    Very cozy lounge with an incredible view, service is good. There are not as many food options, but everything tastes good. The only weird thing is that we had margarita cocktail there on Tuesday and on Saturday and those were significantly different. Less alcohol and wasn’t full glass on Tuesday, but always filled and delicious drinks on weekend.Make sure you visit the open rooftop&bar, which is one level up from the lounge

    Cocktails at the bar tasted exactly as we wanted! Overall good bar with good vibes, but there was only one bartender for the whole place. We didn’t mind having to wait a bit, but it seemed a lot for one person 😓

    Amazing viewpoint and a good happy hour though this doesn’t seem to be advertised anywhere in advance- plenty of $12 cocktails as well as small plate on discount. We paid $18 for a window table and got to watch the sunset over the city looking directly at the Empire State Building / downtown Manhattan. It was really intimate and very relaxed especially compared to typical viewpoints - top of the rock, edge etc.

    Really cute spot with a beautiful view of the Empire State Building!We didn’t even know where the rooftop was until we asked maybe when seating quests let them know there is one would be a good idea! Menu was good and it is decorated nice and classy.

    Introducing my friend from Mumbai to NYCs rooftop scene was a memorable experience, and this place topped the list. The view of the Empire State Building was breathtaking, making it the perfect choice. We savored the night with delicious Lazy Daisy cocktails and some mouthwatering appetizers. It was an unforgettable evening, and this rooftop restaurant truly captured the essence of NYCs charm.

    Lovely little rooftop bar upstairs with great views and chilled atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the sullen, disengaged bartender. He never smiled, acted like every request for a drink was a chore and it wasn’t just us - noticed it with everyone. The female servers however were lovely, friendly and smiley.

    The Daintree is a rooftop bar on top of the Hendricks Hotel. It has 2 levels, so make sure after you get off the elevator, you take the stairs higher. You have great views of the empire state building. Its a touch of Australien, although except the stairway, which is covered with some paintings of kangaroos and a drink on the menu called Aussie Spritz, which I had and it was definitely a play of Aperol Spritz, and a dish on the menu, kangaroo skewers, I am not sure what makes it Australian. The first night, it was closed till 9 pm. for a private event, so make sure you call to see if it is open.

    A wonderful view over the Empire State Building. We had a reservation in the lounge where they have a full menu for cocktails. The terrace is great but they don’t carry as much choice for cocktails up there. It was so beautiful though that we grabbed more drinks outside.

    If youre looking for an epic rooftop in NYC, the Daintree Rooftop is a must-visit spot. Located in the heart of the city, this rooftop restaurant boasts some of the most breathtaking views of the Empire State Building that youll find anywhere in the city.But the views arent the only reason to visit Daintree Rooftop - the cocktails are absolutely incredible as well. I started off my meal with some fresh oysters. They were perfectly chilled and served with a delicious mignonette sauce that complemented their briny flavor perfectly.Next up was the tuna tartare, which was equally impressive. The tuna was fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning to bring out its natural taste. The presentation was beautiful as well.But the real star of the show at Daintree Rooftop is definitely the view. From my table, I had a stunning panoramic view of the Empire State Building that was absolutely breathtaking. The city skyline was laid out before me like a shimmering tapestry, and I couldnt help but feel like I was experiencing something truly special.Overall, I would highly recommend Daintree Rooftop to anyone looking for an amazing view and incredible cocktails & bites. The oysters and tuna tartare were both absolutely delicious, and the views of the Empire State Building were simply unforgettable. I cant wait to come back and experience it all over again!

    Came here for lighter eats after a big lunch for myHusbands birthday. We had a fantastic time. They were extra sweet to our seven year old and made her feel included with a “mocktail” lemonade. We stayed through sunset and enjoyed the Kangaroo and Steak Frites. The burger sliders were exceptionally yummy! Whenever we are in NYC again, we will come back.

    All I can say is views for days. I brought two visiting friends and the rest of the group was from NYC, all had the same WOW reaction. The Empire State Building is essentially your drinking buddy when you are at Daintree. No better place to take pictures and sip carefully curated cocktails. There is both an indoor and outdoor situation so truly an all season spot. Ive now been several times (including an engagement part and it hasnt disappointed. The vibe is Australia meets chic South Florida with decor that marries chic tropical and pink hues. All around the space are leafy greenary which makes sense since the bars namesake is an Australian rainforest. Drinks and food pay homage to both Aussie flavors and asian.

    Daintree Rooftop Bar in Midtown offers an absolutely stunning view of the city skyline, including an incredible view of the Empire State Building.     Great experience here, if you can snag reservation for the sunset oysters it’s an insane deal, i literally felt like i was stealing. 12 oysters + a cocktail for $12 is ridiculous, i can’t believe it was real. we spent about 3 hours here enjoying some of their other bites, drinks, and views and had a lovely time! we really enjoyed the halloumi bread too. we plan on coming back this week!

    I absolutely loved Daintree! Everything was excellent, from the drinks to the service to the atmosphere. The views are incredible; I couldnt get enough of them! They bring you free popcorn thats really yummy too. I loved every drink I had. They were lovely combinations. Its fully enclosed, but they even have access to the actual open air roof top! Highly recommend!

