    Breathtaking view and good drinks!!The place has undergone some new furniture renovations, and they boost the aesthetic and ambiance of the bar. The view is beautiful. Drinks were well made and strong. Live DJ could’ve been a little better, but the best feature is view and drinks. Mac and cheese croquettes were pretty good as well, 7/10. Get here.

    Darling is aptly named - the bar is indeed very darling. Had such a great experience, from the excellent service and lovely atmosphere to the impeccable drinks and DJ tunes. Plus, an amazing sunset to top off the evening. The views over Central Park are stunning! And while we didn’t have views from our bar seats, we were able to walk over to the patio and take in the views from there and snap some pics.Yes, drinks are on the pricier side, but you get superb drinks plus the views - worth it!Side note: We were able to be seated quickly as walk-ins on a weekday around 7:30pm. Everyone from the hostess to the bar tenders and servers was lovely.

    Took us a minute to find this spot since Google maps took us through the back entrance but once we made it up we were so happy. Such a beautiful space overlooking central park. Cocktails and wine were delicious and the vibes were just right for a day time cocktail. And the staff went above and beyond for us and made us feel very special.

    Let’s start with the decor and vibe. Wow! Super cute and tropical with a luxe feel.Celebrated my birthday here and was blown away. The hostesses are pleasant and just gorgeous, Axelle was a dream as a host.The cocktails were tasty and the bites were yummy and plated really well.Make a reservation as I did see them sadly turn some patrons away due to all tables being booked for the night.Loved it here and cannot wait to return and catch a sunset with the amazing Central Park views.

    Great service, lovely view. The ambiance at Darling is quite the treat. The music isnt too loud, the view is spectacular and the staff is attentive and great. I was lucky enough to visit while the sun was setting and got to take in the gorgeous view. I didnt have too many things from the menu but my mock tail and Hummus plate made the view all the more enjoyable. Will return to enjoy more of skyline!

    I have been to a lot of rooftop lounges, bars, and restaurants in NYC (including the Peak, Gallow Green, RH, etc) and this is definitely my new favorite. The views are unparalleled and the art deco inspired setting transports you to a place of relaxation. The cocktails are superb - which is a plus because most rooftop lounges in NYC have overpriced mediocre drinks. Darling offers quality!But what truly sets Darling apart from the rest is its exceptional hospitality and service. The host, Axelle, is absolutely gracious and welcoming. She will make this place a personal favorite for a lot of visitors. Moreover, our server, Victoria, was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. The staff showed excellent grace under pressure especially when the place started to get crowded.I am sure people will keep coming back if they maintain this level of hospitality. I already made 2 other reservations after our first visit - one for a business guest and the other for a visitor from France.

    I visited on a weekday night around 6-8pm and it was very busy and bustling with people on the older side (45+).The view of the central park was gorgeous, the tropical vibe was cool, the seating has enough space between tables to allow for some privacy.Our drinks though took forever to come (and it was just wine, not hand crafted cocktails) - over 20 min.

    Fantastic view, strongly recommend to sunset lovers! Delicious cocktails, chic decor, cool music by DJ and amazing hospitality. Maybe it’s coincidence but every time I come here, I see some sport A-lists, one night SF 49er’s owner was here and last weekend I saw Detroit Tigers after game.

    Ok rooftop with exorbitant prices. Drinks were subpar, weak, food especially the mushroom sliders were good. They had a DJ who was spinning great house tracks. Ordered “Darling Unlimited “ drink which was very limited and not worth $25.

    This place is really a secret gem in Manhattan. Boasting spectacular views of the New York City skyline, and a birds-eye view of Central Park. Service is best at the bar, and a little slower the farther you get from it. The energy is all about the dancing, partying, relaxing, and enjoying the good company. Honestly, a great place to make friends and extend your circle. Some really interesting cocktails, and they’re all good. Just depends on your palette. Have a good time, and enjoy the views!

    If youre disabled or have trouble going up and down stairs, consider another venue. Wonderful, roof-top, (covered and heated during winter months) ambiance for a drink or two and conversation with your closes friends. Drinks were amazing and the food, while a bit pricey, were really good. Great place before heading out to the NYC nightlife or after dinner drinks.

    THRILLED to wake up and have breakfast at this gorgeous restaurant before my busy day. This is one of my new favorite places in NYC.Most of all, BETTY at Darling is one of the most hospitable, lovely individuals.     One of the best views from a rooftop bar I’ve ever seen. Pricey, but well-curated drinks. On top of the 47th floor of the Park Lane Hotel with an unobstructed view of the Central Park! DJ did not miss with the song selection, and our server Joseph was a real one. If you’re looking for a nice date spot or a group outing - come here!

