure every guest feels respected and valued

    Always fun times, there is ample parking across the way. Drag shows are always great and drinks are fairly priced. They have top security at the door to ensure your safety, they are friendly and professional as well. Only things I would change is the option to pay the cover fee in credit (or do away with it completely), they mandate checking your coat for $3 - even a light leather jacket, and they did away with the majority of bathroom stalls downstairs which makes it unwelcoming and inconvenient for female patrons. Other then those small things, highly recommend going when DJ Alex Mendez is there... GREAT MUSIC!

    Great place to go dressed up. Unlike other TG or drag places, I never felt like there are escort TGs dancing and people want to just pick you up. Everyone was very friendly.Only downside to me was that it was very hot and sticky there and absolutely no air flow. If youre dressed up with wig etc, you might feel uncomfortable soon. Also if you are at all worried about catching COVID, this place is not for you.

    Decades of history here, that neither the March if time nor fire nor the internet could destroy...things are different but better, fun vibe with mixed crowd, no longer just stand and look at the gay guy youre never gonna get in bed. Mimi Imfurst performed night I was there and whole night was proof life in gay bars can still exist

    This is the best club ever. The security guards are so nice my favorite Jeff… greeting you in they always put a smile on my face. The bartenders are amazing. I always have a great time here. I always feel safe welcomed and accepted. The owners are very nice I guess 10 out of 10.

    Just came back from Club Feathers. This place is a great old bar/club. Staff is very polite and professional, security is something that they take serious and I loved it. Metal detector at the entrance and bag check... keep up the good job guys. Bar down stairs has a little low sealing it up stairs is just great. Nice music, nice drinks, fair price (not a bargain), food is delicious (just had a philly steak sandwich, A BARGAIN).

    I went on a Tuesday special night with my family. We played Bingo and enjoyed the hostess great hospitality with Hosea fabulous drinks!!! I went back Wednesday for karaoke gave them a Lil James Brown on da mic they loved it, well me💃! I Feel Good!

    Feathers has been around a VERY LONG TIME! Eddie does a great job managing the place. Yes, I get the place the place may not be for everyone, but because it doesn’t live up to your EXPECTATIONS, there is no need to bash the place.     The only bar in the area that serves the LGBT community. The burlesque shows are phenomenal so keep that in mind before complaining about their moderate prices. Best mixers Ive had at a bar. Completely safe and secure event space with more than adequate bouncers.

Changed from 3 stars to 4Music kinda sucks. no variety.. so if you go often it feels like they have the exact playlists on a loop. Bartenders and staff are always super nice but it’s not worth the drive if you’re further than 15-20 mins away

    It was a place that I used to go to in the late 70s when I first came out. And I kept on going there on weekends all through the 1980s. It was a fun place where you can chill, watch a show, and dance your ass off. And it was a time where everybody connected with each other instead of to their smartphones like theyre doing today.
