    Very clean and well Laid out upper west side bar. Their hook is a wide selection of microbrewery beers and they dont disappoint. The selection was actually so big. It couldnt decide which beer I would want. Luckily the bartender saw my indecisiveness and came over to help me make a selection. He was extremely knowledgeable about the different types of microbrewers. Also very clean bathrooms. Oh, and the tables had this really cool ring and hook game. Which took a second to figure out, but once I did it was very addictive.

    If youre looking for great craft beer - to drink at the bar or to take home - this is the place on the UWS.Before diving into the beer itself, lets talk about the location ... its really amazing. The space is warm and welcoming. The kind of place you want to hang out in. I came in for a quick pint and some cans to go and ended up spending several hours there, simply because the space was so nice and friendly that I didnt want to leave.The staff introduced themselves by name - when has that ever happened - and were super friendly. We talked beer for a while. There are also several TVs in the space, showing everything from old movies, to sports, to B-movies, so even if youre not looking for conversation theres something to do.Also of note: theres some outside seating and you can bring in outside food.Ok, lets talk about beer. Great selection of drafts to choose from, and you can order a flight of four it youre not quite sure what youd like to get. The menu when I was there was heavy on IPAs (no surprise in the current craft beer environment), but there was also a red, a radler and saison for some variety.But where Craft+Carry really shines is the cans. Theyve got beers from a wide variety of locations across the U.S. in that cooler. Stuff you cant get on tap. You can either buy a can and drink it there or (for a slightly lesser cost) get it to go. These beers are the true treasures and are absolutely worth the $3 more or so to drink them in store. (And get a four pack to go. You wont regret it!)If youre not used to craft beer prices, you might be shocked when you go to pay your bill ... but dont be! Craft+Carry has very reasonable prices for this quality of craft beer. This aint Budweiser and your tastebuds will know it and youll quickly see the value.Overall, come to Craft+Carry. Have a pint and chat and brings some cans home after. No better craft beer on the UWS and as good as youll find in anywhere in Manhattan.

    There is a nice choice of beers to choose from draft as well as from the bottles and cans in the fridge. From Monday to Friday (12-4pm) they have Hoppy Hour with a discount applied to any purchase on draft.

    First time visit! LOVED THE PLACE. Were big beer people and really enjoyed the tap selection. Our beer tender Jordan was super great and knowledgeable! Be back soon, maybe a place in St. Pete FL.!

    3 beers in and it feels so good to be out again! I am currently in a major life transition so I won’t be able to frequent this soon to be hot spot but I am enjoying it while I’m in NYC! Hit those games in the back up! Wubba Lubba Dub Dub!!

    This is now the second location I visit with craft+carry. Located on the upper west side means up pay the price but when your into craft beer you should expect that. They have a GREAT selection of beers as well as ciders and even a draft section that I didn’t get to snap a photo of but did get the menu of drafts. I will definitely be coming back to this location!

The last tenant to occupy this space was Bar Veloce.The new west side location fuses a rustic, comfortable aesthetic—tin tiles, vintage fixtures, and reclaimed pine accents—with modern features like sealed-on-site crowlers, growler refills and a regularly rotating draft selection. An on-site vintage arcade game is free to enjoy while sampling new beers.In honor of our latest shop, were releasing a new collab with Finback called Slice of Sunset.     I had too many very excellent beers here while waiting for Shakespeare in the Park to start. It felt sunny and airy and a little fancy, like youre a young woman just starting out as a florist or a very successful dog walker in a Netflix series that people hate-watch. I might have been drunk. Bartenders were super nice!