    Great spot with spectacular views of Central Park and Midtown. The Host and manager was so sweet and accommodating and set us up. We also received a complimentary glass of Prosecco. We enjoyed our snacks of Charcuterie board and veggie spring rolls and the service was attentive and friendly. They had a DJ and the music adds to the ambience. Mixed crowd but mostly on the young side. Really pretty hotel with clean bathrooms.

    The view is breathtaking! We went here for farewell drinks for some family members, and its a great location to look over the city and spot some sights in Central Park, especially with the ice rink now open. The drinks are super pricy and if this were in a regular location, definitely too expensive for the quality. But I understand that you pay for the view and thats worth it. Staff was friendly, though a bit snobby when someone asked for a Long Island Iced Tea. Why judge peoples taste?

    The views are stunning! The service is great, the lady was there when we needed her, would occasionally check in on us, but was not too much. She even gave us the last drink on the house.     This place is a fantastic rooftop bar! 🍸 Darling on top of the Park Land Hotel 🏨 offers a wonderful selection of upscaled cocktails 🍹 and delicious 🤤 dishes 🍽️ - delicious get thier Carajillo cocktail (Espresso ☕ and Rum 🥃) and The High Tea 🍵 cocktail (Gin with Banana 🍌 Liquor, Lemon 🍋, and Peach 🍑 Oolong Tea)! Staff 👨‍🍳 is friendly and welcoming and the service is quick ⏲️ and professional! The place is beautifully decorated, ambience 🎶 is wonderful, and the view of Central Park 🏞️ and the City 🌆 is unbelievable!     Park lane/Darling roof top bar to get there no one was by the lobby elevator and waited 10 to 15min to finally get on smh.Our server was great but other servers not so good. ( I don’t know their names and I hate to describe them by their race but our server was the black guy with shaved head looking young he was good tho he checked on us sometimes just wish he’d check on us more often other than that he was good)Wagyu Sando was awesome

    My review of your lovely Darling Rooftop Bar is very complimentary! My best friend and I went there on September 15, to celebrate friendship – and life. We could not have made a better decision than spending a few hours, at sunset, in the good hands of your exceptional staff. It was the most perfect clear, crisp day for a rooftop experience – so this was incredible in every way. This was like a secret intimate hideaway and made everyone feel like the real world – was a million miles away.We could see for miles and there was a cool breeze to compliment things. The view – unforgettable, the food and drinks – really enjoyable. But – it was your wonderful, friendly and dedicated staff that really made everything so perfect and gave us an evening we’ll long remember. I must mention the people who went above and beyond to ensure we were welcomed and well taken care of: Anthony, Juan Carlos and Michael. Please pass along our sincere thanks to them all for a job well done. See you next time we feel like being pampered.

    I saw Darling on Instagram when they first opened and added it to my will go one day list. I finally tried it out and I am so mad that I waited. I had such a good time and I could only image how much more fun it wouldve been in the summer. Top reasons why Ill return:VIEW - Awesome view overlooking Central Park. Since its winter, you get a perfect view of the ice skating rink.PEOPLE - the manager Chris made me and my friend feel like VIP.FOOD - I got the chicken sliders which were seasoned to perfection and had a nice sauce.DRINKS - The by the glass wine list is limited but the bartender made us special shots that were amazing.MUSIC - The music was a total vibe - the DJ did his thing. His name was Wayne (not sure if hes there every night).VIBE - Overall, I loved the ambiance. Its insta worthy for the picture takers yet low key enough to enjoy a nice date.

    So far it has been the best view for me in the city, the staff is super friendly, when we arrived it was full they assigned us a table with a partial view, we talked to the host asking if he could give us another table later, he told us that it would be pending, and yes After a while they went looking and gave us the best table in the world, the cocktails were super delicious, I ordered one with incredible lavender.

    Great experience. I believe it was Tony (?? the one with the bright contacts) and Josue (may be botching the spelling) who helped host us. They kept an eye for a table since we didn’t have a reservation. We lucked out! The ambience and music were great and drinks were solid (we had dinner before so didn’t try any food). It was night time so we didn’t quite get a good view of Central Park but took a quick peek at the patio area before we left and would definitely come back the next time we’re in town, both for the experience and the hospitality!