    I stopped in for cocktails before dinner with friends. Ive heard the ambiance was to dye for - it was worth the hype. Literally, stepping out of the elevator was the view of the Empire State building and the Freedom Tower. We started out at the bar in the back, enjoying yummy cocktails like the Watermelon Mint Collins and Garden Soiree. As the sun set, we ventured to the front and sat on their beautiful, brightly colored velvet couches and chairs. Enjoying more cocktails, like the Lazy Daisy and Coffee & Wood. This place has a moody vibe perfect for drinks with friends, happy hour or a date.

    A wonderful bar with great views of Manhattan. Our hostess presented us with some bubbles as we had noted it was our anniversary on the reservation, a lovely touch! The cocktails we then had were also delicious. We ordered one small plate of the kung pao cauliflower which was very tasty. I will definitely visit again when I next return to NYC.

    Amazing location, atmosphere and good priced drinks when we came during happy hour. Staff in the lower bar were really friendly and made us feel welcome but staff on rooftop bar were extremely rude and unhelpful! A shame, but this happened at the end of our visit so we still managed to have a great time.

    Daintree was a wonderful rooftop experience. I highly recommend this place for a birthday celebration or weekend date night. The place is gorgeous and even the lounge views are amazing. The rooftop area is super cute with an outside bar available as well. The views are great and the French fries are delish with amazing cocktails. I had a great espresso martini (cold brewtini) there. I would say this is a place you would like to wear a cute outfit to, as it is upscale-ish. The service was great and the location was walking distance from our hotel as well. Great area to go to from the Hell’s Kitchen area. Highly recommend for girls night and everything is picture worthy. Can’t wait to come back!

    Hosted an all-day sponsored event here and everything went wonderfully. The location itself is gorgeous and the way the spaces are split up made it feel even bigger than it was, the rooftop being a huge bonus! Mary and Mariska helped with the event and assisted our team all day and deserve a big shout out. They rolled with everything we threw at them during an almost 10 hour day and did so with great attitudes! We would absolutely host here again.

    Ive been here several times. Their service and staff are consistently great. For a rooftop bar with very nice views of the Empire State building, theyre one of the good ones. Most rooftop bars you will see in the city are overpriced with water-downed drinks and pretentious and rude servers. This place is the exception. Their cocktails are really good and strong and their servers are the best.Definitely one of my all time favorite rooftop bars in New York City! (my three star food rating is just for the hummus which I ordered the last time I was there. Not sure how the other dishes in the menu are.)

    This is such a find!!!! They have a great happy hour special so I highly recommend it especially if you like martinis or oysters. The view is beautiful and the space is so elegant and pretty.     This is a hidden gem. I’m not sure if you have to be staying at Hotel Hendricks to visit it but what a spot. The lover level which is the last floor before the rooftop is very beautiful. The fries were actually just like McDonalds but better lol.I wish you could charge to your hotel room but other than that, no changes

    My husband and I came at 8pm on a Thursday. If you’re looking for a loud/rowdy setting, this place isn’t for you. Daintree is the epitome of a classic, grown but fun nyc evening. There’s good music that you don’t have to yell over (so refreshing), great views, good food (exceeded my expectations) & good, strong cocktails. Truly a hidden gem. The service was great & the prices were right. 4 cocktails, 4 food items, excluding the 20% auto grat our bill was well below $150. You’re in the heart of Manhattan & let’s be real we’ve all paid more for much less, at least once in this city. Daintree, SEE YOU SOON! Overall experience 10/10.

    We stopped at Daintree in between dinner and another rooftop reservation in the area. Upon entering on a Saturday night, the rooftop was not crowded at all. The ambiance was dark, cozy, and relaxing. Theres seating near the windows for views of the city, but we cozied up in two chairs surrounded by plants. The plants added a nice touch to the rooftop and actually separated us from another party on the other side. I didnt order a cocktail and just settled for a glass of wine. Their wine list isnt extensive (as expected). I didnt take a look at any food options that they offered.

    Was here back in February for a nice Valentine’s Day date after dinner with a lovely young lady. We absolutely loved the atmosphere at Daintree.     Relatively small rooftop lounge bar with a terrace space and solid drinks. we order bites but they took over 30 mins to arrive but were decent. we had a bit of a miscommunication on seating and due to the delay in the food - we were asked to settle the bill upon only receiving our food for less than 20 minutes.

    Well to start off the food and drinks were exceptional! The server Andrew and bartender Denise were both very attentive. I am definitely coming back! I’d recommended getting the oysters and the Venus fly trap. Delish!

    Excellent little hidden gem of a rooftop bar in the Hotel. All the staff was very friendly and the decor s was great. The bathroom smelled amazing. The rooftop is small but has an amazing view of the Empire State Building.Rooftop bar tender wasVery good and social.

    Came here for drinks at sunset. Views are pretty good. The drinks can be strong. I got the umeshu and my friend got the champagne cocktail. We shared oysters and shrimp. Not sure if I recommend the food. The service was also rather sparse on one side of the bar since there was barely anyone there. Automatic gratuity on the bill.

    Daintree provided an exquisite venue for my companys VIP event, and so many of our guests commented on how lovely it was. The staff was polite, thoughtful and very easy to work with.

    If youd like to enjoy Empire State Building just in front of you - thats your spot! The best close view of it so far. It was unexpectedly not crowded in Friday night, and we really enjoyed our time on the rooftop sitting and staring at Empire State Building 😀 the cocktails and other drinks are cheap I should say, in comparing to other rooftop bars. Im glad I found that place. Definitely will come back.

    One of the most amazing and most underrated rooftop bars near Times Square. Go there for the views of Empire State Building, go there for the ambience, go there for the service, and you will not be disappointed.