    Ive wanted to come here for so long! I just didnt have a reason to because we dont usually hang out in midtown. When our DJ friends announced they were playing here, I was excited for the opportunity to check it out!Settled on the 47th floor, you need to take the elevator to 46th and take the stairs to 47th, its a cute walkway. As you get to the top, youre greeted by their host/hostesses, I had made reservations and specifically noted to be seated closest to the DJ booth to watch our friends play (I honestly wasnt sure if they would see the note or be able to do it, but I tried). I think they saw the note because the host/hostesses were super accommodating, Im really appreciative that they were able to get me that table (🙌) which made for such a better experience than I imagined. Its also probably luck and we got there an earlier hour too.We started at the bar first with a drink while we waited for the table to become available. We didnt have to wait long and got seated next to the DJ booth in the terrace. What I really wanted to see were the beautiful views of Central Park. Of course it was already night, but you can still see the surrounding areas of Central Park South, East and West sides which were still amazing.We only tried a few drinks on their menu (no food as we had dinner before coming, but it looked and smelled good!): Darling Unlimited, The Isadora and Here Comes Trouble, all delicious. I also asked for an Espresso Martini not on the menu but also delicious.Overall we had a great time, more friends and fans of the DJs came later in the night, which made for a fun atmosphere.We will be back when its lighter out, so we can see the views during the day.     If u love Central Park u should see it from the top - visit Darling rooftop bar before sunset and tell me how u like it. Bartenders are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended

    Not the reviewer type, but. Darling Rooftop. Gotta say, it was an EXHILARATING, delicious experience. I must leave a review as it is that spectacular.The Vibe is Lively, scenic but still quaint. Opulent. I felt like I was in a museum with amazing staff that gives you an Experience. Im going back there soon as I can.Delicious food. Very tasty, with a smoked salmon, I actually need the recipe too. Amazing beverage even the water was fresh.The Staff are humble, helpful and their very friendly. I just love this spot, and I think you will too.Come solo, or with a group or for a night with friends for the holidays or summer or anytime of the YEAR :)You will have an elevated experience here. 5 stars all the way ✨

    We had a great evening at Darling. We were married at the Park Lane 50 years ago today, and returned tonight to celebrate. The service was impeccable, great ambiance, delicious food, stunning views and fabulous music. The setting is intimate and the views have the wow factor. The staff definitely deserves 5 stars, very friendly, accommodating and very polite. Thank you Darling!

    I had a wonderful experience here with my friend. We were out for a casual day and decided to stop by without reservation for some drinks. I was even worried I’d be underdressed, but the hostess, along with the bartender and staff treated us so nicely. Everyone was so attentive and the atmosphere was gorgeous. Thank you!

    Polar & Omar are incredible and made an anniversary truly memorable. Mike, the waiter was very accommodating and ensured the chefs would make special entrees for us with out any excess charges. A view to remember and an experience to have. Thank you again to the staff, we will surely be back!

    Perfect place when you want to grab a quick drink, wow your out of state friend, and grab a fancy sandwich. Yep! Check out a bar downstairs, very classy. The bar upstairs is perfect for parties, or a date night. Dress nice.

    There are bartenders, mixologist, and then there is Jason. Darling is a beautiful location with its 360 views of the city and moody decor. However, the real show is at the bar where Jason makes some of the best, most intricate drinks in Manhattan with the précision of a chemist and the flare of a magician.

    What an amazing lounge , the view is amazing and drinks are superb . Omg the food is off the hook. A little pricey but worth it , they work mostly with reservations but you can sit at the bar , Sam the middle eastern bartendet bartender was great, he was patient and very helpful and also very nice to talk to . Definitely a place to check out and highly recommended.

    Very nice and chic roof top bar. We spontaneously got a table at around 7:00 p.m. on a weekday. And this without a reservation.The service is very nice and polite. The cocktails are delicious and have a lot of alcohol, so you get something for the price you pay, about $22 per cocktailThe prawn ceviche was also really, really tasty. Although the portion is very small, you also pay for the view as well as the prawn.The view is better during the day than at night.All in all, highly recommended for a good drink or a date night.

    Bar on top of a hotel in New York with a direct view of the city in front of Central Park. The place is beautiful, the view is excellent. We had a reservation and they made us wait about 15 minutes after our time to deliver the table. The service is amazing. There are several cocktails, very delicious. The music was the best for me, with a DJ and a very pleasant volume.Without a doubt quite an experience.
